Visited this restaurant thinking it’s going to be a nice place to eat looking at the aesthetic and the menu. I was wrong ! Staff was so rude there was a lady serving us sighing and laughing with other colleagues when asked if the food was halal or if a certain dish had no alcohol the service was so bad ! i asked for the bill and got passed over a receipt we said we are paying cash and she walked off in a puff and proceeded to clean tables whilst we waited with the cash in our hands. I therefore spoke to a manager and she was lovely she gave us £10 off although we didn’t ask for this discount and it wasn’t worth the horrible service definitely won’t be back. My friend also had a bad experience and walked out half way through a meal because of the rudeness but thought i’d give it a chance! save your money and go to pizza express it’s better food :)

Dined here Sunday 16/02/25 at 6pm. Warm greeting, small queue to get in due to short staffing. Restaurant was clean and the table and chairs felt new and sturdy. Nothing worse than a wobbly table! Drinks took a few minutes to appear, but browsed the menu in the mean time. Menu isn’t huge, which is a really good thing. Kids menu was great. £8.25 for a starter, main, pudding and a drink. Both our 10 and 5 year old’s ate off this and were stuffed! Portion size was great. Main menu items weren’t the cheapest, but I paid for what I received here. Food arrived well-presented, tasted great and we ate the lot! 2 adults with a starter and a main each, 2 kids set menu’s and drinks for £75. Couldn’t complain and wouldn’t want to! Service was lovely and friendly, everybody had a smile on their face and it didn’t look forced. Seems like a laid back place and I’d definitely go back. I don’t typically leave feedback for places online, but I felt quite compelled to leave a nice review today to highlight a nice evening.

The food waiting time is not long, and the prices are reasonable. The food portions are enough and taste great. I recommend trying the calamari. The risotto would be better if it were less salty. Additionally, the restaurant has a convenient restroom inside.

One of the worst meals I've ever had in my life booked for valentines and ruined the mood for the entire night because of how expensive and rubbish the food was, my spaghetti bolognase was pasta water and oil basically with no actual meat and my gfs carbonara had no actual taste at all, and the waiter was an older woman and was incredibly rude and just seemed like she wanted to get us away as quick as possible, used to come here as a kid and it was great, now wouldn't ever recommend. Ruined valentines completely. £40 for food that was not even average the best part cocktail and that's it

We had a lovely meal at EST. The service was warm and welcoming, with staff who were attentive without being intrusive. Particular thanks to Connor who has great customer service skills . The food was delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Margarita pizza and Arrabiatta followed by a delicious tiramisu and fruit meringue . The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great place to unwind with friends over a good meal. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for great Italian food in The Trafford Centre at a reasonable price

We have dined at a few places in the Orient at Trafford Centre and this was the best! We had Polpette (meatballs/pasta) and it was perfectly prepared and served by helpful and very friendly staff. 😁

Est is a fantastic restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Katie, our waitress, was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. I can’t wait to visit again!

Nice friendly greeting, sat quickly. Ordered Capra pizza with a couple of additional toppings, Amatriciana pasta and 2 beers which all came quickly. Food was very tasty and hot and was good value for a bill of under £40. Only negative was Pizza size has shunk slightly to previous visits.

Decided to try this place for the first time after a long day of work and travelling whilst stopping off in Manchester. I had the cheesy garlic bread and meatball starters as mains and my partner had the lasagna. Was impressed with the size of the portions, we couldn’t finish it all between us. The food was great, service was amazing. Louis did a great job, he was very friendly and honestly made it the best meal out we’d had in a while. Next time we’re in Manchester, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Food was horrible. Not proper Italian food! No San Pellegrino water (come on, it's suppose to be Italian 🤌). No one came to check if we enjoyed the food. We didn't eat it and they brought us the bill without us asking if anything was wrong. Bad service. And the restaurant was cold. We left the food like this on the table and paid a full bill. Atleast the wine was ok.

