Tre Ciccio in Trafford

We held our daughters birthday dinner at Tre Ciccio Altrincham on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were fantastic, very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. We had a variety of meals, including pizza and pasta. All were full of flavour, and enjoyed by everyone.

Not been for a while, had the set menu food was great and service excellent.

Great food service and atmosphere. Really reasonably priced fixed winter menu. Will definitely be back.again.

Lovely evening at Tre Ciccio. The food was fantastic, and the set menu deal was excellent value. We went for a birthday celebration and the staff noticed the birthday badges and brought over free ice cream and limoncello. Would definitely go back.

We went to Tre Ciccio for the NYE party and we weren’t disappointed, the food picky bits were so tasty and left us the full up, went down well with the amazing cocktails. Live music on was brill, atmosphere was really relaxed and personal, not too busy. Massive thanks to the staff there they were all really lovely, defo be back again soon 😁

Good mains, if slightly pricey.

Firstly I cant understand previous negative reviews about the service...I found the staff top notch. I ended up here on a snowy Monday night after a service disaster at the Crown Plaza Manchester airport...I walked out of there after 25 mins waiting for a bottle of water, let alone ordering food!! After waking down the stairs to the tardis like main room, the super friendly lady showed me to a table....2 mins later a bottle of water was on the table. Driving to the place I hoped they had trofie pasta, result on looking at the menu. Ordered trofie and a salad, 15 mins later I was in pasta heaven. Super food, super service I'll be back everytime I'm staying at Manchester airport

We visited for a family occasion and were a little underwhelmed by the food. Starters went well of a tomato garlic bread and prawn bruschetta however the main course was underwhelming. My son went for a meat feast pizza and found the meat tough. My wife and I ordered the chicken carbonara and found it dry. It is cooked with a carbonara sauce but found ourselves requesting an extra pot of carbonara sauce as the dish was dry. Staff were attentive however. Bit of a shame.

Terrible place. They don't take cash and don't sell drinks, waste of time order food in one place, then go to stall to get a drink. Altrincham market is over rated ..

What a hidden gem, looks nothing from the outside but lovely seating area downstairs, I understand in summer the roof opens up. Visited Saturday late afternoon. 4 adults & 7 kids, staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Pasta from the specials menu was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Have not had the opportunity to try the food which sound delicious and great level but I went to the restaurant today to ask about an event they were going to have with Moss Pottery which me and my boyfriend were very excited to try. When we went in, we saw a man behind the counter who didn't say anything to us when we came in, which alredy fell rude to begin with. Nevertheless, I went closer to the counter, and he started looking at me. The person seated down in a corner, with his headphones still on and a frown, barely acknowledged my presence. I still tried to make an enquiry about their event , to which he replied, "The pottery place is upstairs." No help was given, no anything. I would have been OK if at least said good morning or "sorry if I can't help" anything but the rude feelings of indifference towards customers. I hope one day I can go again and try the food and maybe get better customer service. Also, sorry to Moss Pottery, which was no fault that I received information about one of their colabe events from someone that clearly was not in a great mood to be working mornings. Hopefully, this review will not represent everyone's experience, but I thought it was important to share how my boyfriend and I felt overlooked.

We were at the restaurant to see how it faired prior to booking a larger table for ourselves and friends in October . The service was great and our food was delicious, however we feel we need a resturant that serves gluten / diary free food for our friends needs so will be looking else where . But for us as a couple we shall be back ..

Really good Pizza, just a bit too burnt

Lovely people working here, therefore service is always amazing. Food is great, really reminds me of real italian food. They have a vegan menu and a kids menu, both with loads of options to pick from. We always go back with family and children.

We visited for dinner on Sunday 28th July. We had an overall fantastic experience. Service quick and friendly. Standard of food excellent for all three courses. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back soon.

Immaculate dining experience. Very high standard Italian food, good selection. Staff were very polite, not pushy, and attentive at all the right times.

Nothing special, apart from the Tardis like space. Food we had was a bit dry and tasted microwaved. Maybe the pizzas are better. Worst thing was the service. Inattentive and too cool for school.

We went for Sunday Lunch with our son and his family at his recommendation. It is a lovely Italian restaurant with both inside and covered terrace eating. We sat outside under the retractable awning. The Menu Choice and standard of food was excellent- as was the service. Can really recommend.

Absolute gem in the heart of Altrincham! Looks small from the outside, but as you descend the staircase, the restaurant is large and spacious, but still has a cosy feel. Super efficient service from the lovely staff. I had vegan pizza, which was the best pizza I've had in the UK. Loved that they had mocktails too. Can't wait to return!

