Prezzo in Spelthorne

First time we have been here, quick, friendly service, good food - particularly enjoyed the mushroom and mascarpone arancini. (And the Blood Orange & Peach Spritz!)

Absolutely shockingly poor service by the female restaurant manager. Extremely rude, slow service although the restaurant was empty. Booked for the bottomless brunch and they purposely slowed down the service by not offering anything to us. Had to go out to the bar each time I wanted a drink as the manger and waiter couldn’t be asked to come to Us. Left most of my food as it was overcooked and no check back was done to see if things were ok. Felt awful as my friend took me there to celebrate my birthday. I will not return

Went for bottomless brunch . Absolutely awful. Keara the restaurant manager so rude and awful service . Had to approach the bar continuously for drinks and food order. Pizzas was over cooked . Restaurant dead. The manager got upset when I didnt leave a tip as they weren’t attentive . Showed out . Very upset and disappointed as this was a friends 40th birthday .not sure if visit again as this is the third time I’ve visited for a special occasion and been let down . I feel so sorry for my friend x

Attended for my sister’s birthday with family. We were warmly welcomed from the start, and quickly seated. Waitress asked for our drink orders within minutes, followed by food orders. All servers and Manager/Team leader was amazing and accommodating. Food was very good too. Recommend a visit.

What rubbish service Started to Serve a meal to us with waitress telling the vegetarian on our table that it was vegetarian bolognese when it was not. Another waitress came and took them to another table, after they had been served to us. Seemed to miss our order, 2 other tables served before us Hot drinks were poorly made, Luke warm and nearly cold. The Amaretto latte was served incorrectly, had to be sent back. Came back with the correct ingredients, but was virtually cold. Had to come up to the counter to ask for milk to go with the tea One dessert was served without the listed accompaniments detailed on the menu. We could have sent it back, but had given up by then!

Went into Prezzo Staines for lunch.  I tried their new Tusan Sauggages and Lentil Ragu.  The Sauggages were OK, but the Lentil Ragu was absolutely delicious.  It was so good that I told the staff that it would be delicious on its own with a a pasta.  It is a shame that now it is winter they have taken their Ceanti Beef stew off the menu.  I find that all the staff that I meet at the Restaurant are all so friendly and helpful. 

The service was absolutely amazing. A friend and I met up after not seeing each other for a while and were amazed at the friendly customer service from the staff, especially Kiara and Julie who were our main servers for the night. We got there 15 minutes early and expected to be told to wait but to our surprise they were able to take us through. The food was amazing and we didn’t wait too long for the food even though it was quite busy in there.

It was my birthday dinner with my partner. Hubert made our night even better! Best person we ever seen in any Italian restaurants! Thank you boy once again!

Terrible service. They were not busy and ignored our table for 30 minutes. They were eventually summoned, took the order and didn’t bring drinks for another 15 minutes. We complained and walked out. A total waste of time -Our first time visit, never again.

We visited prezzo staines for a quick dinner with my beloved girlfriend. The service was outstanding, we have been serve by Luis and a kind Asian lady I didn't catch the name. The food was good and that is good for a restaurant. We will definitely coming back maybe with a different girlfriend, one more funny maybe.

Visited on a Monday was almost empty food and service were ok service could’ve been friendlier and better as it was so quiet no complaints but could’ve been so much better.

Slow service today. We arrived and got seated straight away. We were also told we only had an hour and a half to eat and leave because we hadn't booked. We then ordered drinks. They were left on the side for around 10 minutes and we were over charged and served the wrong drink. Starter came straight away. We had garlic bread and added mozzarella which was delicious. Are main meal took around half an hour or so to come to us but was great and enjoyable when we finally did get it. Then ordered desserts. Took a while to come but was tasty. The bill was wrong and we were being rushed out. Overall wouldn't recommend.