We arrived as a party of 6 (plus a pram) on a busy Saturday afternoon, but staff worked to seat us as quickly as they could and they were all very accommodating and full of smiles which made us feel comfortable. There is a children’s menu with plenty of options at £8.95 for main, dessert and drink. I ordered the bolognese and my husband ordered the lasagne with added parmesan, we were both in heaven eating our meals and the portions for both adults and kids are very generous so you won’t be left hungry! We had just enough room for brownies for dessert and they were gorgeous. Our waitress was also really lovely and she was laughing with my daughter and niece so they felt extra welcome. A family of very happy customers indeed. Definitely recommend to families with young children.

Went to the restaurant with 3 friends on Saturday night.We all thought the food was amazing and the waitress Katie made the whole night fantastic. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.Lovely setting and enjoyed the full experience of dining in a great restaurant.

My family and I visited Est in Trafford Centre, and Katie and Luce made our experience unforgettable. They were so friendly, kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This was a good meal reasonably priced with very good service. The food was well presented, cooked well and very tasty. The service was particularly good with very friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend.

Honestly, i can say this is the best Italian restaurant i’ve been to. Food was so amazing we all ordered seconds and took every bit home. Connor was our server and made sure the food was to our liking and expectations. I usually go to this restaurant everytime I visit Manchester.. however I made a reservation and was refused entry by Roxanne with no valid reason as I had a booking confirmation and tables where empty she welcomed us by saying “ we are not taking you in” I’m still in disbelief and have emailed the restaurant directly and awaiting a response.

Last time we came I would give it a 5 star, however upon this visit, the server was glued to her tablet while taking the order, not looking at us once. The food was okay however the pizza was underdone on the bottom, flopping very easily and becoming chewy because of it. The lasagne was a little on the burnt side however it was still nice. We then had to wait 5-10 before the lady came over to hand us the bill where I mentioned the criticism which wasn’t really taken on board

The staff is rude, we’ve been waiting to pay for 15 minutes. When we asked our waiter if we can pay, she looked at us up and down saying “i’m busy, wait please “ the last impression as a restaurant you get when a customer pays a bill, and it was nowhere close to satisfying.

Service was just awful. The waiter never smiled and was mumbling all the time. It took ages for us to get the bill and after that the girl just disappeared. She had an attitude and was rude when we asked if we can pay the bill. It ruined the whole experience

I have been here a few times but my last experience was the one that will make me never come back again,waited 35min to be served and more 25min just for the bottle of wine to come already open to my table,manager doesn’t even bother with customers and always has a stupid excuse when asked for some help, as a business owner I really believe this place management needs a change, I have always enjoyed here but will never again recommend this place!

5 stars for the employer that helped to clean up the mess made outside of the restaurant last night. A girl dropped a bottle of perfume and all the glass shattered on the ground. The employer did not hesitate a second and started to remove the glass pieces while the girl who dropped the perfume started to walk away.

I visited this restaurant as my daughter had previously been with friends and enjoyed the food. We were greeted with a smile by a lovely waitress called Amber. She was polite and welcoming and seated us almost instantly. We were then served by a friendly and polite gentleman called Louis/Lewis. The food was delicious, came in great time and was well presented. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff gave 100% customer service and the food just topped it off for a perfect afternoon meal! Would recommend dining here and can’t wait to visit again.

My wife and I called into EST, The Orient, Trafford Centre for a mid afternoon meal. As we had not pre-booked a table we had to queue for 20 minutes before we were allocated a table. This was not a problem as we knew we would get a good meal as we had eaten here before. We passed on starters and chose Prawn Risotto and Meatballs (Polpette) for mains together with a bottle of water and a glass of fresh orange juice. Both meals were very good as always: hot, tasty and filling. The bill came to just over £34 so £39 with a tip. Worth a visit if you are shopping at the Trafford Centre but be warned that it does get busy if you are a walk in guest. Better to pre-book a table if you can.

What was a nice place to eat has sadly lost its edge. Menu very simple & food not up to old standard. Asked for a soft drink to start with & choice was limited. Food looked & tasted “mass produced”. One to be avoided.

