Santa Lucia in Kensington and Chelsea

Long waiting for our food, unfortunately the food wasn’t really worth the waiting the squid didn’t really tasted fresh it’s really more like a trattoria than a restaurant,

Mediocre italian pizzeria/trattoria. The pizzas, were ok as well as the starters but nit excellent. Service was friendly but sluggish.

We go there almost every week and the food is amazing! These guys do a wonderful job especially when it’s busy. It is very hard to find in Chelsea an authentic Italian Restaurant with such a good pizza. We definitely recommend it! I want to say something else: Thank Good they are on Deliveroo!! This way we can have our favourite dishes even when the weather is too bad to go out or we are simply feeling lazy.

Arrived at 6.05pm last night. The restaurant was busy due to chelsea playing at home. We left at 7.30pm without being served our pizza which we had ordered over an hour before. The waitress was surly and unapologetic despite our attempts to find out where our food was. After 5 attempts to get the bill the manageress came over and said.. ' we are sorry, we have taken the pizza off your bill'... unbelievable. As a previous reviewer commented it felt like a hub for deliveroo rather than a restaurant.

Great pizzeria, went there with my family, we had pizza and pasta they were both extremely tasty! Will visit again

Having booked a table for 8:15, arrived on time and left standing in centre of room for 10 minutes, as clearly totally understaffed and those that there were were really stressed. Once we sat ourselves at a table after anothe 30 minutes and not even a glass of water I got up and hunted for manager... who said we’re really busy. Clearly a lot of that is with the constant feliverooo couriers coming in am collecting orders which probably would have been a lot quicker than actually being in the restaurant! Overpriced, not great food all- in all not a experience I would wish tomoay for a again!

I watched my Pizza being made, saw it in the oven, It tasted great, good service, nice staff. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

Two adults, two children and a teenager all had a great time at this very accommodating pizza restaurant. The staff were very friendly and understanding and a big thanks to the chef who, without asking made the children a special ‘rabbit’ face pizza. We loved the way the pizza was served and very tasty too!

We’ve been in this restaurant actually by mistake, but we went out really satisfied. We had the special’s of the chef. Spaghetti Crab and linguine Lobster. Best pasta experience ever. So tasty and delicious, we didn’t expect it. Really recommended.

My 6 year old daughter calls this great little gem, Bunny Pizza, because they will oblige every child’s requests for innumerable versions of pizza to amuse entertain and distract.. Parents and fellow diners enjoy this relaxed and well regarded nice simple Italian. The team are all very engaging and obliging, the menus simple and accessible and the pizza and pasta very good, the steaks and chicken dishes all really appreciated by a loyal local following. Be sure to say how you like it and it will be done. This is casual dining and very warm service levels are attentive. Alexandra stands out as a special person within a special team. You dont come here to impress a new boss but you will make repeated visits if you live nearby and you know that the team and Alexandra will look after you.. Amongst all the fine dining in Hollywood Road,, this is a little local you can just drop into and know you get well looked after,, that’s a big plus .. Made in Italy specialise in the villages of London and this little village of Chelsea benefits..

The food was delicious, fresh and truly reminded me of Italy. The service was quick and the staff were very kind and professional. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it still remains spectacular. Can’t wait to come back!

Locale carino, pizza discreta, prezzi nella media dei ristoranti di Londra. Prevalentemente si mangia pizza, ma è anche possibile mangiare un po' di pesce o carne. Un consiglio spassionato: svegliare un po' il personale di sala: sfuggono ordinazioni e sono lenti nelle richieste. Apprezzate le scuse da parte del titolare, che rendendosi conto dell'inconveniente, c'ha offerto il dolce.

First of all this called pizzeria have the worst pizza I’ve ever tried.

