Fantastic customer service, friendly welcoming staff. Fast service and food was amazing.

Avoid this place at all costs if you want to avoid food poisoning! My friend got food poisoning after eating the beef burger and the cheese on my pizza was stale. We were also charged a forced service fee which we were not notified of earlier by the waiter. The attitude of the waiter did not make things any better.

Staying for an engagement, Sunday we went to a great restaurant in the center of Liverpool! My mother and I ate well there, my mother a good lasagna and I a good Pizza Margherita. I had a mojito cocktail it was so good

Lovely place, very accommodating with a family member needing a quieter atmosphere. The food was hot, well prepared and nicely served. I love the quirky decor. Will definitely return and try others in different places.

A very nice place to have dinner in Liverpool centre. All I order just show on the photo: seafood linguine, baked aubergine, tiramisu and apple juice. Seafood Linguine has a lot of mussels, squid rings and shrimp, baked aubergine soft and juicy, apple juice tastes very fresh. The only drawback is that the tiramisu like a semi-finished product bought from supermarkets. However, this restaurant still worth to visit. It is worth mentioning that the service in this restaurant is very fast, it only took 45 minutes from the time I sat down to the time I finished my meal and left. Service charge in this restaurant is 20%.

We went here Sat 27th after being let down by a restaurant we had been double-booked with. Being a super busy Saturday and pay day weekend, we couldn't find ANYWHERE to eat and quickly were giving up however, we popped in to see if there was any space for us. We spoke to a really lovely and understanding staff member who I assume was the manager. She kindly managed to get us seated after a group booking didn't show up. We had a lovely meal and cocktails so our date night was saved! All of the staff we spoke to were great and really friendly - the food was lovely as well! Couldn't fault at all. Thank you so much :)

Having spent nearly £800 as a birthday party group we were told it was last orders at 9pm then later around 1015pm or so one of the staff told us to say our ‘goodnights’ OUTSIDE!! During our visit there were only a few other tables occupied! Had we known how fast they wanted to get rid of us they wouldn’t have nearly £100 TIP!

came for dinner on a quiet Wednesday evening, starters which was garlic bread was lovely and arrived quickly. Mains took a little while to arrive, my partners arrived wrong so was changed but then took even longer. The side of potatoes came about 5 minutes after the mains and were just burnt. Peri peri pasta was tasteless. Carbonara was okay but nothing special. Our server was the best part about here!

I very much enjoyed my chicken Romana😋. It was great having a little play area so that kids can enjoy it too without disturbing adults. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Before a night at the theatre, my partner and I decided to grab some food. We walked in to Wildwood, without a reservation, and were seated immediately. The place wasn’t packed, nor was it empty. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy. There was plenty of space between the tables which allowed breathing room - you couldn’t hear neighbouring conversations. The staff were lovely and courteous. We were checked on several times throughout our meal without it being overbearing or interfering. Our order: 2x sauv blanc wine 250ml (£9.40/250ml) 1x seafood linguine (£15.95) 1x chicken & chorizo risotto (£15.15) Unfortunately, we were served our wine in dirty glasses. When I say dirty, I mean they had stains on and had not been wiped/dried properly. I always feel the mark of a good restaurant is how clean their glasses are. Needless to say, a quick wipe over the rim made it palatable. The wine itself was lovely and dry, very easy to drink, and complimented our meals perfectly. My partner described the Seafood linguine. The whole prawn was easy to take apart, as were the mussels. I noted there was no water bowl to clean his fingers after this; a small detail but something that he would have benefitted from. This is his favourite dish - he orders it wherever we go so comparatively it held up. He would order it again without hesitation. I had the Chicken and chorizo risotto. It was initially overpowering with pepper, but as I settled into the dish, I loved the heat of it. I was disappointed that the chorizo was sliced from a packet, rather than small, fresh chunks cooked in the risotto. It would have added flavour, although maybe it would have left the dish greasy? We know how chorizo can be when cooked! The chicken:rice ratio was great - they definitely didn’t skimp on this. The pancetta was crispy and not cooked through the rice as I initially thought it would be. Again, cubes of pancetta instead of out the packet would have added flavour. There were edamame beans in the dish too which I didn’t care for. They didn’t add texture or taste - they were almost irrelevant. I’d have preferred a roasted pine nut. Simple, elegant, tasty, textured… but hey. I’m just an Italian with an unhealthy obsession for risotto and food in general. The risotto itself was cooked well. The portion size was good for both dishes. We didn’t need a sweet, and were full without being uncomfortable. I would return here because I believe I chose the wrong dish for myself. If I’d have ordered the carbonara like I originally thought to, I think I would have enjoyed it more. I wanted to try something different - famous last words!

