Wildwood Restaurant in Cheshire West and Chester

After waiting 2 hour 20 for food I ordered 2 pastas and ended up with a moon pizza, chips and cold bolognaise. We contacted the restaurant and they said me, and someone with the same name made an order and they got mixed which is down to the Uber driver. I contacted the driver and he didn’t want anything to do with it. This complaint isn’t about the restaurant itself as the food dining in is great. Just one of them🤷‍♀️

Our family had great meal there today….from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and the service continued to be warm and friendly. The restaurant and tables were very clean and well presented and the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning again thanks for a lovely experience 😁

Had a takeaway tonight via uber eats. Resteraunt took 2 hours to prepare food and then sent me a vegan lasagne instead of a classic. Vegan lasagne was inedible too. Called resteraunt who said they could not do anything and will have to complain via uber eats and reorder my meal which was not possible as the resteraunt was closed to orders. Refunded for the lasagna but ended up eating a over cooked garlic bread which had hardly any cheese and fries for my tea. Not a good combo.

Caz the rockstar was great. Friendly welcoming and fun! Made it a great experience on top of great food and drinks.

They stuck 10% service charge on without telling me, I didn't notice until I got home. Even after I left a tip it wasn't mentioned. What a mobey grabbing scheme

Absolute trash. Ordered pizza takeaway and arrived stone cold. Spoke to the manager and they spoke to me in an overly patronising tone explaining to me that they take no responsibility for the quality of their own product. Escalated to general manager that fobbed me off with the same crappy speil only to anger me further by telling me to have a good evening. Absolute s#£t show. Avoid this place like its the plague you have been warned.

The food exceeded expectations and was delicious. What made it a lovely time was the waiter Elliot who was really friendly and courteous. He seems like a big asset for the restaurant.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times now, always an amazing experience! Staff are so lovely and welcoming. Food is yummy and they cater very well for allergies. Cocktails always 10/10. Would absolutely recommend!

Well 50quid for a takeaway treat and I end up eating a salad sandwich as other than the salad what arrived wasn’t edible. Raw pizza dough burnt lasagna and several missing items. Manager wouldn’t re make the order and just told us to call just eat for missing food. Joke, food has defo down hill

Had a delivery from them this evening. Appalling. Cold unappetising pizzas, a below average burger and the piece de resistance a vegan lasagne which consisted of half a tinfoil tub of something that looked like vomit with nasty vegan cheese on top. Expensive for something inedible. Shame. Don't use!

Back for our second visit tonight as Kaz and Milena made is feel so welcome last time, when my partner told me we were coming here earlier this month for his birthday, I was apprehensive as I was last here a couple of years ago and the food and service was shaky to say the least but this place has completely changed!! Absolutely amazing and if, like me, you haven't been here for a while because of past bad experiences, COME BACK!! It's amazing now. The food is as good as the staff!!

Food was good, came first takeaway. Waited at desk to collect takeaway. None came. Went to find a staff member, who said it withe be 5 minutes and said I could sit down. Her rude manger then said in a brusque way to stand at the entrance.

We ordered the calamari, chicken Ariabiatta, and the Piocante Carne pizza . The pizza was by far the best part of our meal. The Calamari was like deep fried elastic bands, it was terrible . This taken of the bill with no issues. We were not looked after very well, I was never told the name of any servers and I don't know if any servers was in charge of our table. The pasta was a bit bland, the chicken tasted like it was boiled and cooked separately to the spices in the pasta sauce. I guess it you washed it off briefly under a tap you'd have no idea what dish this chicken came from. The pizza was spicy, tasty and well cooked (not too well) this was standout the best dish we had. Would have ordered a dessert, but we sat there for 10 minutes without our plates being bussed, we were never asked about desserts. W3 just asked for the bill, paid, and left.

Great food and excellent customer service. However, I am really unhappy with the sneaky £8 (10%) service charge. If it's optional, then they should ask you and let you decide if you want to pay it or not.

After 1.5 hrs wait still no food. Justeat takes preference so anyone in the restaurant simply just doesn't get their food. Staff don't communicate or let you know the delay. Poorly managed. If you can't cope doing both maybe you shouldn't.

Been to Wildwood on many occasions and never once had an issue. This time we went for the 2 mains, fries and a drink for £10 deal and it is excellent value for money. You get a large 12" pizza if you order the pizza and it is cooked to perfection

Had a lovely lunch here today with my sister. The drinks were really good and the food was really tasty and fresh. Will definitely be back again. The waitress Magda was also really lovely and friendly.

I've always really enjoyed the food at Wildwood, with the Calzone being a particular favourite.

Having visited other restaurants in this chain, we decided to call at this restaurant for a family meal (3 adults). It was like being in a nursery school dining room - lots of loud children with little parental supervision. The first waitress we spoke to ignored us when we hadn't had time to look at the menu before she wanted to take our order. The second one thought she was a comedian, but we did not appreciate her "humour" Two meals that we ordered were ok. I didn't enjoy my pasta, which was described as having a "rich and creamy sauce." The sauce was very watery. We were extremely disappointed and did not enjoy the experience. We would not visit again

Love this place. Great for celiac's. They can do most of the menu gluten free.