This has become the worst restaurant since their menu changed (prices increased for £2 up on every dish and portion sizes became half then before,) and of course since the new "manager" arrived! HORRIBLE DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE EVER! 3 of us sat outside and ordering lots of food and wine (spending lot of money) even ignoring the rude inexperienced staff (They don't even know how to open a bottle of wine) , table outside next to ours empty, the "manager" comes and tells us that in London there is a policy that customers cannot seat on outside restaurant table for more then 1 and a half hour in other words he is telling us you need to leave! This is in the middle of our food and still half a bottle of wine to go!!!!! What a ridiculous piece of a human that "manager" is! We had never experienced anything like this in our 20 years living in Central London! Disaster! This guy has ruined the reputation of this restaurant, before they use to have nice people! Then after us complaining, he changed and started smiling, saying that what he said is not true but he only said it because he noticed we were gonna smoke cigars and Maybe customers will complain for the smoke!!(only one other couple seating outside very very far from us and also they are smoking cigarettes) ! This guy not only needs to leave this restaurant position but also he needs to move far away from Chelsea and our local Holywood road, He doesn't belong in London at all! He is ruining the lovely Chelsea reputation by his rudeness, idiotisam, strange face and language!

Mi esposa y yo nos quedamos por 3 noches en Chelsea mientras visitamos el espectáculo de flores. Visitamos Santa Lucía para una corrección de pizza en nuestra primera noche, y lo disfrutamos completamente. La comida, el vino y el servicio eran todos muy buenos. Mientras que la práctica de aplicar un 'discrecional' 12. El cargo por servicio del 5% parece estar muy extendido en el Reino Unido ahora, todavía nos parece engañoso, y preferiríamos ver un aumento en el precio de cobertura, y dejarnos a nosotros decidir si dar o no la propina.

Hermoso ambiente y buena comida, hubiera calificado el restaurante con 4 estrellas pero no estaban preparados para un fin de semana festivo: el domingo por la noche no tenían más masa para pizzas redondas, así que mi amigo y yo tuvimos que tomar el largo cuadrado uno. Normalmente, esto no es un problema, pero nos decepcionó porque el tamaño de la porción era más pequeño que una pizza redonda normal.

Un grupo de 10 de nosotros fuimos aquí para una comida después del trabajo un viernes por la noche. Algunos de nosotros habíamos estado antes y realmente disfrutamos la comida. Lamentablemente este no fue el caso por segunda vez. Bueno, las pizzas son agradables y el personal es amable, pero en primer lugar el menú es bastante limitado, no exactamente el menú que anuncian en línea y, en segundo lugar, parte de la comida servida no era mejor que una comida preparada. ! ! Tres personas en el grupo tenían la pasta de mariscos, bueno yo digo que los mariscos tenían 1 almeja y 3 conchas vacías de almejas, 1 de mejillón y 3 conchas de mejillones vacías y 1 de gambas, realmente no vale la pena las 16. 50 de carga. ¡Otro amigo tenía una pizza vegetariana y tuvo que cubrirla en hojuelas de chile para darle un poco de sabor! ! ! Después de un poco de debate, el precio de las pastas de mariscos se eliminó de la comida, pero dudo que alguno de nosotros vuelva corriendo de nuevo.

Hemos estado aquí dos veces desde que llegamos a Chelsea y nos encanta su comida. Vivimos en Italia durante unos cuatro meses y este es el verdadero negocio. Pasta fresca, hermosas ensaladas. Apreciaron nuestros intentos de ordenar en italiano. Como en Italia, el personal no es agresivo y no preguntará si quiere el postre o el cheque hasta que lo pida. Una diferencia refrescante de otro restaurante italiano que no mencionaré que nos apresuró a acercarnos casi al punto de ser absurdo para que pudieran voltear la mesa.

We’ve been there for dinner yesterday with my friends, the atmosphere is good, friendly staff, but overall not a great experience.

I am italian, so I'm quite fussy when it comes to good food and especially pizza! I have to admit that the pizza at Santa Lucia is very nice and with a resonable price. It's a small place and always full of people so I would recommend to book a table before going there. It's not a quite and romantic place, so don't take your partner on the first date, but definitely take her/him if you are craving for a very very good pizza! I strongly recommend it.

