Enoteca Rosso in Kensington and Chelsea

Dropped in on spec as a solo diner (husband was away) snd had taglionini pompadots enjoyed it so much went back the next day for lunch. Fantastic food, great service and reasonably priced. They also have an in house deli that sells delicious Italian food. Would highly recommend. A big shout out to Paola and all the staff at Rosso.

We held a large family event here and to cook and cater to a large crowd, while maintaining the quality of the food is no easy task but Luca and his team were just fantastic. My husband is Italian and was more than thrilled with the quality of the food. Our family and friends all without fail pointed out how great the food was. The staff had to wait on us most of the evening and with children running to and fro they were so patient and kind. I simply can’t thank them enough it was really really a good choice. We initially went there because of the great food we would have for lunch when we lived in London. It was lovely to return for this occasion and we were thrilled. So than you.

Excellent food and service. Just dropped in while staying locally. Dining solo can be hit or miss but here I had a good table and attentive service. Food - pasta with crab then fresh tuna with fennel and orange salad - was excellent, very Italian, simple but delicious.

A lovely Italian deli with fine wines & Italian dishes using seasonal ingredients served in a sophisticated, low-key setting.

Such a wonderful little restaurant. The ravioli carbonara was fantastic and my wife’s tagliolini was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the food came out fast, and the wine was good. We’ll definitely go there again on our travels!

We came to celebrate a family birthday and our meal lived up to our expectations and more. We all agreed that each course was perfection. From the olives and focaccia via the crispy, peppery octopus on a silky bed of cannellini beans right through to the insanely good Caprese cake (beautiful balance of lemon, almond flour and white chocolate), we were in Heaven. Warm, friendly service. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning very soon.

It was a terrible experience that the staff was shouting at me and my kid only because I raised my hand, showing that we were ready to order! We sat in a corner, and no one came to check our table. The man found that I was trying to ask someone to help order the food and shouted (even in front of other guests) at us, saying he had another four tables in front of us to serve and no more to raise the hands! He yield to us to wait or there is nothing! It was really horrible and I brought my kid leave immediately! If you don't want your day ruined by such rude staff, don't go to this horrible restaurant.

Connected with friends in London and had a lovely dinner at Rosso. Very good service, excellent pasta, fish and a scallop antipasto. We shared a chocolate cake with ice cream dessert to round out the evening. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re staying in Kensington.

We popped in to shelter from the rain and we were immediately set upon by a very overzealous waiter who assumed we were tourists, and I could sense he was about to try and rip us off. We asked for a bottle of the 'house wine' (which as everyone knows means the least expensive wine on the menu) and he held the menu itself aloft and said he'd be back with the house wine which was 'very good'. It was only later we realised that he had served us up a bottle of wine that (whilst nice) was the most expensive wine I have ever bought in any restaurant (and I DO live in London) ever. The bill with service came to almost £56. I am in the process of complaining to the owner, but in the meantime please be aware that they are looking to rip you off.

Ok nothing special. Umm not good if allergic to dogs, a large dog inside the restaurant sat on seats. More staff than customers at the time. The beattroot salad is surely an arty joke. Scallops OK.

It was fine, nothing special. The wine was good, but the food was... just ok. A bit disappointed, I've been there 3 years ago and the food was way better.

Restaurant was near our hotel so we just walked the couple blocks. It had just opened so we were able to get a table quickly. Atmosphere is rustic but pleasant. Waiter was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Beetroot salad to start then the Beef Ravioli and for dessert the Penn Cotta. Meal was very tasty. When weather is nice they have tables outside along the sidewalk. They also have a small butcher shop for fresh cuts of meat. For a nice light dinner we found a good place.

Service and food are great. The restaurant fitted us in last minute. We were hosting that day and the staff handled all the guests requests patiently. I regret not trying pasta after seeing some of the rave reviews!

I am absolutely speechless. Small portions, lack of seasoning, sour taste as the amount of tomato sauce is overwhelming and not balanced at all. Prices are way too high for very small portions and low quality food.

Food was good but the service was dreadful. We ordered bread that never arrived. We asked for water that didn’t arrive for 45 minutes. We finished our drinks before starters arrived and were not asked if we wanted any more. Not once did the staff check to see if our meal was ok. Staff were impersonal and unfriendly. Can’t recommend going under new restrictions of only being outside. Menu is incredibly limited and the surroundings are really loud on a main road, the open table menu had lots of nice sounding mains but they weren’t there.
