The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We had gone past this restaurant on several occasions and there was always a queue. Tonight however we got a table. We loved our pasta dishes, both hot, tasty an the pasta al dente. Reasonable prices we thought. Recommended.

This place deserves top marks - a friendly welcome; super-efficient preparation of tables (even on a very busy evening); attentive and good-humoured staff; great food. What more can you ask of a drop-in pizza place in central London? Ivo the waiter was awesome - a terrific evening.

I passed this restaurant every day when I was on jury service and loved the flowers around the front door. Last night my husband and I finally got round to visiting. It did not disappoint. The food wasn't cheap but it was incredible quality and worth every penny. The service was great, very attentive. My husband was tempted away from his usual calzone too. The only thing we disagreed on was whether the tiramisu or creme brulee was better and lets face it, this isnt the worst choice we could have. Will definitely be back

Now renamed, refurbished, under new ownership and operating as an Italian restaurant, so we thought we would give it a try for Sunday lunch. Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal. The food was tasty, well-presented, reasonably priced and arrived with little delay. The staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient without being intrusive. Our only suggestions would be - it would be nice if dogs could be allowed in the outside dining area, and please add ice cream to the dessert menu!

Un buen café viene panadería. El café era muy bueno y la selección de comida era fantástica y de gran calidad. Personalmente pensé que el servicio era un poco lento, pero no es una ruptura del trato. Volveré a visitar cuando en la zona.

Absolutely abysmal! Booked for a Mother's day surprise, didn't get our starters for an hour then had to wait another hour for the main courses and when they did come out they had forgot 2 of the mains both the mothers food! Once it finally did come another 20 minutes later they were both stone cold! Will definitely not be back

Good service. Nice food - not any better than I cook at home. Overpriced for what you get. Big service charge for doing what’s expected at a restaurant.

I went with a group of friends, for a pre Christmas meal. The serving staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful they were amazing. The food came at just the right pace which isn't always achieved with such a big group of people all to serve at once. The food was amazing, every one of us had food envy of what the others had ordered but were very happy with what we ate ourselves. I will definitely be going back again.