Order: 660ml Peroni, Calamari, Large (+£2) Margarita Pizza with Jalepenos. After ordering, told only warm bottles of Peroni so I opted for draught, fair enough👍🏼 No Jalepenos, but quote 'we do have normal chilis' fair enough👍🏼 Pizza came with a few speckles of 'chili flakes' not chilis! Anyway I was compensated for the half teaspoon of chili flakes but the bottom line is, I like chilis on my boring Margarita Pizza otherwise it's just a boring Margarita Pizza which I would not order on its own, chilis are my favorite topping!! Young lass serving was lovely, it's always the poor (often young) front of house staff that apologize for those much higher paid folk in the kitchen and behind the desk!! Was happy to pay the 10% service charge though👍🏼

Started badly and got worse! Drinks order asked for regular without ice, waitress very good apologetic and replaced it without ice, then realised it was diet, they only do diet sprite,it just says sprite on menu, happily replaced. We could see serving area and watched our food go cold as staff ignored repeated bell rings, server picks it up,puts it down to talk to another server, eventually picks it up and it's cold! As I'm politely requesting a replacement to both meals server just picks them up and walks away whilst I'm still explaining that I can see what's happened. Original waitress brings us our replacement food very apologetic. I asked for the manager and that's the server that just walked away from me! Clearly no point in trying again! I cannot fault the chefs or our waitress, this negative feedback is completely the fault of the manager who clearly doesn't know how to manage or provide customer service.

Great spot to go to with friends or family, staff were very helpful especially caz who was friendly and funny too. I had the chicken and chorizo calzone which was delicious and the portions were perfectly sized, would definitely go again

Very over priced for what it is £18 for a sandwich and chips £7 a pint a lot better/nicer restaurants out there.

Excellent food at very competitive prices, and the service was just what we expected,four of us and no complaints whatsoever, so will be returning shortly.

It's good. I assume it's a chain restaurant, seems like that. They did an offer where it was a tenner for a meal and a drink. Good deal. Also had the vegan lasagne which is rare to see. Only downside is that I noticed a service charge of 3 quid added to my bill after I'd payed and moved on. Sneaky!

Really disappointing service during our visit on a recent Saturday night. At around 9.30 we were the last people in and instead of management popping over to say they are preparing to close they just brought the bill over and dumped it on the table without asking us and promptly switched the music off and turned the lights on - we still had drinks left. Absolutely appalling way to treat customers, we thought it was incredibly rude. A simple conversation would have been no problem at all. Communication is clearly a problem. It is such a shame because the food was excellent but will be in no rush to return.

Stater Calamari was like chewing rubber , at. Early £10 seriously don’t bother with this starter . The Philly cheesesteak pizza was ok but not worth £17.35 so for the the whole cost of £30.84 was it worth it NO

Great lunch time deal for £10 which includes a soft drink. Huge portion sizes and excellent value for money. We had three different dishes and they were all very good. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. There was a 10% service charge added which I was happy to pay but the waitress advised this was added and could be removed.

The reason we go to a restaurant is to have food and drinks served to us and taken away after finishing otherwise we would go and get a takeaway so why are they adding a service charge ? Restaurant prices include for the service. I know you can refuse to pay but you shouldn’t have to

Absolutely fantastic service all staff members take their time to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your drinks and meal and each member of staff will serve you which is better than being given one waiter/ waitress will I recommend this restaurant yes I will without hesitation

Found this lovely place while walking into town and decided to give it a try. Me and my mum were greeted with a warm welcomed upon arrival. We had a chicken burger and the sea food risotto which was full of flavour and for desserts had a chocolate brownie and a tiramisu. The staff were amazing very quick with service and would like to thank CAZ especially for her lovely personality and smile.

The pizza came with hardly any goats cheese and had two inches of just dough, with hardly any topping and tomato sauce?? Not great for £20!!

The delivery time said 45 minutes, but we did not receive it for over 2 hours. We then opened up the bags to discover we had been given completely the wrong order. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Just tasteless! Margarita pizza with sauce just tasted like dough! A little salt and pepper would have sprung it up! Seafood linguine again looked appealing but no taste at all, don’t be an afraid to use a little spice to bring the ingredients together or simply salt!

We had a lovely pre-theatre meal here. We accidentally stumbled upon Wildwoods when looking around a rather tired and ruined down Northwich highstreet for a place to eat when we found this place. Modern, clean and the staff were great. We were seated quickly in a spot where we chose (outside, as the sun was out). We ordered sides and pizzas. The pizzas are handmade and are delicious. They tasted so fresh and cooked perfectly. We would definitely recommend here for food.

