The best restaurants serving Italian food in Cambridge East of England

Fancied a bit of Italian and luckily found this marvellous establishment. It really was top notch. 👌 As good as my ol' mama's home cooking. She's not from Italy, she's from northolt. But hey! Mamma Mia.

Really excellent food and service 😍 lovely atmosphere, so welcoming. Food was delicious - and great to have a chat with the lovely guy (think the owner?) over which wine to order - fantastic place - definitely be returning! Thank you 🍷

I have been a Aromi's customer for quite a while already. The food and coffee were nice. There are different food options available, depending on your budget. The staff were nice, as always. Glad that the environment and toilets were clean, otherwise it will be a disaster, a biohazard for everyone. As the cafe is so small, the tables are close to each other. Unfortunately it's inevitable, as it's a small cafe located at Cambridge town centre. Rent must be high. Overall it's nothing to fault about.

Excellent venue for our Christmas Party. Food was amazing and the staff were excellent. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening

I always order the decious pizza number 10. Today for the first time it was burnt but Csaba was really nice and replaced it with a fresh pizza free of charge.

We were seated very quickly, but the wait for food was too long. Dishes for two diners were brought in at different times, which meant that one was eating and the other was watching. We’ve never had our water brought in. Waitresses are very friendly but rushed and not very useful. Food was not nice. One dish was overcooked, the other overfilled with 3 types of onions. Overall below average experience for the price paid.

The food is decent, though nothing remarkable—just what you'd expect from an Italian chain. However, the service was disappointing. It felt like the staff couldn't care less about the customers, unless perhaps you were one of their 'favorites.' When they got my order wrong, there wasn’t even a hint of an apology. This will be my last visit to Bella Italia.

Fast becoming my favourite Cambridge Pub. The Italian food is great and the family that run it are always welcoming. Eating lunch there accompanied with young children was a very comfortable experience. There is am extensive range of beers and the coffee is good too.

Amazing sourdough pesto Parma ham and mozzarella panini lovely Italian cafe. Great service very kind. Definitely my favourite cafe in Cambridge

Von dem Marktplatz aus muss man Treppen hinunter gehen, um in das schöne Restaurant zu kommen. Da es über keine Fenster verfügt, hat man fast den Eindruck in eine Club/Bar atmospäre zu kommen. Was eigentlich sehr schön ist. Es gibt kleine Alcoven und Ecken zum gemütlichen Sitzen, aber auch Tische, die sich nach dem Zusammenschieben für größere Gruppen eignen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, nett und flott. Die Getränke gut und das Essen sehr lecker und frisch.

The restaurant experience was expensive, with a Margherita pizza priced at £14.57. They added a 20% VAT and a 10% tip.

I pay for expensive food but I demand adequate flavor and quantity. The lasagna is very small and I felt frustrated because of that. I don't recommend it for that reason!
