The gelato and coffee are exceptional. I refuse to take my children for 'ice cream' anywhere else. Service is always a bit meh, but tolerable as the gelato just can't be beat!

I had such a wonderful experience at Unico Gelato in Bromley, and Jade made it even better! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I walked in. Jade’s knowledge of the different gelato flavors was impressive, and she helped me choose the perfect combination to suit my taste. Her warm and professional demeanor truly stood out and made the visit special. The gelato itself was amazing—so fresh and flavorful—but it was Jade’s exceptional customer service that made the experience unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

In the heart of Bromley this Italian coffee and cake shop was a pleasure to visit Very clean and bright shop with two behind the counter personnel smart ,informative ie about the cakes serving us coffee and the cake Which incidentally was delicious Worth popping in after or even during your shopping in a busy town

Small but pleasantly airy cafe on the Broadway part of the High Street, with outside tables for warmer weather. I have only sampled coffee and croissant but they were fine. My only adverse comment is that the service, whilst willing, can be a little haphazard. Both we and another customer I observed had to remind the waiting staff of missing food items. I was pleasantly surprised to see alcohol being served (presecco?).

But here's their real superpower: not only is the coffee out of this world, but the team behind it is a dream team of caffeinated heroes! Always welcoming, they know my order before I even say it, I feel so spoiled! I’m always greeted with a smile by the lovely team members, Jade is a creative poet, always there to make your day, while Katie is the sweet one, gentle and kind. A big shout-out to the managers Edyta and Andrea who make my whole experience extremely pleasurable and are taking care of each and every individual customer. I’m so happy every time I see them interact with the others, truly this has become a second home with lots of laughter, great coffee, gelato and cakes. I love Unico I go there daily. The food and drinks are amazing as well as the staff. The reason for the 1 star review is because of an experience I had in there recently. Maybe a boss/manager was extremely rude to one of the employees and it made me question the regulations of how they treat staff. The girl serving was extremely kind and such a delight and this woman spoke to her very poorly.

Ice cream is probably the best that I had in London, but the service is not great. Team members they were talking between them and ignored me completely. After I asked if someone can clean the table, but nobody came.

Came for a quick coffee and treat with my son and was surprised with the kindness and lovely approach from the staff members. Glad i did stop …. Even after my little one make a huge mess at the bench with his ice cream, they were incredibly kind to make him not feeling upseat! Truly recommend…. And the coffee? Absolutely perfect (note im working with same industry elsewhere)… The ice cream? Speachless…. Yummy gelato Thank you

Every time I am in Bromley I treat myself to one of their coffees and sometimes a cake too. Great experience so far. Coffee is not bitter and full of flavour. Cakes are good too.

One word here is my “dream cafe” I would like to build one day. So clean, so professional. A little treat I got calls canoccini was soo tasty! Oh I could eat all display 😃

I ordered a birthday cake and unfortunately it's a very disappointing experience. Placed an order online for a small gelato cake 2 weeks in advance for collection. Clearly stated the cake is for my son's 12 yo birthday(see photo). Upon arriving at the store, the staff could not find my cake, then said I didn't put my personalised request on the right box. What's the note section for then ? Isn't that clear enough for you to put a few words on the cake ?? Nevermind I needed a cake. I was given a normal cake from the big freezer ( whats the point of me ordering online in advance ??) No coolant or ice pack given for the gelato cake takeaway- Nevermind, I got my own ice packs and cool bag ready. But look at the size of the box, it's ridiculously big for the size of my cake. I told the staff the cake is going to move and smash. But that is the only box they have I was told. The box is so big that it won't fit inside my large cool bag. There was clearly some damage on the side of the cake when I got home. The cake is not even placed in the middle of the plate !! Taste wise its ok. But it's more sorbet than gelato. I believe I was given a wrong cake since its just one they took out from the general large freezer. Very disappointed customer

Absolutely yes and yes! I have tried a few ice cream places over this summer and I have found Unico the best for it's size & flavors. It was a personal recommendation to give it a go from a friend and we literately messaged him to thank you for it. Pistachio, peanut, ferrero, coconut all wonderful flavors! The staff was super friendly and helpful too. We will be back soon 🙂 Ps they have more shops in London.

Best ice cream you can buy! Been going here for years, very nice team as well :) my favourite flavours have to be pistachio, coconut and lemon (sorbet) which appears to be new.

Excellent ice cream, never thought I could have a proper Italian ice cream in England, and yet, this is possibly the best ice cream I've had. Staff was also friendly and the cleanliness and coziness of the environment is excellent.

We have recently rediscovered Unico in Bromley after not being in for a long time. I liked how the inside area has become larger with more seating. Really nice pastries, especially filled crosaints - pistachio and cream are my favourites! And you can get a great deal if visiting before 12pm - £4.95 for crossaint and a coffee! I might regret sharing this because crosaints do sell out! Oh and coffee is very very good! You won't get gigantic sizes but what makes up for the size is the taste. Very creamy and smooth. I like that they open early too. Will be our new go-to morning place.

Bad costumer service no smile and arrogant

Had very pleasant cake there, service with a smile. Clean tables out and in. Thoroughly recommended.

Caffe is ok but they don’t have customers toilet which as far as I’m concerned by law they should have one, staff tells you to go to the Glade shopping centre or KFC and today shopping centre was totally closed and KFC toilettes were broken, not aceptable.

Finally got to try the Bomba, was tiny and dry, could have done with more artichoke cream, not worth £6. Cakes were better.

Very rude staff and bad service

Went here with friends. I love the lemon tart however to my disappointment it had shrunk!! It used to be bigger and rounder now its tiny rectangular thing. Ordered coffee and it was strange as the milk was served to us in coffee cup and the actual coffee separately. We needed to add the coffee to the milk!

