Server was a little rude and made us feel as though we were stupid / an inconvenience for asking for extras or top ups.

Usually very happy with the quality of food when ordering takeaway at Didsbury Pizza express, however this occasion was shocking. We ordered 2 portions of dough balls, one of which didn’t arrive with the dips it usually comes with and secondly the romana margarita was very over done, stale, and uneditable. I regularly dine in at pizza express and I know I would never be served at this poor quality so why do it to takeaway orders? This has put me off from ever going to this restaurant again :(

Considering it was Christmas, the place was lifeless - like eating in a workplace canteen.

Appalling service. Wrong order received and cold. Was vegetarian order and delivered meat. Tried numerous times to call but never answered or rang back. Furious. 2 pizzas for £38! Pointless contacting deliveroo. Just disgusted

Visited a couple of weeks ago and a great place which is super family friendly. Food was great as usual and staff super friendly. Only problem we had was wauting 30 minutes to pay our bill as staff were very busy and hard to flag down.

Eleanor went above and beyond and her team runs like a smooth, thoughtful, caring machine. My children have serious food allergies but we were made to feel very safe and cared for. Everything was 11/10 - exceeded every expectation. Absolutely blown away and can't wait to get back there for more of the same. A special thanks to Maria for the birthday board and being a lovely, attentive and kind server!

Tiasha (?!) Remembered us from our last visit (several months ago!) And really looked after us. One of our parties food (was unexpectedly spicy) was replaced without fuss. Our daughter was given the salad/dough balls and helped make her own dessert. All the staff were helpful and the food was lovely. Well done Tiasha, you're a great waitress and your nails are ace!

Not every restaurant feels as welcoming as this one does for crossdressers like myself. It's just not an issue here; the staff are all lovely, and it's a relaxed experience whether alone or in company, and whether the place is crowded or empty.

The atmosphere was lovely Hannah was very outgoing and made us feel relaxed whilst providing us with the best quick service. Hannah was absolutely incredible I loved the fact that she friendly !

The waiters are always friendly and helpful especially Tina. An the young man with glasses who does the parties sometimes, great fun and and has a lot of patience to help the children make the pizzas. Always had a good experience.

Food was amazing, server got the kitchen to make an old, off-menu item for my starter. She checked in sincerely, enough but not too much. Thank you Cjasa and the kitchen staff for 3 lovely courses and a lovely family lunch.

my friends and myself regularly come to this restaurant for food for the past 5 years. Today we had the best server i have ever had..Harry was the best… friendly, informative and went the extra mile. Standout service as one of the staff can be a little abrasive sometimes.

It was our first time coming to this restaurant and we didn’t regret it ! We had a Pizza Making Party for my daughter’s 7th birthday. It was well organised and prepared. Children were so happy to make their own pizza and it was very tasty too. Very nice a professional stuff. The restaurant itself has a modern atmosphere and it’s clean inside. Many thanks to their manager who let us stay 30-40 minutes more than the duration of the normal permitted party time. Many thanks.

Really enjoyable food and quick service. We were there on a Monday night and staying nearby for a flight the next day. It was pretty quiet but friendly staff and some new choices that were very good. Although we’ve eaten in Pizza Express loads of times, this was a new fresh menu and was really good.

We went with a group of seven 10/11 year olds for my daughter's birthday. Our server, Paulina couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The kids were on their own table so they felt grown up and Paulina went above and beyond to make sure they all had a great time.

As Pizza Express goes, this is a good one. The pizzas are good quality, fresh and tasty and the service is quick and friendly. They have an air conditioner function room upstairs available for parties. They cater well for children and also do take away.

Great staff, nice food, good place

Shocking. The pizzas have literally no cheese on, parts of mine was just toasted base, showed it to waitress and manager who we're very apologetic, made me a new 1 (but it wasn't much different) and refunded money. I got the feeling they hear it all to often. It's a less is more approach but truth be told they just very skimpy pizzas and you find any stretchy cheese on your chin that for sure. You will see what I mean if you go. Tbh I think it was a rip off but the staff were lovely and the restaurant also.

Waited an hour for a pizza expecting it to be piping hot after waiting so long but it arrived barely warm which was a surprise. Too expensive for an ultra thin pizza with barely any topping on it. The chicken pizza was tasteless and the chicken seemed boiled with no flavour and very little of it. However, The beef one was nice and tasty.

Under cooked pizza with no flavor. Chicken toppings were also not cooked properly. No choice of olive oil, or condiments were offered. Staff is also very ill trained, as they were serving food to wrong tables. I would not recommend this for food or party.

Vegan pizza,tasted quite good. Had a vegan ginger cake and hot chocolate (hot drink included as part of dessert). Frosting of the cake could be better but overall good experience

Good for a family meal out. Accept Tesco clubcard vouchers which makes it very good value

Paulina did a great job serving our table of 7. Service was quick, accurate and she answered all our questions. We had no problem getting a table.

