A great location to enjoy delicious pasta and pizza while looking out at the river! The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere, making it perfect for a date. The staff were very polite and I would love to come back. I recommend making a reservation.

Lija was wonderful and took great care of us. Her timing was perfect in taking our order and cleaning up our dishes and checked back with us on drinks, etc. She was very friendly and we felt like we were a guest in her home. Also would highly recommend the food here, delicious!

Visited Prezzo Cambridge with my family. We had a nice time at the restaurant. Though we did not have a reservation the team made an effort to accommodate our party of 5 with a pram. The food was fresh and tasty and the the staff attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend a visit.

Perfect location over looking the River Cam. Staff were very good for a group of 6 ladies. Our server Ewa was especially patient with us and accommodating with our fussy eaters. Food was great quality and plenty of choice.

We eat here quite often on the way to the theatre. There is a good choice of food, nicely presented, and the staff are always friendly and quick. In good weather it's lovely to sit outside by the river.

It's a rare day that a restaurant experience motivates me to write up a review, but that day has come. The first time I went to Prezzo, I was sufficiently disappointed to leave them my details whilst complaining on their website. Armed with my email address, they then gave me a voucher offering me a main for just £1. Like a fool, I accepted it! I went to Prezzo for a second time, and it was no better than the first. To give them their due, both the starters and the drinks are well done, if small for the price. The real stars of the show (circus?) are the mains. These are marked with such a violent mediocrity that to complain about them is to give them far more attention than they deserve. They weren't offensively bad, but they were painfully boring - under seasoned - I would trust any half competent cook to replicate them at home at a tenth of the cost. If I can dissuade just one person from visiting this restaurant, then I will be satisfied. There are scores of other restaurants in Cambridge, and you would be better off at any one of them than here.

we waited more than 30 minutes to bring us starter, then they didn't bring us second courses. the food was undercooked, i don’t recommend it.

Had a difficult time looking for halal food in Cambridge. Although prezzo isn't a halal restaraunt, Ewa helped us choose halal options and made sure we were not given anything that contained pork or alcohol in our meals. We appreciate Ewa's kindness and patience! 🙌🏽

The food was absolutely outstanding.Full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The ambiance was lovely and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. There was a bit of a delay in being approached and having our order taken, but overall it was a very good experience. I’d definitely visit again for the food and atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant expecting a quality dining experience due to its prime location, but I left very disappointed. The portion sizes were shockingly small probably the smallest I’ve seen in Cambridge town centre. I ordered a burger that arrived on its own with no chips or salad on a side. Although the pasta was tasty, the portion was far too small to be satisfying. Service was disappointing. We waited around 40 minutes after finishing our starter, only to be told they were “waiting for us to finish,” despite the table having been cleared long before. The dining environment was uncomfortable too tables and chairs crammed together. Overall, this was a frustrating, overpriced, and underwhelming experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Wanted to sit outside by the river but was told we could only sit around the corner on a table for two in the red hot sun..others in the shade were only for 4 people Didn't have any Guinness left which was what I wanted .Food arrived was very small portions of spaghetti Bolognese.The sauce was warm at best and the spaghetti was very cold .very disappointed.Only bonus was we had a discount voucher to use so made it slightly cheaper

Chicken overcooked burnt hard edges, pizza had very little cheese or fillings on it. Chips were nice.

Poor quality food. Little chicken bacon or cream on the spaghetti dish. Cheap cafe standard. Lager was good.

Atrocious servers, excellent food. Love all the vegan options too. Had 2 different servers who would ask if you needed anything and then walk away before you could even answer. Had to get up to go ask them multiple times to order more. They don’t want your money I guess ?

My chicken was overcooked and the accompanying spaghetti was bland, my husband enjoyed his dish.

Food was superb as always but service was really slow, we waited almost an hour to get our starters. Also toilets were not very clean!

This is a regular haunt for a leisurely lunch. The staff are excellent and the venue well situated, clean and nicely busy. The prices are reasonable and the house wine perfectly acceptable but the food is very average - it’s not a venue for a foodie!

The restaurant has a very picturesque setting by the river. Service was excellent and the food was very tasty.

We ordered a hummus plate as a side, we received a plate that was merely dirty with hummus, I would say 30g of hummus spread with a spoon, some dried arugula on the side and some canned pepper, and very dried something that was supposed to be bread. Very disappointed, prices higher than central London.

