Don Giovanni Restaurant in Bromley

We decided to visit Don Giovanni for a celebration meal, and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic, and the service made the experience even better. I had the set menu, which was brilliant value for money, my partner ate from the normal.menu, which was reasonably priced too! Our waiter made the experience all the more enjoyable! Highly recommend

Have been here many times over the years for various occasions and the food and service is always amazing. Have sampled many of the wines on offer, which are consistently good. Tables are well spaced and there is a relaxing atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Me and my husband went to Don Giovani to celebrate our anniversary, was our first visit even though we live in the area for almost 4 years! We always wanted to go there and our visit could be better!! The staff was so friendly with us during all the nigh. The food was amazing. So I looking forward to be back soon!!

I took a group of 27 people to this restaurant on a saturday night. We were very well looked after the service was first class, and the food amazing. Anything we asked for was provided without question. We were the last to leave, but the was no pressure, we were able to finish our evening as we wanted. Throughly reccomend Don Giovanni a great place, where like we were, you will be made most welcome, and provided with great food, and great value

This was our second visit with many family members and was just as good as the first time. The staff were brilliant at promptly serving the food and keeping our glasses topped up while remaining unobtrusive. The food was excellent and having 14 people pre order many different items from the menu was no problem to them as it all arrived, at the same time and all freshly prepared.

Lovely meal with fresh ingredients, well cooked and hot. Excellent selection and reasonably priced. Friendly and attentive service…. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The restaurant is clean and the staff are very attentive. The food is very nice, enough to eat and not too expensive.

Look I almost never do this, but just felt I should record how impressed I was with a family trip to this restaurant. Ambience and service great, but oh the food! I had tiger prawns with mushrooms in a light curry sauce which was one of the best dishes I can recall eating. Followed up with calves liver with bacon, onions and gravy, which was also quite stunning. Family members were similarly happy with their choices. I know this is all subjective but do give the place a try. It was only half full on a Saturday evening. We should be supporting these gems.

Booked table over the phone, they couldn’t have been nicer, arrived a few minutes late but no issue to the staff, lovely wine list, great choice of starters & mains on offer along with daily specials, one of which we had, lobster linguine, the flavours of all our food was amazing, the staff were very attentive & so very nice, I would highly recommend this restaurant & I look forward to my return.

Came here on a Tuesday evening the service was excellent along with the food, the house red was rather good too. I would highly recommend.

The worse experience of my life, the restaurant is extremely run down. Service was dire. To top it off, they served rotten sea bass. I threw up three times after eating there, looking back the fish was a bit too fishy. Food was bland, and extremely basic. £20 for rotten fish bland fish. When phoning to warn them and for them to stop serving they gave my wife a lot of abuse over the phone and hung up on her. DO NOT VISIT

I came here with my Mum and Dad on a Saturday night at the end of July. This is a great local restaurant. Service was excellent, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and well priced. The aubergine parmigiana (Melanzane) was a thing of beauty and my veal was cooked to perfection. The parents really enjoyed it too. Great find, just wish I’d have found it sooner!

My husband and I went for dinner here on Saturday night and what a fantastic place. Staff are fabulous.... welcoming, funny and attentive and don't rush you at any point. The food is absolutely delicious.... everything we had was perfect. We love Italian and are quite hard to please but this place is spot on. It will now become our regular and we were amazed at what a bargain it was. Cannot rate them highly enough. We love them!

I had not been here for a while but I was so impressed with our visit tonight. I would like to point out the 3 main things that stood out: 1) The social distancing and hygiene was so well enforced, if anyone is nervous about dining out please come to this restaurant as they have managed it so well and you do not feel on edge at all. 2) The service from the waiters was outstanding, they made our night so enjoyable and it almost felt like we were back in “old normal days”. No ask was too much and they were so friendly and attentive. Should you visit one of the top London Restaurants you wouldn’t receive better service! 3) The food- well as someone who does not enjoy the normal chain Italians I can honestly say that this restaurant is the reason why. Pure, authentic food which is outstanding is why I want to encourage others to visit. The variety and flavours on the menu want you coming back for more. I cannot recommend Don Giovanni enough. Without fail this is the most enjoyable and flavoursome meal we have had for a very long time.

What a hidden gem. Had never been before but after a great meal last night can’t understand why not and will be going back. A great menu with really good specials with friendly and accommodating staff. Looking forward to my next visit

Male staff withdrawn and unfriendly. Swordfish tasteless and very small. Chicken tough and mussel closed in risotto. Biscuits with cheese stale. No time for coffee as slow service. Far from cheap and will not return.

really good appetizers excellent first courses a little less for sweets comfortable environment and location with Italian style you feel at home .. truly professional waiters to recommend I will back !!!

