Food is always dependably good, friendly warm atmosphere. Good value.

Good food well priced. Great staff. Kids portions on the small side for our 4 and 6 year olds, but cheap enough you can top up. Gluten free pizza base was pretty good.

Super venue with wonderful food and great staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. Recommended.

Hadn’t visited this place in a long time but just fancied a decent gluten free pizza! We booked last minute and still managed to get a table on a Friday evening. The waitress was really helpful in giving me the gluten free menu which has all the pizzas as an option on a gluten free base. There are also plenty of starters too such as garlic mushrooms and prawns. The service was really good and when I was ordering the waitress asked if I was coeliac so she could let the kitchen know so I knew I would be fine. Food was delicious and no reaction! Highly recommend

The service and food was great however the Garlic dough balls came out cold but they was happy to redo them which they did the food came out on a hot plate however the spaghettis was cold should of mentioned it but didn't my fault but the last straw was when we seen a mice and after telling the manager she just said thanks for letting us know so we left at that point.

Feels more than a bit dated. It boasts of being Chorlton's original pizzeria, but the only thing it's done to mix things up over the last fifteen years was making the pizzas smaller. Great spot, food is nice enough, but needs some love.

A nice looking restaurant, candlelit tables which created a lovely ambiance . The service is friendly and professional. The food is excellent, best Italian we had in a long time.

Our go to restaurant. Always warm and friendly, the staff are brilliant and very well trained. We really like the menu and there is added variety in the specials. Children are always made to feel welcome and the staff are patient with their needs.

There is a friendly, but lively atmosphere and the choice on the menu is good with specials to add extra variety. Meals are priced competitively and come well presented.

Absolutely great, we had sirloin, rump and fillet steaks..all were great and will definitely be back.

We are fairly regular customers to Croma. It saddens me to say this today's visit wasn't what we were used to. We had 2 pizzas, and they were both of poor quality, which is quite unusual for Croma. We didn't finish our food and left. The service was okay, which was not as good as the usual, which is of a high standard. Today's visit might be a blip, or so we hope.

Always a lovely welcome and first class service. Love the duck pizza, and the ice cream sundae. Tables located the conservatory are great if you're nosey. Top tip : Croma Martini or if you're like me a Heineken Zero is always available. Thanks Croma!

Crab linguine used to be delicious. Ordered it recently and it was subpar. Clearly using cheaper ingredients whilst hiking up the price. Shame.

First Table has 50% off which made our visit well worthwhile 👍🏽 the food was all good and the portions reasonable and filling. The Chef was nice he gave us custard with our sticky toffee pudding when we complained we were Mancunians not southerners wanting ice cream lol 😂 good man ! Nice place warm and cozy laid back feel that relaxes you. There were 3 of us.

There was a mix up with, our booking via the first table account. The manager and staff at Croma Chorlton, very quickly sorted this for us. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were met with such a wonderful team. Everyone was extremely attentive. We started with a couple of cocktails & a mocktail. Delicious is the only word. We had a few starters between us. The cheese garlic bread was the best. Our mains came in plenty of time, never did we feel rushed. The variety of food was great. I had the chicken caesar salad pizza, wow. We were topped up with water during the meal. We really were too full to have deserts (one did, they had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, from her face, that was delicious), we opted for coffee & mocktails. We definitely will be back and I can not recommend Croma Chorlton enough. Thank you to all the staff.

Food is pretty good, main dishes that aren’t pizza are slightly on the smaller side but pizza is filling. Mocktails are ok. Atmosphere is fantastic, very nice looking restaurant and plenty of good seating options. Works well for a normal meal out but also for those who have something to celebrate. Service was great, friendly staff. Overall a great experience.

Terrible. Booked for 8.15pm. Pizzas overcooked. Restaurant closed at 9pm. Staff started leaving before we left. Felt unwelcome to stay. Spent £60+. Never again there.

I have been a regular patron of Croma in Chorlton since it opened. It is usually of a good standard and enjoyable. On the evening of 30/04/24 I visited with friends and family. Two of our pizzas were virtually impossible to cut and had a base seemingly made of cardboard. Actually inedible. Our waiter was utterly indifferent when we told him, actually made no comment and just removed the uneaten food. I noticed a man on a nearby table send his pizza back and commented to me the food was bad tonight. Very disappointed at both the leaden pizza and the lack of interest when it was raised with staff. Bakehouse 32 in Stretford will be my preference when it reopens in future.