Service was good but the food was tasteless. Ordered grilled chicken burger , which was dry as chicken was overcooked and really just tasteless. @)£16 really not worth it

Visited Saturday evening at 9:30pm as we had been at thorpe park scarefest, were planning on going zizzis but they shut their kitchen at 9:30 and told us we couldn’t eat despite having a reservation 3 days prior, came here on a whim hoping theyd still be serving and although they were closing in 15 minutes they were most accommodating and let us have not only mains but desserts aswell, working as a restaurant manager myself i know late tables are not ideal but the lady serving us was so welcoming and accommodating and the food was 10/10. Although the service was fast as they were trying to close, not once did the standards slip or were we made to feel rushed, thanks again for helping us out at such late and short notice we’re extremely grateful

We waited quite some time for our drinks. My pizza was given to another customer taken back to the pass then brought out to me when my husbands meal was ready. My pizza was lukewarm. I asked a gentleman who I later found out was the manager Gabriel if this pizza was the same one that had been served to another customer. He said he would find out. He didn’t come back, instead he sent the young waitress to tell me yes it was. Was that a problem, did I want her to take it back! I said no. The young lady came back shortly & asked if everything was ok, I said not really, she didn’t really know how to deal with the situation, not her fault, bad training I would suggest. At the end of the meal she asked if we would like anything else or a dessert we declined & asked for the bill. The young lady said she would ask her manager Gabriel to take the pizza off the bill. I let her know I had a blue light NHS discount card. She went away to sort the bill. She came back with the bill & said her manager would only take 25% off the pizza. I then showed her my blue light card again & she went away to take that 20% off. What happened next was unbelievable. The manager Gabriel came over & said he wouldn’t take the blue light discount off as he had taken 25% off the pizza. I said you did that due to a complaint, not my issue. He then went on to argue with me at the table that the company are no longer doing 20% discount for NHS blue light card holders but they hadn’t written to all companies & it was only 15% but I argued back & offered to show him my NHS blue light app which still showed 20% discount to NHS staff with blue light cards. He told me I could write to head office to complain but because I would not back down he eventually honoured my 20% discount. He did not come back to the table with the amended bill, he again sent the young girl over but he had taken the pizza off the bill & the blue light 20% discount. I have never been treated so appallingly by a manager in a restaurant as I have tonight. We still gave the girl £5 tip as it was but her fault. I have worked in customer service for 30 years & would never treat or allow a member of my staff to treat a customer in such a way. Appalling service

Visited last night and overall was very happy with everything. Service was quick and polite. Food was lovely and hot. No complaints from us and if back in the area will eat here again.

Not just this but ovbiously all the Prezzo restaurants for some reason bumped the prices up. A (non basic) pasta dishes is now £15 compared to £11-12 from 2019. Same for starters. Some are now a staggering £7.90 compared to the £5 they were before....

We’ve always liked Prezzo wish there was one in Chertsey! We’d been shopping and chose Prezzo as it has a good choice of food and more upmarket ambience compared to the other fast food places close by. We were served by Sonia both times - she even remembered us from last week! Sonia was really lovely and friendly and good quick service. We shared a large bottle of Peroni and both had burgers, cooked perfectly. Thanks for a lovely Saturday afternoon.

Went into Prezzo Staines for lunch. When I came here a couple of years ago I had such a bad experience that I had to give it a 1 star rating. Today I decided unusually to give the place a try again. Usually if I give a poor rating I DO NOT go back. I was looked after by Martina. Message to management look after after her she is good. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was delicious. I will definitely be eating there again. 

We had a lovely meal here in the Staines branch. As a vegan I was well catered for and my friends and family all enjoyed their meals. I am writing this review because our waitress was very good, attentive even though it was very busy and so friendly. She was really great and we hope that she gets told how fab she is. It’s not often you come across people like her who really care about you meal. I forgot to take my receipt to feedback via Prezzo but hope she sees this! Her name was Sophie B. Food came nice and quickly, well priced and good atmosphere!

We had dinner here last night and the food was delicious. We had king prawn for starter and it was so good. The risotto with salmon and spaghetti king prawn for main course was even better. We finished off the meal with the mini dessert & coffee which was a great end to the meal. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience. The server was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely dine here again.

Amazing food, with good seating and fabulous staff! If you want to chat and relax- it’s a perfect place to go with friends and family.

I have not been to Prezzo for a a couple of months. I was convinced by the waitress Charlotte to return. The Manager Gemma was outstanding. The food was impeccable.. the service was above & beyond. The Manager was very sympathetic & her waitresses on duty couldn’t do enough. Always visit when Gemma on shift, Charlotte as usual presentable & friendly . Prezzo owes this Manager, I hope they don’t let her go.