Really nice restaurant. Good location near the station. A beautiful terrace area but unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get the full experience. The food was superb and beautifully presented. Will be back when im in the area again

We recently had dinner at Tre Cicio, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was amazing—cozy, welcoming and buzzing with good energy. The food was incredible. One of our favorite dishes was the ravioli lobster - it was out of this world! Every bite was packed with flavor, and we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Their kindness and great service really added to the overall experience. We’re definitely planning to go back again and would highly recommend Tre Cicio to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

It's a lovely place, which makes good use of its floor space, the open air section which has a powered canopy allows for protected airy dining. More importantly the food is excellent, as is the service.

My wife had the lobster ravioli, fresh tested of the sea. I had a calzone, beautiful aswell 😍

Enter through the modest street-level entrance and descend the stairs to discover one of Alty's finest dining gems. As you sit in the sunlit 'conservatory' section, you're whisked away to what feels like Italy. The pizza here is exceptional, and for those in search of diversity, the menu offers delightful pasta dishes and a variety of Italian-style vegan selections, each crafted with care. Everything is beautifully prepared and genuinely Italian. The expertise is evident, and one can only hope they continue their culinary excellence.

Heard a lot about this place, so wanted to try it as a tester as have a celebration coming up soon (12 people), so we were excited to experience this restaurant. So we booked a table on line earlier in the week to go Saturday 4:30 pm. We arrived and a young lady showed us to a table for two stuck away in a corner with hardly any space to move in or out,on the covered terrace, although there were plenty of other tables available in the central part of the restaurant, we asked for an alternative table and was pointed to a similar small table in the middle area of the terrace. We asked for a bigger table as it was still early afternoon/ evening but these were the only two the waiting on staff wanted to offer. Tbh they seemed very disinterested and had what felt like a couldn’t be bother attitude. So unfortunately our own interest in the place evaporated and we promptly left. Suffice is to say we will not be having our family celebration at this establishment. We ended up going round the corner to Coco’s where we were welcomed with open arms, treated with respect and enjoyed an excellent meal with superb customer service and guess what we have booked our family meal for 12 with them.

Met friend for lunch - first time there and it was great. Lovely space and staff were so good - food was lovely and well priced.

We booked a table here on Friday night for a large group. The restaurant is really nice inside and staff were on it despite being busy. The food was really good, I had a mushroom starter and pizza. Our group had a selection of pizza, pasta, chicken and everyone enjoyed their meals. Would recommended!!

Very disappointing, this place has gone down hill. Staff unfriendly and food low quality. Find toilets dirty and not well maintained. Unfortunate it used to be a nice place but not anymore.

We went last Saturday night for an amazing meal...! The service was friendly and professional, from start to finish, it was always a waitress around and the Manager came over to greet us as he did in all of the tables The atmosphere was really nice, a bit busy but really nice..! Always a pleasure to dine here. It’s just round the corner from us and our favourite in Altrincham. Went when they had just introduced a new menu which was fab. The food is always excellent and the waiting staff are professional but great fun too. Always a great buzzy atmosphere. Will continue to visit with friends and family. Definitely recommended by us regulars

My daughter visited with a 4 friends tonight, she had pizza sud and 2-3 hrs after she arrived home we have been battling with horrendous adverse effects from food poisoning for the last 7 hours. In the past, lots of us have been there, numerous times but tonight someone did not wash the greens ie basil that top the pizza? Or not wash theirs wash handling them? cause we got a nora virus infection. Do they wash raw food/vegetables before topping the pizza? Do they clean properly and watch cross contamination? Do they rinse surfaces or utensils etc after applying cleaning products? Were the toppings “expired”? I actually wanted to let the restaurant know by private email of that DANGEROUS experience tonight and to ask them to be vigilant in cleaning and washing products thoroughly as well as their hands when handling raw vegetables and greens and address possible cross contamination, but they do not have that option anywhere on their website.

Food was amazing. Although we booked the meal a few weeks in advance, they sent us a menu but served us a different one as it changed on the day of us going. The manager was rude, he was interrupting the server multiple times when she was doing an outstanding job. He made our time a lot harder when a newish server made it easy, and by the time we left it seemed he told her off for going out of her way to make a our time as good and easy as possible. He shouldn’t be in charge of a successful restaurant. Leah the server, was perfect. She went above and beyond for us. We can’t thank you enough!

Good venue, especially on a Saturday night in Altrincham as virtually always has room for +4 people. Was busy but managed to get seats for five of us at this warm and friendly Italian restaurant. Great pizzas at around £12 each, far cheaper and tastier than this at the Market which I always complain are over cooked and have long waiting times in their cramped venue. Visit Tre Ciccio which is a wonderful venue. My only downside was the outside appearance which needs tidied up, being full of old furniture and rotting wood isn't a good visual appearance. As the weather is warming up this isn't an acceptable waste of space when always on view from the diners visiting the venue.