This was our first time in Wildwood and we were really impressed with the food and the service. The only negative was the loud music being played over the speaker system. A bit of background music would have been better.

Ate here a few times, but tonight we were very disappointed - food mediocre, can't say service was slow, more that the staff just forgot us , can't blame busy restaurant as it was half full . . . Left very deflated.

In Liverpool overnight for a show and booked here as on route between hotel and theatre but turned out to be an excellent choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful despite been busy and the food was excellent and good value. Will definitely return if ever back in Liverpool

Turned up without booking was seated very quickly. Service was very polite and the food was lovely. Very chilled atmosphere.

Food was okay but service was extremely slow - nearly 2 hours until we had our mains. Drinks were consistently forgotten and then duplicates turned up over an hour later. The lasagna was very soupy and quite expensive for the portion size. Although the cocktails were nice ...when they eventually arrived!

Pre booked a meal for 16 people for a birthday meal, service from start to finish was awful. W Was all sat near the door at front of restaurant where it was absolutely freezing, we all had to sit with our coats on for the entire time we was there. Waited half an hour for someone to come and take our order for drinks, we had one drink in an hour and half as no one came back to us, we had to go looking for staff to ask for another drink. Are food was pre booked a week before for 7:30, got our food at 9:15, although the food was nice when it did eventually arrive. So all in all a really bad service, wouldn’t recommend!

Lovely restaurant, pity about the service. Had a table booked for 8 people,after being taken to table our drinks order was taken, didn't arrive for 40 minutes. Had to ask for our food order to be taken when food arrived one was missing. Manger/supervisor came to table and her people skills where terrible. If it hadn't of been Christmas we would of got up and left. Restaurant was very understaffed for time of year On a positive note food was lovely

Well-presented restaurant with well-presented staff and good service. I came to this restaurant hoping for a wonderful meal having worked in Liverpool but left disappointed with the food. I ordered a wine, but unfortunately my meal came before the wine. This was not a major issue at all as the Carbonara didn’t take too long to make….The main issue was the Carbonara. Unfortunately it was bland, and tasteless. It was honestly the worst Carbonara I’ve ever had, so much so, I did not finish it. However, the wine was ace! I informed the member of staff who was very apologetic and listened to my concerns and could resonate. I was informed that kitchen staff members often change and this maybe the issue ? Which is a real shame as this place could do so well, but unfortunately this Carbonara was a let down. Hopefully it is a one off and just me. Despite this, the FOH staff team seemed to deal with the situation well and was attentive.

Where to begin... we booked a family meal for 16 people on Friday evening. when we arrived we were informed we weren't going to be sat on the same table. these tables were also right by the front door which looked like a waiting area of the restaurant. it was so cold we had to keep our coats on. we then waited over 30 minutes just to get drinks served. there was no sign of any food and it was like we were forgotten about. The starters only came out 1hr after we arrived. couldn't even order any more drinks we had to ask at the bar 3 times before someone finally came over. By the time the mains arrived, it had been two hours since we arrived at the restaurant. What makes it worse is the food was all pre-ordered. the food itself was okay once it had arrived. Clearly, it was understaffed and poor management. All in all the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.

Had a really lovely evening with a group of friends. We had our own long table which was dressed festively in a nice area of the restaurant. It was a set menu which had something for everyone to choose from. We had all pre-ordered our meals which made it easier for the staff. All the staff were very happy to help and served us in a lovely friendly manner. My one and only gripe would be my starter- it was mushroom and mozzarella with balsamic dressing. It was not great bread not toasted cold uncooked mushrooms and a couple of slices of hard mozzarella! This starter needs attention as it was bland! But it didn’t spoil the rest of the meal or the evening. Great place.

