The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

This restaurant is very close to MK Theatre and so convenient. We were going to a matinee performance at the theatre needing g to be in our seats around 14.15, we arrived at 12.15, our order was not taken till 12.45 (despite us asking earlier if we could place order) and then our food came out at 13.40. Other tables arrived after us and got to order before us. They were short staffed, busy, not full though, but at no point did they keep us informed on timing, other people in the restaurant were getting frustrated and at least one couple walked out. When we got the bill we were given a reduction in the cost of the bottle of wine but with no apology or explanation for the delay. Will go somewhere else next time we are at the theatre.

I don't generally get round to doing reviews, but couldn't resist it on this occasion. Me and my other half had a really enjoyable lunch in Prezzo Staines, today. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble for them - and as I have a tendency to customise every dish I order, that's really saying something. So a particularly big thank you to Hubert and Carmen for being so accommodating and helpful. The menu was impressive too, with a good variety of dishes. Our Tomato Bruschetta & King Prawns Al Forno starters were especially more-ish - so a big shout out to Chef as well. An enjoyable experience all round. We'll definitely be back for a repeat performance :-)

Esto es probablemente lo más lejos que puedes llegar de un restaurante italiano, están vendiendo desayuno inglés y comida italiana mínima. El lugar no está dirigido por italianos y no del personal son italianos por lo que la experiencia es completamente no auténtico de la reclamada “café italiano”

It's great for what it is but nothing exceptional.

Ante todo. . El mesero vive en otro planeta. Es muy lento y no entiende a los clientes. En segundo lugar, caro! ! 4 libras por un pedazo pequeño de pastel y ni siquiera era agradable. . ¡Qué mal lugar para tomar un café! ! ! ¡Nunca más! Aléjate de este lugar.

Never went as closed falsely advertises its open when I called said they are only open on event days

I'll put it simply, we made a booking it was confirmed we turned up on the day and on time and found it closed no call or email to inform us of this, lights were off and the front door locked. Waste of time and money on journey but did end up at a very nice curry house 20 meters down the road.

Conocí a mi hermana la conocida escritora, autora y académica Dra. Sally Bayley aquí para ponerse al día después de Navidad y un té y cómo chocolate. Disfrutamos de una agradable puesta al día juntos, intercambiando nuestras historias de Navidad y Año Nuevo. La cafetería era muy agradable, cálido, con un ambiente agradable y tranquilo. Disfruté de la música que suena de fondo. Las instalaciones del baño eran buenas y cómodas, y la variedad de edad de elección de bebidas era excelente. Gracias amablemente!

Mi pedido iba a ser entregado. Llegó tarde y muy frío. Cuando llamé para preguntar que esperé más de una hora para la entrega. El tipo que contestó no sabía hablar inglés fue grosero y dijo que no hay orden en el sistema, no estaba dispuesto a ayudar y bajar el teléfono. Afortunadamente, el repartidor estaba llamando a la puerta al mismo tiempo. No volveré a ordenar.

Ambiente encantador, personal encantador decepcionado por la corteza de pizza! Esta solía ser mi pizza favorita antes del Covid. Lamentablemente, parece que algo le ha pasado a la masa o al método de cocción, o a ambos, lo que significa que ya no está crujiente y totalmente empapada en el medio. Pensé que era mi pizza ya que tenía ricota, pero tristemente mi marido estaba con salami y mozzarella era el mismo. ¡Qué lástima que solía frecuentar este lugar tristemente nunca más! Supongo que eso es lo que crear una cadena le hace a un gran producto 😢

¡Me gustó tanto la comida aquí que ni siquiera pensé en tomar fotos cuando llegaron los platos! ! El entrante de verduras tempura con salvia frita fue un gran abridor. A esto le siguió el famoso Cacio e Pepe y varios otros platos de pasta deliciosos. Nos sentamos en una mesa grande y encantadora cerca del paso de los chefs, por lo que la emoción de ver los platos que se estaban preparando ayudó a abrir el apetito. Este es un lugar habitual mío ahora. No puedo esperar a la reapertura después de esta crisis de Covid - 19.

La comida era excelente y el personal era muy amable y servicial sin reservas en un sábado por la noche. Faltaban algunas cosas en el menú, pero estaba bien. ¡La carbonara de raviolis iba a morir!

Stopped off for a quick breakfast on the way to a meeting, not from the area. Farm shop is lovely and the restaurant even better. Had the full English which was delicious. Proper ingredients and great service too. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and as a treat well worth it.

Really enjoyed the food, came so hot and freshly cooked! The burgers were gorgeous and so fresh and the salad was fresh. You could tell they hadn’t been sitting and were made to order. Packaging was spot on, nothing was soggy. Would definitely recommend and we would order again! Really happy!
