Another fantastic experience at The Coast. The food is excellent, the drinks selection great and the atmosphere never disappoints.

Decided to go on impulse and had a lovely evening Prawn and avocado cocktail starter, Bouillabaisse, Halibut with Dauphinoise potatoes, semifreddo and the lemon tart were all sublime in a lovely setting with great staff

Fabulous food. Lovely spacious surroundings and confortable seating. Couldn't fault it.

A 5 out of 5 Italian in my eyes. Food was phenomenal and the staff were extremely polite. Would love to visit again in the future.

Went in on a whim, omg the food was amazing fresh and well presented, was 20 mins which , is spot on 4 me, staff were brilliant, not falsely nice, hate that, no issues at all, only prob I had was finding a decent parking space close by. 1000% recommend

A fabulous experience - lovely food, attentive staff, great ambiance - what more could one ask for. Lovely varied and interesting menu (Scallop starter is AMAZING) offers great choice, portion sizes good and all delightfully presented. Without doubt the best eaterie in Tarporley.

We're regulars at The Coast. Food is exceptional, every single time. Genuinely fantastic Italian food. Really friendly and helpful staff too. Sunday roasts might just be the best around. Only annoyance is the forced addition of a tip on the bill. It's up to me what I want to tip, not you.

Attentive staff, well managed and knowledgeable. Lovely choice of food and decent portions. Majority available as GF option so no compromise required. Our starters and mains were lovely. The bouillabaisse was delicious and full of sea food - so will have that again. Atmosphere was fine and they haven't crammed in an extra 10 tables so for us it was ideal.

Wow genuinely one of the best meals and overall wonderful experience going out for a meal that I've had for ages 😋 Staff were excellent food was incredible and lovely portions!!!

I was looking for a Mediterraneanstyle menu and the fish on Coast's menu was excellent. Unusual dishes beautifully executed.. Creamy mushrooms could have been in thicker sour dough... thats my only suggestion...not a criticism. Mains were delicious and fresh. Sweets were amazing I had creme brulé which was just fabulous and the size of a saucer which was a bonus!! The tiramisu was delightfully fresh and tasty.

First time I visited here and we were not disappointed. Beautiful food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, spotlessly clean. We will return and recommend.

Friendly staff and food good. The main feedback is the lighting, it was like walking into a hospital it was so bright! It can make or break an ambience and sadly it made the restaurant appear quite cold. It’s an element as important as the food and forms part of the experience. If you make small change and get that right it would be perfect.

We had an amazing meal at Coast last Saturday! The service we received was fantastic- from the greeting at the door right through to the end of the meal, all the waiters were fantastic, including Molly the manager who was brilliant with us. There was 5 of us and we all enjoyed our starters, mains and deserts- The food was amazing, the chefs are a real credit.

We visited yesterday evening, table was pre booked. Nice, spacious and not on top of each other. We had muscles and prawn pilpil to start and the lamb rack for main, all of which was absolutely lovely, incredibly tasty so we thoroughly enjoyed. The service is also incredible- strongly recommend a visit.

Had a fabulous meal at the coast last night. The food was superb and well presented. A lovely atmosphere and very clean. The staff were friendly and very professional. It is obviously very well run. Would certainly go again.

Having dined at the Edgerton Arms a few times and been very impressed, we were intrigued to try The Coast as we understand it is owned by the same person. We checked the menu and saw that it is varied, with some interesting dishes and prices that are not out of the ordinary. So we went and were not disappointed. The restaurant is smart , but not pretentious. The serving staff were all very friendly and efficient. Our dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. We can particularly recommend the rosemary and sea salt pizza bread. It was thin, light and flavoursome - a great start to the meal. It's no wonder the restaurant was moderately busy on a Tuesday evening.

Can't get passed how bad the tomato sauce was with the seafood pasta it was ridiculously sweet. Nice place but you need to get the basics right.

Last minute decision to get lunch on a Tuesday in Tarporley. Friendly staff, great service and tasty food. We’ll definitely be back!

It has yummy pizza but the toilets are old fashioned and hard to flush. Service was good and the restaurant was modern and the tables were clean.

First time visiting. Very lovely meal, with friendly and attentive staff. Nice touch that they spotted it was a birthday meal and brought out a 'sparkling' desert.

We ate here with friends as a party of four. All dishes were lovely and enjoyed by all. Ambiance is lovely and a good night was had.

Spacious restaurant with modern decor. Great service but both our fish dishes were overcooked. The teriyaki salmon was underwhelming and overpriced.

Decided to try The Coast after reading good reviews and were not disappointed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff advised us on the menu. Food was delicious especially the T-bone steak. Wine also very good. We weren’t rushed at all. Great atmosphere on a Friday evening.

