Firat was awesome , made us feel at home.

Had an awesome gentleman help us . Friendly kind and made us feel so relaxed . His name is Firat . Food was great and had my Amalfy blood red gin which I always enjoy. The restaurant is beautiful.

Food was ok. The Calbrese was literally a joke. Must have been sausage strike!

Really poor service, 25 minutes wait for a drink , the food arrived and I had to go to the bar myself to find out where the drinks were. Food tasty but luke warm , obviously been standing for a while. Why are San Carlo operating in an airport! Their City centre restaurants are fantastic, this is letting the brand down!

Finn our waiter was lovely really relaxed but professional in a busy atmosphere.

We shared pizzas for a pre flight meal, really tasty. The smell from the kitchen is amazing. Both members of staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming

Although the food was good it was cold and my coffee was spilt in the saucer. Our server was lovely. Maybe the aircon was too high.

Sunday night - so appreciate no one wants to be there. The restaurant maybe had 8 tables being used. The service started waiting 15 mins for my drink order. One member of staff asked whether my order had been taken, only for it to be another 5 minutes to appear. Food when it came was disappointing. Steak was ordered medium rare, it came blue. The rosemary potatoes were tired at best. Staff were more focussed on closing down the restaurant and were actively cleaning under my feet whilst I was eating. It took 10 minutes for my plate to be cleared once finished. Overall a real disappointment. Happy to discuss with management.

The food was amazing the only thing that let it down was I got the spaghetti gamerlina ( Spaghetti with prawns and muscles) and of the 7 muscles I had on my plate 2 I was unable to eat due to being closed... It's abit disappointing from somewhere like this when it's a known concept not to eat closed muscles and I has 2 on my plate.. Other than that the meal was amazing and I feel it's just poor standards or untrained chefs.. Definitely abit of an own goal and something that's 100% avoidable had they taken 20 seconds to check.

Over priced and rushed. Won't be going back. Ordered a calzone pizza with chicken and aubergine and all it was,was a folded cheese pizza!!

If the staff spent more time trying to make the cocktails properly instead of stood around the corner mocking guests accents, they might have actually made a tolerable Espresso Martini.

Very attentive service. Had to get a flight within the hour and was assured I would have time. My pasta dish came very quickly and was just what was needed.

Extremely disappointing experience. Service: Service was slow and forgetful. Our drinks sat on the bar for ages, wrong food was brought to the table. Our server looked like he wanted nothing to do with his job, as if we were a burden for dining. Good timing was also off. Got our appetizers 40 minutes in, before our drinks came. Then entrees over an hour in. Passed on dessert because we didn’t want to be there all night. Food: apps were very good and fresh (pictured below). The entrees were very disappointing. I got the signature lobster pasta, and while the lobster was cooked perfectly, the pasta was cooked too much resulting in a mushy consistency, the sauce had zero flavour, was basically just a smooth coating on the pasta and the peas were mushy. For how expensive it was it was extremely disappointing. The table beside us also returned two dishes so we weren’t the only ones having this experience it’s seems Atmosphere: the space is lovely. No complaints. The dark wood and marble with white table clothes is elegant and inviting.

Service incredibly slow. Coffee cold Breakfast cold Bacon like cardboard Out of the staff there way one nice lady serving us, everyone else looked miserable. Wouldn’t go there again

I would just like to share my experience after witnessing a waiter being spoken to very disrespectfully. I was waiting less than 5 mins to be seated, I was greeted warmly upon arrival, food order was taken in less than 5 mins and delivered to my table in about 10 mins. The food is fresh and amazing and the staff are brilliant. The people complaining said they had been waiting half an hour and were very rude to the staff, they arrived after me and I was seen in 5 mins, no need for it, I thought the staff handled it very well. I will visit again.

Terrible service, took 30 minutes to get a drink after asking 4 times to be served. Food came Luke warm. Disappointing start to the holiday and expensive prices.

I had lunch at this so-called luxury restaurant in the airport, and it was a total letdown. They wouldn’t let us sit by the window, which felt pretty racist, to be honest. The food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get forks. By then, the food was cold and not worth the wait. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth definitely not what I expected from a high end spot.

The service was disappointing. Our requests were delayed, the food arrived cold, and the table lacked proper utensils. For a luxury restaurant, the treatment was far below expectations .

A very good morning, but met with a very poor breakfast. Not just us, you will find other customers leaving a lot of food on their plates. Does this mean the food is good? Unfriendly waiters give you a super slow and unpleasant dining experience.

Busy Saturday at airport - queue wasn't daft, service was good, food and drinks great, other than a Calabrese pizza not having any sausage!

