The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

The restaurant is nice, the staff are friendly. It's a restaurant attached to a bowling alley so I wasn't expecting too much. The food arrived quickly and was mediocre. I ordered a Cajun buttermilk burger and got a battered chicken burger with a dusting of Cajun spice mix, 2 little gem leaves and a slice of tomato, no sauce at all. It was edible and bland. My party members all ordered burgers, one was supposed to be spicy but he said it wasn't spicy at all. The others said they were "fine". I think it's a little over priced for what you get which I'd put on a par with wetherspoons. It was a nice snack after using the bowling alley but I wouldn't be in a hurry to make a return trip and would be a little disappointed if I made a special trip to the restaurant.

Excellent calamari starter followed by delicious tagliatelle bolognaise. Nice wine to accompany the food. Service very friendly and efficient. Going back very soon.

Mohammed served us and was fabulous from beginning to end, very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He recommended dishes, brought exactly what we ordered without writing it down, and remembered who ordered what so when it came to the bill, he itemised each of our group separately so we could each pay our own, and was absolutely correct. An amazing asset to the place.

WARNING DOG FRIENDLY unfortunately while celebrating a family birthday lunch. I suffered an allergic reaction to a golden retriever (who was not a service dog). When raised to staff, we were advised we should have disclosed my allergy to dogs when sitting. If you are persons who do not wish to dine with dogs in a restaurant or like me have allergies to dogs, be warned this restaurant is dog friendly and you may find yourselves dining with dogs.

Brilliant evening with friends and Derek was an absolute star! We were seated immediately on our arrival and our drinks order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. The food came at a suitable speed and everything we had was excellent. However the best part of the evening was Derek who looked after us brilliantly. So we will definitely go back! Thank you Derek.

Fuimos recomendados por un amigo y este pequeño, acogedor, íntimo y muy amable restaurante italiano que sirve platos clásicos regionales italianos es simplemente increíble. El servicio es excelente y cada plato una obra maestra de sabores y gustos. Hemos visitado para la cena 3 veces en el último mes y seguiremos volviendo por más. Es realmente un lugar especial apoyado por muchos clientes habituales. Si disfrutas del vino con tu comida puedes traer el tuyo propio y no hay cargo por descorche. Un elemento que no está en el menú que tenía y probablemente fue el mejor que he comido es su milanesa de ternera servida con espagueti boloñesa. También hacen un Pollo (Pollo) milanés y el camarero dijo que se puede tener cualquiera con cualquier opción de pasta. Second time visiting here food & service was exceptional and only 5 mins from our house . I would highly recommend here and I look forward to returning so good to have a lovely Italian restaurant locally just what we need
