Baturello Cafe Pizzeria in Bromley

Ordered a pizza with goats cheese, the pizza arrived without goats cheese when I mentioned this I was told ‘I put mozzarella’, quite disappointing. I would have appreciated this had been mentioned to me before bringing the pizza out to me, I could perhaps choose an alternative. We won’t be dining there again.

Pizza was burned , felt like dough from supermarket.

Myself my work college dined here tonight. Was presented with a menu with prices on which seemed reasonable. When presented with bill in which took about 4 times after which we had swiped our company card got an hand written bill will no vat number and 2 cans of rio charged at £4 pound each. And a service charge of £5.20 even though the gentleman serving cooked and served the food. Avoid

Appauled to be so overly ripped off. Service fee charged on chef service, £8 for 2 cans of pop. Poor receipt could go on. Disgusted

I've ordered one pizza and It was black and overcooked. The plate for pasta was broken and the table was full of dust outside where we eat, they don't even clean it in the time we were there. Also there's only one choice of beer which I think is very overpriced.

Went here tonight. Lovely service. Had a great starter to share and then 2 pizzas. They were brilliant. Very authentic Italian pizzas. Great flavours. Highly recommend.

Authentic Italian food with a friendly, local feel. Great place to eat in for a relaxed family meal. I recommend the pizza.

The best local Italian pizza restaurant. Both the pizzas and pastas are excellent. The restaurant is so authentic and if the weather is decent it is nice to sit outside in the evening. It is family owned so the service and attention is good. Really good value compared with the large restaurant chain and the food is on a another level. Local gem!

I visited this place with my two kids whilst on our half term fun days out. The service was fantastic. The place was spotless. The food was so tasty, the Mediterranean breakfast especially was delicious. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals and ice cream. Would definitely make a trip to Eden park just to visit this establishment again.

The pizza is excellent! I am very fussy when it comes to pizza and Baturello’s was a very pleasant surprise - crispy enough from crust to centre to be able to hold a slice in one hand without it slopping down in a wet mess like most other pizzerias. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole pizza and the authenticity of the menu and would absolutely return again.

Reasonable food, not expensive, not really recommended.

Top place, lovely staff. Eat in here once or twice a month for the last two years

My wife and I were in Beckenham for a funeral and ate at Baturello the night before. Lovely food and wine, gracious service and modestly priced. It is not the sort of place to gain a Michelin star but you leave it lighter in spirit and happier of mind - and replete. Highly recommended. Thank you .

Baturello recently had a refurb and it’s looking good. Popped in on Tuesday evening for a pizza and few drinks with a friend for my birthday. Great authentic Sicilian Pizza. Friendly service. Had a great chat with the owner/chef too. Highly recommended. Glad this place has survived the pandemic.

I am sitting right now having omelette and a coffee, yes took a bite before photo as i couldn't wait. Great pit top before a wedding at langley park which is only 8 mins walk away. Smashing omlette and so tasty. Good choice on menu for brunch or lunch. Indoor and out door eating and also parking nearby. Find it next to the mot centre.

Lovely food and good menu with both brunch and lunch items. Felt very comfortbale on my own. I was going to a wedding at Langley Park which is 8 mins walk from here i and came early on the train. This lovely place is opposite the train station. 5 stars

We’ve been coming here for quite a while now and when we can’t visit we’ll grab a take away or delivery. The owners have put so much effort into building this little gem and the Pizzas are the best for miles around. It’s family run with friendly staff. Go try soon; you seriously won’t regret it. It’s our ‘go to place’ for a pizza; but they do some great weekend specials too …. I guess the last reviewer just had a bad day - we’ve eaten hear numerous times with wonderful service and food.

Full set of stars: Service - the nicest people ever; Coffee - best coffee I had (and I drink a loooot of coffees) Food - we had 3 types of pizza and bruschetta) - amazing. Highly Recommended! We will be back for sure! Room for improvement: chefs need to sing louder :)

Another wonderful family meal at Baturello. Service by Barbara excellent, as always, and new addition to menu explained by chef Salvatore. Food delicious.

My wife and I went to this restaurant with high hopes. The waitress there ruined our experience. She was slow and was just uninterested in providing any sort of service. She preferred to watch us from the bar as if to give the impression that we were going to leave without paying! We ordered the pizza and it was good. The Chef was very friendly and nice. We ordered garlic bread for starters, and it was super bland and what was worse was that the garlic bread seemed to have a thick few thick chunks of charcoal under it! This only backs up my complaint of an uncaring, unprofessional waitress who told us they have an electric oven so it couldn’t be charcoal, what a liar! When we asked for the bill the waitress gave a lame excuse to why the card machine was not available and that she was sorry that she didn't tell us that when we first came. I had to line up and get cash from the Sainsburys nearby. The overall experience would have been nice if it wasn't for this rude inattentive waitress.

I first tried Baturello's in the summer with the kids when Eat Out to Help Out was on. They have cute little tables outside and straightaway their pizza was a massive hit with us. It's thin, crispy and really well priced. The children's menu is really reasonable and portion sizes are amazing, the kids' pizza was enough even for my enormous 12 year old. Since then we've been back about 6 times! The owner/chef is so friendly and chats to you about the food. I even try out my terrible rusty Italian on him and he doesn't seem to mind. My husband says it's the best Calzone he's ever had and I can recommend the tuna pizza and the avocado/tomato/mozzarella salad. They also do seafood but we haven't tried that. The wine is good and they have this amazing creamy version of limoncello. We love it, it's our new favourite local for birthday meals or even if I just can't be bothered to cook!

I ordered from here based on previous reviews. Worst pizza and chips that I have ever been served. The pizza was not even sliced and the taste was revolting. The chips were cold and had a strange taste. Disappointed and will certainly not order from here ever again.

It’s OPEN and doing ‘Eat out to help out’ This place was just starting to get a reputation earlier this year... but then COVID struck. However, it’s back open. Tonight it is rammed - inside and out, the staff are flat out but the food and personal service is still so strong. Forget the posh Italian restaurants and the chains around here - if you LOVE pizza there is ONLY one place - here

Amazing, traditional pizza! Cant believe I have just found this place. Best pizza I have had in London... we ordered the Capricciosa, Double Pepperoni, Diavola which was spicy and delicious and the lasagna during lockdown by delivery the whole family loved it! Can't wait to order again even better eat in would highly recommend

What an amazing pizza! this pizzeria is absolutely incredible. The owner of this pizzeria is originally from Sicily. A real Italian experience. My daughter loves to come here and have dinner.