Used the Three voucher to get a £5 pasta for lunch - had vegan spag bol. Was really nice and a good sized portion. Eleanor who served me was really friendly and efficient.

Bustling casual pizza and pasta chain in central Cambridge. Overlooking the Cam easy going menu with the usual choices. Pepperoni pizza, lasagne, garlic bread etc. Nothing to write home about but hot food in the middle of the city with nothing too adventurous.

There's a really good male waiter here that will advise pregnant women on what they should and shouldn't be eating.

Brilliant service, lovely food, hot and fresh, great value and the staff were really attentive. Couldn't fault it.

Claimed to deliver in 20-40 minutes. In reality I did not receive my pizza until almost an HOUR AND A HALF after I ordered. To make matters worse, after hours of anticipation I received a lukewarm at best soggy pizza. I have WASTED my £10 voucher on this sorry excuse for a pizza and my disappointment is immeasurable. I hope Prezzo improves its service but it has just lost a valuable customer.

Prezzo is one of our favourite restaurants, offering delicious food and superb service. On our last visit I asked to change the table because it was near the door, causing draughts. Not only did a super friendly waitress offer us a new table (despite it being a busy evening) but also brought a heater! How thoughtful 😍 the food and drinks were delicious as always!

Lovely food Great service A bit overpriced. Just a bit too small of a space. We were sitting next to 2 couples who were talking so loud we couldn t hear our toughts let alone have a decent conversation.

Fabulous place with amazing food and excellent staff

We're visiting from San Francisco, foodie Central area with fabulous food, so we weren't sure what to expect. Food was amazing, and the service was even better. Our son was touring the University and we didn't have much time, but they were able to accommodate us. Got us in and out in 30 minutes. The lasagna and the calzone are some of the best I've ever tasted.

Mini Portions It's a very expensive and popular location, so the rent must be crazy. The portions of the food are really small. Looking around other tables, their food looked very small too. I think the food portion is the smallest in the Cambridge town centre. The pasta tasted good. No deny. Very expensive in terms of the portions. Still hungry after the pasta. The tables and seats are very close to each other. Crazily close. Together with the strong heating of the restaurant, it's hard to breathe.

The restaurant experience was expensive, with a Margherita pizza priced at £14.57. They added a 20% VAT and a 10% tip.

Estaba en la ciudad por la tarde y necesitaba tomar una cena rápida: Pedí que me sentaran afuera junto a una hermosa vista del canal y todos los punts. Bebí un Prosecco seco encantador, era el único en el menú, pero eso es comprensible dado el alcance del restaurante. Pedí dos entrantes; las albóndigas y los calamares, que se servían rápidamente y permanecían calientes. Un italiano llamado Riccardo sirvió mi vino y una señora llamada Eleanor sirvió mi comida. Todo en una comida encantadora, muy muy feliz. Gracias.

Mi marido y yo visitamos aquí ayer. Soy un gran fanático del prezzo y solo sabía que la comida y el servicio sería fantástico como siempre. Me equivoqué. Pedí calabacín sin gluten y pizza de aceituna negra. Llegó tibio con una cantidad absolutamente mínima de queso. Hablé con la empleada que me aseguró que así se sirve esa pizza. Era de mal gusto, aunque ella tuvo la amabilidad de dar Queso parmesano. Nunca he estado decepcionado con el prezzo hasta ahora. Otra cuestión que quisiera añadir es la formación del nuevo personal. Había un niño que ha estado trabajando allí solo 2 semanas. Entiendo que los "novatos" se equivocarán ocasionalmente, sin embargo... Creo que estos problemas NO deben abordarse frente a los clientes. Cuando te digo esto fue CONSTANTE. Recogiendo todo lo que hizo mal. No solo es poco profesional, también es embarazoso para los miembros del personal.