We have had a lovely lunch today whilst waiting for our flight and I had the seafood pasta which was especially delicious!! 10/10! We were swiftly set and got our food in less than 10mins!!! We were kindly served by adriana luisa a very friendly and lovely woman x

Firstly we had a floor manager shouting at staff right next to our table, then shouting cash or card at a customer from 5 meters away!? Our server spilt quite a lot of my coffee into the saucer and then again all over the table when I pointed it out! No apology or offer to replace it!! Then followed up by forgetting one of the drinks, again with no apology? My eggs Benedict arrived cold, and then the replacement food had rock hard sourdough and slightly undercooked eggs. I think some serious staff training is required both from the service aspect, in how to look after customers, and secondly how a manager should act and behave in front of house areas.

My little girl is neuro diverse and the staff especially milly served us speedily and was sensitive to my situation thank you 😊

Service was very poor, we waited for drinks for a very long time and our food had arrived before the drinks. We had to request cutlery, and I ask for some mayonnaise that never came. The food was delicious but we witnessed below par food being served. A waiter said they didn’t feel comfortable serving an over cooked pizza but they said serve it anyway. Perhaps they don’t have to worry about return custom or people having the luxury of hanging around.

We have come in here a few times a year since it opened & it has always been fantastic, however, today I always ask to not have 2 sausages on my breakfast & have extra bacon instead (which has always been accommodated as i dont like sausage) but today even if I didn't have the 2 sausages included I had to pay for extra bacon. That was a disappointment & bad customer service, you can do that anywhere & always here too but no more. Hopefully it will get rectified to the old more customer focused way 🤞

Very quick service despite how busy it was. However prices where abit steep but it’s what you would expect at an airport restaurant.

This place is a real treat and a great way to kick start your holiday. Their breakfast’s are delicious and they serve up a really impressive eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise. The kitchen and serving staff are all really lively and friendly too.

Food was great .. but £4.00 for 3 dashes of soda water ... really shameful !!!

I'm here for the second time, had a spaghetti carbonara...I have to say, once again very tasty! The prices are reasonable for an airport, the service is very friendly and attentive! Gladly again!

While you wait to be seated you can choose what food you want. Most of it is splattered over the menu. One you sat next to the filthy windowcil over looking the airport you can admire the inches of dirt over the kitchen canopy. Look through the execptionally dog earred drinks menu. At least the glasses were clean too hot to actually pick up as straight out the glass washer. Perfect for a cold water. Molly was lovely and food very acceptable however all at airport prices mind. However we were told off for trying to pay as our flight was called. Overall new menus and really good clean would rate this place far higher in my mind.

Very slow service , we were almost ignored even though there were several staff setting tables and moving chairs around when we finished our main meal , we were again ignored , nobody came to ask whether we wanted deserts , coffee etc , in the end we asked for the bill which was brought by an unhappy looking Blond woman , and we left , Cibo for us next time , better service better food !

Visited on 19 July before departing to France, as soon as you come up stairs it’s there and looks very inviting. Staff were wonderful although restaurant was not busy mainly due to not been able to take card payments due to global tech issues. I had a pizza which was nice a bit under done for me, my wife only had bruschetta and said it was ok. The staff made the experience so worth a visit.

I ordered a caprese salad only. It was very expensive for half a tomato and poor quality ingredients. A shame really.

Eggs were undercooked. Everything else was very good. Food delivered on VERY hot plate which was nice but should have mentioned it before I touched it. Server was excellent!! She was friendly, patient, and confirmed my order for accuracy. Thank you, Carla Portland, Maine USA

My pasta meal arrived and was really cold although the dish was really hot, the replacement arrived 15 minutes later which was hot once it has been mixed up. I also asked for Parmesan on my pasta and never received it would not dine here again

Far too expensive £17.95 for a very small portion. Gluten free pasta was undercooked.

We travel abroad 5 or 6 times a year and have always dined at San Carlo. In the past the food and prices have been excellent but on our last visit this changed. Meatballs tastless and chewy also we had to ask for extra sauce. The wine has gone up by a huge amount. We will be dining elsewhere at Manchester Airport

This place is amazing! I had the English breakfast and they were very accommodating to dietary choices. It took a little while for the waitress to take my order, but once the order was made, they were quick to serve the food

What a surprise to find such a quality restaurant in an airport terminal. Fantastic, friendly, efficient staff. Exciting menu with something different for breakfast. Delicious food, fabulous atmosphere a perfect start for our Holliday. I couldn't recommend it more.

I’ve just had breakfast here while waiting for a delayed flight, and yes- it was very tasty- but it is 110% the staff that make the difference here. Honestly. Amazing. It is packed and there has never not been a queue (I was only in the queue for about 4 minutes). Not one of the 7 staff serving the tables have stopped moving, and yet none of them look harried or stressed. The level of professionalism is so impressive. The gentleman who served me was called Kaloyan and despite having several tables to attend to, still ensured that my food was all enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. Everything about the service is seamless, and what’s more is that they all seem to be happy in their work, which makes such a difference. I have been a hospitality manager for over 12 years and I would be incredibly proud of this team, and this organisation in general. Very very well done. 👏🏼