Very pleasant, good value, good service, nice atmosphere, I think I am also subconsciously suspectible to music from the 80s and 90s playing in the background, the whole place was very positive, back in the day certain areas were like episodes from Outnumbered, today it was very chilled, pizzas are not too bready (couldn't face a doughy munch so came here) and coffee good. But please stop serving coffee before the desert arrives.

When we went the place was packed due to the Manchester marathon being on,& everyone supporting it we got a seat & w didn't have to waite long for service & the meals the staff was great t& the food was great,well worth the visit.

Simply the best Independent Pizzeria in Manchester, delivering excellent food with quality ingredients and a great wine list. The atmosphere is always buzzing with excitement but now with stunning, cosy booths in Chorlton for those more intimate moments or business meetings. The staff are always super friendly and highly efficient. Croma never fails to impress and is always worth a visit. Had a lovely trip to Croma today with three kids and three adults. The food was good - very excited to see a hoisin duck pizza - and the kid’s menu is good value. The staff were very nice.

I have been dining at croma for over 20 years, the Chorlton restaurant is now my go to after Manchester and Didsbury closed down. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great food. The staff are all lovely and friendly and add to the warm atmosphere.

I’ve just ordered a gluten free pizza on Deliveroo from Croma in Chorlton and it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve had A LOT of pizzas! People think it’s just throwing a load of toppings on a circle but honestly the chef who made this pizza understands ratios! It was the perfect level of sauce and cheese and excellent topping distribution. And as an extra bonus point my husband couldn’t even tell the difference between the gluten free one and his gluten one! Also I never leave reviews even if I’ve had a bad experience so it must have been good to make me take this the time to write this. Thank you

Waitress knocked a lit candle over covering my friend in hot wax, down her sleeve and down her trousers.. The waitress asked did we want some napkins to wipe the wax up then disappeared and never came back. No one inquired to see if my friend had been burnt by the hot wax. We were then offered some more tissues from another waiter, by this time the wax had dried and he didn't ask how my friend was. The meal was brought out, which was nice but the table and my friend were still covered in wax .We were all very disappointed with the service and lack of care or concern for the customer. The manager said they would pay for drycleaning and there would be no charge for my friends meal, but the night out to celebrate my friends birthday had been ruined. I can't believe how we were treated and we won't be going here again.

Croma is a great option in Chorlton for pretty much any occasion. They cater to all needs with a fab selection of vegan and gluten free options. It's relaxed and cosy and a great place if you have kids as part of your group - the children's menu is really good value and always popular! Service is quick and friendly and it's a big restaurant, so good space for larger groups. We were sad to see the Didsbury branch close but glad we can still come here!

It's been a while since we last ate here as it's not in our area. Visited with family and to say I was disappointed how this place has deteriorated since our last visit. It's looking in places very tired and grubby As for the food !! Had what was the worst Lasagne I have ever eaten anywhere. Portion was minute which turned out to be a good thing as it was awful . Dry and tasteless . My wife had a duck salad consisting of a few shreds of duck literally sat on a bed on green leaves. If the management keep their eye off the boil at this place it will be lucky to survive based on this visit.

Pretty good generally. Really nice atmosphere, good, friendly, fast service. Gets busy deservedly. Can be a bit noisy ( showing my age that) but overall recommended. Especially for family's where children are well catered for in all regards. Good value too. Menu hasn't really changed since it opened but a good range of meals luckily.

We got takeaway from Croma and it was delicious. We both got the prawn and crab linguini, can’t recommend it enough, absolutely delicious. The garlic bread was delicious too By far some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a while For it to be that good delivered too shows how good it is.

This is regular spot for me and my family. They are so accepting of children and create a really warm inviting atmosphere.food is top notch and good value. 50% of in January! Bonus

We went on a Saturday lunchtime pre-booked a table for 8 no problem at all ,the staff were very attentive, it got busier while we were there so prebooking is advisable.

Lovely food im not a huge italian food fan so i had the tandoori salad which was lovely. But other people i was with loved there food too as i was with Italian food fans it was great to be able to go to dinner and be able to eat something i could also enjoy. Definitely will be returning. Super kid friendly too!

Just had a lovely evening in Croma. Food and Service very Good. Our server Alita made our visit even better.