We had one of those square pizzas they serve in this cosy restaurant. The food is average, which is reflected in the relative low price. The staff are friendly and efficient. Santa Lucia is the ideal place for a large group of friends who want to share an inexpensive meter long pizza

Fui a Santa Lucía ayer por la noche y después de haber leído algunas de las críticas me sentí un poco escéptico, habiendo sido la persona que eligió el restaurante. Sin embargo, personalmente tuve una noche maravillosa que estuvo llena de un vino encantador y una comida deliciosa.

I’ve recently been there with friends for dinner, Giorgio and his staff are absolutely amazing, professional and caring about the service! The place is sparkling and warm, food is delicious and Pizza is definitely my favourite! Highly recommended, I loved it!

I've been in Santa Lucia with my friends and I found a really friendly atmosphere - funny staff - and delicious pizzas! I personally had the special Seabream and it has been the right choice! Definitely coming back!

The food is generally very good at this restaurant. Pizzas are very nice and pasta is generously portioned. Service can be a tad slow, especially towards the end of the bill but on general pretty good!

A couple of sweet words and the great service of the staff here made the rest of our day feel wonderful. It takes a little, and Santa Lucia has got it!

Todo lo que queríamos era disfrutar de una comida rápida y silenciosa juntos. Gran error. Pedimos un pollo y una pizza Diavola Milanese. Mi pollo llegamos en menos de 5 minutos. Genial! Pero donde la pizza? Esperamos. Y esperé. Todavía no hay pizza para mi esposa. Así que empecé a picar. Y YO extremo angular. Y mi esposa extremo angular. Y muy pronto, el pollo había desaparecido. Todavía no a pesar de los numerosos y pregunta si pizza olas de ida y vuelta a la carta. El hielo que habíamos pedido cuando llegó el pollo también era nada a la vista. Y luego hay que contemplar una pizza llega excepto no el nuestro! ! Es para la mesa de al lado? No orden después de que no? ? Ehhhh? ? Palabras fuertes a camarero 'vinimos aquí para comer juntos, no secuencialmente, etc." Una disculpa algo tímido. Luego la pizza 'nera' llega, humo de su corteza de curling ennegrecido. WTHECK? ? ? Mi esposa tomó la opción de el borde quemado de ser eliminado pero desgraciadamente! El MD viene corriendo diciendo o que no quieras la pizza y se convierte en su talón. Nos derriba el agua, sobre como nos empuje hacia atrás de la mesa, en la mera incompetencia atónita, arrogancia, y surrealista la grosería y la falta de disculpas. Y el lugar es menos de la mitad. Y se llama una pizzería! ! Este lugar solía ser genial, un maravilloso barrio italiano. Ahora, su uso tanto como una marquesina del autobús. Un lugar para ir cuando llueve. Una verdadera vergüenza para los propietarios de hecho en Italia. Que pena por ti.

Vinimos aquí para cenar temprano el sábado por la noche. El restaurante era muy acogedor, que acababa de regresar de Roma y era agradable pretenda todavía estábamos allí.

Went here before the Chelsea match on Tuesday. They were busy but this didn't affect the service. We shared a seabass carpaccio starter, which was nice and light. Then I had the wild boar ragu which was very nice. My husband had a margarita pizza and when it arrived and asked for extra toppings, this wasn't problem for staff. The canal had run out but they gave us a complimentary alternative dessert instead, which was a good touch. It has a pleasant Italian feel to this restaurant and I would go back.

Un amigo me llevó allí hace un año y teníamos un increíble noche acogedora con buena comida y un gran servicio! Desde entonces, vuelvo cuando estoy en Londres. Me encanta la comida y el ambiente auténtico, que no es la experiencia en Londres. Se siente como estar en Italia y siempre se puede tener una buena carcajada con el personal.

I live on Hollywood Road and used to love this place. I went there tonight and was so shocked and disappointed with the service and food. The tomato & mozzarella salad was totally tasteless and the aubergine parmigiana was hot in places and cold in others. The staff didn’t smile once and every time you asked for something it was like they were doing you a favour. The menu has changed and is awkwardly presented. Such a shame, this place used to be amazing. Bring back Cristina! Bring back our old neighbourhood favourite.