This was a Birthday celebration, only 3 of us and this was very expensive. We could have gone central London for less. The food was okay, but very 1980's, as is the decor. The service was unprofessional, not rude, just very unsure. Just disappointed.

Solíamos ir al restaurante don giovannis con bastante frecuencia cuando teníamos una familia viviendo en Bromley, pero esto fue hace unos 15 años y siempre recordamos que la comida era deliciosa y auténtica cocina italiana, razón por la cual decidimos volver allí para comer en 19 de agosto, a pesar de que nuestra familia se ha mudado del áreaEl menú se veía genial, pero para nuestra consternación, la comida era normal, realmente no sabía muy bien, la mayoría de los platos principales que se servían estaban bastante secos e incluso el linguini de marisco se servía seco con casi nada de salsa, por lo general puedes trapee la hermosa salsa de tomate a base de pescado de Italia, pero aquí no tiene un sabor muy seco y soso. Un típico italiano familiar que está tan bien atendido. Tienen mucho personal, y es como si te hubieran invitado a cenar en su casa. La comida es buena, no excepcional, pero el ambiente y la bienvenida son excepcionales. Solía haber tantos italianos como este en Londres, pero ya no hay más, así que vale la pena el viaje.

Mi esposo y yo recientemente fuimos al almuerzo del aniversario de bodas de oro de mi prima aquí, cerca de donde ella vive. La comida de 3 platos era fantástica; todo el almuerzo fue muy bien manejado y el personal muy servicial y amable. La comida, que elegimos de antemano, fue rápida y tranquilamente servida para nosotros y estaba caliente, sabrosa y deliciosa. Toda la experiencia fue buena y tenemos recuerdos felices de esa tarde, ayudados por el encantador personal de este restaurante.

Wowowow! Great food! We lived in Bromley for 12 years and this was our first visit, we will be back for more! Amazing local gem!

We went for Mother’s Day lunch with the family and young kids. We all had 3 courses and every course was simple with no thrills just cooked and presented really well with just the right portion sizes. The choc fudge cake and the apple pie I would highly recommend. The service was extremely high end and attentive. The waiters joking around with the kids made it even more pleasurable. 100% returning!

Last sun 24/3 arranged a birthday party for 34 people. Shukri and his staff were amazing--the food was great all delivered without a hitch--the seating arrangements were done to accomadate everyone comforttably --it certainly was a day to remember

Worst experience - we arrived and was put in a corner. Myself and my partner wasn’t drinking and we where asked numerous times as to why. Then mid way through my starter hey kept putting wine menus out. Basically got the impression they were loosing money on us as a table the waiter kept asking if we where planning on going else where after or staying .. we had paid £100 deposit anyway as we carried it over from not being able to go xmas day ( glad we didn’t ) then we had two cokes each and the three course meal ( which was also terrible) my partner had lobster dish for starter whIch was a pool of flavoured water and 4 hArd prawns no lobster to be seen? We went to this restaurant for a New Years Eve meal. A deposit of £20 had to be given which is understandable. We understand the food is cordon bleu, however the portions were incredibly small. The starter which was melon was still partially frozen, the soup was luke warm, the main course which was a meat option we had chosen was very nice but a very very small portion, the vegetables that consisted of a very small floret of brocolli, some small mange tout, a few carrots that didnt even equate to a whole carrot between my meal and the other persons and three very small sautè potatoes, the portions were very sparce and could have fitted in the centre of a child's palm. The food tasted reasonable not anything outstanding tov be perfectly honest. The menu had no coffees to offer to end the meal with. Between myself and my friend We paid £166.00 which we feel was over-priced for the amount they served. This review is not sour grapes, just plain honesty. Portion size is not very good and left us still feeling very hungry. Perhaps we should have eaten before going to the restaurant. Apologies but this is a factual comment that needed to be aired.

We have been here a few times and both the service and food really are 5 stars. The staff are super attentive and friendly. Seems a family owned business. Great Italian food for any night of the week!

Had a wonderful meal here on Friday. The service and food are second to none. We both had the scollops and prawns from the specials board. Yummy, every mouthful a delight. I had the monk fish also recommended.

