Pizza Pepper in Birmingham

It is a fantastic place to go if you're seeking amazing pizza. It is also clean and well organised. They offer a variety of flavors, and the added mushrooms are top-notch. My order came with a small portion of chips, which were delicious too. It's clear these guys know how to make great food.

I ordered here along with other patients and the food was always great and delivered promptly with no issues. Prices are fair. Great tasting pizzas and always pipping hot. I would not hesitate to recommend and use again. Thanks and I will be returning soon.

The review i can see for pizza pepper is not correct it should be way higher i’ve been going there for a couple of months now with my best mate and they have lovely workers and amazing pizza, matter of fact i’m just waiting for it to open now because i’m craving there pizza right now.

Been going here on and off for years, their pizzas are full of flavour and well seasoned. I’ve never had a bad meal from also reasonably priced.

This use to be my go to place for me and my family for many years ago until one day a grumpy man I can only assume is the manager argued with me about asking for extra toppings demanding I pay for it when all the years before this it was never an issue. I mean we arent even talking meat… we are talking a few extra mushrooms a few extra sweetcorn etc get a grip! He was so rude and humilated me infront of other customers and I could tell his staff in the back were embarrassed by his outburst. Needless to say I never went back, I think management must’ve changed because I had never seen this man before (unless he was just never there) and the taste of the pizza changed. But above all else the attitude of the manager was so uncalled for and put me off going, I’m not sure if he was just having a bad day but he was so angry! You lost a very loyal customer by being so unecessary unreasonable over a few extra mushrooms sweetcorn and peppers what a shame! Let me tell you the place I go to now have no issue with how many toppings are on the pizza because they aren’t pathetic I really hope you find peace angry man. yours truely, Lost customer

Came late and never gave the coleslaw that was included with the deal. Considering the fact that i usually order the most expensive deals should have given something else. But told because i asked for garlic sauce aswel in comments I won't be getting a replacement? I felt rudely spoken to on phone. Not good at keeping loyal customers happy. Thought I'd give it a second chance after last time but let down yet again. Won't be back. You are no longer my usual go to. Had enough. Bring back the old owners.

Must have changed ownership sometime in the past few months as the pizzas were great in the past .. tried 3 times from this place recently thinking they must have been having an "off day" sort of situation and next time would be better, sadly noooo!!! ... no longer fresh and fluffy dough as was the case before... the base hard and solid... hardly any cheese and full of onions for vegan option with pickled jalapenos and a few slices of mushroom...in a nutshell overpriced well done bread with a hint of cheese...not even an excuse of a pizza... utter rubbish!!!

Massively gone down hill!!!! Pizza was not nice at all actually it was disgustingly gross and I never say that about food but this was just awful…not much base pizza sauce which resulted in pizza being extremely dry, the odd toppings thrown on but not enough to call it a pizza! Very less toppings. My kids went to collect and said nothing like it use to be won’t be coming back here again which is such a shame as a local!

Gave extra garlic bread pizza and food was cheap and delicious. Burger was disappointing but not bad. Pizzas were very good and fries were very generous. Would highly recommend. And order from their website, it. Is bettter

Hadn't ordered from pizza pepper in a while always remember their food tasting amazing. We had some guests around yesterday so ordered the mega party deal. 1st of all the food came 30 mins late and when it did arrive it was all cold. But the worst was we had all gotten food poisoning. My family and the guests that had ate the food were all affected with horrible stomach pains and a lot of vomiting. Can safely say we will not be ordering anything from pizza pepper ever again.

Worse pizza we ever had in Birmingham We had 17 " large chick bbq pizza the material was not fresh at all, the quality was very low and for our 4" pepperoni there was a piece of scrap tunna (photos attached ) For large pizza there is a deal of 1 garlic bread + 1 side and what I was given was 2 BAGS of FRIES

Absolutely discussting, the pizza was awful, it had not taste at all. I couldn't taste the tomato sauce. The chips were stale. My partners doner meat was like leather and the garlic bread just tasted like cheese on toast. DO NOT EAT HERE.

£3.99 for 10 mini doughnuts and they are literally asdas mini doughnuts, they were soggy and chocolate was stuck to container lid, absolute joke! Do not waste your money!!

Waited over an hour for food that had been preordered and then ignored when I kept asking how much longer. Finally, Management said they would refund me but wouldn't give any proof that would happen and then ignored me again. Floored a business would treat a paying customer like this. Wouldn't recommend them to an enemy!

Hygiene is a concept this establishment knows nothing about. The tall scruffy man was spitting into the sink the same pizza pans where in.

Ordered Wings Platter, Fries and Garlic bread. This has been my regular order for the past six online Uber Eats orders. Disappointed is an understatement. The wings were some cheap GMO type not as tasty as previous orders, the fries were cold and pale and the wrong order of Cheesy Garlic bread instead of the ordered Garlic bread. Decoded I would contact Pizza Pepper to complain (before writing this review) in order to give the company thechance to do the decent thing and reticfy the order with grace. Wishful thinking! The staff member stated that was the garlic bread. I had to explain that to her that there are three differenttypes of garlic bread and that on a previous order I was sent Garlic Pizza bread instead of garlic bread but let that slide. Another occasion I ordered the Peri Peri Half Chicken, the meat flesh was grey and tasted off. Disgusting. Not today. I waited 25 minutes for a replacement of Garlic bread to be sent and in line with there 'Poor customer service ethos' they were stone cold. This will be the last time I order from this appalling company and avoid eating this poor value food. Imagine, they have been open since 2013 and for the best part of 6 years I avoided buying from them. Wish I had avoided this service altogether. No respect for their customers!

