The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Food was lovely. However I got home today to a parking ticket. We was shown to our table we had booked. Not once we're we told to put our registration number into machine, otherwise we would of. This has put us of attending again

Dined here this afternoon after winning a competition. We had the 3 course lunch menu & it was great from start to finish. The 3 ladies serving were lovely. Chefs were polite. Yummy food & fast service. Thank you.

Poor service from front of house. The place is half empty, it's 2.10pm, and he won't be taking any walk ins until 2.30. Bad business as we were a group of 6 not to mention a bad attitude

Visitamos este encantador restaurante italiano junto al río en Otley en el día de Morhers. Estábamos reservados para las primeras horas de la tarde y nos sentamos a nuestra mesa de inmediato. El restaurante tiene mesas dentro de un invernadero al entrar que tiene vistas directas a la orilla del río. En el interior hay mesas y una pequeña selección de productos alimenticios italianos en la recepción para comprar. Nos llevaron arriba, que tiene grandes vistas también, dados nuestros menús y bebidas pedidos tomados un poco más tarde. Había 2 / 3 opciones de cursos para el Domingo de Madres con entrantes, pastas, carnes , pescado y opciones vegetarianas. La comida era bastante sabrosa, aunque nuestra red tardamos un poco más en llegar. El personal es amable y educado. Los baños están limpios, aunque un poco apretados. Aparcamiento fuera.

I advise everyone to steer clear of this place the icecream is ok however I did not get to Finnish my portion doe to the fact that a man who I assume is the manager would not stop staring at my breasts which made me very uncomfortable and prompted me to leave

Amazing restaurant, amazing service, amazing food & wine! Our server Victoria was very attentive & nothing was too much trouble for her or any of the staff. I was given a lovely plate for my birthday & was even sung to! Thank you all for a wonderful experience on my special birthday.

visited here yesterday (27/1/2025) as an impromptu dinner with my best friend… it was lovely!!! food was incredible and sergio made us feel incredibly welcome, the seafood was DELICIOUS and so was there spaghetti bolognaise… decor was so sweet and really wholesome, we got chatting to sergio and he told us all about his family, just a brilliant man to talk to in experience… we will absolutely be returning!!

Food was good but lacked taste. I had the salmon and they provided a yellow sauce. It tasted like mayonnaise with yellow food die. It would be nice if it had some flavor. The waiter we had, a tall guy seemed very bored with his job, was not friendly and only did the minimum to get the job done. I guess that there are a lot of tourists and they resent having to feed us. Teach your staff to smile and say a few kind words.

Fabulous Pizzas , very tasty with good quality ingredients. Staff worked very well as a team , well organised and a calm kitchen

Two of us visited, having booked a table for 8PM. They close at 10, so plenty of time for dinner, you'd have thought - but no. Felt rushed to order (and not because we were got distracted talking instead of looking at the menu) Starters were good but no time was taken on presentation. My hummus was still smeared down the side of the bowl from serving up. We'd barely eaten the last mouthful when the waitress came back to the table, not to ask if we were finished with the starters, but armed with the main course. I'd ordered pancetta as an additional topping to my pizza, which was missing. When I brought this up, they apologised and said they could bring my some out. I was then handed a bowl of raw prosciutto (which I like, and couldn't be bothered to correct) but I did ask that it be cooked, and they obliged. No-one else came into the restaurant after us, so the other tables had started to leave at this point. They'd started to close up around us. I used to own a pub, so know staff want to do some bits to close down where they can, but it was clear they wanted to get us out of there. We were too full for dessert, and as soon as we informed them of this, they really started to get ramp up making us feel rushed out. I asked for the bill & paid. Whilst finishing our drinks, we could hear the staff talking. The chef was leaving, asking about whether he'd see the others tomorrow. We heard them discussing who was working, that there was a member of staff that wasn't in because she'd refused to work with the chef any more & actually asked for a transfer to different restaurant. Not the kind of thing that should be discussed around other customers. I checked my bank this morning, and saw that I paid the bill at 20:55! An hour before they were due to close! So absolutely insane that we were made to feel like those people who turn up 5 minutes before the kitchen closes, inconveniencing everyone. All in all, the food was okay, and it was nice to catch up with my mum over dinner, but the whole experience could have been a LOT better. As stated in my title, I always leave a tip, but last night I didn't. The restaurant was quiet, there was plenty of time before closing, there was ample capacity for the staff to provide a good service, which just didn't materialise.

Dough balls were burnt black to a crisp and didn’t come in separate boxes

Fabulous dining experience for lunch great friendly staff and at a reasonable price would recommend it to everyone

Excellent staff, very good food and speedy service. We went back twice. Good location too.

Food was mediocre, not much flavour and quite expensive for what it is. Beautiful atmosphere though very relaxed.