Visited for date night and the staff are just lovely and welcoming. The food is so tasty and I am always accommodated being vegan. The food is incredibly reasonably priced considering the quality and the wine and cocktails are delicious! Very nice atmosphere and highly recommend for anyone in the area.

We have been for lunch a couple of times and really enjoyed the food and service but we went there for Christmas lunch second sitting. The service was hopeless and the staff obviously very tired. It was a huge disappointment. I should have refused to pay the full bill at the time. It has put us off ever going out for Christmas lunch again.

Absolutely gorgeous food and very pleasant surroundings. The waiters are very attentive and professional. A really nice night out and somewhere 'special' right on our own doorstep. A lovely evening, well worth it. Thank you.

Have visited Don Giovanni 4 times already and every time they are absolutely spot on with the food but most of all, the hospitality they provide.

We went to this restaurant for my elderly Mums birthday, and was so pleased with the Sunday lunch, We could not fault anything the staff were amazing and greeted us when entering restaurant , the food was delicious and would highly recommend this restaurant. Good value and outstanding service and food.

Was invited to don Giovanni in Bromley I have to say wow haven’t tasted fresh food for along time you could taste the difference it’s a shame this restaurant is not in in town but it’s worth complaining no to me

We were made very welcome as we entered the restaurant -a genuine welcome The restaurant was really well furnished ,white table linen, and linen napkins ,the tables well laid out for couples and parties ,extremely clean and well lit and very clean toilets . The staff were very attentive ,friendly without rushing us ,they explained the dishes and took orders for drinks as we were serenaded by an excellent singer pianist .An extensive menu to all tastes but most important true Italian

We went as a family of 8 yesterday for a family celebration. Great service and great food. Could not fault our experience.

Visited on a Saturday evening. Friendly welcome, good table. Asked for steak to be in medallions, but it was brought up in once large piece - although it tasted delicious! Broccoli slightly overcooked and mushy, but other set veg good. Really would like to give 5*. Staff very personable and really great service. On leaving staff wished us all the best for a good Sunday.

Four of us went and had a very nice meal. Seafood Pasta with added lobster was very good. Everything we ate was excellent. Service was spot on. It is a little pricey but you pay for what you get. Highly reccomended.

My dad suggested this place as he had been here previously. We had the set menu which was £19.95 for 3 courses. I had the bruschetta which really tasty and fresh, the others had the chicken & prawn salad and the mushrooms and they enjoyed theirs. For mains I had the king prawn and courgette pasta, which again was fresh and tasty and light for a pasta dish. The others had the calves liver and pork medallions, they were served with sautéed potatoes and veg, which they loved, then dessert, I had sorbet which lovely and the others had the trio of creme brûlée and brandy snap baskets with mascarpone and strawberries.

This is the best restaurant in Bromley. I have been to this restaurant many times for both casual and occasion dining. The last time was just me and my wife but have been with our family including our toddler grandchild. Service as always attentive but not overbearing. The set menu is excellent value and the a la carte has a good range of dishes and the quality is always high. The two meze starter choices are well worth trying. There is always a good choice of fish options as well as meat and pasta ones. The wine list has a reasonable range both in price and style.

I’ve been here a few times but this was a first visit for my bf. The service is always friendly but can sometimes be a bit slow. The food is always lovely and my fussy bf is still raving about how good his main was. I’m so glad to see the trio of brulees is back on the menu too as it is my favourite desert. I hope to be back again soon

Now I'm hard to please and gave these guys a bit of a hard time but they handled it impeccably. The restaurant is lovely clean and spacious almost a toach of luxury. Can't believe this was my first visit since I moved to the area over 30 years ago. None of your jammed packed tables here all of which had nice clean white linen on. I asked for apple pie with custard though custard wasent on the menu. Not a word or flinch from the waiter and behold it arrived with custard. Amazing. Good joice of food and reasonably priced set meals. Yes at the moment I highly recommend it though I had to teach them how to use the credit machine fully. Lol Think this is one of very few ive given 5 stars to.

Went in on a Tuesday with my 17 year old son. After the snow, the place was nice and warm, the wine very good as was the food. Service was excellent and they were always looking to see if we needed something. Had the crab ravioli and pasta Carbonara and mixed creme brulee for dessert. All was very good. Will definitely come back again.

Would love to be regulars at this restuarant, the food is lovely, but we save going here for special occasions, the fillet steak is always beautifully cooked, the fish, the skate in particular is always cooked to perfection, try the shared starter.