Ordered ribeye steak and it was terrible every mouth full was just fat ,when spoke with man he said that's how a ribeye should be ,what a waste of £25.99 ,he really did not seem to care ,came home hungry, will never go again .

We visited Est on wednesday evening and our server Magda (i think her name was) she was so lovely and attentive and recommended her favourite dish to help us decide. She’s super chatty and friendly and is a credit to your team!

Myself and my wife went there to have some dinner and the staff ignored us completely and the restaurant wasn't even busy at all, they make us to wait at the entrance just to ignore us so I just have to walk away..I'm not happy with it..I'm not coming back again..

Very nice meal and was able to meet my dietary needs. I have gluten and dairy intolerance. So whilst the choices were limited, the food was delicious. Our server Magda was very helpful, attentive and checked all my requirements before we ordered.

Excelent service . Delicious pizza. Best kids menu with good portions and nicely presented dessert. Grand daughter loved hers.

The pan fried prawns in chilli, garlic,white wine and lobster sauce were absolutely fantastic I also had the house salmon salad and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning as soon as Possible!

Atmosphere is okay for a shopping mall at lunchtime not a place you would go for an evening meal. Chicken salad was very good. Sea bream a little too spicy. Not too busy but we had to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. If they had been full I could have accepted it but to see other couples getting food who had come in after us was disappointing. On balance we would not go there again

We ate here as the other restaurants were busy and had long waits. Because of this we thought maybe the restaurant is not too good if it isn’t busy. However, we thought the food quality was good and we enjoyed it. The drink size was larger than expected too. We ate a steak and a spaghetti dish and both were delicious. I imagine the wait for the service will probably get even longer if they get busier but since it wasn’t too busy the service was ok. The atmosphere was fairly pleasant, slightly crammed with tables and you are close to others but with the limited space I understand. Most restaurants have this. Lots of families so I imagine it’s a family friendly restaurant. Overall a fairly good experience with reasonable prices as well. I would go here again.

Came into Est last weekend after a long day of shopping. Lovely food and atmosphere, my partner and I both had the Lasagna it was absolutely delicious! Amber who sat us to our table was particularly lovely and welcoming. She gave us good recommendations for food…we will definitely return!

Nipped in for a quick dinner to save cooking later. Ordered lasagne. Don’t know about you but I expect meat in a lasagne, quite a bit of it to be fair. If there was a teaspoonful of meat in mine I’d be very surprised. Poor.

King prawns were floating in oil. Pasta was ok but, as with the starter, was floating in oil. Not great at all though drinks weren’t bad and were priced ok.

Honestly 1 star is kind. My friend found hair in her food. Ate about 1/4 of the meal by which point she didn’t want an entire meal remade as she wasn’t going to eat that…not that that was offered to us. We got a £5 discount on the food with hair in. No refund…? The service was shocking. We didn’t even receive an apology for the hair found and my friend left feeling unhappy. Wouldn’t recommend eating here to by honest.

My cousin, Charlotte and I, visited this establishment after a long day shopping for funeral clothes because our uncle died. To get away from the grief we thought we would whisk away to this cute Italian eatery. Nevertheless I wish I had died in place of our uncle instead of coming here. The service was shocking, no, ABYSMAL. The waitress was so rude we were waiting to order a side for 15 minutes when we were trying to talk to her and make eye contact to her. Additionally she was rude to a little child on the table next door to ours. We had to wait SO long to pay the bill. Understandably we didn’t think this service deserved to be tipped. However to our dismay when our waitress didn’t receive her tip, she looked disappointed. I am offended. As we run our own restaurant, we would never accept service like this. The food was also bland. My pasta was essentially what I could eat in student accommodation if I was skint but instead was overpriced. I hope justice is served as we WONT be returning.

Started off well , We were seated but that's about ad far as it went , 10 mind to get a menu and then sat for over 20mins and no drinks or order taken after asking twice if we could order we gave up and left, wasn't even that busy no kne waiting to be seated half tables empty no wonder really , staff were shocking no care for customer at all wouldn't be returning

The garlic bread was under cooked and a little too oily.Pasta had close to no flavour.Waiter gave us funny looks whilst putting the cheese on the pasta because we had a bit more cheese.