The food, service and atmosphere were lovely. It was around 15-16 pound for a pizza. The spicy roast chicken was excellent and a decent size. That was 19 pounds at the moment. I would highly recommend this place.

I visited on Thursday night, had the carnivora pizza and suffered from severe food poisoning symptoms approx., 3hrs after the meal. Only just beginning to recover. Did not eat anything out of the ordinary that day, apart from the meal at this restaurant.

Gone down hill over the last few years. Was once our favourite place. Food is average and service poor.

A few coworkers had dinner there and the pizzas are very good and cost about €15-€20, those who ordered something else had dinner for about €25, the place is very good, it has the dining room on the ground floor, which I say because from the street it seems small. In conclusion, a place I would return to.

Great food but really bad service, to the point I wouldn’t go back / recommend. Waiting staff were slow, unfriendly and incredibly dismissive. If you’re unbothered by the atmosphere / service, the food is good.

Very disappointed. I have been here a year ago and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, this time was different. Very unfriendly staff, felt like they didn't care. Pizzas were soggy, bruschetta was a slice of bread with tomatoes on top. There was dance music playing loudly and it was freezing cold. Not the warm, inviting environment we would expect of an authentic Italian restaurant.

This used to be such a fabulous restaurant but it's gone so down hill. Obnoxious and unfriendly staff, pizzas are dreadful, never coming here again that's for sure.

Descend the stairs from the unprepossessing street level entrance, and you will find one of the best restaurants in Alty. Sitting in the ‘conservatory’ area, with the sun shining, you feel transported somewhere else entirely (Italy, hopefully!) The pizza is terrific, there are also a few pasta or Italian-style roast chicken dishes if you want something different. All beautifully done and authentically Italian. They know exactly what they’re doing here, and I hope they keep on doing it, indefinitely.

I’ve been in Tre Ciccio to have a dinner with my boyfriend and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food! The staff was very friendly and attentive.I would recommend it if you want to try the authentic Neapolitan pizza!

The food was ok. The pasta dishes are tiny and a main dish is tiny. Had a calzone and it was very average. Pretty disappointing.

Visited two years ago and had a great experience. However, visited this evening for a special birthday meal and it was bland and tasteless. I ordered a lasagne from the set menu and was extremely disappointed, indeed. The outer edgings of the food were luke warm and the centre was cold- I did not make a fuss because it was a friend’s birthday but I would not recommend this place and I also agree with regards to passive aggressive service, referred to in another recent comment made on Trip Advisor. We had a female server who was miserable and rude. Will not be visiting again.

What a lovely restaurant. It looks from the road like it's going to be a tiny little 10 seat restaurant, but go downstairs and it's a really nice, open, warm space. We had lunch, and the food was absolutely brilliant. Their pizza is one of the best I've ever had, and according to my partner her ravioli was delicious. The staff were attentive and really friendly, the atmosphere was great, the food was amazing.. will happily return in future. If you're in the area, you should 100% check it out.

Went to order take-out pizzas. Approached member of staff hiding behind pizza boxes looking at his phone. He told me to go downstairs. I said I wanted takeout. He shouted 'What!? Takeaway!?' So he rang a bell. I said 'Do I wait here or go downstairs?' No reply. Just kept ringing the bell. Eventually a waitress came up, took my order and payment. Apparently first guy can't be trained to hand out menus. Had Margherita and Tricolore pizza. Margherita was OK - Tricolore had a large ball of cold cheese dropped in the centre after pizza was cooked. Should this not be broken up - and cooked? As it was - cheese was cold and bland - had to leave most of it. I have a feeling the guy did this deliberately. Was giving this place a go instead of Dominos. Silly me.

Arrived early on a Friday afternoon … not busy but still tried to seat us next to a four year old birthday party 🤷🏻‍♂️ Moved us to another table but still not the best enough though it was no where near full 🤷🏻‍♂️ Food ok but pizza did not live up to expectations… bland and doughy 🥲 not wood fired Pizza?? Starters and pud were good 👍🏻 Found the manager to be passive aggressive and was not too kind when we left 🤷🏻‍♂️ Wanted to charge us 10% service charge …already charged on the bill Would I go again …. No probably not

Atmosphere and service are great, Calamari was good, pizza superb, the limoncello cheesecake…..well it had all the taste and consistency of a Sara Lee frozen dessert….shame as it let the meal down.

The pizza however was grim I couldn't taste the fennel in the sausage; bland cheese and the topping covered only 50% of the pizza leaving a wide edge of wood fired but tasteless dough. However, the real horror was the burnt and slimy broccoli on top and I can say that I have not tasted anything as poor in a long time.

