Good pizza. Hot still, for a change

doughballs came burnt and cold, pizza was cold and not cut

Went to pizza express for a double family birthday meal for me & my dad. We all had a lovely time with the staff, food & atmosphere.

Food sat in Didsbury for ten minutes after collecting from restaurant. Needless to say cold again. Cannot order from here anymore

Don’t order delivery as the pizzas are poorly made with not the correct quantity of toppings. This was supposed to be “double pepperoni” guess the chef couldn’t be bothered

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. pizza was stone cold, delivery driver disappeared twice once in Withington then in Fallowfield. By time my food was delivered from the back seat of the old banger it wasn’t even in a heat bag, fresh chilled off the back seat.

Came for lunch with my parents, everything was wonderful, the food was delicious and the service was brilliant! Harry is lovely, very knowledgeable on the menu and nothing was too much!

This was my first visit after reaching Gold tier membership and was very happy to see that our waiter knew what I was talking about when I asked for the cookbook which I was very excited about! It was a very busy evening but service was incredible and efficient, was expecting to have to wait a while for food but it was so speedy! Best service I’ve had at pizza express when it was that busy! Had a lovely atmosphere and staff were so friendly, 10/10 experience :)

Lovely. But the lasagna was a let down. There was a dollop of meat sauce in the centre, the rest just tomato sauce. Really lazily assembled. It’s only because of the 40% offer I ordered it again.

Excellent! Haven’t ordered from here before, only eaten in long ago, but with a generous 40% off, we had a lovely meal. The lasagna didn’t have a lot of meat in it, that’s only negative. Everything else was superb. Thank you to the kitchen staff! 10*

It was all good food service and a doggy bag to take home!

PAID FOR AND NOT DELIVERED. Driver circled our house (on the tracking map) and then just did one! Then the app changed to "Delivered - Enjoy your food!" Wonder how he got the code......

Fantastic food and service as always. Tjasa was especially helpful. Definitely our favourite pizza express restaurant. Love the pasta pollo pesto and the cafe reale Dolcetti.

The pizza was lukewarm warm and the cheese only covered about half the pizza, there was no cheese until you got about an inch away from the crust.

We have been served by Tjasa, and with no doubt, she made our experience memorable, giving us recommendations and making us laugh. Thank you Tjasa and all didsbury team.

Pizza Express Didsbury is great, the staff are very friendly and accommodating - they're also really good with the kids inc their gluten-free dietary requirements. Tjasa served us this evening - excellent as always!

Pizza Express Didsbury is a fantastic place. The staff are always friendly, warm and attentive and the food is the usual great standard you’d expect. Tjasa in particular was a fantastic server and really looked after us.

My salad was delicious and both my children stuffed with the kids menu. Great variation of choices for them and kept busy with the colouring in and interaction service from Maria our waitress. Lovely Xmas feel about the restaurant, Xmas tree and twinkly lights. Well done PE on the white chocolate gingerbread PEOPLE! Nice touch and see you soon xx

We are regular fans of Pizza Express Didsbury. Usually looked after by Tjasa who has become a friend over the years. Creates a lovely atmosphere and knows her customers. The whole team work so well together. We always receive a lovely welcome. Thank you.

We have always enjoyed the Pizza Express experience, but today was an exception, especially the service and quality of the pizza. Our waitress Tjasa was friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The pizza deserves special mention, as it was just so full of flavour and appetizing. When the pizza was placed on our table, we just new we were in for a treat. The presentation of the pizza, the way it had been topped to the very edge, with little crust showing, was excellent and ensured I ate every single bite. Mandeep was our chef and he produced one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Thank you. Brian & Rizwan.

We came as part of a pre-booked school trip and the service was amazing. Drinks were already prepared and the food took no time at all! Thank you to Maria for her wonderful service!

I came here with my partner on my 1 hour break during a 12 hour shift. I thought we wouldn't have enough time to eat and pay, but the service was so quick!! the waitress with the coloured hair served us, thank you! from one ex hospitality staff to another, give this girl a raise!

ordered the double American cheese and there was barely any cheese on it at all. big dry patches all over pizza cos of lack of cheese. feeling scammed.

Today's pasta dish was not as advertised. It consisted of just 1 large spoonful of overcooked pasta, no cheese, no breadcrumbs. Supposed to be an 1100-calorie main meal and is normally superb from here. Wish they would monitor new chefs more closely!

I came to pizza express today with my friend in the afternoon and our server was called Abbie. She was wonderful, so polite and helpful especially with her saying it was her first day. Congratulations to her for working her first shift in Manchester impeccably!

