Probably the worst lunch experience we have had in a long time. Booked a table with disabled access, it was clear they weren't prepared for us. Ordered a starter for our daughter, which didn't arrive. Mother's pizza was served ages after the main group. My salad was clearly in the side for 15 mins (no exaggerating) before being served as other meals were not ready Dada green beans were so hard he left them. Overall a really poor experience especially with a bill ,of £100.

Visited yesterday with my mum, service was quick! we had an issue with one of the meals and it was dealt with quickly by staff! Danny in particular was helpful and was very kind to us! would definitely visit again

I had the pesto pasta, So delicious. My Mum & Dad had Rustica chicken pizza, Dad said it was the best pizza he ever ate!. Special mention to Fabiola who served us, so friendly and great service. We will be back 😊

Loud, cold and fast and extremely unfriendly staff.

Arrived at 20:30, was half greeted, told to pick any available table. We were one of 4 groups in the restaurant, saw a 5th group arrive and have their orders taken and drinks served before we were even offered a menu. We left at 20:45. Saw at least 4 different members of staff, none of them bothered to interact with us.

Lovely food and friendly service. Myself and my daughter ate here, food so delicious and arrived fairly quickly for the amount of people. Definitely recommend and would do back to try other items.

Very poor experience. They didn’t have over half of what we wanted on the menu because apparently the delivery driver crashed on his way to deliver to this restaurant. The chicken start was dry and bland, this was not eaten. Pasta dish came cold and was returned to the kitchen for it to be pinged in the microwave and then wasn’t discounted or taken off the bill, again this was not eaten. Our server said he would never eat here unless it was on his break because he agreed it was disguising. The only reason we ate here was because pizza express was closed. We will not be returning.

Very bad experience!!! I was seated at 3.30pm, I don’t wanna have dinner at 3.30pm, So I only ordered cocktails. Then The waitress told me they don’t serve beverages without food. And asked me to leave, while more than half restaurant is empty. what a really good staff training!

Received the wrong order only 1 thing was right. no pasta, no risotto, no chips. the pizza that we did get was cold and not great. I had ordered in the past which was fine but not this time. I won't be ordering again not only did the order go wrong but Just Eat only give refunds as credit on account instead of back to the card it seems. So totally out of pocket wasn't ordering again being really hungry and not wanting to wait at least another 30 mins but probably.Not a happy customer.

Best spaghetti.Needs more servers as there’s always a big wait for a table.

This is the second time we have been turned away despite there being loads of free tables, because there isn’t enough people to serve. This is ridiculous - sort it out Zizzi

Excellent food , Excellent service

We came here at 8.30pm on a Friday night, for starters we ordered olives and cheesy garlic bread it was lovely, however I had a glass that was still dirty with someone’s lipstick on it that was replaced and the waiter and waitress were really nice about it. For our mains we ordered a salmon pasta it was lovely however me and my stepdad ordered a beef Steffado in a bread dough bowl. The dough bowl was soggy and disgusting dripping in oil at the bottom of it. The potatoes were the nicest thing in it and they weren’t even that nice. There was about 2 strands of beef in the whole dish really was not happy about it. It was like having gravy and pizza dough together would not recommend don’t even know why its on the menu, apart from that the starters were lovely and the service from the waiters was 5 stars.

One word, disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

Me and my daughter were looking for someone to dine, we approached this restaurant but wasn’t very sure however a lovely man called danny came over and took us through the menu. We decided to come in and Danny was absolutely fantastic! So attentive to our needs and made me and daughter feel so welcome. Danny was so enthusiastic about the food and he was the reason we gave this restaurant a try. We are so glad we did! The food was amazing! We had starters and a main including the lasagna and wow! Honestly the service and quality was exceptional, in fact it was that good that’s the reason I came to do a review! We will definitely be returning.

Food and drinks were great! Jessiah was our server for the evening and he made sure that we were happy with our food and drinks. He was very attentive and made conversation with us, making the experience pleasant for the both of us.

Amazing ! We had the Chorizo Carbonara. Our server for the evening was Jessiah, he was great, always came round to check if we needed anything and was very attentive.

Awful customer service, the only Nice staff member was the Italian guy who showed us to our table, the other 2 was rude and very abrupt, throwing receipts on table and just simple lack of care. The vegan meatball pizza was nice but could do with more than 8 tiny meatballs on a massive pizza and my partner had simply a piece of bread with fresh salad just dumped on top of it.

Adam our server was excellent very friendly and welcoming.

Great waiter but the Beef Ragu was awful tasteless and watery with hard herbs that stuck in your throat.

Perfect experience once again, we love coming to Zizi’s TC they always make us feel welcome and the food is on point every time. Special mention to Stevie J, his service is exceptional always smiling always happy to help and nothing is ever any trouble. Thanks for being our go to place ☺️

Visited this afternoon for lunch, portion sizes were great we had the mozzarella bombe for starters, I would really recommend trying this. I really wanted to mention how lovely and accommodating our server Alessio was he really went above and beyond for us.

