Waited for more than an hour for the food to come!! The chicken skewers and margarita pizza was good but the pasta was undercooked!!! The seating was very uncomfortable to sit for soo long.

First time in Vapiano and we were greeted with a smile, given choice of table and asked if we’d been before. We hadn’t, so the menu was explained to us and although normal process is to order through qr code on each table we were offered chance to order through Pooja who had greeted us. Felt very welcomed and not rushed. Fresh food and worth the wait. Hope to be back.

Contender for the worst resturant experience I've ever had. The clues were there when the waiting staff had to be reminded twice about our drinks. By this time we had already ordered our meals on the app and paid a 10% tip upfront, so hoped the drinks were an oversight. The meal arrived in good time and we asked if we could have some parmesan cheese. Fifteen minutes later after asking two further staff then the manager, we were given the cheese to sprinkle on our now cold mains. Both mains contained very overdone, barely edible pasta. After the meal I approached the manager to put across my grievances and ask for the tip to be refunded as the meal and service was substandard. He apologised and said he would refund the tip but that it would take three working days to find it's way back into my bank. I still haven't received the refund.

Anna, (some sort of manager I believe ) was excellent. The way she came over with a smile and fixed my concern.. I basically ordered the wrong dish which was my fault and Anna took the plate, sorted it as quick as anything. She is brilliant and thank you Anna for helping me the way you did.

We had an amazing dining experience at Vapiano! The freshly made pasta was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. What truly made our experience stand out, however, was the exceptional service. We unfortunately made a mistake with our order, but Pooja went above and beyond to help us correct it. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism were truly appreciated. We can't wait to come back and enjoy another fantastic meal at Vapiano!

The best pizza in Manchester I have been a restorator and chef for many years so I can tell you if you like a nice pizza just come to Vapiano thank you to the pizza chef and staff. I have to had I have been here many times before also Nissa was fantastic 👏

Shocking food I ordered a carbonara which came and I’ve had better super noodles. As I went the toilet my drink which was half full was gone my table was took. Asked for a refund on the carbonara which they said will take 24-48 hours to go back in my account which never did. Don’t bother going.

Sadly Vapianos has gone downhill. Pasta sauce was watery and the dish didn’t have that usual fresh taste. Bread also wasn’t fresh and stingy with the toppings

The fettuccino alfredo was delicious. The best I've ever had. I also recommend the margarita pizza and definitely try their garlic bread. There is no environment for long sittings. You can't sit in the chair for long. 🙃

Our visit to Vapiano Manchester was a complete disaster. We waited over an hour for our food, alongside several other frustrated customers. The staff were clearly disorganised, with no communication or updates throughout the absurdly long wait. When the food finally arrived, it was completely underwhelming. The pasta was bland, lukewarm, and tasted as if it had been sitting out on the side for ages. We were so fed up that we had to cancel our starters altogether. The entire experience was chaotic and poorly managed. Save yourself the frustration and dine somewhere else—this place isn’t worth your time or money.

I'm not one to moan and leave bad reviews unless absolutely necessary. We visited the restaurant at the weekend with our 3 children. We ordered 3 children's meals, starters, mains and desserts. The children's meals (starters & mains) arrived before our starters. The children had all finished both courses and our starters had still not arrived. Starters came. My partner's main meal came, he ate it. One of the three children's desserts came.....we are one hour in by this time and my main meal still had not arrived. We ended up cancelling the order as everyone had eaten and we were ready to go, and were still waiting on my main and two kids desserts. The tables were not cleared in between courses so we were massively struggling for space. When we left, we had dishes from all 3 courses (apart from the ones that didn't arrive) still on the table. Service was terrible.

Very disappointing. You have to order on your phone at the table, but it took 10 minutes of refreshing to get the page to load. We then had a long delay waiting for food (we were told about this on arrival), yet the restaurant was half empty! The pizzas were probably the worst we've ever had - 1 barely had any topping, the other was a little better but not as described on the menu. We would have sent them back but we were in a rush. The manager agreed to refund one of the pizzas when we complained. Will definitely not be returning.

Dined here on Saturday as a party of 6 and ordered arrabiata. Meal arrived without any chili and quite bland so tried to get the attention of a server. When I finally caught someone’s eye, I asked if they could bring some chili flakes, none arrived. After a short time (while continuing my meal) I again asked a different server for some chili flakes but by the time they finally brought them I had around four mouth fulls of food left so didn’t bother with them. You should just have chili flakes on the table in the same way you have salt and pepper. Towards the end of the meal, a server came to the table and started clearing some of the empty plates but at the time not everyone in our group had finished their meals so I asked the server to stop. I’ve experienced this type of service in the USA and I know it’s common practice there. However we don’t live in the USA so until we all start declaring our allegiance to the star spangled banner, let’s stick to clearing tables when the whole party has finished. What I don’t like is being asked to make a service payment at the point of ordering the meal and not at the end when “service “ has been delivered. I raised these points with a manager before we left and to be fair I was offered a coffee, however had to decline as our party needed to move on as we had tickets to an evening show. I don’t mind paying for service when eating out, but in this instance the service fell short.