Lovely Restaurant, very airy and bright. Friendly servers. Food was delicious, with lots of choices on the menu and a Lunch menu.

Was back yet again at this place and their pizzas are huge. However you can can order much other from their big menu. Cool layout for the place and very roomy..

I did not ask for a kids lemonade and they gave me one, there is no Christmas menu despite there being one last time I came! It is not bad but it's not incredible! Service was fine!

Ate here while on working in Liverpool for a week. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful they are a credit to the establishment. I had the lasagne this night which was beautifully cooked and with a good solid pasta meat ratio. Would recommend if you are in Liverpool & fancy a lovely restaurant for some food food

I have frequented this place many times alone and with friends and it has normally been a lovely dining experience with good food and service in a lovely building with some lovely non-intrusive music in the background. I visited for a late lunch on Friday 10/11/23 to find many different staff present which was fine and it seems there is a change to recipes for food for the winter. I ordered my favourite and it was different but still as nice. However the blaring music playing brought the whole experience down. I do not want to listen to 'tainted love' and abba (quite loudly) screeching out in a very lovely italian restaurant. I can go to Wetherspoons if I want noise!! I spoke about my experience to the very lovely waitress who validated my comments but I wont be in a rush to return. What a shame !!

Good varied menu but it’s overpriced for what you receive. I had a cobb salad which was tasty enough but for the price was very meagre. Caesar salad was same but the pizzas looked a better size. The drink service was so painfully slow that I actually thought they’d forgotten about us both times when we ordered drinks. Food is tasty but expensive and service was slow. We have been before but I shan’t rush back.

We visited Thursday evening. Restaurant is part of the Clayton Square building with a beautiful tall arched ceiling. We both had the Piccante Carne Pizza. It was excellent, lots of rest tasty fresh meat, with a lovely base. Staff were nice and friendly. They also had Shipyard Pale Ale which was excellent too

Booked for 5pm on bombfire night, it was quite empty. With this in consideration, why did I ha e to ask a waitress to take our drink orders after about 10mins if being seated. Then once the orders for drink and food had been taken, we then waited at least 15 minutes for the 4 drinks to arrive and a further 15 minutes for 2 starters, never mind the wait for the mains. As the restaurant was really empty, I would expect to get exceptional service. So of course, we didn't believe the service that was given, warranted a tip. But to our disgust,o ce the bill had been paid, the service charge had already been added to the bill. If you are going to add the service charge onto people's bills without an option of paying it or not, then I suggest that you speak to your staff about how they deal with your customers, especially when your restaurant is really empty.

I recently stayed in Liverpool for the first time ever and Wildwood was located right across the street from where I was staying. My dinner there was one of the best meals I had during my trip and I’m so glad I went while I was there! The ambience of the restaurant was top, the meal was delicious and flavorful, the portions were generous, and the staff were so friendly. My waitress, Chloe, was so welcoming and absolutely wonderful. I would definitely go back when I am able to visit Liverpool again!

Very nice place and have been quite a few times but this time I found it expensive for what we had.

Absolute 10/10, our table had the sea & mountains pizza and the philly cheesesteak pizza and they were both incredible, thin and light bases, perfectly cooked, easily some of the best pizzas we've had. Service was excellent, all the staff were so lovely & friendly, and they make an excellent strawberry daiquiri. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Amazing Place! I have been here a few time on my own as enjoy a little peace away from the world sometimes and what a place to hide! Staff are amazing from bar to kitchen. I noticed my fave had been taken off the menu which is usually a seafood linguine… I was devastated as i am a fussy eater. To my surprise a lovely lady named Kat was like I am sure we can try an accommodate your needs but we cannot guarantee it will taste the same! She was right, It was even better (Shoutout to the Chef). Without this recommendation from Kat I would of moved on to the next place! I am so glad i never and will be back for the same again! Thanks Team Wildwood for making a bad day in to a great day every-time! What a hidden gem!!!

Had a nice dinner here. We all had the skinny pizza, which was tasty and well-priced. Service was great.

