The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

this is the best takeaway place i’ve had and i’ve had a lot i mean the pizza is beautiful especially the cheese and everything there is good i’ve never ever had it bad or my order done wrong

Lovely small pub very old and historic food fantastic a lovely place to hold a function or an evening drink or meal on bus route and easy to get to from Edgware by car only negative car park small but u can park on highwood hill would highly recommend it

Amazing dining experience at this Ask Italian Restaurant. Jack our server was super friendly and a great laugh. Very professional and clearly loves his work. Excellent service and with Jack’s sense of humour, made the food even better. Definitely will come again and recommend to all!

Menu has changed and now quite restricted. Not much in way of grilled food or fish. Bulk of the menu is pasta or pizza. Would benefit with being more varied. It would also be nice if the manager, when serving, was not eating something himself. Quite off putting when he is serving a side of fries. Left wondering whether he had pinched some before serving them!

Such a shame. It was so good last time I went but this time it was not. Instead of focaccia bread we were brought a pizza base with rosemary sprigs which was cold and hard. Half the wines were not available and the wine I had was fizzing in the glass on tasting, I’ve never been asked if I’d ’like to try again’ after commenting on a temp displaced wine, being screw top I knew it was harmless so didn’t complain and spoil it for the others but it was ruined for me. The pasta sauce was lacking, fish was cold, ravioli was too thick and dessert wasn’t quite chilled. On the plus side there was one waiter who seemed to be making the effort. The others need to learn to smile, and some manners would be nice. Nothing worse than a sullen and disrespectful service of a very pricey drink. For the money, it wasn’t worth it. Won’t be back.

Steak was cooked well but had to order and pay for everything else separately it did not come with anything else. And vegan lasagne was like a microwave ready meal from a supermarket

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place was a total disaster from start to finish. The atmosphere was dreadful — loud, chaotic, and uncomfortable. We waited for nearly an entire hour for our order, only to find out they had completely forgotten about it. When the food finally showed up, it was stone cold and completely tasteless. I’ve had frozen pizzas that were better than this. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Total waste of time and money.

Horrible delivery driver spoke to me like rubbish on the floor made everything very difficult.

delivery time said 25-40 mins. ordered at 6.25pm and was delivered at 9.06pm. Food was freezing cold

Had a plate of Rigatoni Arrabbiata! Was delicious. Only negative was that the staff who served us seemed like they didnt welcome me and my partner, and that we were a bother. Unsure what that was about, and it will probably affect me recommending the restaurant to others in the future. Food and atmosphere were great, but service was severely lacking.

Love this place, the people that work here are ace, they always read the comments/requests. Food is always hot and delivered promptly. I can say that donner wrap, donner kebab, cheese burger, chicken fillet burger, chips/cheesy chips, chicken tikka, pizzas, milkshakes and side orders are beautiful. Brilliant local take away! Thank you from the kirkdales :)

If you’re a fan of Asian food like me—especially Chinese cuisine—Renshaw Street Food Market is a must-visit! There’s a great variety of options to choose from, and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and authentic. It’s my go-to spot whenever I’m in the area. Bonus points for the clean toilet facilities, which is always a big plus when you’re out and about. Highly recommend!