The venue itself was so pretty inside. We were upstairs. There's paid parking in the carpark and off-road parking at the side. The staff were lovely. The star of the show is the pizza. I can honestly say that it's the best tasting pizza that I have ever had.

Just got back from a neighbours xmas dinner out, never been before and it was lovely, staff are really friendly and helpful. Will def go back, it's so clean and great staff.

Used to be very consistent but the last two visits have been poor and we won’t go back again. Mushroom bruschetta starter was ok but small and the gin and tonic was nice. The pizzas were poor. They were dried out and tasted like they had been reheated. The American hot had rubbery pepperoni and very few jalapeños with burnt cheese. The second round of drinks never arrived and so we paid and left. The waitress asked how the meal was so we told her and she said sorry and walked off. This was on an evening when there seemed to be more staff than customers. This was the first time I have ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip.

We were regulars at Chorlton Croma for years, until the Didsbury branch opened. So it was a trip down memory lane for us. Visited at 7pm on Saturday evening. Such a lovely ambiance and great to see some familiar faces from Didsbury Croma, now sadly closed. The food and service is as good as ever. Its a great place to take kids, and a great place to go back to with grown up kids! All our favourite croma pizzas are still on the menu. My pasta dish was delicious, my son enjoyed his pizza. We'll definitely be back soon!

Really lovely restaurant - loads of different pizzas, including some creative and original topping combinations as well as your classics. Tasty pasta dishes too. Relaxed vibe but really nice upmarket decor and great service. Kid friendly - they had no problem with our party bringing a pram in and they have kids menus and activity books.

We go here often and always enjoy our visits. A comfortable restaurant with plenty of space and a nice atmosphere. I don' t think we've ever had a bad meal here, though the pizza's seem to be getting a bit smaller and thinner nowadays they are still excellent. This place has always offered really excellent service - the waiters/waitresses are always very professional and pleasant. On a recent visit Andreas attend out table, nice guy very personable. We turned up as a family of four without a booking, it was clear to see that the staff were rushed of their feet, it was explained that there may be a wait to order as the kitchen were extremely busy, we were happy to do so, the staff were clearly working hard. Food still fab as was the service!

Terrifying!!! Wouldn't let me and my friends leave without paying £50 service charge! We went to celebrate A level results it was horrible!

The best family restaurant in Chorlton, lovely salads, pasta, pizza, starters, desserts….and excellent alcohol free drinks! Nice to see really good AF choices on the drinks menu. We have dining at Croma for 20 years and still love it.

Croma is no ordinary "PIZZA JOINT" It is a first class restaurant with excellent service. The ambience is much more sophisicated than the above establishments and the food is always presented perfectly. You will not be disapppointed by the quality of the food on offer and if you have not already visited do so at your earliest opportunity.

Great food! The pizza was so crisp and fresh. Really enjoyed it not too filling so left room for the sticky toffee pudding which was to die for. Started off with some dough balls with delicious garlic butter. The food excellent and the service just as good would 100% recommend !

The tables adjacent to the front windows afford fascinating views of the road junction and the road closure on Tuesday added to the spectacle. 2 for 1 cocktails went exceedingly well with our meal which we took an inordinate and enjoyable amount of time over. We used to eat at the Croma in Didsbury, but that has shut now. So we decided to try the Croma in Chorlton, which is every bit as good. The staff were all lovely and will definitely be back.

Not impressed overall with this restaurant. Food uninspiring, staff and service just about average, lacks the wow factor. Price and value not note worthy. I personally Don't want to go back again . Food didn't have the taste of a good Italian restaurant . Drinks , just bad value bottles available.

Lovely relaxed interior. For someone who can't eat Gluten or Dairy, I was able to choose a gluten free base on any pizza and have vegan cheese - and I can tell you it looked and tasted exactly like a good Italian pizza should - amazing! The pic below is the 'Sicilian'. The house white wine was also excellent. Very child friendly and the kids menu had good options and was plenty enough to keep even my 11 year old happy! The service could of been a little friendlier though.

Celebrated our daughters 16th birthday over the weekend here at Croma-Chorlton and the team were the perfect event hosts. Accommodated our large party of 22 perfectly. The service was amazing as always and the staff were very attentive. All our guests enjoyed the selection of food and there were certainly no complaints from our youngest of diners! All in all a perfect day, couldn’t recommended Croma- Chorlton enough. Thank you again to Andrew and the team!!
