Wonderful restaurant excellent food one of my favourites in Bury St Ed’s.

Just the two of us, we pre booked just in case as it was a Saturday night. Had a lovely evening being able to sit a talk while enjoying a great meal. James our server was very friendly and attentive. This is our first time at Prezzo and very impressed.

James was a fantastic waiter, chatty and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The food was tasty and freshly cooked also well presented. The staff were friendly and didn't keep asking if everything was okay like some restaurants do. A bit expensive for what we had but will still visit again.

We had the best food with our host James who was brilliant. Very thoughtful and always ready to help when we needed extra napkins or water for the table. I would highly recommend. James you rock, man!

I had a chicken caesar salad it was really well made and very tasty. James was a great help from the moment we walked in, helping us with recommendations of drinks and food for my family and was also very quick with everything.

We had to send back a main meal as it was cold and also ordered a hot dessert which was served cold. Our meal was booked for 4pm and we didn’t leave until after 7 we waited over an hour between starter and main course. Service staff also served food without bringing cutlery. No toilet roll in ladies toilets. Overall very disappointing as we love Prezzo and chose to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday here but unfortunately wasn’t a pleasant experience and has put me off of returning.

Ordered five meals. One meal we had to return-pasta rigatoni dish-£20-pasta overcooked, very little sauce, could’ve made better myself at home.we then ordered another meal. Bearing in mind four of us had our meals we then had to wait for another meal, carbonarra to be cooked. This should’ve been done as a matter of urgency but we were waiting ages and seems like this was put at the bottom of the list of meals to be cooked. Not good enough.

Amazing experience!! Service was incredible, served by James, who was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some nice recommendations. The food was amazing, I can’t wait to come back!

I came last month, we were not greeted with a smile. We were being rushed with our ordering. Most of our meals were cold and had to send them back. My meal was not brought out and when I asked they said they would bring it with the other meal that was being reheated. The food was very bland and portion sizes were poor. The staff were very rude and unpleasant. The service charge of £20 was also put on top which we took off. The food was very expensive for what you got and I could have made it better at home. Terrible service and food. I would not return here again.

Still my favourite restaurant in town, but sadly the menu has become even more limited. I don't like Rigatoni and I have little interest in pizza so what's left is pretty sparce. Shame, I hope this is going to improve soon, or shall be going less.

The food was excellent as were the staff. Unfortunately two small children spoilt the experience for everyone. One actually screaming for at least 10 minutes!!!! Perhaps a lesson learnt would be to seat them at the back of the restaurant away from adult diners. I know from experience my own grandchildren would have been removed by a parent and have been in the past.

This was a leaving do for a colleague, there were 12 of us. We all had drinks, main and desert. Staff very friendly and courteous and top marks for getting all the food out at the same time! Which was scrummy by the way! We did the two for one challenge and won 👏 and we had a 50% off food code. So a very cheap night out for us - I don’t know how you do it! But thank you very much - we all enjoyed every minute.

The staff were nice but rushed and service was a bit hit and miss. I ordered the bottomless wine. I’m not sure when the 90 minutes started but we waited so long for our first drinks that they arrived after our starter. I ordered beef with mash only to be told there was no mash. Clearly it comes in ready made which is rather disappointing. My daughter’s chicken pasta dish had cold/lukewarm chicken. I paid £119 ( approximately) because we had a 50% food voucher. The original bill was over £180 and what we had would not, in my opinion, have been worth £60 each. We had a noisy large group near us who kept moving around. Large groups happen I know but I would prefer not to be near them so I can actually converse with my companions

We love Prezzo. This was our first time experiencing the 99p promotional offer. The food was no where near as good as it normally is. Portions were smaller as you might expect, the food bland and pizza toppings sparce. The service was awful and the environment with fellow diners was less than desirable. All of a sudden it felt like we were in a very low grade but trying to look good Butlins holiday camp. Staff were inattentive, slow and disrespectful (not the usual standard at all). We were told we had 1 hr at our table and were shifted on canteen style. No sign of restaurant service at all. It was obvious that the clientele were not usual restaurant goers and the staff appeared to have down shifted their mindset and approach accordingly. A complete devalue of the Prezzo brand and horrible customer experience. I shall be very wary of future offers from Prezzo and am left wondering what your desired market segment is and what your new brand will bring. I had been recommending you to friends and family, but I will be sure to revisit everyone in turn and tell them not to bother.

