George and Nataliia you were amazing, such lovely service and genuinely lovely experience thanks to these guys. Food was great, good value, lots of choice. Perfect!

Food was surprisingly lovely! Claims 'small' dishes, but they were very fair portions especially for the price of them. Service was amazing, seated quickly and food waiting times were incredibly reasonable given how busy the restaurant was at the time. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing service, the food was delicious and it was served super quick I came with my fiancé and we ordered 6 dishes to share, make sure you do that since they recommend 3 per person. Also Marie was an amazing waitress super nice and always asking if the food was good 100 recommend

Unfortunately Experience was ruined by one of the staff treatment. We received a negative attitude from a male a waiter who has took most of our orders Examples: we tried asking about the menu options- and the reply was we just have what’s written on the menu My friend asked very friendly what he recommends from the pasta ( which is a very common question that’s usually welcomed in most restaurants) , but he replied in an unpleasant way , stating he does not eat most of the of the pasta types!! Another encounter when collecting the empty dishes my friend tried helping by handing the dish to him and was only shouted at to just leave everything on the table. He was finally very triggered when we were paying and selecting No for a tip on the payment machine To be fair other staff were very friendly. I wouldn’t comment on the food , because what’s the point of a good food when we all what we received was unfriendly treatment.

Good food BUT TERRIBLE SERVICE!

One of my favourite restaurants in Trafford Centre. I have been there quite a few times and always had a great time, plus the food is fantastic.

Must say this place was "ok" for eating. There were a lot of fast food places in the trafford centre but this looked more like a restaurant so I wanted real food. Unfortunately it was more like better quality fast food than restaurant. Which is OK I guess for where we were. Food wasn't too good, but it wasn't expensive. Service was good though, we were seated and served quickly and staff were all friendly. I'd say this is better than usual fast food but expect basic food and you'll be fine.

Just been to Trafford enter Pastowith my best friend and kids. One waiter was miserable but on other one was fantastic. He was funny and charming and looked after us really well. Unfortunately we didn’t ask his name but he had short dark hair and about 25.

Very delicious food and enjoyable atmosphere. Maria was great and friendly! Highly recommend the tapas style Italian food - such a fantastic idea!

Had set meal but received wrong meal so I explained to waiter who quickly corrected it, however, it was added to our bill, apparently a 'mistake' Food not very nice at all. Chopped up chips covered in garlic powder for 'garlic potatoes', garlic mushrooms were like rubber (either tinned or frozen) again with garlic powder. We had to ask for parmesan cheese and pepper. Never again 😒

Got served by Leon today who was very friendly and polite giving great service throughout our visit. Would recommend visiting here.

Had a lovely tapas meal here last night, the staff were very efficient and we were served quickly, the food was tasty and we will be back again.

Nice enough restaurant but not great food for the price paid (5 dishes and a bottle of wine was £70). Some dishes were ok (meat balls) but others (calamari) were poor. Waiter made our visit worthwhile but tips still added at the end. Over busy and over priced for what you get but wine helped!

Waited 1 hour to get a drink, only a drink. And then another 45mins to get my food. Unorganized service, take whatever table you want. No reception.

The service was pretty bad. Long waiting for the food and it wasn’t good enough for the wait. Pizza was so hard for my niece to eat. Not worth it to dine in.

Really great value for money at £12.99 for 3 dishes. Especially when compared to McDonald's or KFC. Not authentic quality but absolutely worth the money 👍

Looks like it has so much potential. Sorely mistaken. Rude staff, long long wait times. No one gave us cutlery or plates. And then just ignored us. Food was ok, but not good enough to make up for the waitress and waiters unfortunately.. would not re visit.

Very bland and poor quality food and customer service. The carbonara was tasteless and very watery. Tomato garlic bread tasted strange and was rock hard, another pasta dish came out stone cold and the kids didn't like their food either. We raised our concerns with the manager to which we were asked 'so what do you want me to do about it? You've ordered the most basic dish on our menu. What did you expect?' Very unprofessional response. Left this restaurant hungry and went to eat elsewhere. Would not recommend and certainly will not be returning!

Came here with my mum thought it would be nice the food came cold and was very bland and tasteless . When we got home we was not well threw up and was really ill. The water gave us the wrong bill and didn’t ask if the meal was ok.

Enjoyed my meal here. Lovely food and nice service. Ordered 8 dishes and mixed and matched. Was enough to feed 3 people. Loved the veggies. The ice cream and brownie desert looked nice and I watched my mum eat it with jealousy as I can't have it. Mojitos was nice 👌

Tasty food and fantastic service, good selection of dishes including vegetarian at great price. Small plates so it's good to mix and match and share. Child friendly. Lots of parking. Clean, accessible restaurant. Waitress Eliza was very professional and attentive.

Awful customer service, was ignored when waiting 5 minutes for a table, the food came and was cold and not even nice. The bill came to £13.70, I gave the staff member £20 and he returned with only five pound change. Awful service.