You don’t expect much when you eat at est est est other than university student grade food, but pls Trafford centre branch - Stop polishing cutlery out in the open restaurant. The constant clanging of metal on metal is absolutely awful. I’ve never seen a restaurant atmosphere ruined like at this place, the constant banging is insufferable.. if I could give -5 for atmosphere I would.

We ordered the 3 plate tapas options each. I always order a carbonara when it is on the menu and it was delicious, but slightly watery. The lasagne was absolutely fantastic though and I would return just to try that again! Good value for money and the food is filling.

Popped in Wednesday with my wife and daughter. Had to send my daughters chicken and veg back. It arrived cold and clearly reheated. The chicken wasn’t fresh and the veg were soggy. How on earth did someone think, “let’s serve this!”. I gave my daughter some of my salad, which was average and took her somewhere else after. Very very poor!

When queuing for a table, for atleast five minutes multiple members of staff walked past and didn’t even acknowledge that we were waiting, nevermind the fact that there was a queue behind us. However, Roxy who served us definitely made our experience much more positive. She was absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Food was perfect. Thank yo :)

I've been to the restaurant several times now, and I've never been disappointed with the food. The last time I went, besides the delicious meal, there was also fantastic service from our waitress named Magda. She was incredibly friendly and always had a smile on her face. It was a pleasure to chat with her. Additionally, she professionally recommended a meal that turned out to be exquisite. A solid 5+ for both the food and service!

The food here is genuinely pretty good, however, my meal had a small piece of plastic/rubber in it which I did actually begin to consume before realising what it was. I brought this up with the waiter and said what had happened but he didn’t seem overly surprised and took my plate away. About 5 minutes passed and he came back and said they’d take the dish off my bill. I’ve since contacted est to try and ascertain where the bit of rubber came from. As it went in my mouth I feel like I should at least be told where they believe it came from but I’ve had no response from them.

Booked online. Which Friday or Saturday in Trafford is a must! As 6 couples waiting as we left at 7.15pm! Loved loved the sharing board cold meats n cheese! My prawn risotto was lovely, very tasty. But the downfall was my daughter’s gnocchi was so bland she was not enjoying so we ended up sharing. I did not find gnocchi tasty at all. Even the consistency wasn’t great. Should be a tomato sauce not cream- with potato. It just doesn’t work. Gave our feedback to the waitress. Also had to ask for another glass as it was filthy. Waitresses were friendly and atmosphere was okay. Overall average. Just don’t order gnocchi!

What a lovely Italian treat we had today. Cheese garlic bread or should say large Pizza. My husband had the meatballs+pasta, my son had Calebrese Pizza ( price includes a donation to a charity for everyone sold ) I had Mushrooms & Tallegio Pizza with Prosciutto added. Pizzas come uncut but your own Pizza wheel to use. My son & i actually could not eat all our Pizza so too some home each. 1 medium glass of Australian Chardonnay ( we are from visiting Australia ) 2 Cola all for under £80. Our waitres Katie was just wonderfully bright & bubbly. Thanks to all your team from kitchen to front of house, lovely dinning experience.

I came to this new Italian restaurant while shopping as it was new and wanted to try, however i was heavily disappointed from the beginning. To start with there was not one Italian staff there and the food as atrocious. I ordered the pollo milanese and they told me it doesn’t come with anything but a fried egg which isn’t even pollo milanese anymore. after a struggle i managed to change the meal to come with pasta but have to take off the egg. When the food finally came i found a burnt chip inside the chicken which was clearly old and left in the fryer. (my meal didn’t even come with chips), The pasta that came was watery and had no flavour. the table was filthy and didn’t even get an apology from the manager at the end of my meal. Very unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The place was basically empty yet the waiter was very rushed and rude with us like he couldn't wait for us to leave! He didn't even have the decency to look us in the eye and was talking to another table in a different language as he served us. I would go to a different est again, but not this one with such an odious waiter.