Went there for a friends birthday lunch on Sunday. Fantastic food, wine, champagne, and service. staff very friendly and attentive. Really good. Only been here once before but will definitely go again. Lovely for us all to be sitting on a round table too.

Well, that'll teach me to trust TripAdvisor ratings..I had reserved a meal for my parents, Auntie and my wife and daughter based on the great reviews this restaurant has. At first everything was fine, the starters were decent and I enjoyed he Gnocchi with Chorizo. However things went pear-shaped when we ordered our mains (all from the a la carte menu). It took the best part of an hour during which the frustrated looks on our faces didn't seem to register with either the waiters or the manager. My feelings of embarrassment having recommended this place only grew when the food that did arrive was not what was expected! Instead of Lamb shank we got overcooked lamb slices with pots and Yorkshire puddings etc!? Why the hell would anyone serve this mediocre pub food in and Italian restaurant is beyond me! No apology, explanation or free food was given and it's clear the place was short staffed and didn't have enough lamb shank so just made do with whatever scraps were lying around...I could have (and have) done a better job at home. Meh!

6 of us arrived for a birthday celebration. The table was spacious and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and efficient, sorting out pre-drinks immediately. The menu is comprehensive and varied as is the reasonably priced wine list. Perfectly cooked pasta and steak, delicious bread and olives, everyone really enjoyed their meals except me because both my starter of mussels and main of seafood pasta were over seasoned with salt. It was strange because no one else’s food had too much salt in it so maybe it was just my shellfish that were very salty on the night. Anyway, the wine was very good and my dessert of lemon sorbet was absolutely delicious. The other desserts looked made to order and were similarly very good. The after dinner liqueurs were really great value. Overall, I thought the service was a little slow but we were having such a good time that no one seemed to mind. The bill at a touch over £55 per head including the tip was very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back and I really recommend this place - it’s the best Italian restaurant in the area by far.

It’s quite nice for couples, if only a little dated. Very friendly restaurant owner and the food is of good quality. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about. Worth a try.

We have driven past this restaurant numerous times and this time I booked on impulse on a Tuesday night. We were most suprised when we entered the restaurant as it was much larger inside than it looked from the outside.

We have just discovered this lovely Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, freshly cooked, wonderful vegetables cooked to perfection and basically everything living up to expectations. The staff are gracious, caring and first class creating an easy relaxed atmosphere but with attention to detail. We had a large family celebration and everything went smoothly and efficiently providing us with a memorable evening. Would certainly recommend and will be visiting again.

Fantastic food service and ambience. The meal was absolutely faultless, cannot recommend this place highly enough me and my friend are real foodies and we wanted to lick the plate it was so lovely. We had pork and salmon, trio of brûlées absolutely lovely.

Yesterday I celebrated my 60th birthday a this restaurant and I must say it was a lovely lunchtime venue. It was booked as a surprise for me and it turned out to be a great birthday. The staff were wonderful and attentive in that Italian manner. We're intending to spend Christmas day there, if we can get in, and shall supply a review after that.

I haven't been here for years but went for an evening out with girlfriends this week and was pleasantly surprised . I would have probably given in 3 stars but with a fairly comprehensive 3 course menu for £19.95 I think it deserves 4 stars . I had baked avocado and prawn starter which was pretty tasty ( a little bread to mop up the juices would have been nice ) . My main was pork escalope with sautéed potatoes and veg - pretty good . My sticky toffee pudding didn't taste home made - that was disappointing - tasted a bit plastic - but my friends had the trio of brûlées and enjoyed them . The staff were pleasant and we had a fun evening .I'd definitely go again for the set menu . Not sure if I'd be willing to pay a la Carte prices

I cant believe its nearly two years since I first visited this little piece of Italia. I had a table for six this week and the food was very good. We did rather over indulge in the vino colapso, the Fluerie was a real treat and great value at just over £30.00 a bottle. Recommended.

One year ago we held our small wedding reception in the conservatory space at the back of the restaurant and we are so glad we did. The quality of the service and most importantly the food was faultless. The owner couldn't do enough to help us personalise the evening, and the addition of a full restaurant meant the atmosphere was fantastic.We recently decided to return to celebrate our first anniversary and had a much more intimate meal, and with the addition of fantastic entertainment (a keyboard player/singer who was anything but cheesy), we again had an amazing evening. A great value three course set menu is offered alongside the a la carte menu.As this is not a high street chain the atmosphere feels authentic and intimate (the owner/manager happily chats to his guests to make them feel really welcome), and although it is family-friendly it seems to have a slightly older crowd who really appreciate the superb food the restaurant offers.