Sorry to say that the food was below average. Devoid of any flavour whatsoever. Everything was bland. The only thing on the menu that had an ounce of flavour was the spicy meatball. The only place we could get during a busy period and now we know why. Service and atmosphere were good. But since you’re there for food. Massively let down. Would avoid at all costs.

It was late afternoon on a Saturday and we were starving. For two people you'd need 3 meals of the card, at least. It's not the most authentic Italien food but it serves well. Large menu, small portions but comparatively inexpensive. The staff could do better. Can't say if it was one of those days or they usually act busier than they actually are. We had to remind the server THRICE for a lemonade!

Me and my friend thought we’d found a lovely place to take my mum to eat, turns out they were more bothered about how busy it looked over serving the customers. We had to ask to be served any drink or food after half an hour of being seated. The food was horrible- we received one wrong meal and the rest of the food was poorly cooked and mediocre. My food was dry and tasteless and my friends was disgusting and left her feeling Ill all while my mother got 4 miniature shrimps. Wouldn’t recommend and the service didn’t make up for it either.

We've entered the restaurant at around 7:15pm and ordered the food at around 7:25pm, but even after waiting for literally almost an hour none of the fricking food had arrived. Everyone nearby who had arrived even later than us had long gotten their food and some even nearly finished. We had even asked about the food arrival several times, but to no avail. Lots of time wasted. Awful service. Worst restaurant we've ever been. No second chance.

The service is really bad, the tall guy ( between 30-40 yo) was kinda rude, I asked him if you have a normal pizza and he was like ( you not seeing on the menue ? Of you want something else there is plenty restaurants next door, and he left me. I didn’t have another choice, I jest left the restaurant. I was so excited to try it :(

I visited Pesto at the Trafford Centre in early 2024. Overall feel was the service was good but the food wasn’t that good and the vibe inside the restaurant was tired and dated. Positives: my server was genuine, helpful and wanted to make sure my food was good. Took my feedback directly to the kitchen. Apéros was well made and food turned around was timely. The Caesar salad was temperament and well made, while the pasta was made well. Opportunity for improvement: there is no salt and pepper anywhere in the restaurant and you don’t get offered pecorino or parm to add to pasta dishes which was annoying. The bruschetta was tomatoes and basil with no olive oil, which is just a sacrilege. Overall, I would be unlikely to return and would not recommend from this experience.

FOOD WAS COLD! - I came to Pesto a few weeks ago with my Mum for dinner, despite her warning me she had been here not long ago and not had a good experience (same issue as this time) but I said we’d try it. The staff were friendly however when the food arrived, it was poorly cooked and cold. We ordered a few dishes and none of them were hot. We decided not to say anything to the staff as my Mum had done this on her previous visit and they didn’t do anything about it so she said not to bother again. I have been to various Pesto restaurants over the years however it seems to have gone down hill which is so disappointing!

I hadn't been to Pesto for years (been abroad), but the experience was very good. The food was tasty & served quickly, plus the prices are reasonable. The cherry on the cake was our waiter, Everton. He was pleasant, polite, good fun & everything a good waiter should be. Top rank.

Had to wait 40 minutes for the food, then when it came the lasagne was so small and cold and the pepperoni pizza was so hard couldn't cut it with a knife and fork so had 2 pick it up with my hands to eat it and I nearly broke a couple of my teeth it was that hard, had a bad stomach since and been sick a couple of times, sorry I won't be eating from there again, never felt so ill

Food and Atmosphere were lovely and service was quick. However, the waitress we had by the name of Stef was very rude to us. She did not seem to be happy serving us, even though it’s her job, and wouldn’t even let me have my bottle of water on the table. And could not do simple maths of splitting our bill equally in half and very rudely said to us ‘I can not do it you do it’.

It was a new experience. Never been anywhere serving mini food plates 😁 but I liked the idea and enjoyed trying new dishes at once. Overall it was a good experience but would I go there again? Maybe but not anytime soon. Btw the staff are great too, they work so hard and they were very attentive.

Have been to this restaurant many times but the last 2 times the food just has not been up to the good standard we are used to here. Visited about 1.30pm today and ordered the bread and balsamic vinegar to start and then 6 dishes from the lunch menu. The 6 dishes came out and we were asked if everything was ok and had to remind the server that we had ordered the bread for starters so eventually received our bread after the mains. The bread was quite hard and possibly stale. The 6 dishes were not the best quality and my daughter has come home and been sick - this is all she has eaten today. We also observed our server who seemed to be extremely busy ask for assistance to carry a couple of trays of drinks and 2 of your staff who were chatting, turn and look at her, turn back, start laughing and carrying on chatting leaving her to run back and to. As there are many other restaurants in the Trafford Centre I’m sorry to say I will be trying other places in future.

We loved trying the different tapas dishes, every one of them was a good size and delicious. The menu is huge and has so many veggie options. The waitress was really friendly. The lunch menu was great and really reasonably priced.

Excellent in every way. The set meal with 3 small plates was brilliant. We ordered another three not because we were hungry but because the food was so tasty. Simple food, fresh and beautifully cooked. And it was fast and friendly. And the price of £12.95 for three dishes was fantastic. Make sure to get the vegetables, the mushrooms and the potatoes!