Had a wonderful meal with my partner before attending the cinema on Weds 13/11/19. Food was as tasty as usual (Tre Gusti with added chilli oil is highly recommended!) and service was perfect. Our waitress, Sophie B, was friendly, funny and showed us just the right level of attention you want when you go for a meal. First time we’d used the Meerkat Offer eating out and Sophie was really helpful in helping us understand using it. The timing of each course being brought out was ideal so I’m surprised to read a review for the same night complaining of long waits. Certainly wasn’t the case with us.My first Trip Advisor review so I’m glad to leave it for such a pleasant visit.

Went for a family meal . The service was very slow waited 30 minutes for meal and a further 30 for dessert . Main meal was cold Was so cold in there had to keep coat on Would not go back

Great restaurant and staff who accommodate well to families. We have two children under 5 years old and they love going for dinner at this restaurant. Food is of a good quality and at a reasonable price

Visited tonight with my partner 03/11/19 And had a lovely time. We wanted to take time to say thank you to our waitress Sophie. She provided excellent customer service and was very polite. Definitely deserves a some form of commendation for her hard work.

Food was ok but when I asked for a cider shandy I was told I could have a lemonade and a cider in separate glasses and it would cost more. To pay for the extra washing up I suppose.

Today the food in prezzo was delicious and above standard. I’ve been coming here a very long time and the chef Adrian is always amazing and great service from Carmen as usual . Again thank you for lunch

We popped in and asked for a table but they wet fully booked and very apologetic. As we were leaving one of the waitresses ran to get us as a table had just come free.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Service was a trifle slow, but the waitress was superb and very obliging and professional.We went at lunchtime and thought that school holidays would be over. They weren't!!!! The restaurant was very noisy and things weren't helped by the awful cacophony being played through the loudspeakers! The majority of the staff and clientele are young, so this is possibly what appeals to them. It's certainly not conducive to quiet conversation! In fairness, the waitress did ask for the volume to be turned down and this was done. The food was well prepared, as ordered and served attractively. The wine was well chilled. This is a family restaurant which offers various deals - these keep the prices down. would certainly recommend Prezzo for it's very good service and decent food.

I’m in a restaurant business for a long time so I’m eligible to say that guy who runs Prezzo(Matt) is absolutely amazing manager,lad who can make sure that arrival customer gets his attention straight away,managing the floor staff and taking orders offer him a job and Matt’s answer was:I cannot I give my word to my manager...well done for everything that you did for us that evening!!!!

Five of us went for a meal here tonight. We ordered 4 pizzas and a spag bol. The food took a long time to come but it was really good and well presented. The staff were nice but again, very slow to clear plates and take our orders. We did order deserts which were nice. A lovely meal but don't go in here if you're in a rush.

Very friendly welcome. We had a prepaid voucher for three courses and a glass of wine. There was no problem to switch one of the wines for a beer instead. The manager was extremely helpful with a query regarding the set menu. Food was fresh and large portions. Staff very attentive. Recommend.

The food, while not out of the ordinary, is well-cooked, well-presented and tasty. What really makes this restaurant stand out is the service - greeting staff and waiters are friendly, chatty and attentive, without being overpowering. A great example of customer service.

We ate here recently, and I had been before, but this time the portions seemed to have shrunk! The garlic bread was naan bread - which seemed a bit odd? I ordered a salad & they brought it with chicken, which I hadn't ordered so they made another one. This had broccoli - which arrived steaming hot on the salad - I thought that was also odd? Especially as the chips I ordered were just about warm! Not sure if they were having a bad day, as despite the restaurant being far from full the food took a while to arrive.

The place is always fully booked every friday night and sat night, lucky we had some seat. Ordered lobster crab ravioli with saffron sauce, the filling is dry and tasteless, pasta is undercooked, and felt like it was defrosted too quickly. Had to wait for this dish for quite a while but the wait wasnt worth it, im afraid. Husband ordered a beef ragu with spagetti, it looked better than mine, tasted average though. I have found the cocktail -pornstar martini was good, but thats it. I want to think maybe I picked the wrong menu. I shouldve gone for the beef burger, maybe.

We visited here on Saturday night. There were 8 of us and we had pre-booked. The restaurant was fairly busy but not overly considering it was a Saturday night. The staff were so rude and unprofessional. The main waiter had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp and was constantly tutting at us as we decided what we were having to eat. I can only assume because the 2 minutes it took to take our full order was too much of an inconvenience for him. Our drinks took 20 mins to arrive, yet we could see them sat on a tray at the bar! Everything we said or asked for was too much trouble for them and we were made to feel very unwelcome! We will not be returning here again and will stick to the other branches in future.