The restaurant was very delicious and it is very famous and I do not need to explain because it is very famous in the world. What made the restaurant more beautiful was the kind treatment of the employees Labina and Pooja, which made the restaurant more beautiful. They helped my mother because she is old and provided sufficient assistance. Thank you to them for this beautiful treatment that made our day.

Anna was amazing, she really helped me and made the night a very stress free and wonderful one.

Came to this restaurant to get food whilst coming to see the markets. Not much in the way of atmosphere, weird little stools to sit on without backs, order is via a QR code (but asks you to pay and tip before you’ve actually had any service). Food and drink came at wildly different times, and the pasta was…not good. Lukewarm and chewy, like it had been made a couple of days ago and microwaved. Would not come here again.

I have never left a negative review in my life but the food quality was very very bad. The pasta was undercooked and salmon was disgusting I never had pasta so strange texture. The pizza was half burned and half undercooked particularly the base. My husband has sensitive stomach and he felt sick and cramps after the dinner. I never had so bad margarita cocktail. Not a pleasing dinning experience

My husband ordered garlic bread, chicken skewers and beetroot bruschetta, I ordered hot smoked salmon salad , husband was served all of his food and mine did not arrive, the garlic bread was just bread with a tiny bit of garlic butter in the centre , very dry , very tiny portions , no concern from the staff or manager regarding the food that did not get served just a “ it’s how our system works” well it won’t work for me again because I will never visit again ,

We were in Manchester for a night and Vapiano made my evening by a great food. Staffs were very friendly and polite as well. We tried Garlic Dough Balls as a starter served with a delicious dip and Gamberetti Spinanci as my main dish which was one of the best pastas I ever had. Fresh, creamy with tasty pesto. The only problem was the amount of drinks in a small glass which was almost ice with a little bit of drink!

In this vapiano next to the cathedral the food is of very low quality, we left the spaghetti carbonara, and we consumed the other dishes out of pure hunger. Very adequate and friendly service.

Shown to a table and given QR code to order ourselves. Have to pay up front and it even asks for a tip before you’ve had any service. Obviously drinks aren’t on their way until you’ve completed your order. Dough balls weren’t hot and at least 2 weren’t fully cooked, couldn’t taste any garlic. Garlic bread was ok, but very doughy crust. 1 pizza and 1 pasta ok, but bolognese was the worst I’ve ever had - I couldn’t say whether the pasta was under or overcooked, but it was awful, I struggled to see any meat or taste anything. 2 of us ordered grana padano but it wasn’t on either pasta, it was brought after asking, at the time when the pizza arrived, halfway through the pasta. Passion fruit martinis were bitter, only positive is they were on 2 for 1. I couldn’t be bothered to complain as there wasn’t really any service. Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending.

Ordered the carbonara and chicken Alfredo. Was really mid, flavours kinda the same as what you'd get from a pasta ready meal. Chicken Alfredo had around 5 cubes of chicken in, which was disappointing. Added roasted cherry tomatoes for £1 extra and got raw, which I don't like. The music is not fitting to a restaurant, it kinda ruined the vibe of our meal as it was a date. The carbonara was decent but flavours weren't amazing. The pasta itself was really good. Filling meal. Service was quick

If you value decent pasta and Italian dishes, please do not go here. I ate (quite sadly out of necessity over time) one of the worst carbonaras I’ve ever had, and paying £14 for it hurt just as much. This isn’t fresh pasta, it was cheap, thin spaghetti. The sauce was watery, and I’m not even convinced any cheese was involved. It looked cheap, and tasted of cheap pasta. The garlic bread wasn’t garlicky at all. All in all, a totally wasted £25. And because you pay through a QR code, there isn’t a lot of recourse. Please god, avoid this place.

Pooja helped to find a table for us very quickly. The app was fairly easy to use and follow and our drinks were served quickly too. The pizza I had was slightly undercooked for my liking but it was tasty.

La comida era asquerosa 🤮. Los 4 dejamos nuestra comida. Era de muy mala calidad no comer juntos. Dos de nosotros recibimos nuestra comida y una larga espera para las otras comidas. El personal era agradable. Especialmente el jefe de cocina con quien hablamos. Se disculpó como pudo ver que era malo. Nos dijo demasiados pedidos sin suficiente personal de cocina. No pudieron hacer frente. La lasaña hizo que mi prima se sintiera enferma durante toda la noche y solo tenía 3 bocas llenas. Sentado en taburetes altos. Como estar en un café barato. Las comidas deben ser un placer no un castigo. Ciertamente no era una relación calidad-precio. El lugar estaba lleno, no puedo creer que el público coma este tipo de comida.