Went on a Friday evening with family. This was my first visit. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was very good indeed. I had avocado and prawns followed by home cooked lasagne, hardly adventurous I know. There was a great selection on the menu and all 4 of us had different dishes, and enjoyed them all. Will be visiting again for sure.

Not visited for a while so was dubious as to whether standard was still as good. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing, service & staff attentive, will definitely visit again soon!

Come here a lot to eat on special occasions and we always have a good meal and the staff are really lovely and friendly. The food is good and they can do anything you ask for which is great.

Seven of us ate here on Mothers Day and although the food was excellent the service was slow, we had to chase up our drinks which were eventually served but were not the drinks we ordered. We waited almost half an hour to get a menu. I felt that adding a service charge of 10% was unfair as we didn't get any service.

Recommended by our friends, we booked a Friday night out for four. Arrived at seven but service was so slow by the time our starters came we didn't debate the prawns missing from prawn, avocado and mushroom in boiled cream, thinking we must have ordered a Vegan option by mistake. (No one came to ask if all was fine, staff obviously stretched.) Looking at the menu next day, they had left out the prawns. By eight thirty I enquired when the main course might come. I was told they had a big party of 30. (We could hear them.) I responded, do you mean it's best not to book when you have a party here?? The linguine clams came soon after and was at best mediocre. Puddings were fine. Too tired and hungry and didn't want to embarrass friends who'd recommended. Won't be back.

We were a group of 10 (then 11) meeting up for a celebration on Mothers' Day of all days. As we came from various parts of England, this was the most central location. I booked the restaurant blind having read the TA Reviews.The location is not prepossessing but don't be put off; once inside you're in a different, classy friendly, Italian world. The food was delicious as was the wine. The service was professional but friendly and jokey. When one extra arrived to join us for a drink, they were not fazed. We had a brilliant time. The only downside is that I live so far away, that I'm unlikely to travel the 130 miles to frequent this restaurant regularly.

My husband and I enjoyed an excellent meal here last week. We have visited this restaurant before twice on New Yer's Eve and promised ourselves we would try an evening meal there. We went in early, 6.30pm, and it was fairly quiet but sat on a nice table in the window. There is a good choice of food on the set menu which is £18.95 for three courses. The food was excellent with large portions and nicely cooked vegetables on the side. We were full after two courses and couldn't manage the desserts but we're offered coffee as an alternative which was a nice surprise. We would certainly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again soon.Thank you.

The food was good, however the service was really really slow! Waiting almost two hours for our food to arrive just isn't good enough. The staff were surly, the decor was cold and dated. The restaurant was packed, and even then it lacked atmosphere.

We used to go here often but menu lacked choice. Has a much better menu now and we had an excellent meal. King Prwns in Garlic were fab and Seafood pasta was great too. Service was slow inbetween course waited well over an 1.15 mins for main to come. Will not put us off going back and highly reccomended.

my wife and a friend went after a couple of beers nearby . Staff happy to accomodate us , not the biggest menu but the food we got was really good . slight hiccup with sides not turning up until after mains were finished . However were deducted from the bill without fuss .

We've been here a few times and the food is always good. However, the service is really slow and we took friends here and we were embarrassed by the poor service because it isn't cheap. No one asked us if we wanted a drink when we arrived, our starter took an hour and ten (if I'm generous) minutes to arrive and our main course another 45 minutes after that. We arrived at eight and weren't eating our mains until about 10.20 and in the meantime if we wanted a drink it was a struggle to find anyone to ask - our waiter was nowhere to be seen. It wa so late we didn't want dessert. And when we asked for the bill, cheekily given how bad it was, the service was added to our bill automatically! No doubt because no one would tip otherwise. Such a shame because the food is good and the staff actually are nice - just terribly disorganised and under staffed. So we won't go back I'm afraid and I wouldn't recommend it - there is so much choice why spend that much money and have terrible service when you can go elsewhere

We had a lovely meal here. Wonderful food courteous staff who were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them.The ambience was perfect .We go to this restaurant frequently and they never disappoint I.highly recommend it.

Read the reviews so deserved a visit as was very local to me .. warm atmosphere very friendly waiters, but very slow in asking if we want any more drinks, had to keep asking .. Foo d ok nothing to rush back for , not the cheapest but would recommend but won't be returning myself.