Wasn’t overly impressed, the service was very slow, but staff were polite and friendly. My gluten free pasta tasted lovely, but unfortunately wasn’t cooked, the pasta was hard and inedible. They apologised and changed it, but got it after the rest of my family had finished. Still wasn’t cooked well and undercooked. But was so hungry just ate it… taste was delicious, shame it wasn’t cooked. Family pizzas were overcooked and black on edges. We ordered vanilla ice cream off Kids menu, out of stock, menu said strawberries so we ordered that, they turned up with chocolate ice cream! So then asked again for strawberries, he said we don’t do them, it’s grapes. He said didn’t know why menu said strawberries! Shame

Had a very lovely meal in Zizzi with my family. It was especially enjoyable with how fast and attentive the service was. Naomi was lovely and really took care of us this evening. The only 2 food options that I really wanted were sold out unfortunately but Naomi helped me choose a pasta dish that I loved based on her own taste.

I met family at the Trafford centre and decided to eat at zizzis as my family from Leeds eat at their local restaurant and recommended it. It did not disappoint! My mum has a severe nut allergy. The manager dealt with us directly, I'm a vegetarian. I felt like there was plenty of options to choose from. The staff were smiling and professional. Everywhere seemed clean. The toilets smelt really nice (I know weird to say but they did) the food was amazing. I had bruschetta and a mushroom dish and a side of chips. Full of flavour!! My family all went for the lasagna. They often have this when going to Zizzis and my son had it for the first time. They also had the garlic bread. There are different ones. Two of them had the onion chutney garlic bread, my son had the chilli garlic bread. We live near Liverpool and next time we go will be going to zizzis!!

I ordered two main dishes, a spaghetti and a risotto. The amount in each dish was enough for a starter, and were not very good value for money at about £15 each. The food is well prepared although the free Margherita pizza was cold upon arrival. The delivery was later than promised, but this was because they reported a far too optimistic time.

Lunch out with my toddler. Although extremely busy, received a fabulous welcome from various members of the team. All highly knowledgeable about products( I'm a fussy eater). I had a great dining experience. Thanks

Was a very busy day but we managed to gat a table, which was great. Food delicious as always, we had the sharing platter for starters (Calamari delicious) and I had chorizo carbonara, hubby had wagyu pasta which he highly recommends. Always choose Zizzi when we fancy Italian 😋

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived so the service was really good, but by the end of the meal it was quite busy and service became very slow. The waitress was lovely but had too much to do. I ordered the Zucca salad, which at almost £15 was very poor value for money, basically some salad leaves, a few pieces of butternut squash and a very small amount of mixed grains. My daughter had the penne pasta from the kid's menu, which was watery and very basic. The veggie sticks starter and grapes for dessert weren't worth bothering with.

Would never go again. Ordered the beef rague, parts of it were stone cold. Asked for a new one came out 3 minutes later clearly microwave the one I sent back but the waiter denied it. Ended up vomiting the rest of the night and felt awful the following day. 0/5 food standards need investigating.

1 Star Review for Zizzi - Manchester Trafford Centre Visited on Monday, 22nd July 2024, and had an extremely disappointing experience. My wife and I were escorted to a cramped table at the back of the restaurant, even though the place was only 40% full. The waiter, a gentleman with red hair and glasses, rudely informed us that the more spacious and comfortable tables at the front were reserved for parties of four. However, it was frustrating to see several other couples seated at those very tables, making the situation feel discriminatory and unfair. The cramped table we were given was uncomfortable, and the atmosphere at the back of the restaurant was far from pleasant. We felt ignored and undervalued as customers. When we politely requested to be moved to a better table, the waiter's dismissive and condescending attitude added to our frustration. His lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking, especially for a well-known chain like Zizzi. Feeling unwelcome and disappointed, we decided not to stay and went somewhere else to eat. This visit left us feeling deeply dissatisfied and unwelcome. We will never return to this location and advise others to avoid it if they value good service, a pleasant dining atmosphere, and respectful treatment. Zizzi - Manchester Trafford Centre has seriously let us down.

Service was very slow. When the food came my hubby's pizza looked like a 1.99 cheap supermarket pizza, no way worth £16. I asked for parmesan and black pepper, the waitress started taking food out, got parmesan 5 mins later, which was not proper parmesan, no black pepper. 🤷The table was cleaned at the side of us which they just wiped the food onto the floor, didn't pick it up for the next customers who sat there. We won't be returning.

Overall food was okay. It was warm and the chicken was lovely. The calzone had to be sent back due to it arriving with cheese when requested without. The service from Fabiola was excellent and she took care of the issue with a smile. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Never thought I'd be complaining about too much food, but here I am. The favourite board sharer was advertised for two people but definitely more 3-4. My wife had to box up most of her pizza 🙈