Poor poor service. Popped in here for a coffee and was tempted by a picture of their winter hot chocolate as it had whipped cream and all the toppings. Got served a hot chocolate and when I asked for the cream was then told they didn’t have any with a dirty look. If I was told earlier I would have gone for a normal coffee

We're regular visitors to Bromley store, always enjoyed their Gelato and other side products including the coffee. However, last week we went to the store at 6:30pm and closing time was 7pm for that day. The lady working in the store said we're only serving Gelato and that's what we wanted, but when I asked to sit with my family, she said they've packed away all tables and seats, it was my little son's b'day and we just wanted to sit for 10minutes maximum to enjoy the Gelato and cut a small cake that we had on us, but she didn't agree. I said the store closing time is 7pm, to which she argued that yes it's until 7pm but only 'takeaway'. When it came to ordering Gelato, she then informs us that they've run out of Pistachio, which was the only flavour we were there for. We just bought a vanilla one for my son, moved on and left the store. But the whole unpleasant tone of that female staff member and not willing to give us a table and seat (within their operating hours) just left the whole experience a bit sour for us. Not very good work ethics or customer service skill set, hence the reason for a 3 star rating overall.

Nice cakes for a tea time treat

Quick turnaround and delivery. Delicious Cannoncino custard and Gianduiotto, but a bit tiny for the price though. Would love to try the savoury items but always out of stock. Hopefully will try the store soon.

Popped in here to have a rest while shopping on the Wednesday after Christmas. Bromley was very quiet. We had an excellent caffe latte and a cream croissant each for £10. Very nice with friendly staff.

Today I finally tried the Italian café on the high street of Bromley. Relaxed atmosphere even if a little crowded. Also the food displayed- mainly Italian - looks delicious. Regarding the service, I waited for a while for ordering at the till because the barista was writing something down. At least, they brought my order to the table. Disappointed for the fact that the table wasn’t clean but they didn’t pass the spry. They did it once I finished…not very nice! Anyway, the food is delicious, I ordered a croissant with pistachio cream and a flatwhite. The prices are very fair. Next time I’ll try some gelato take away.

We always go there when we're out and about in Bromley for coffee, ice cream or even for a sweet treat. It's dog friendly too so for us it ticks all the boxes!

It was great! The coffee was delicious and we really recommend the chocolate chip Sicilian cannoli. The staff members were really nice and the presentation was great. It is colourful and welcoming. Absolutely recommend.

Expensive ice cream and sorbet. It was just a treat for my daughter but wouldn't visit again. The place also looks a bit tatty with scuffed furniture and floors. Staff not very friendly either.

Avoid - absolute rip off. £3.40 for a latte in the tiniest cup that literally had three mouthfuls in it.

Good gelato. However half the portion was sticking to the gelato spade and the employee thought "Ok that's it, unlucky". This happened for both flavours and the end product was clearly half the size of what it was meant to be on the picture shown. I didn't bother to complain. In the end £5.50 is expensive for a small gelato.

I bought 4 cannoli and a two scoop ice cream cone and it was only until I got home that saw I had been overcharged!! The gelato is always lovely but the cannoli is not an authentic cannoli, how can you sell a cannoli that is only filled with whipped cream and no taste/ sign of ricotta!!

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's second birthday and the staff wrote 'Happy 2th Birthday Alyssa', the year was written incorrectly and the writing was messy. I asked if they could correct it and they said there is nothing they could do. I suggested that they should at least give us a freebie and they gave us a pack of chocolate covered wafers. In my opinion, still not good enough. When I got home, I easily picked off the 'th' after the 2, which made me think why the staff couldn't have just done that. The cake was fine, we ordered a pistachio and dark chocolate flavour, which both flavours were lacking. My son happily ate it though because he thought it was mint flavoured. I was searching high and low for an ice-cream cake and was hoping this would be the one where I would be a repeat customer since there aren't many ice-cream cake sellers around. I have to say I was really disappointed with the flavour and service. I will not be a returning customer.

There is only one thing that let this down there was No public facilities when I asked they told me they do not have any any and go down road I thought any cafe etc that had seating were legally obliged to have facilities Lemon meringue and cheesecake were lovely

2 stars for service. I went with my family, was a queue by the ice creams and it was moving very slowly. It looked like there might have been a queue forming by the checkout and since we didnt want ice cream, my dad went there and asked the server politely if it was a seperate queue. She said no and we moved back to the original queue, no problems. Whilst we were doing this she commented, within earshot of us to another customer waiting "Thats so annoying". I think it was rude and unprofessional of the employees to talk like this within earshot.

Been to decathlon in Bromley South. Tumbled upon this gem on our way back. The coffee was very good. My foccacia sandwich was excellent. My wife enjoyed the mini tartlets. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

Absolutely outrageous. Visited here on a Monday morning to find uncovered croissants- not to mention the flies swarming around the supposed “sandwiches”. My friend also came for a chocolate cake of some kind as they call it, thus found something small in the cake that looked dark and surely not an ingredient of the cake. The lady took pictures of it and offered her a new cake. I am appalled of the hygiene standards and will not be visiting any longer.

My favourite café in Bromley since it opened several years back. While the staff seemed to have changed and lost some focus, and the pastries continue to disappoint, I can't bring myself to knock off a star for the following reasons: 1. The americano with milk 2. The biscotti gelato 3. It closes at 9PM Cafés close at 4-5pm on the regular in London, and they should be ashamed, but not Unico; superb coffee and gelato deep into the evening.

I do often go to this bar .. cappuccino, espresso gelato etc are not bad at all generally the standard is very good for an Italian bar in London .. the problem is about the staff too sad atmosphere just like robots are following the orders . For my point of view nothing to do whit an Italian bar