Went last night for quick meal after cinema. Seated promptly then had to wait to order -had to summon staff. Waited ages for drinks then food arrived first. My mushroom risotto was seafood. Luckily I am not vegetarian. However it was delicious! Waited ages to get the bill. Restaurant was not particularly busy so feel some staff training in promptness and attention to detail is needed.

We arrived around 19:20 and the place may have been around 30% full. We ordered by 1930 off the set menu. We then waited 30 minutes for a dry calamari starter. After finishing we waited another 30 minutes for cold mains that had clearly sat on a hot plate for a while. A lot of people who got in after us had their food before us. The pasta was cold and crunchy on the top. I ordered the beef burger which I was later told they had no beef. I accepted the chicken replacement wow it was dry! So dry I decided not to eat it. A fly landed on the table and even that wasnt interested in the poor quality being offered. The set menu is around £15 which really isn't a lot but you dont get value for money here. This is my second visit to a prezzo and again I am disappointed. Nothing felt fresh. I imagine most of the ingredients are brought in pre cooked and warmed up for the customers.

We booked a table here a few hours before we went. We had a voucher deal but our friends did not. Booked with ease through the site and was able to explain this to the staff. When we arrived, our table was set perfectly for two “set menu” customers and two “a la carte”, complete with place setting for our young guest. Could not fault this.

Excellent.. attentive staff. Usual atmosphere for a prezzo. Honestly not my first choice of restaurant but was a friends birthday and she chose. Overall very pleasant and staff were amazing. Great food and delicious Aperol Spritzer. Reasonable honest food thanks you

This place is not a place to eat! Food was sickening, one staff member had his eyes locked on us. Made us feel very uncomfortable. I’ve been to every place to eat around Staines and would recommend anything but this. By far the worst place. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. Tesco ready meals are better than this! P.s I never do reviews, but this was too bad I had to warn others.

Have not been to prezzo in a while, the new manager was very welcoming, food has improved massively. The service was outstanding .. Dimitar was brilliant .. lovely to talk too could not do enough ... his hospitality was one of the best in along time, he will have a positive effect on the staff, Prezzo PLEASE keep this Manager happy...

Best carbonara i had ever. Congratulations to the chef!! The restaurant its very kind. Even the lady who its been taking my order it was very educated! Thank you Prezzo. Will be back soon!

Excellent lunch, atmosphere was lovely but the waiter/manager went above and beyond to help us. My friend who is vegan was very impressed with his knowledge.

Had a lovely meal at Prezzo. Customer service good. Food was lovely. Husband didn’t like the tomato sauce on the meatballs as he said it was cool and not smooth enough. Otherwise the rest was lovely, particularly my pasta. Good atmosphere and very pleasant meal out. We will return.

Friendly greeting on arrival and found this a clean and fresh restaurant. Food was good and the service was quick considering they were busy. Plenty of waiting staff who were attentive.

We went here for my son's 9th birthday dinner with a group of his friends. They were very accomodating, particularly as on of the children has a serious food allergy. Service was outstanding (Thank you Sophie!) and the food was very good. Highly recommended..

I went there with some friends for a quick bite, we all had a lovely time and nice food, recommended if you are around the centre , friendly service and tasty food , all around a lovely surprise..

Come to Prezzo quite often with friends or family, and I'm never disappointed. The food is always superb and the service is impeccable. Came out on a Friday night with 3 friends expecting it to be a tad busier and slower service than usual but in fact the staff were still as welcoming and efficient as they have been for my many other visits. I tried the Penne Gorgonzola for the first time and it was excellent. I really recommend Prezzo as I have never been let down by them, and my friends thouroughly enjoyed it too.

We had pre booked, there was a nice table all set ready for us. 5 had starters (3 breaded mushrooms 2 had garlic bread) 6 main meal (lasagna, mozzarella pasta, 2 chicken and mushroom, cheese margarita stone bake pizza, and chicken pasta) all meals eaten and all left clean plates. 4 had puddings (1 sticky toffee, 2 honeycomb pies, and a cheese cake mini and hot chocolate drink) again all eaten and clean plates.

The service here was very friendly however the food was particularly average. Mainly because it wasn’t served hot and was served in cold bowls (pasta) which meant it went colder quicker too.