Thought I’d book the 99p for main deal as a treat for my husband and daughter. I had already read that we would need to buy drink each to get the deal. When we got there we were told we could only stay for max 60 mins as they are busy. There were plenty of empty tables around us even when we left so I felt such a short limit was nessassary. Took 15 mins to order and were told my husband wouldn’t qualify if he ordered a pot of tea as we need to order cold drinks. Pizza came out at 30 mins and we did feel rushed and pressured to eat up and get out. My daughter wanted dessert but there wasn’t time. It wasn’t a relaxed meal as we were keeping an eye on our watches. Disappointed

I visited as recieved a token and was very pleasantly surprised. The Pea and goats cheese ravioli was so tasty and the service was attentive and polite. I will certainly return. I prefer it now to the "other" high street pizza restaurant

We were served by Louisa who was very friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food which was nice and hot and enjoyable.

Quickly seen on arrival. Starters came out in good time. Very long wait for main course (wasn’t busy) and I had to chase the food. Waited ages to see someone for the bill, then waited ages after I said I had a voucher to take money off. Servers were very polite but not good timing.

Ordered food via Just Eat and I had been charged for a full portion of the Pancetta Mac & Cheese Bites which I had ordered but didn’t receive. I had instead been given the side of three bites without the dip, etc and despite proving what I had received, I have been refused a refund for the difference by the restaurant! I won’t be ordering again.

Great town centre location. Easy to book and eat for pre-show theatre/concert visit same evening. Staff very attentive, polite and efficient individually and as team.

Service was very slow and lacklustre. We had our disabled daughter with us and they made no effort to accommodate her. We had to move tables and chairs to get her to our table which was at the very back of the restaurant

An absolutely enjoyable experience had by everyone last night. Great service with stunning food.

I did notice that the food loses it's heat quickly which, if you're with others and chat whilst eating the food becomes cold quickly.

The food had all changed! Chicken Caesar salad is crispy chicken and now comes with no garlic bread with it anymore. The burgers were completely different and didn’t come with fries even though they said they lowered the price of the burger it still worked out more expensive. The burger wasn’t the same at all and came minus the dip. No Pepsi Max in bottles just little cans of Coke zero at nearly £4 each. I must say after visiting here regularly too much has changed so until it changes back we will have to look at having our weekend dinner treat elsewhere.

James our server made our experience from the moment he sat us down, he was super friendly and couldn’t do more for us . He was extremely busy but never made us feel rushed and made time to talk to us and our 2 children. The food was delicious as always. It was the perfect way to finish off my husbands birthday!

Was a very busy late afternoon , when we called, didn’t book, walk in as we are not from the area and wasn’t sure where we would eat. Before show at the Apex starter arrived quickly but a short wait for mains, this wasn’t a problem for us as we had time to spare, we asked to look at dessert menu it it didn’t arrive, so we paid and left.. Happy with the meal we had, and glad to see that the restaurant was busy. Would definitely come back..

Prezzo used to be a good value for money restaurant. Decent food at a fair price. Having eaten at the Bury St Edmunds restaurant yesterday, I wouldn't rush back. Frankly, it's put me off the chain. Having been a staple, go to for the family. I can now say I would look elsewhere. It seems like they dish out 2 for 1 deal and money off vouchers whilst hiking all the food and drinks prices to compensate. Seriously, £5 for a bottle of water! £22 for a bland pasta main course. Disappointing.

Such an amazing place to eat with your family! We took our two littles to have lunch as a special easter treat and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and great value for money and our usually picky eaters cleaned their plates completely! Would like to thank our waiter James especially as he was so attentive and friendly throughout our visit and made sure we had the best experience possible :) we will definitely be back!

Very busy i guess because of school half term. Was seated as a party of 3 and told table was needed back after 1 hour 15 mins which was cool. Drinks arrived and starters shortly after. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Sadly it went down hill from there. We had ordered pizza as mains and waited over an hour and had to bring it to the serving staffs attention. I think they had forgotten about us. They apologised and offered free drinks. The pizza arrived and it was ok. When finished we asked to see the manager who came over and apologised. He didn't know we had waited so long and said he was really sorry as they were extremely busy and he would reduce our bill. We already had a 50% off voucher. He totalled it up and took off the drinks but ot still didn't seem to add up. Anyway my partner ended up going through the items and after the 50% off and a small reduction for inconvenience we were a bit happier. We also didn't pay the service charge. The food started off so well but service was shocking. As previously mentioned, on arrival we were told they needed table back but yet we waited over an hour for mains! Overall not a great experience especially as we were visiting the area of Bury St Edmunds. The manager however was very approachable and professional in the way he dealt with us.