I booked a table for 16 for my daughter’s birthday party and asked specifically about wheelchair access for a member of our party. I was assured they could accommodate us. However, there is no way of accessing the restaurant in a wheelchair. I emailed the manager to discuss this with them before leaving a review, to give them the opportunity to consider what my friend had to go through to be seated. They did not reply to me, therefore I’m leaving this review. The food was nice, not exceptional, but it should be clear on the website that the only way in to the restaurant is by steps and clearly staff need educating.

We went to Tre Ciccio for a family lunch. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our tables. The service was excellent and the food matched! Would recommend!

I like the food though it may not be considered 100% Italian because it concedes to the British tastes. Chicken and pasta are very good. Pizza is better than in most other places I have been. Service is great, and the place is nice (may be a bit noisy when overcrowded like on a Friday). Some of the waiters are Italian so they know what to recommend.

Had the chicken however, what was served was not recognisable as any obvious part of the chicken, such as leg or breast. It seems to be the scraggy end of the chicken, with a wing attached. Hardly any meat, mostly bones so actually quite unsatisfying – I’m sure it’s a very cheap part of the chicken to buy in and it provides what looks like a substantial meal but in fact isn’t. Poor value. For a restaurant promoting itself as selling chicken as a specialty not great. Had profiteroles for dessert - they were stale so sent them back. Service was good.

Not busy. After food arrived we never saw a waiter until we asked for the bill. Charged £2 for anchovies, there were only 2 on the luke warm soggy pizza. £5 for tiny portion of fries. No service. Waste of money, won't be going back.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but the service here was so poor from who looked like a manager! Was sat on a table for 2 squashed next to a table of 4 so moved to an identical table next to it. This manager then stared at us and rudely pointed to our original table before slamming down a reserved sign on the table. Our waitress was lovely but im a server myself and bad service especially from a manager really frustrates me! Left before even ordering. Bad experience

What fabulous restaurant! Definitely my new favourite in the village. Very friendly & cosy environment. I ordered the lasagne upon recommendation & it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! Also would highly encourage everyone to try to tiramisu for desert- it’s delicious, will be coming again!

My family loves this place. Came on a Saturday lunch time. Atmosphere was good no blaring music just really chill. Staff were great and the food was amazing. We had one of the pizzas to share and it tasted just like our last trip to Italy, the lobster ravioli was amazing and the sauce was heavenly. We also had a roast chicken dish and potatoes to share which again was excellent. Only second visit here but will be our regular visit for Italian food.

Altys version of Pizza Express but with higher prices. Pack them in, serve them quick, get them out. Pizza ok but nothing special, pasta portion very stingy and starters/sides generally poor. Website seems to suggest an authentic Italian type bistro which it definitely isn't.

i visited Tre Ciccio on Saturday night, i thought the interior and ambiance was very good, the staff were VERY attentive and helpful, which is good to see, i personally had some garlic bread and some cheesy garlic bread, however - where was the garlic?, i didn't taste any, so that was not good! I also had the Calzone, and again all i tasted was the bread base over the filling, which again was a bit disappointing! However i will return one day and try again - just remember the garlic and the toppings! \:O]

Great service, real Italian feel. Menu wasn’t as broad as I expected and would have thought the basics pasta with basil sauce would have been better on the menu. The Bruschetta pomodoro should have finely chopped tomatoes, not half sliced. They all fell off the bread??? The ravioli was wonderful. The atmosphere was great and it was deceiving walking in to a small space then going downstairs to a large restaurant!! Marks out of ten:7/10 and that’s a great mark. As an Italian I know if a restaurant has great potential. Just a few improvements to the menu and it will be excellent. Well done. I will be back.

I had a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. The place is beautiful: it is in an old building and the décor is very pleasant. I have known this restaurant for many years but I must say that lately, the food standards have drastically dropped. We had some arancini which were quite good, followed by an appaling pizza. It speaks volume when an italian restaurant cannot make a good pizza any more. The pastry was soggy and the pizza was just cheap looking and tasteless. The wine (1 Pino Grigio and 1 Chianti) were of really low quality. I appreciate that dogs are part of families and I have nothing against them at all in restaurants but when they are huge and smelly, it is not pleasant to eat next to them. The restaurant should be more careful about where they sit families with big dogs when their other customers, who arrived 1st, might feel uncomfortable. Very pricey for what it is!

Popped in twice in last month, both times without a reservation and was accommodated without fuss despite the restaurant being busy on both occasions. Food and drink are both very reasonably priced and delicious with generous portions. Great setting in lovely old building with plenty of privacy. Very happy experience on both occasions.