We went for lunch as a group of 7 and everything was great. Fast service from Paulina who was very friendly and the good food you expect from Pizza Express. Good vegan options as well which was great for a few of our group.

We had a really great Make your own pizza party at West Didsbury. The team Eleanor, Hannah and Tjasa really made our daughter’s birthday party very special. Pizzas were really tasty and we all had great fun! Thank you!

The restaurant is large, cozy, well furnished and clean. Staff was considerate and efficient. Few customers, consider the area, time and day of the week. Moving on to food, considering: - my previous reviews of similar restaurants; - the quantity and quality of the dishes, - the bill, I could define my experience today as unsatisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s possible, but not likely, that I can come back.

We booked well in advancefor the quiet side of the eating area as we had our austistic guest (i am his carer) on the eveningof 27th December. When we arrived our specificed seating request had not been noted. No apology: we were simply offered a seat in on the noisy side where the music was loud (hence our request for th other side. There were tables reservied for larger parties (we were a small group of three). Our booking had been side lined in favour of bigger group bookings which presumably came in after our. We were eventually offered extra seating at a small table for two on the quiet side where they added an extra chair. Decent food followed but did not take away the bad taste of bollocks booking and bad attitude. Service is everything No wonder you are going out of business.

All the staff were incredible and the food was awesome but Jorrit took care of the whole table amazingly and made our experience exceptional, was super helpful and patient. Thank you!!

Horrible cheaters!... Ordered pizza for 14 pounds which was not even worth the prize with regards to the quantity given.

Children’s birthday party in private room. Accommodating, personal, helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble and helped me plan. Flexible with our requests - we brought our own music, decorations and photo booth props. Eleanor and team set up the tables and tidied up, a great help. Food delivered at pre agreed times, all fab!

Its been a while since I encountered this amount of incompetence when placing a standard delivery. They managed to leave out multiple items, one of which was doughballs but yet somehow provided us with the dip??? Really disappointed and won't be entering the restaurant any time soon.

The service at this particular Pizza Express is extremely disappointing. I dined with my children this evening and the waitress that was serving us was unfriendly and passive aggressive and made no effort to be pleasent. On occasions I required some service and there was no one to be seen. I therefore got the attention of the evening manager, who behaved like she had been disturbed. On the childrens menu they had run out of chocolate ice cream, which was bizzare and confirmed my opinion that this particular branch was of sub standard in comparison to other branches. Overall a very poor experience indeed. I would highly recommend an alternative Pizzaerias in the area if you have children

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Didsbury. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Many thanks to Maria and Marcio! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

Food and service was good. The starters were really smal for the price, especially the garlic bread. l and I didn't appreciate the dough balls having dips with them.

Regularly go to pizza express with kids, I usually tend to order the same for all as we love it. But fancy a change tonight and I was very disappointed. Meal I had was just spaghetti in tomato purée. So disappointed unfortunately. I didn’t mention anything as waiting staff were great and obviously not their fault

I’m sat at home, basking in a food coma after a wonderful meal here. We turned up, me and my three kids with my other half, for an early birthday dinner out for me. 37 in 3 days. We had a wonderful set of starters and main course and my word, the waitress managing us must have heard us mention my upcoming birthday. Before I new it they’d brought over some cake and a charming happy birthday message etched out in powdered sugar. I was so pleasantly surprised. I almost wished I’d taken the names of the lovely women who served us but sending lots of praises their way. I had a wonderful evening, made all the better because of the lovely service here.

Had an evening meal in here just before Halloween making use of an 02 "priority moment" offer which included any mains and pumpkin shaped dough balls for a set price. The dough balls were lovely served with fresh garlic butter. For main i had pollo forza pizza cooked to perfection with a crisp yet not burnt base, there was a good helping of topping too having experienced a miniscule sprinkling in other locations of this chain. Usually not a fan of thin pizza and previously have found some pizza express locations below par on taste and quality. I would highly recommend this restaraunt, it's good transport links and short distance to parking and bars is a bonus too.

we were a group of ten people with three young kids that loved the food and were happy through most of the evening (we would recommend larger tables so kid's feet can't touch underneath..). attentive and friendly service.

What's not to love about a pizza express? It's in a beautiful building with high ceilings and plenty of character. The food a PizzaExpress is always consistently good as is the service and staff are always friendly and very helpful

Kids birthday party for our 5 year old - the staff were fantastic and all the kids had a great time. Special thanks to Eleanor, Hannah and Merhan the pizza chef who were excellent in serving us and also entertaining the kids. The kids enjoyed tossing dough and making their own pizza which they then ate along with dough balls to start and ice cream dessert. We would recommend having a kids party here and would do so again in the future.

Really nice place first time visit. I would have given 5 stars but mix on my wife's order but quickly sorted. Granddaughter loved her birthday treat and me for fathers day. Thank you. 😊

Really enjoyed the food here, there's a great choice of vegetarian/vegan food which is a bit different from the standard choices you get in other restaurants. We were served by a lovely waitress called Tjasa who made the visit even better. Will definitely return
