The best restaurants serving Italian food in Bromley London

Cafe by the bus stop with bright decor and lighting. Average size shop so has good number of tables and 2 baby chairs which is handy, as there was a mother and baby already there when I entered. Good menu. There a number (5 or 6) other customers came and went during the 1 hour I was eating lunch. Food and service was good. All in all pleasant cafe for locals etc. and not expensive.

So much more than just a high street cafe. I had the best home made vegan ice cream ever in there today. It is a proud authentic Italian family run business with a diverse menu and Antonella makes the majority of the items on the menu from scratch. Myself and my friend also had the most amazing vegan breakfast with extremely generous portion sizes which was reasonably priced. Definitely will be back. Xx

Amazing Gelato! As good as I've tasted in the UK!

Lugana is normally one of my favourite places to eat - somewhere I recommend to friends , and return to time and time again. That’s why my latest visit was such a letdown. Typically Lugana delivers on every front; warm hospitality, delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. This time, however, things didn’t quite come together. Service was unusually slow and indifferent- a far cry from the attentive staff I am used to. Waiting staff rushed past, missing visual cues that attention was required. When they did come, they looked over or through us. Food took a very long time to come- so long in fact that we skipped dessert it was so late. The patrons were loud, the music was loud which prevented easy conversation between our party. To their credit, the menu and food preparation are still bright spots in the evening. The food, when it did arrive, was as usual excellent (one incorrect dish - the person taking the order was looking over the top of us, not listening to us) but undeniably delicious. Overall however the evening didn’t live up to the high standards I have come to expect from Lugana. Given their track record, I’m willing to chalk this up as a one off. I look forward to giving them another chance. Hopefully, next time they’ll remind me why they became a favourite in the first place. UPDATE: After a disappointing visit I was pleasantly surprised when the restaurant personally reached out to apologize and take responsibility. Their sincerity and commitment to making things right really stood out. While our experience that night wasn’t great, I appreciate the effort they’ve made and will give them another try soon. Un gran lugar escondido justo al lado de la calle principal. Fuimos aquí para la cena y recibimos una cálida bienvenida del personal amable y tuvimos una cena encantadora, en un entorno agradable. Parecía haber un número de habituales allí, lo que siempre es una buena señal, especialmente porque este era un martes cuando las cosas pueden estar más tranquilas. La comida era de buena calidad y bien presentada. El restaurante ofrece una serie de especiales nocturnos, diferentes cada noche - estuvimos allí para la oferta de Steak Night que entiendo que se ejecuta cada martes y sin duda volveríamos (para eso, o para probar el resto del menú).

Excellent atmosphere and felt welcome. Menu slightly limited but dishes are cooked well and nicely presented. We have our favourites and never disappointed.

Love this cafe, wont seem much as you walk past it but a hidden gem for sure. I will surely class this best cafe in 5 miles radius. Choice of food, quality, selection of coffee and teas. Service is great and quick. You wont be disappointed. Parking behind the cafe. Nice place to meet with friends or kids

I came here with my girlfriend and had the best pizza we’ve had in ages. It can be tricky to find amazing authentic Italian Pizza - but we sure found it here! Thin and crispy pizza like you find in Northern Italy. Gianni is a real pro and made us feel so welcome. My Italian girlfriend had a Romana pizza and was over the moon about it. I’m vegan and Gianni offered to use vegan cheese if I grabbed some from the shop next door. In the end I had a vegetariana loaded up with Veg and it was incredible. Easy 5 star, it’s small so worth booking in advance! Thanks Gianni!

Service was so bad, food took incredibly long to come out and when it did, the waitress kept asking us if we wanted to pack our food up or if we were still going (mid eating!). We had to ask several times for out starters as it took over 45 minutes to come out. The restaurant was well overpriced in relation to the very poor service.

Ordered a pizza with goats cheese, the pizza arrived without goats cheese when I mentioned this I was told ‘I put mozzarella’, quite disappointing. I would have appreciated this had been mentioned to me before bringing the pizza out to me, I could perhaps choose an alternative. We won’t be dining there again.

Food was average for prices. Place is pretty and well maintained.

Three of us visited on a Saturday lunchtime before heading off to the football which was a 15 minutes walk away. Strangely, because the food and service were first class, we were the only customers in there. I have no doubt that it was much busier in the evening. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Service was good and friendly, nice quiet lunchtime atmosphere with good food and wine. We were Unhurried whilst staff were attentive A little limited for the menu but nice specials. Loved the king prawns.

We booked this restaurant for my daughter’s 18th birthday. This was mentioned when I booked, and again, quietly to one of the waiters during the meal. The meals we ordered were mostly excellent. However, the risotto pollo certainly wasn’t one of the best. There were other diners in the restaurant who were also celebrating a birthday. The servers acknowledged them and were very attentive and sang happy birthday. I think it would have been a lovely gesture if they had maybe done the same for my daughter’s 18th, being a special birthday. Disappointing to be treated differently.

Franco Manca service in Bromley is always very friendly and welcoming.Our Host Elvire provided great service 👍👍Pizza is always good, particularly my Son is enjoying it a lot.