Food was good - I cannot deny that. However, the waiter was one of the most unprofessional and unfriendly individuals I have seen. Lies aft in lies - and a certain point in the night said I would not speak to you. I will not get in the details but suffice to say that when a table was available I was told to wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes. This is the standing at this restaurant.

Bonito restaurante con cocina auténtica y decoraciones hermosas sólo que esta vez era tan ruidoso, mi pizza llegó frío y el camarero tomó años en venir a servir, debe ser porque tenía un montón de clientes. Aprecio un buen servicio y claramente las viernes me sentí abandonada.

Not much to add if not that it took 40 minutes after we arrived to get pizzas, were barely welcomed and addressed to (be it in Italian that we speak fluently as the manager and the staff), probably the notion of service and smile is stranger to that establishment, I would recommend they look out for opportunities as prison wardens... Having said that, food is ...just OK. now the choice is yours!PS : forgot to mention the Music - in our case Salsa/Rumba with speaker nearby at approximately 70dB...

We went there for a night out with 11 friends - following the recommendation by a local resident. Relatively small restaurant, but absolutely beautiful, oozes of style, genuine traditional Italian atmosphere with genuine Italian staff. They offer a choice of 3 set menus for groups like us. We went for no.2 with a most impressive selection of high quality fresh starters, the meat selection with parma ham etc. my favourite out of the lot - being served with tasty fresh warm bread. Main course being the best and most massive stone baked pizza, being served in rectangular format on a massive wood frame by the metre!!!!! This being topped with a large variety of different things across the loooong pizza giving the opportunity to try every flavour one can think of. Certainly not your average pizzeria - different style, the way it's being served in cosy surroundings, very high quality food plus as an additional bonus really friendly, attentive service by the waitresses on duty that evening. Large selection of Italian drinks too, I opted for the always 'morish' :) Moretti beer - an authentic Italian brew. A most memorable experience - well worth the £34 we paid per head for everything! Plus the pizza(s) were so huge and despite all of us having a healthy appetite one took the equivalent of 2x 12" pizzas home... a proper solid cardboard box was provided to transport it safely. Hey, that was a lovely take-away included in the deal for the next day! And as I was the lucky one taking it home - it made after 10 minutes in the oven at home together with a Chianti for another feast being enjoyed the day after at home! I'd highly recommend this wonderful Italian restaurant to everybody - and surely will be back for another occasion... made in Italy rules! Ciao!

Sono stata in questa pizzeria per ben due volte. La prima volta ci era stata nel 2007 consigliata dalla sorella di una amica che vive a Londra e sono rimasta davvero affascinata da questo locale: location curata e pizza ottima.Ci sono poi tornata diversi anni dopo (febbraio 2013) con mia cucina per il suo compleanno. Parlando con la cameriera mi disse che la gestione era cambiata (sempre italiana!) ma posso assicurare che la qualità della pizza era invariata. Impasto grosso e una vasta scelta di gusti. Un punteggio super positivo per il personale, simpatico e cordiale come nella migliore tradizione del Sud Italia. Andammo proprio in occasione del compleanno di mia cugina e lo staff a fine cena le portò un muffin con sopra una candelina e le cantarono "Happy Birthday" tutti in coro!! Una serata davvero piacevole che consiglio a tutti. Se dovessi tornare a Londra sicuramente ci tornerei.

Lovely restaurant I must to admit I went a bit late I wish I could enjoy better the food.... I try not to eat late at night. The Food was really nice.... Service was fast.... Lovely coffee and the decoration of the place is fantastic makes you feel like you are in Italy .... They have a nice traditional pizza oven..... Next time I will give a go to the pizza. Definitely will come back again. Staff was very polite and smily.

I've been to London hundreds of time in the last few years and eat at the S.Lucia restaurant was a concert for my palate, the taste of the pizza is amazing and the service impeccable. Thanks for remind me how nice and tasty is Italian most simple and genuine food even when I'm far from my beautiful land.