AWFUL!! Service non existent. Ordered garlic bread..very doughy and virtually no garlic. 2 pasta mains which were tasteless and virtually no meat. Gutted we wasted £47. Definitely won't return. We would give no stars if we could.

Our experience in Vapiano was bad. The manager was quite rude and wasn't very helpful at all. We ordered some pasta with extra chicken but the chicken was just dumped in the pasta with no sauce, and tasted quite bad. From the moment we sat in the restaurant we asked for some water and it took them ages for them to bring it. You would think it would be busy but it wasn't and the staff, especially the manger was just standing around do nothing, but when you ask for something she would have a whole story about it. We will not be coming again.

Three of us popped in for evening meal. The system for ordering by downloading an app then ordering and paying online was a total pain. Eventually someone took our order in the old fashioned way. Once it arrived the food was good. My pizza was one of the best I've had in years , with a lovely crisp but not too hard base and just the right amount of toppings and very tasty. My friends pasta dishes looked good too. We didn't have time for dessert as they were closing at 9.30pm which seemed early but I guess it was Sunday. The decor was pleasant but it's wooden stools rather than chairs to sit on. Maybe they don't want you to stay too long as they're very harsh on the bum.

We had a really good evening Jacob was very helpful he went out of his way to help we needed chairs with backs on not stools and he quickly arranged this Babita was our server and she also was very pleasant and helpful we will return this was our 1st time in Vipiano

Over all very nice restaurant (nice set up, food was great for the value of money), the staff were really lovely - Babita was especially really lovely checking on making sure we had a good experience when dining. The only thing I would say is that maybe the music could be turned down ever so slightly so that when you are having conversations you can hear the other person :)

I recently visited Vapiano in Manchester and had a fantastic dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread and both dishes were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Special thanks to Babita, who attended to me and made sure I had everything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this location for both the food and excellent service.

Nice atmosphere and friendly servers, however food was mildly warm, hardly any meat with the ‘special’ dish and Pasta was over cooked. Quality of the food was far from what you pay.

Both pizzas were finished by the time the pasta arrived and had to remind staff. Time delay was unnaceptable.

Vapiano in Manchester has a good, fresh pasta. The food was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was okay. What really stood out was the manager, he came over to check on us and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. It made the meal feel more personal. Would definitely go again!

Awful. Food expensive. Cheese garlic bread with an eyeful of cheese on it. So doughy too. The Alfredo pasta has six small pieces of chicken in it. All tasted microwaved. Was awful. Plus, who pays the tip as you order! Absolutely shocking. Wish I’d not bothered. Not nice experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I had a very disappointing experience at Vapiano Manchester recently. After some issues with applying a student discount code, the manager, Andy, eventually sorted it. I initially ordered a vegan dish due to dietary restrictions, but later wanted to change to a halal option. I was told I’d need to refund and re-order, which was fine. However, when I requested some sauce, I was first told that they “didn’t do sauce” and later charged £1.30 for what amounted to a tablespoon. I declined the sauce due to the small portion, the server grabbed the sauce and walked away. The garlic bread I received was extremely doughy and undercooked. When I asked for a refund because I no longer wanted to eat there, the manager’s response was very dismissive. He smirked at me and said, “What do you want me to do? We did nothing wrong.” He left me waiting for several minutes before returning and making an unnecessary comment about the restaurant being “fine dining.” The worst part was when he came very close to me, tapped my arm twice, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and threatened. It was unprofessional and left me feeling unsafe. He mentioned a refund would take 2-5 days but didn’t ask me to confirm anything with my card, leaving me uncertain if the refund will actually happen. I’m now out £18 and very dissatisfied with how I was treated.

Babit was a super waitress. Extremely helpful and friendly :) Food was lovely and fresh and really hot. Atmosphere was quite relaxed and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommended 5*

The overall experience at the Vapiano was disappointing and lacked enthusiasm. From the outset, the service provided by the waitstaff was disinterested, as they offered minimal engagement and responded to our inquiries with one-word answers. Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar, lacking in flavor and falling short of expectations, especially given the pricing. The only positive aspect of the visit was the pleasant ambience and the atmosphere created by the surrounding customers.

I didn’t even get my food so not sure if I can even rate it one star. My friend ordered and finished his food before I even got mine. I asked multiple times and was just being told it’s coming. Waited 30 mins before being told the chef lost my ticket

I enjoyed my food so much as always! Maryam made my solo date extra enjoyable with her kindness, friendliness and making sure I had everything I needed. I hope to come back and see her again

Maryam brilliant host, very helpful and friendly. Brought kids a colouring page to mess around on and keep them busy. Checked up several times. Will be visiting again!