Went there with my daughters. Ideally situated in the city centre, in the shopping area, it iffers great Italian food. My pizza Florentina was great with a thin crust, and my daughters' Ceasar salad and spaghetti pomodoro were good. Very friendly service.

Servers & staff were lovely and so helpful but food delivery was very slow. We were a large party of 13, at 5 pm on a Saturday, but had prebooked our table (not walk ins) and waited an hour for the main course. If going with a large group again I would request that those not having starters get their main meal as soon as poss after starters have been served. Otherwise a fab experience and will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Not much to say about this. Pretty average restaurant. Interiors are decent but food and service not so much. We ordered Vegan food and Mushroom risotto was not up to the mark. Same for Vegan Lasagna. The portion sizes were very less. I won't say that any dish was worth £15 given it's taste and size. The service was very slow especially outside.

A wonderful ambience to the restaurant, with a friendly greeting and option to sit anywhere (I was the first customer of the day). The food, service and wine were, as always, second to none. No wonder I keep returning: this really is an excellent place to eat and drink and only a few yards from Central Station in the heart of the city.

Perfect for a nice meal with small children! There's a small play area at the back of the restaurant, a good kids menu and a bucket of lego/crayons when you arrive. Staff are kind and accommodating to little ones and generally give good service. Best of all, the food is good quality and tasty, which can't usually be said of many kid friendly places. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit regularly. (Could the other wildwood chains follow suit?)

Never knew Wildwood was there, must of walked past many times in the past. I’ve found a brilliant place to eat whenever I visit Liverpool from now on. Highly recommend. Everything perfect from food, service, cleanliness & prices too. Lovely family meal before the theatre. Emma very very nice.

We had a vegan lasagne which was burnt black round the edges and a pepperoni pizza that was far too salty. The staff and the restaurant were great pity the food was a let down

An Italian restaurant in the center of Liverpool. The dishes are delicious and varied, the restaurant’s decor is beautiful and comfortable, the service is excellent, and the staff are friendly. It is worth a visit.

Good pizzas. Sat outside to enjoy dinner around 5pm. Got served by a lovely man. Didn't rate 5 stars for service because they didn't often come to check on customers sitting outside. And another useful information for anyone new they add a 10% service charge to the bills, which can be removed if you didn't want to pay.

Food came quickly and tasted excellent definitely reccomend if your nearby go there . Perfect for a family gathering and kids are allowed so that was good

I simply love the place, the ambience, staff with a smile on their face, the food, and speed of delivery. It's simply world class. The food was great, affordable and exactly what I needed when I got it. The embience was great too, quiet, organized, clean and beautifully arranged.

Walking round after a long day sightseeing, 4 of us were looking for a place to have our evening meal. The first impression of the outside of the restaurant sold it too us. We were greeted with a smile and answered a question about Gluten free options. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, very efficient and a credit to the restaurant. Food was fantastic, arrived in good time. Prices were better than some big chain restaurants and food/service ten times better. Will definitely be back next time we visit Liverpool and encourage friends to visit.. Special mention to Rachael and Zach. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable..

Looked like a nice place, the service was good. The food however was not great for the price. I had the carbanara and it was a bit stodgy rather than creamy and some of the pasta was stuck together.

Went in just to have a pudding, after being in a place where the music was so loud, we could not wait to get out. By the time we got here the kitchen had closed, but the lovely staff bent over backwards to do us something. Good service, and a much better atmosphere in which to eat, can be found in Liverpool City Centre, with pleasant staff, and at least somewhere where you can talk, not have to shout at each other acrosss the table to have a conversation.

Joined family here for a meal. Service was excellent but food was not as good as we expected. We ordered a Carbonara with extra chicken unfortunately you could hardly find the extra chicken. Chicken Caesar salad but the dressing was very watery and the salad leaves a little soggy. The pasta arabiata was good & the pepperoni pizza with salad was good. Definitely better places to stop for lunch

Stylish and cozy restaurant. The service is very friendly. The caramelized duck was incredibly good!!! The dessert too: hazelnut ice cream with coffee, wonderful.

Went here today we had the lunch menu for £11.95 for two courses it was lovely well worth the small amount of cost, had starter and a main course but had a full price dessert the restaurant was bright and lovely the staff were really great would recommend to everyone.
