Service was very poor, another person's order was delivered to our table. My ragu was very bland and flavourless. Won't be returning.

Nice atmosphere and friendly servers, however food was mildly warm, hardly any meat with the ‘special’ dish and Pasta was over cooked. Quality of the food was far from what you pay.

I recently visited Vapiano in Manchester and had a fantastic dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread and both dishes were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Special thanks to Babita, who attended to me and made sure I had everything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this location for both the food and excellent service.

Both pizzas were finished by the time the pasta arrived and had to remind staff. Time delay was unnaceptable.

The least Italian experience i have been too. A Chilled atmosphere. Food was fresh. But very bland and tasteless. Staff weren't very helpful. But won't be going back...

Vapiano in Manchester has a good, fresh pasta. The food was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was okay. What really stood out was the manager, he came over to check on us and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. It made the meal feel more personal. Would definitely go again!

Awful. Food expensive. Cheese garlic bread with an eyeful of cheese on it. So doughy too. The Alfredo pasta has six small pieces of chicken in it. All tasted microwaved. Was awful. Plus, who pays the tip as you order! Absolutely shocking. Wish I’d not bothered. Not nice experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I had a very disappointing experience at Vapiano Manchester recently. After some issues with applying a student discount code, the manager, Andy, eventually sorted it. I initially ordered a vegan dish due to dietary restrictions, but later wanted to change to a halal option. I was told I’d need to refund and re-order, which was fine. However, when I requested some sauce, I was first told that they “didn’t do sauce” and later charged £1.30 for what amounted to a tablespoon. I declined the sauce due to the small portion, the server grabbed the sauce and walked away. The garlic bread I received was extremely doughy and undercooked. When I asked for a refund because I no longer wanted to eat there, the manager’s response was very dismissive. He smirked at me and said, “What do you want me to do? We did nothing wrong.” He left me waiting for several minutes before returning and making an unnecessary comment about the restaurant being “fine dining.” The worst part was when he came very close to me, tapped my arm twice, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and threatened. It was unprofessional and left me feeling unsafe. He mentioned a refund would take 2-5 days but didn’t ask me to confirm anything with my card, leaving me uncertain if the refund will actually happen. I’m now out £18 and very dissatisfied with how I was treated.

The overall experience at the Vapiano was disappointing and lacked enthusiasm. From the outset, the service provided by the waitstaff was disinterested, as they offered minimal engagement and responded to our inquiries with one-word answers. Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar, lacking in flavor and falling short of expectations, especially given the pricing. The only positive aspect of the visit was the pleasant ambience and the atmosphere created by the surrounding customers.

Babit was a super waitress. Extremely helpful and friendly :) Food was lovely and fresh and really hot. Atmosphere was quite relaxed and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommended 5*

Maryam brilliant host, very helpful and friendly. Brought kids a colouring page to mess around on and keep them busy. Checked up several times. Will be visiting again!

I enjoyed my food so much as always! Maryam made my solo date extra enjoyable with her kindness, friendliness and making sure I had everything I needed. I hope to come back and see her again

I didn’t even get my food so not sure if I can even rate it one star. My friend ordered and finished his food before I even got mine. I asked multiple times and was just being told it’s coming. Waited 30 mins before being told the chef lost my ticket

Talk about cutting costs. Zero service, order on an app. Sit on an uncomfortable takeaway style table. Waited 45 minutes for my drink, despite chasing 3 times. It eventually came when I’d nearly finished my pizza. The pizza was lovely but the lack of staff and care and attention meant I wouldn’t return. They even have the cheek to request a tip at the time of order. Glad I didn’t do it when there was no service and it took 45 minutes to get a beer. Won’t be returning

Visited for dinner - the starter and mains was nice - ordered dessert and they didn’t have a few things in stock and the manager came and just dropped the dessert on the table and no apology or would you still like this even though a key ingredient was missing - the dessert was dry and disgusting - asked for it to be refunded - was advised they can only process refund the next day. It’s been two weeks and still no refund. Avoid.

Arrived to be told that the menu isn’t accurate as “most things are unavailable”. Directed to use a QR code for up-to-date information. So ordered our own food and then you had the audacity to auto-add a tip, despite doing nothing for it. Then… it turns out your accurate QR code isn’t accurate at all and we were informed that the one meal ordered is out of stock AFTER you have taken my payment, and then I have to wait 2-4 days for a refund. On top of all that, the food was average and VERY overpriced and your service is appalling. The staff speaks so quietly I can’t hear anything they are saying and it’s not as though the ambient noise is loud. And they don’t even seem to understand what was ordered. Let alone what is actually in or out of stock. Cannot get over how bad this whole experience has been and how much I’ve foolishly paid for it.