First visit to this restaurant wanted to celebrate valentines early. Had a good meal but found one of the waiters who must have been new and who's English wasn't great causing communication problems rather difficult. All the other staff were polite. I would recommend a visit as it's local and good value for money. Always good to try new places

We had supper for a party of 13 for a 50th Birthday on 4th Feb 2017. Nothing was too much trouble for Shukri the owner and his team. Excellent canapés which we requested, and amazing food and service. The wines are also excellent and very good value.We spent the whole evening and no-one rushed us to leave. The service was attentive and friendly and the music was turned up at the end so we could dance!!Would recommend highly and look forward to returning again.

If you don't mind waiting an hour and a half for food then you'll be okay here. Starters came out wrong but we were hungry so ate them. Then the mains came out about another hour after this. Again the wrong food was served to us. It was cold, smaller portions then other tables who ate previously, the fish was about two mouthfuls in size with no flavour. Could have done a better job myself. It was nowhere near restaurant standard let alone near enough £20. In fairness the table staff were doing the best they could and did not charge us for any of the food.All in all a terrible experience, would never return.

Went to Don Giovanni last night with a group of friends. The food we wonderful and set menu was great value. The waiters are very attentive and charming. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. A really pleasant surprise, will be back again soon.

We don't visit this restaurant often enough. It's on our doorstep, serves great Italian food at reasonable prices and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. We dropped in on Christmas Eve and had a great meal with family. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious and the wine was lovely. We'll be returning very soon.

We have been to Don Giovannis many times and decided to go for Christmas dinner this year. The atmosphere was brilliant, the restaurant was busy but the tables are spaced very well so you aren't sitting on top of anyone. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! The choice on the set menu was brilliant and the Turkey was fabulous. In fact it was so good that we booked for Christmas day next year while we were there!

Have used Don Giovannis three times in last few months for family celebrations and had wonderful food and service

The food was excellent, well done chef, the owner was charming but the waiter was very sour and I believe we interrupted his lunch, shame. The waiter was obsequious, but when serving my client he gave her ice cream not the ordered sorbet and then pretended it was sorbet, as she is dairy intolerant this was very bad news. When she re-iterated that it was not sorbet he bad mannerly rolled his eyes and strolled off. He ungraciously brought the sorbet, but by then the ambience had gone and good will lost. Restaurants do not need people like that it can ruin a restaurant very quickly. A smile occasionally would have been nice and memory of who ordered what, would also have been nice since he took the orders.

Came here with 9 others last night to celebrate my Dads 60th. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses, waiters were friendly and helpful when dealing with allergies. Lovely looking restaurant, highly recommended. Thanks for a great night!

I was privileged to have my 60th birthday bash here on Friday 9th Dec and what a night we had...24 family guests who were wined and dined to perfection eating in the conservatory which is very private ...To come out with 24 starters and dinners at the same time and all piping hot was a big challenge but it was all superb... we had the set menu where there was a varied choice.... all freshly cooked and very tasty .... all the smiley staff were so lovely and friendly and the service was first class and couldn't do enough for us... We were able to have a singer there too with no restrictions... Don Giovanni I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my birthday so special ... lots of love Susie and Graham Taylor x

Came here for my mum's 65th birthday. Lovely wine and cocktails. Food delicious. Not much choice on the menu for vegetarian main meals but they do a main size of any of the starters. Very attentive service and the waiters were very welcoming to my children. Would recommend.

We had a great meal last night at Giovannis. It was out first visit and was well worth it. We were told they had a private dining room for a special celebration so we wanted to check it out. Everything about the place was great. The staff,food and ambience was lovely. The bonus for us is its in walking distance from our home .They also do a set menu, but we ate from the main. My husband said his fillet steak was the best he had ever had. I had sea bass which was gorgeous. The menu was very varied and a lot to choose from.

Great Service, really look after our group of 10. Made a fuss over the birthday girls.Food excellent, good variety and the Roast Beef was perfect.Will come more again !

The Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is quiet and subdued, enabling conversation. Wii certainly go again.

The last time we went a few years ago, it was very bad, service not very poor, food wasn't value for money.We had Sunday lunch, a friend had booked it so had to go.I wasn't expecting much, but it was a massive improvement, staff were very quick, helpful and friendly.The starter, I had soup and meatballs, both very good. The Sunday roast, beef and lamb, lots of it and very tasty, desserts, all very good.Well done, we will definitely be backThe Allen family x

Warm and welcoming staff. Good quality Italian food and amazing desserts. The lobster linguine is always a treat. Calves liver is pretty good as well.