Waiting staff are lovely and attentive. Food was wonderful. No request was too difficult and we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Prezzo were fantastic in accommodating our latge family booking and even when we had to add people they were happy to help. When we arrived the staff had organised the tables perfectly thinking of space and to ensure evening was comfortable and efficient. Charlotte and Sophie were great they made sure everyone was happy and looked after, even keeping the kids smiling. The food came out hot and pretty much altogether despite there being so many of us. The food was very good as usual (part of the reason we chose this venue) We had a lovely evening all together with good food and drink. Thank you for team for making the evening easy and for coping with such a large party so well. We regularly visit and will continue to do so.

Having found ourselves child free for the evening my husband and I decided on an impromptu visit back to Prezzo. We had not booked and arrived to find the restaurant packed. However the staff managed to accommodate us. The food yet again did not disappoint. I had the hummus to start and it was an extremely generous sized portion, followed by the chicken which was delicious. My husband also enjoyed his mushrooms and pizza. The two young girls who served us were attentive and friendly.

Had lunch with my young daughter - we come here quite regularly and despite the new faces in Prezzo we are welcomed warmly each time - not only this but (I believe) the manageress ensured my daughter had her starter exactly as she liked it remembering this from our previous visit - really love staff and the Calzone was amazing!

I have been in Staines a couple of weeks ago and we popped in for lunch in Prezzo. We've been greated by a lad and sat quickly to a window table. Food was tasty, hot and generous portions but what really impressed us was the service with a smile received from the blonde lady which really made our experience !!!

Came out for lunch with my sister, she really wanted to go to Prezzo and she was not disappointed. We loved the atmosphere, the service was perfect and the food was impeccable, could not be faulted. The restaurants and staff are very welcoming and there is plenty of choice on the menu. I, myself enjoy going to Prezzo with my friends quite often and still enjoy the food even more every time. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her first visit to Prezzo and has said that she will be returning 110%. Would definitely recommend!!

Second time in Staines and i decided to try Prezzo for a quick lunch and i wasn t disappointed . The burger and the calzone were perfect such a good lunch definetely coming back.

For being a chain the food is ok, although they don't know what "al dente" means, so expect overcooked pasta.

Had a wonderful evening at Prezzo staines the staff are all very friendly. Portion size is great the large pizza is big enough to share not too heavy either. The brucheta is superb and huge! Prezzo do a amazing value desert where you get a mini cheasecake with any hot drink for around £6 and it's just right. Will definitely be going back

Charlotte was our lovely waitress and could not fault her. Fillings in Calzone's could have been more, and toppings on kids pizzas could have been closer to the edges than just in the centre. Manager not overly accommodating for dessert choices so went elsewhere. Had a lovely meal but won't be rushing back to this particular branch.

I regularly eat in Prezzo but this is the first time at Staines. The food is always at a reasonable standard. The one thing that stood out for me was the Manager who was working last night, he was so attentive and very friendly so I will definitely come back here again. The restaurant also had a nice atmosphere.

Sunday teatime dinner and we ordered 2 salads but when they arrived, one was missing avocado and bacon (the main ingredients!) and the main ingredient on the other (butternut squash). The avocado and bacon were subsequently added but It turned out they had run out of the squash but no offered any replacement meal. Poor in general so avoid...

I've been going to Prezzo in Staines for a few years now and it's always been pretty good. But recently it's just had a nice refurb and some fantastic new team members! Andreea is brilliant she remembers all my little quirks and nothing is too much trouble! I've seen a massive improvement on the table service and food. I'm not sure if there is a new chef to because the food came out quickly and was very tasty!! Started by not accepting NHS discount, with no real reason why, then got warm water, and quite a few things off the menu. Food was OK, service was OK. Wouldn't rush back

Had a very good time at prezzo for a meal with a friend. The service was excellent and members of staff were very attentive and made sure that we always had a drink, or anything we wanted. Overall excellent experience and would go back anytime.

Visited this branch on a busy Wednesday evening with some friend for a quick dinner before the cinema, the staff we're more than friendly and made sure our food was ready quick so we won't loose our movie.

Absolutely lovely and scrumptious. However the staff were a bit lowkey, and not particuklarly professional. However, friendly atmosphere, cheesy pizza. Absolutely gorgeous. PS, don't forget your Tesco vouchers