We came at this joint to collect our pizzas worth £30 and had to use the washroom aswell. We were five people the staff is really arrogant i think the manager probably. She said to us the public toilet is outside our shop and was very arrogant The food was good

Went here to have pizzas thought I was gonna throw up Im not sure how or whats in it exactly but the pizza tasted so off. Not even worth the price. The only good about this restaurant was the decor. The waiters were rude and gave such bad impressions. They were judgmental and unprofessional. The atmosphere was ruined as a result due to the waitres being rude,the long wait for food which I could have done a whole lap around cambridge by then and the food made me feel ill to the point I thought I had food poisioning. Always had bad experiences with this place but I brushed it off but now I cant. Went here for my birthday and they were rude and impatient and burnt the candles off my cake which ruined it and had ash on it as you can see on the sides of the cake in the photo. The waiters were even more annoyed and rude when I didnt tip for their unprofessional behaviour. I dont suggest anyone coming here unless you want to waste money and have the best experience of being on the toliet and dealing with rude staff.

Had a lovely birthday dinner here last Saturday.We hadn't booked but the friendly lady at reception asked us yo return in half an hour and she would save us a table.The king prawn spaghetti was perfectly spiced and the chicken saltimbocca was delicious.I also had a voucher for a bottle of wine, the Trebiana I was served was a perfect accompaniment for the food. Sat outside with views over the Cam.Riccardo was the most polite and friendly waiter.Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We booked for 7pm but arrived 530pm and was accepted early. Amazing food, highly recommend the saltimbocca chicken sage, perfectly cooked, I thoroughly enjoyed it! My partner had pizza and chips which she said was mega!!

I've been to Prezzo many times in Cambridge and the staff are always really nice. On Saturday at 1.30pm, my wife and I decided we would like to go for some lunch at Prezzo again. On arrival we were greeted by a lady I believe is called Carina. She said "do you want to sit outside in the sun, or inside?". I burn quite easily so I said "inside please". Carina went off to look for a table inside. While we were waiting we noticed a table outside, but in the shade. When she came back we said "can we sit on that table in the shade?". Her reply was unbelievably rude, she yelled "YOU TOLD ME YOU WANTED A TABLE INSIDE!" We couldn't believe what was happening, she sat us down and walked off. My wife suggested we quickly leave just in case she started causing an argument or something. I've spent probably over a thousand pounds in that restaurant. I'll never go back there again now though. She isn't a happy smiley type of person, I noticed her the other day working there and looking grumpy. She would be better off washing dishes away from customers. There is no excuse for bad manners like hers!

Came here as was staying in Cambridge for my birthday. Restaurant looked cleaned and tidy. Staff were Friendly and helpful. Food arrived quickly and hot and was delicious. OK priced. Had views over the river Cam. Definitely will go back when in Cambridge next. Highly recommend.

Prezzo used to be my favourite restaurant to go to back in the teens. Since lock down. Everytime I go it's a disappointment. Last I been was just over a year ago. I thought was great. So left for a while and still isn't probably got worst. Burrata with tomatoes. Basic for £9 starter. I tried the new format Pinsa with chicken and peppers and again below my expectations. Best thing about it it's the location and staff were good too. Pizza express and Zizzi are much better nowadays if you wish to go to a franchise like for like. I think will leave another year before returning.

Estupendo entorno junto al río, aunque ligeramente malcriado por las empresas de juegos de azar todo el ajetreo en frente. Tenía una gran mesa afuera. La limonada siciliana de fresa silvestre estaba deliciosa el día muy caluroso que visitamos. Los raviolis de espinacas y queso de cabra también estaban muy sabrosos. Servicio amable. ¡Los vales Tesco clubcard usados tienen un gran valor!

Nos sentamos afuera para cenar en una hermosa tarde soleada de julio. Llegamos temprano, pero esto no causó problemas y el personal amable y educado nos mostró a nuestra mesa. El entorno con vistas al río realmente es precioso, y el vino era muy agradable. Desafortunadamente, aunque la comida no coincidía con el entorno, el vino y el personal de servicio. Pedimos pasta (una era GF (no había muchas otras opciones de GF)), pero ambas encontraron que la pasta tenía un precio excesivo, estaba demasiado cocinada y era completamente abrumadora. Basándome en la comida, he tenido mi primera y última visita a Prezzo.

Great food, they have a lot of spicey things if you like spicey. The service is great, but takes sometimes a bit time. The atmosphere was fine.

My Husband booked a table in advance for a surprise 30th birthday. We had a table for 12. We had starters and mains. 2 vegetarians and 1 gluten free and all needs catered for. The food was delicious. Staff were friendly They do add a service charge on so be aware if don't like paying this. Taxis rank outside of restaurant. Near the river.