Visited coast on a Saturday evening , the place was really busy which was good to see. The food was very good we both really enjoyed it. Service was great! Definitely go again and a very enjoyable experience.

we had not eaten here for a long time but needed to try it out for my wife`s birthday dinner, with family travelling from Yorkshire & Worcestershire to join us. I think it was Isabel who dealt with us and she was both professional and friendly. My wife had mussels to start which were "great" and a decent portion but MY 5 lobster ravioli portion was very poor...5 in total....either the kitchen ran out or the lobster paste was very expensive. Again my wife had a great halibut dish. My tagliatelle + bolognese ragu was tasty but just not very well presented in comparison to other Italian restaurants. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little sombre perhaps because it was the day after Valentines so we did not come on the 24th with the family

Visited as a couple for my wife's 60th birthday, received a warm welcome staff friendly and helpful, starter's lovely, my wife's main really good I had the belly pork which was fine but just didn't work for me on the night, I did have a dodgy tummy prior to attending so wasn't at my best,staff did offer me another meal which was a lovely gesture however due to said upset tummy I declined, my wife had pudding with only be described as a ' firecracker ' ( see pic), accompanied by a rendition of Happy birthday, lovely touch, will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely evening, regards Bob.

Absolutely spot on as always. Fabulous Seafood linguine, King Prawn arrabiata, great wine and great service. Wayne and his lovely staff excelled as usual .

Visited for my step moms birthday. Food was delicious as always and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. One of my favourite places to eat and I always recommend it to all my friends and family.

Lovely very modern and clean restaurant, great food and wonderful service throughout. Free on street parking directly outside, all round a great visit and our first for a while, can’t wait to return!

First time in here and generally pleased. Atmosphere good but mid week so very quiet. Service excellent. Food OK. We all had a different pasta dish as it advertises as an Italian restaurant. None of them were particularly spectacular but we do intend to give it another go and try something that isn't pasta based. Couple of niggles. Print on menu very small so in the dimmed lighting it was difficult to read. Maybe younger folks don't have that problem 🙂 10% service charge added to bill. I hate this as though it is "optional" you have to be hard faced to ask for it to be removed and this can cause embarrassment if you are out with friends. Would have been quite happy to leave a tip but not in this way. If restaurant needs to do this why not be upfront, add 10% to the prices and pay staff a higher wage.

Any place that Wayne Barlow manages, will run like a Swiss watch. Great food, great service. Rack of lamb cooked to perfection, carpaccio very, very good, Halibut once again cooked to perfection. Great service, great food. What else can you say?

New favourite place, staff and management are excellent. The food and wine is always brilliant.

Thought the Seafood Linguine was overpriced as a small amount of seafood in the dish. However the staff were lovely, attentive and friendly. The Restaurant itself beautifully appointed and tables nicely dressed. Perhaps I just picked the wrong thing to order. Lots of people on the table were very happy with their choices.

Visited here for lunch with friends to celebrate a special occasion. We chose the 3 course meal deal for approx £23.95 each. The food was amazing. Each course was so tasty and well presented. Couldn’t fault at all. The service from the female waitress was great and she was very friendly and chatty. The restaurant was clean and other staff also friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Our first time in Coast again for quite a few years and wow what a great choice . Great service (Zac) great choice of food on a really good menu (one Gluten free ) Atmosphere was great too , all in all I would definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant.

Gorgeous place, great host, amazing food, superb ambience. Had a lovely meal here last night to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Everything was spot on, starters (carpaccio & meatballs), mains (lobster ravioli and spaghetti carbonara- best Ive ever had!) As for the dessert ( creme brulee) ...to die for. Followed by coffee and fine cognac. Big thank you to Wayne, who was lovely, so nice and friendly ... we will definitely be back soon xx

Decided on the Coast as the menu looked good. We were not disappointed with the set lunch menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Travelling back from Hemel Hempstead we were looking for somewhere to stop near home. Googled an Italian restaurant in Whitchurch - as usual it was full. Googled restaurants around Tarporley and discovered The Coast. Parked in the High Street and walked up to the restaurant....

Our thanks to all the staff at the Coast for a wonderful meal and for looking after us. Especially Yum and Molly. Our meal was especially good because we had our granddaughter with us. She adores your dishes. ( Lasagna). Especially.

Food here is amazing and the staff are always polite. Only slight issue is no parking so you may need to hunt for a space nearby first, other than that this place is highly recommended 🌟

This is a good restaurant with nice decor (Slightly let down by the cheap looking plastic hooks on the front of the bar). We had fillet steaks which were perfectly cooked with excellent accompaniments. The broccoli side with chilli and garlic added to the enjoyment...

In Tarporley there are many good dining options but at the Coast they are hard to beat , for choice of menus ,quality or value for money!. The Staff also enhance the experience with outstanding service and provide a warm welcome . Highly recommended

Dinner on Sunday evening - menu was varied and competitively priced with GF options available. Staff were attentive knowledgeable and friendly and the service was excellent despite the restaurant being busy. Sunday lunchtime. They served a Sunday roast which is unusual in an Italian restaurant. It was fine. I had the sea bass with bravas potato's. ( Sorry the app won't let me spell the dish correctly ) The bass was excellent but the side dish rather unsubstantial and only just warm.

Another visit to this lovely Restaurant after visiting parents. Recommend Nduja & Mozzarella Arancini and Beef Carpaccio for starters. Lobster Ravioli for mains is a must. As for Dessert,I would highly recommend White Chocolate & Raspberry Semifreddo. Staff were friendly. Will be back.