We both had pizzas. They were trying to do something extra and came pretty close. Table was too small and service on a very slow day (maybe 6 tables full) was hit or miss.

Visited today with family during the Northwich Pokémon hunt. Every dish was wonderful, mains + desserts. Slight mistake with the pizza (ordered pepperoni and got Margherita) was rectified immediately and the staff couldn’t have apologised any more when they really didn’t need to. Replacement was brought out promptly and was really enjoyable. The girls working there today were all equally wonderful, pleasant hosts and we hope to revisit again soon having seen the sad closures stacking up elsewhere in this chain.

Delivery time although should have been 1 hour took 1 hour 25 mins and Food arrived cold which I had to put in the oven. Not ideal when you’re paying restaurant prices you expect your food to be hot.

Brilliant restaurant! We had a lovely birthday meal and the restaurant decorated the table for us and the birthday girl got a free dessert! Food was really delicious and the steak really tender. The team were fantastic and attentive and made a real effort to make our visit a memorable one. Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend a visit!

The service was a bit slow due to customers coming in for take aways. The food was very nice. The Staff were extremely polite and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely visit again.

Came in on a Thursday night and came in a little early. They were able to seat us and served us quickly. A young brunette waitress was really kind and recommended us cocktails and portion sizes to share. It quickly became busier later on in the night but the waiters continued to be attentive and pleasant with refills on drinks and checking on us without being over eager. The bar was beautiful, the atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the food. I typically don’t enjoy pasta but the food was incredibly flavourful and has quickly become my one of my favourite restaurants. I’d personally recommend the oven baked goats cheese and mushroom penne pasta and the cheesy garlic bread.

Ate here with my teenage son and had a great meal, we both asked for changes to our main courses due to allergies and this was done with no problems at all, both meals were prompt with the correct changes The service was prompt with a smile

Went there for an excellent Mothers Day menu. Two of us had the ribeye steak and they were delicious. Excellent service

What can I say. We booked out a table for my daughters 9th birthday on Feb and it was great food and atmosphere. I had a seafood linguine and it was amazing We went again for a wedding anniversary in March and they surpassed themselves. The linguine was better!! The lasagne was divine and the mushroom bruschetta was amazing This is our new favourite place that does Italian food better than the local Italian restaurants!!

All food arrived freezing cold. Had to be heated up in the oven. Wouldn’t order again.

Would like to start off by saying that Caz is a real credit to the team. Its very refreshing to have someone looking after your table that clearly enjoys their job and wants to make sure you have a good experience. There was a bit of a wait on food but nothing major and the only beer available was the one on draught which is a good beer but unfortunately pricey but can't blame the resteraunt for supply issues. Overall a nice place for a meal and do recommend

I’ve just paid £38.41 for a 3 course (meal for one) of stone cold food. I have had to reheat each element and have chewy rubbery food and actually can’t eat it. I love Wildwood but will never order again. I tried UberEats and had cold MacDonalds but hoped that Just Eat would have a better process and that wouldn’t have cost me all sadly MacDonalds would have been better. have had to called the restaurant to feedback about my cold Wildwood is my favourite in person but sadly, I will never order

I was here for lunch with my parents. The food we had was excellent and the place had a good atmosphere. I had the garlic bread with cheese, declining the caramelized onion it would have come with. The result was what I considered a proper pizza base garlic bread and cheese, best I've had in a while. The background music was at the right volume and type so you could hear it but wasn't intrusive so we could speak to each other and even my dad, who is hard of hearing could understand our conversation. The staff were warm and welcoming

The food is good for what is essentially a fast food restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the parking is a bit away in the multi storey carpark but if you are shopping in the town centre it's any easy walk.

Consistently a great team of staff provide a warm welcome, authentic pizzas and great service. We regularly pop in for a quick lunch and have always had prompt friendly attentive service. Guida manages the restaurant supported by Magda and Caz. They offer some wonderful deals and birthday treats if you register your e-mail.The environment is spacious, clean and has a Mediterranean atmosphere. It is situated in the new Barons Quay shopping centre conveniently sited for the cinemas.

It's OK. Service was the high point. Lovely staff and a professional service both front of house and waitress. The food was nice, but nothing out of this world. I would consider coming back if I was looking for somewhere to have lunch in Baron's Quay

It’s the worst experience I had in an Italian restaurant.(Northwich.27/01/24) The pizza is, undercooked and tasteless. Came out pale, the cheese and toppings are not even close to be cooked! Even after asking it to cook it longer the dough came back under cooked. Used to be a good restaurant …I will never come back here again. Ripoff and sub standard!!!

Such a shame. Black burnt chips and not even many of them either! Pizza was small with a sprinkling of black olives or at least I think they were olives, they were so small it was hard to tell!

Food didn’t turn up 2.5 hours after ordering. Phoned to cancel the order and the driver turned up an hour later. Told him it was cancelled. Had no note on refund and it’s been marked as delivered when I didn’t want my order at 10pm at night.