The bolognese was good and the flavour was good but we got it with the spaghetti and it was too soggy and too thin and didn’t really go well with each other but over was good

Well… the thing is .. you can’t sit in front of the chef when they’re cooking your food anymore. And that was the whole thing with Vapiano, otherwise it’s just another pizza/pasta place. Food quality was good though, but not amazing and service was quick enough but orders got mixed up a bit but sorted out in the end. Atmosphere is down on stars just because you can’t be there where they cook the food for you. They argued they changed this with Covid… well that was 4 years ago, just revert to how it was now

Came here on my final night while visiting a friend. We happened to wonder in an decided to try it. The atmosphere was wonderful and we were greeted by a very fun and upbeat server. He made the experience so enjoyable. The food was delicious I enjoyed my Gamberetti e Spinanci which is King prawns cooked in a cream and pesto sauce with fresh spinach, and Italian tomatoes. We had the chicken skewers and garlic bread to start those were both wonderful. I would definitely recommend the chicken skewers! I decided to treat myself and get the tiramisu for desert, I was very happy with my decision. It was the perfect end to my weekend in Manchester.

Food was nice, service was not.

The food was delicious. However, the service was quite chaotic and we received a softale rather than the cocktails we ordered, we double checked the order confirmation and we definitely ordered with alcohol. My friend waited half an hour for her food and I received mine very quickly. We were unsure who to ask for assistance as we were aware some staff were for either bar service, sitting, or food service. The food was brilliant we just got very confused by the difficult service.

The place was good when they allow free seating but now they restricted me and didn’t allow upstairs seating like usual. Also, the menu was empty I could not find my favorite Caesar Salad and no Rosotto at all In my opinion, the place will need to keep the upstairs space because it really nice. Also, they need to add more items to the menue like Rosotto and other diverse options. The place is in a popular destination and has everything good (the online way of order is great) They still need to work on menue diversity and adding more non-pasta and pizza items. Italian food is not only about pasta and pizza there are various dishes that is great to add.

Awful! Have been here in the past and it has been great food. It has changed, no way is that fresh handmade pasta, microwave/frozen probably, stodgy, claggy, not hot, dry garlic bread, asked for garlic 'oil', raw garlic in oil, not even olive oil. You seat yourself, order online, pay before your food arrives. Ate about 10% of the food and complained when plates took away, but they've already got your money and absolutely no apology and no offer of a refund. £40 two plates of pasta and garlic bread. Never again!

The best thing I got was the San Pellegrino water. The gnocchi was unseasoned, basically canned tomato. To enhance my dinner I asked for an almost 6£ garlic bread that came with one (ONE) parsley leaf. No garlic whatsoever. I felt sick after eating. It's just not good nor worth trying.

I went to this branch of Vapianos for a solo birthday dinner and two of the workers Maryam and Pooja were amazing. Their costumer service was amazing, they made me feel very welcome and gave me a sweet birthday message as they brought out a slice of cheesecake. The food was also very good.

We've been to vapiano in a few locations before and like the place. This is the same as the rest of the franchise, you know it's going to be nice, simple food, but I don't remember such terrible value. Over £45 for 2 pasta dishes with cokes and garlic bread is extortionate. The place has a great atmosphere and attentive staff but that price is just hard to justify!

A lovely reasturant with delicious food and amazing friendly staff. Would highly recommend the dough balls they're delicious, the pizza and pasta were lovely. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

I have not been here for a few years and it is not as good as it used to be. Very average food for above average prices. With plenty of restaurants in Manchester, there are better places to go and eat. I used to enjoy it here, watching the food being cooked and prepared, now its just like any other restaurant. The Caesar salad had so much dressing on it, it was inedible. The lasagne was very average. Go back to the way you used to do things please!

The food is very nice, although could always improve it’s great for Italian food. The service is even better as it makes you feel comfortable and at a place of ease. Like a home rather than restaurant and the atmosphere e is very niche

So disappointed with my experience despite traveling a long way for such a recommended place. The first bite of my pasta had a long hair embedded inside not only that but my food came cold after waiting almost 25mins for them to replace my food. I will not to be returning back after the customer service not dealing with the hair in my food then and there. Truly disappointed.

i was pleasantly surprised with how many vegan options there were available. i had the vegan chicken carbonara and thought it was fantastic. by far best vegan carbonara i've tried. as for service, we had finished all food except my friend's pasta which, after an hour, had not arrived. after talking to 2 people we finally got it though