We dine at this Prezzo all the time. The menu has changed and is definitely not as appealing. The burger is nowhere near as good, a lot smaller and now doesn’t come with chips! (Even tho they have slightly reduced the price, it still works out more expensive). The chicken caesar salad now doesn’t come with garlic bread and has beaded chicken instead of the grilled. They no longer serve bottled Pepsi max, instead they serve Coke Zero in a can and charge nearly £4 for it. I have to say we were very disappointed today!

I now find the food boring and overpriced.

Food was nice, good, eventually when it arrived. Service was very slow, had to ask for condiments on numerous occasions, waited along time for a glass of water. A real shame this visit as it’s normally brilliant service.

I recently visited Prezzo in Bury St Edmunds with my family and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was perfect throughout our meal. I especially want to mention the outstanding service we received from our waiter, Emila. She was incredibly polite, attentive, and made us feel really well looked after. Her friendly attitude and professionalism added so much to our evening. I would highly recommend this Prezzo location and look forward to coming back again!

Me and my partner popped in for a lunch whilst on our short trip to bury st Edmund's for our anniversary , we were greeted by a enthusiastic and friendly server and were seated instantly! Our server James was very accommodating, our food and drinks were delicious and brought out in good time, the restaurant itself is very clean and very well decorated making the atmosphere to eat in extremely enjoyable. After our meal we then decided to participate in a game of rock paper scissors with James to potentially win 2 desserts for the price of one, unfortunately me and my partner lost to James, but we took it on the chin! Me and my partner will definitely be returning to Prezzo the next time we visit bury st Edmund's, amazingly managed with extremely hard working staff! 👍

Arrived at 17.45, warm welcoming and prompt service. Our starters arrived promptly. However, our mains didn’t arrive for another hour. Reason being they had a large party to serve. I understand things go wrong and get busy. But, an hours wait is excessive, especially when it caused us to be late for our car park ticket by 15 minutes. And considering we left ourselves enough time to get back so this wouldn’t happen. I will now be awaiting for my fine !!

Lovely food, staff are amazing.

We are enjoyed eating delicious Pizza, Pasta and Lasagna. The Prezzo restaurant inside and out it was so nice and good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and professional. We would recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon.

Hate to leave a negative review but our experience here was not good. Pizza looked like a cheap £1 one from a supermarket that hadn’t even been cooked properly. Pasta was watery and not flavourful. Waste of £20+. Service was slow for how busy the restaurant was. Others in the restaurant were also mumbling about the slow service. I understand that things happen, but no apology, explanation etc. was offered. Sadly we will not be returning.

Customer service was great especially from Michael he was so polite and very helpful. Food was all hot and came out very quick.

Poor service from front of house. The place is half empty, it's 2.10pm, and he won't be taking any walk ins until 2.30. Bad business as we were a group of 6 not to mention a bad attitude

Food was brilliant - we both had pizza which were very flavoursome. Restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait very long for our food. We have just had a really lovely meal at Bury St Edmunds Prezzo. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂. The service was very good. They gave us enough time between courses. We had some Foccaccia bread to share as a nibble before we had our main. My husband had the Prezzo Burger and the truffle fries & couldn't fault it. I had the Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni with a side portion of Mac n Cheese bites. Absolutely delicious 😋. I was naughty and had Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dessert and again couldn't fault this. Overall, we both said that we would recommend it to our friends and also go back there ourselves. Well done, folks 👏.

Excellent service and food and drinks

Poor welcome when we walked in. Male restaurant maitre d’ looked down his nose because we hadn’t booked a table. It was 5pm on a Friday and not busy. Great service from the waiters can’t fault it but the food was extremely disappointing. Not returning as plenty of pleasant restaurants and cafes in the area and also better value and atmosphere.

My husband and I went there for valentines and the service was awful! Staff were very blunt and rude. There was almost an hour delay between courses and when we questioned where our food was we were snapped at. Then my Caesar salad came it was warm lettuce, runny sauce and cold garlic bread. There was no cheese. I asked the waitress and she replied I asked you if you wanted sauce or cheese. I explained that the menu said it came with cheese and she that it did not and almost started arguing with me! IMy husband pizza was burnt and 15mins late 1 of our 2 portions of chips appeared, my husband had finished his pizza. The whole thing was just very disappointing and I’m shocked at the service!!!!

25 min wait for drinks. Staff lacked organisation. Poor management (if any?) Tables around us complaining so wasn't the atmosphere we would of expected. Food average. Wouldn't rush back to this branch of Prezzo.