I made an order online to get a call two minutes later, with a man saying ‘ your order has been cancelled you need to go online and order again’. I tried for an explanation and asked about the money I had already paid but he just said order again and put the phone down. So I cal back and ask about my refund if I’m going to order again, as obviously I’m not going to pay twice. He kept repeating ‘it has been cancelled you need to order again, you will get your money back’. I then said I would come to the shop for my money as there was no sign of it anywhere along with no explanation, just someone trying to get me to pay twice. The response I received was, ‘ come to shop, come to the f*****g shop mate, I’m not going to listen to your b******t, come to the f*****g shop,’ and put the phone down. I have had to call an online payment company to get my money back which will take 3-5 working days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! P.S pizza isn’t much good either.

Well me and my partner have just order 2 small pizzas from This establishment the date is the 1st of April 2021! Just letting people be aware they have come contaminated with Human Hair Underneath the cheese and toppings so its not like it has fell on and nobody has noticed. It has then been fully baked not quality checked or inspected and sent out to a customer. We was the last order of the night and the shop is now closed so cant do nothing about it which is a joke! We will not be ordering from this place again it has seriously put us off takeaways for awhile now especially during a god damn viral pandemic and people are sending out food with potentially viral contaminated human hair in food disgrace!

Awful food quality and taste isn't great although food was delivered hot and fries were actually great! The pizza base was awful and my son had dioreah 10 mins after eating the chicken fillet burger then to have dioreah through the night it was quite a bad ordeal. Ordered pizza from here last night, I've bought them from here always and they're usually good however last night when biting in to my pizza I bit something really hard..... I spat it out to find a twig or something in the pizza... I called to tell them and they did ask if I wanted another one, obviously I didn't as it put me off a bit. He then asked me to send a photo so I did and I've had no response. That's the last time I order from them.

Good pizza, good delivery. If you are veg, the chips are not vegetation as oil used to cook other meat items. Pizza is good consistently, become a Friday regular

Great pizza at good prices when collecting

I have spent an inordinate amount of take away money with Pizza Pepper Selly Oak. They even told me on one occasion that I was there best customer! So, you can imagine my disappointment when they get an order wrong (I know that this happens, but it's how you deal with it that its important) and proceed to try and fib me off with £1.50 pence of my £15 order. Not good enough, sorry. So, we agree that next time I order that I should phone the shop (rather than placing my order online) speak with the Hector, who I have just spoken with and a £5 discount will be offered. Long story short, they denied any knowledge of the incident, of having anyone of that name working there, wouldn't be giving me a £5 discount and weren't bothered of I took my business elsewhere. Typical pretend igorance from these types of people. Bye bye Pizza Pepper.

Food was nice. The rating was pushed up to 5 star because although my delivery driver forgot/didn't have my drink...he took it upon himself to visit the local corner shop and purchase an equivalent. Top quality service and a good guy,he went the extra mile and should be recognised 👍

Best pizza restaurant in Selly Oak. I would also recommend getting the dips as they are tasty. Plus Pizza Pepper is also halal which is an added bonus.

Fantastic pizzas made exactly how I wanted. Friendly, fast service. Free fries with every pizza when u collect. I asked for special requirements and they met it perfectly. I love their fries. Thin crust is my choice 😃.

I've always order from here but last night was the worst I ordered two pizza that when we came to eat then were uncooked in the middle like you could literally pull the dough of the pizza when we rang the guy was nice enough to re do our order but upon getting that the pizza were the same uncooked we ended up Bining the lot as it was just dough. Ordered via deliveroo after a very hard shift at work, leaving late and just wanted some food before going back to work to operate again in the morning. Delivered pizza late, deliveroo had cancelled order but charged me according to pizza pepper. The delivery man took pizza and left saying he cannot deliver it. Either deliveroo or pizza peppers problem but very poor service. Manager also said I must sort out problem, instead of offering a solution. In my opinion a very bad service. Could be a one off. But not anything I’ve ever expected before. Manager was very unhelpful and didn’t offer any solution, probably not a good relationship between the venue and deliveroo.

Disappointing order. Started well with a call to confirm order and delivery time. Ended up 45 mins late and they even marked the order as delivered at its due time. It had been a busy Weds night apparently! Warm and slightly soggy pizza.

Top quality as always. Nuggets were especially good. Whole chunks of chicken beat rather than reformed meat.

Ordered the regular pizza with a side, garlic bread and a drink deal. This part is partly my fault for not checking what each size is like first but the regular pizza in my mind should have been a medium, instead it was small. The pizza was nice though. The garlic bread was extremely dry and not very garlicy, I couldn’t eat it all. The BBQ chicken wings however were lovely, I feel like you get a good amount for what you pay for and they were tasty. I had a wait once I got to the place to pick it up but this was fine as I was having chicken and would rather it be done properly.