My son had a pizza making party here and we had a really great time and fab feedback from guests. I was worried that there would be downtime where the children would get restless but they were entertained throughout the whole party and Ben, the host, was really attentive to all of their needs. I think it was really good value for money and I would recommend. The venue is the best locally as it has a separate upstairs area which makes it perfect for parties.

Romana pizza was a cold, soggy mess. Very disappointing. Ordered at 18:08; ticket on box said pick up at 18:27, I live 10mins drive from the restaurant and it turned up at 19:05. Not impressed, got a 50% refund off Just Eat, but even with that taken off what I paid was over the odds.

We were very well looked after. The kids especially loved it. Cheers!?

Gave my son bad food poisoning. I don't see how they have a hygiene rating of 5 but then again it was last inspected 5 years ago and evidently alot can change in 5 years...

Great pizza as always, service good and we tried the Pizza Express app for the first time too! Fairly quiet lunchtime but was worth trying the Didsbury branch as we hadn’t been to this Pizza Express before.

Went out for a meal with my boyfriend after working a 12 hour shift and was served by Joe. He was nothing but nice the whole time. His service was really warming making the meal the most enjoyable one I’ve had. So Joe if you ever see this thank you for making me smile.

Nice, cozy place. We were here 8 years ago and the pizza is still very good, not to mention the ice cream.

Great restaurant on Lapwing Lane for our community in Old Moat, Withington and Didsbury in South Manchester. Well done to Cllr Debbie Hilal on her election win for Labour Party in West Didsbury in May 2024 too.

Terrible quality pizza. I have no idea why this branch can't provide good quality food for delivery. I cannot stand the management and "chef" at this branch.

We had my sister’s birthday celebrations at Pizza Express Didsbury today and I would like to say the PE team there couldn’t do enough for us, especially a lovely lady called Maria! Thank you to all of them 🙏🏽

I've been going to this branch for the past 15+ years. The shift manager today(17/04/2024) needs to be put through some serious customer service training. He's clearly unhappy with his job and this reflects in the way he treats customers. Just a friendly note to the manager. You do NOT own Pizza Express. You simply work there. An owner would never want to lose a long lasting customer of 15+ years. I'll never visit here again. I'll assure you within the next 3 months your branch will drastically decline in sales with this imposter "manager" in charge of this branch. You silly little boy.

Standard fare, good service and good atmosphere.

The pizza was cold and the pasta was full of red onions, the amount of red onions chunks was unbelievable. No attention to detail. Need to ready at the same time so they both are warm.

Bought apolo pizza but pizza base very thin and not worth for 16 pounds. Taste is good but base is very thin

The pizza was delicious but cold which is surprising as it arrived quite quickly.

Server was a little rude and made us feel as though we were stupid / an inconvenience for asking for extras or top ups.

Arrived cold, so wasn't too good.The quality of the food was good though so it made up for it to some extent but I wouldn't pay £20 for 1 cold pizza again.

Neither of these pizzas has extra cheese on them. Extra cheese costs 2.50. They seem to have almost no cheese whatsoever. Won't be ordering from here again.

Usually very happy with the quality of food when ordering takeaway at Didsbury Pizza express, however this occasion was shocking. We ordered 2 portions of dough balls, one of which didn’t arrive with the dips it usually comes with and secondly the romana margarita was very over done, stale, and uneditable. I regularly dine in at pizza express and I know I would never be served at this poor quality so why do it to takeaway orders? This has put me off from ever going to this restaurant again :(

Considering it was Christmas, the place was lifeless - like eating in a workplace canteen.

Appalling service. Wrong order received and cold. Was vegetarian order and delivered meat. Tried numerous times to call but never answered or rang back. Furious. 2 pizzas for £38! Pointless contacting deliveroo. Just disgusted

Not a fan of the chips and the quantity wasn’t very many, but it may just not be to my taste/preference. Pizza was a good margarita :)

the delivery person left it outside. my gate didn't even walk up the pathway to ring the bell. if it hadn't been for my little dog wanting to go out I wouldn't have known it was there therefore it was in edible and I had to throw it away because it was cold wet and soggy. I would like to know how I can get a refund for the meal that I ordered because I could not eat it

Visited a couple of weeks ago and a great place which is super family friendly. Food was great as usual and staff super friendly. Only problem we had was wauting 30 minutes to pay our bill as staff were very busy and hard to flag down.

Very friendly staff. Maria was especially good. Food was great too
