Pesto Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham

Food was lovely. However I got home today to a parking ticket. We was shown to our table we had booked. Not once we're we told to put our registration number into machine, otherwise we would of. This has put us of attending again

Really nice tasty tapas at a reasonable cost. Kids menu particularly well priced. Very friendly efficient waiting staff. Nice decor and environment. Just had a lovely family meal. Kids liked a lot of what was ordered. A good way to introduce them to new flavours.

This is the BEST restaurant ever! Love it and the food is very good so make sure you go and eat there.You will not want to miss out

Food was delicious and reasonably priced - we were there for a birthday dinner and the staff were happy to bring out a cake for us. Keira was very attentive. My only criticism would be the lack of a dairy alternative for coffee.

Italian restaurant without risotto !!! Warm food not hot Coffee severed was incorrect Then charged for something we did not have leaving the bill incorrect I rest my case possibly one of the worst experiences we have had in a long time

Had a fabulous meal with friends to celebrate a birthday and pre Christmas meal, chose a selection of tapas dishes and everything was delivered quickly by friendly waitresses one of which was called Kiera, everyone commented on how nice and tasty everything was, followed by a small albeit delicious dessert. We bought a cake which was bought out when requested. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon in a nice relaxed atmosphere would definitely recommend and will be back as great value for money

Came as a party of 11 for a birthday and had a fantastic time. Place was beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when it came to helping with ordering the dishes with Italian names. Keira our host was superb the entire time. Made us feel very relaxed and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was superb. It was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had for a long time.

Great food and lovely staff especially Kiera. We went for lunch with our daughter who is a fussy eater, waitress Kiera was so helpful and understanding of our child's dietary requirements and helped us choose appropriate food from the Menu, so thank you so much! Absolutely lovely venue! The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Service was amazing , didnt have to wait ages for drinks or food! Food is always perfect! Came before and had the exact same experience. Definitely recommend and will be coming back in the future. Came for my birthday and didn’t tell them it was my birthday, they noticed my badge and brought out a candle with my dessert. Top notch all round 5* food & service.

Amazing Service by Lizzie! We recently visited Pesto Restaurant to celebrate three birthdays with our family, and Lizzie made our experience truly memorable. She was absolutely fantastic with the children, engaging with them throughout the meal and making them feel so special. Lizzie’s warm personality and patience were clear from the start, and she went above and beyond to ensure everyone at the table was happy. Celebrating multiple birthdays can be a bit chaotic, but Lizzie handled everything with grace and a big smile. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our experience made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, but it was Lizzie’s outstanding service that made the night exceptional. Lizzie was lovely and really helpful with the menu options. As well as great with the kids. She knew exactly what people had ordered and was efficient when people asked questions and swapped. Always smiling despite a chaotic table of 5 kids and 5 adults!

This place is great for an informal meal. We visited with our daughter and son-in-law on a lovely sunny evening. Lots of people sitting outside. Great atmosphere. We had booked a table, we actually sat at the same table as a previous visit. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious. Hot, fresh and very tasty. We had about 14 dishes between us and that was plenty (we were hungry!). We also enjoyed our deserts. All reasonably priced, couldn't fault it at all. One tiny negative was that the toilets were in need of a clean but that is more down to the customers using them! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to visit again soon. Thank you to our waitress Kiera - who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit!

Friendly staff and amazing food. This place has great food and is very reasonably priced with a lovely atmosphere, a real credit to Sutton Coldfeild.

I hope that our first visit will prove to be the first of many. In fact we are already planning a return visit with friends. While on arrival we had to wait for our table we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful and after placing an order at the bar for dinks we were told that the table was now ready. We had in advance viewed the menu online we were still struck by the vast choice of dishes available on the menu and thought we were spoilt for choice. Both my wife and myself decided to other 3 tapas style dishes each and do a bit of a mix and match and share. All of our dishes were served in a speedy manner and hot and very tasty. I know that more than once my wife said she was pleased that we had decided not to order bread to start as it was not needed at all - the dishes were a very decent size indeed. When we got our final bill we also both said it was also very good value. Look forward to returning very soon.

We were a party of 10, they catered for my 50th birthday. Server was attentive and fun, we didn't have to beg to be served like other establishments. Food was great and as it's all small plates you can mix and match what you fancy. All the food was great quality and served at the same time. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a lovely place! I came to meet up with a friend to catch up & we had a nice table for the 2 of us where we could easily chat. The atmosphere was nice & chilled, but it was busy enough to see how popular it is. It was also a great menu - I’m vegan and there was good options for me too. Very reasonably priced at £25 each for a soft drink, a main & a dessert. The staff were great & I have to give Lizzie a mention because she was so lovely & welcoming & made sure we were looked after at all times. Overall a great experience & would definitely recommend.

We came to pesto after a family funeral as a reasonably large group of 10. We booked about 3 days prior and they were able to accommodate it. The staff were all amazing, we were mainly looked after by Emma who went out of her way to take care of us and make sure we had everything we need. The food was nice - honestly it's comforting home cooking type food but what really made this a 5 star meal was the staff. Emma was genuinley amazing and I'm so thankful to her for making what could have been an emotional meal so easy and relaxing!

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, Lizzie always greets us by name and remembers our drinks. She is always efficient, the food is served in a timely manner. It’s always freshly cooked and hot. The menu is very varied and there is always more than enough food.

Absolutely amazing food, love the fact that it's tapas and there such a vast variety to pick from. So much taste to the food, amazingly presented and rapid service. The staff are very polite and smiley, we had Kiera as our server 😀 she was so polite with a big smile on her face. She couldn't do enough for us making sure are food was ok and asking if we wanted anything else. Brilliant service 5 out of 5 for me, will definitely be back again soon.

Use this restaurant on a regular basis and its my most favourite. All the staff are fabulous and our regular server Lizzie is second to none. Great job guys.

We always come herewhen we meet up with our friends, Sue & Norman. The service & staff have always been excellent no matter how busy they are. All the staff are very friendly & welcoming, especially Lizzie who has generally been our waitress, she is very friendly, chatty & efficient. The menu is very impressive with a very wide variety of dishes, all the ones we have ordered have been very tasty and are always hot when served and are generous in size. The staff are ever attentive to our needs. The prices are very competitive. No wonder we'll continue to come here.