Would say it is a great place to dine in if being at Trafford Centre. Internal decorations and design make the feelings of being at Italy gallery stuff. Foods are good and small size so can do the style of tapas - sharing between friends and having more tastes.😊

Saturday evening, 6pm. 5 minute wait for a table for 3 (2 adults and a baby). Good quality food, excellent service. £70 for 9 small dishes, cocktail, 2 beers, coffee and dessert. Excellent value

Best food I've had at a restaurant in a long time. We were served by Mehmet and he did this with a lot of enthusiasm, really someone with a heart for the business. The food was truly excellent.

Visited 20/04/24 . Extremely poor service ,waited 50 mins from ordering for the food to arrive only ordered four dishes so not a big order . The waiter was useless despite being asked about the food did not chase up . Pesto is usually our go to place but not anymore , although the food was OK we were that hungry we just wolfed it down so didn't appreciate it.

Went there 12/4/2024 as a break from shopping. We had three small plates each and the food was piping hot and was excellent. Service and attentiveness by Zuza was spot on. Contrary to some other reviews we have always had a very good experience here.

Went in, sat down, walked straight out. The waitress was unwelcoming and didn't even say a word when she took us to the table. Just put the menus down and walked off. Seriously?

Don’t get me wrong the food was Devine, but it somehow must of been uncooked, cause a few hours at home I was throwing up everywhere and that’s the only meal I had all day. The staff were so lovely but the food do not go there, it’s nice but I’m now paying the price, if you do want to eat here I don’t recommend getting the spaghetti bolognaise.

been here a few times but this was my last. As soon as me and my group sat down the waiter told us we had to order soon as the kitchen was about to close, but if it was closing why accept us in the first place? Then a waiter took our orders put it through the till and came back to double check all the food was correct as we were a group of 9, everything was correct apart from a dish that was missing but then the waiter went to the kitchen and supposedly told the chef about the missing dish. Everyone’s food came and that one dish that was missing hadn’t come with the rest of the food so we called the same waiter and he said he would check the kitchen, everyone starts to eat and the dish still hadn’t arrived, by this time everyone was practically finished and we called the waiter to check were the missing dish was as it had been well over 15 mins for ONE small dish, the waiter proceeded to head to the kitchen then came to our table and said look about your dish would you still like it as our kitchen is closing and blah blah blah, like how can one even have the balls to come back asking that? with that being said the dish was no longer wanted as it felt as although if the person who’s dish it was for still wanted it to be made the kitchen staff would of probably spat in it because it seemed like they weren’t bothered. As a group we just felt like they just couldn’t wait to close the restaurant and go home which I mean makes us customers feel unwanted not to mention we came to celebrate a birthday so that’s just the cherry on top cause I mean we could tell they didn’t want to serve us but anyway. Will not be returning as the service has really gone downhill personally I think we could have been handled with a little more respect, did not pay service charge because the service was not the best. Will not be returning and would not and will not recommend to anyone.

Lunch menu available. The dishes are served in the form of tapas, 3 choices to be selected from a list of dishes. Half of the menus were without much flavor, lacked seasonings or lacked sauce. However, the service was top notch.

Pesto restaurant at Trafford Centre in Manchester is great for a casual night out. The food is delicious and the service is spot on. Natalia was great with her customer service talent and is an excellent asset to Pesto.

We had dinner in pesto from the set menu and the food was delicious! Really tasty and lots of variety. Our waiter Natalia was absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more attentive and pleasant. A great experience!

Had a wonderful experience. Came here for a date night and we had Sandra looking after us. We waited a little while for a table but it was Saturday night so was expected. We was sat at our table in a very busy restaurant. Sandra was so delightful and helpful when ordering our food. She recommended us her favourite dishes and how many to order. Late afternoon so a bit dead. Ordered kids pasta with butter, but no butter available so had plain pasta. Kid pasta with tomato sauce, was second option. Past was coated with sauce but that was it, no sauce to mop up and barely any taste. I ordered the 6 inch goats cheese pizza, pathetic amount of topping and cold, to be honest didnt look that fresh. Was offered replacement but told it would look no different as goats cheese was cooked. Yes it was cooked but looked as though it had been left and become translucent. That said the arancini and ceaser salad were ok. The waitress was good though very attentive and apologetic for something that wasnt her fault.

The restaurant was lovely inside, it felt as though we'd found just the right place for our lunch. The service was excellent and Mehmet was very helpful with the choice of our 3 tapas dishes, which we really enjoyed! We were surprised but delighted with the size of these too, as we had been thinking they may be small. They certainly weren't! So, thank you Pesto and particularly Mehmet. We will be back!

Going downhill pretty fast I think. Used to be a nice place to eat but.. after today's experience we won't be going back. Where do I begin... Tables and decor are very dated the chair I sat on had legs so wobbly i thought I was on some sort of ride 😂, then waited over an hour for food to be served, when it was served after we chased them and they realised they messed up the order the food was mediocre. Won't be coming back im afraid. Its valentine's day , atmosphere was terrible no music/candle etc etc poor effort