Very nice service. Very good pizza. The tomato sauce is fresh and tasty. Still not the best pizza we have ever tasted, but certainly it was worthed the visit.

Wouldn't bother!! After my third try with this restaurant it still was a bad as the first time, no signs of improvement at all.On all three occasions I was there with my wife and four very well behaved children who all enjoy their food and the eating experience. Being an Italian family enjoying good food in a nice atmosphere is important. The restaurant was too noisy to even think and it doesn't matter where you sit, unless you are downstairs on your own, it's noisy. My sons ordered Pizza which was very well presented, which is this restaurants only USP, but the rest of the meal arrived 20 minutes later after having raised a complaint, to be told sorry it's busy. I did offer my apologies that they were busy only to be sneered at!What the staff didn't realise is that I could understand what they were saying in Italian and at that point I should had simply walked out!During this time a waitress dropped a glass which was swept up a few minutes later, the waiter on our table dropped cutlery next to me almost missing me...after the starters were cleared in two sessions. By the time the food did arrive we all too upset to eat. The manager did remove the charges for my daughters and my wife’s food but the bill was still extortionate and the audacity of keeping the service charge of 12.5% is the reason that I felt I should write a review. This is totally appauling!I'm sure the staff are all good people but having worked in catering I can honestly say that it really is not difficult to get it right. Just need to take more care and pay more attention to the paying customer!! Perhaps with someone more experienced running this restaurant might improve but fundamentally before anything else, they need to sort out their acoustics and offer more staff training certainly for the prices they charge!Not a nice eating experience

So the cool thing about this place (and all the Made in Italy chains) is there super long pizzas of 1meter. Its really only worth going for that. The rest is your typical italian restaurant. But if you get 4 people or more, you can get 1m pizza (doesn't have to be the same topping across the whole pizza) and it looks great. We went there for Easter Sunday and it was a blast. I cannot comment on the price as I wasn't really looking. Service: I must say on this occasion the service wasn't great. We had a waitress who was completely lost, she messed up one of the orders and she barely understood English. My girlfriend then spoke Italian to her but she still struggled to get the order even in her native language! Atmosphere: The place is really nice, hidden from the crowds and simply very cosy. Perfect for any occasion. CONCLUSION: I RECOMMEND AND WILL RETURN

I've been here several times with friends and family and it's one of the absolute best pizza restaurants in London. Needless to say, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, staff are lovely and it's never too busy or loud. They've also got a terrace, meaning you can dine outside during the summer. And make sure you try their limoncello!

Excellent italian pizza (I am italian). The restaurant is managed by young kind italian nice guys. Family with kids are welcome.

Vado a Londra almeno 1 volta all'anno e ogni volta torno al ristorante Santa Lucia. Lo consiglio volentieri agli amici, innanzitutto perchè si mangia molto bene (una pizza così buona io l’ho mangiata solo a Napoli) e a prezzi ragionevolissimi; poi per l'ambiente accogliente e originale, che richiama un po' il vicolo di un nostro paese del sud; e infine -ma non è la cosa meno importante- per lo staff attento e gentilissimo che ci lavora. Una menzione particolare va alla manager Cristina: competente, cordiale e simpaticissima, l’anima vera del Santa Lucia!

In occasione del mio soggiorno a Londra ho deciso di provare questo ristorante... siamo rimasti veramente sorpresi per la qualità dei prodotti e dal gusto della cucina, in soli 5 giorni ci siamo ritornati 2 volte.La pizza è buonissima quasi come quella napoletana e buoni anche gli antipasti... staff presente e gentile capitanato dalla simpaticissima Cristina.Continuate così a presto.

A real italian pizza, if more than one person orders a pizza, they make it respectively bigger and longer. You might end up with a really long and crispy pizza that takes most of your table (don't worry - it comes on a an elevated tray so you don't really loose much space from the table. Ok wine. Staff is Italian and really nice. They deliver too. The massive pizza is a great house party food.

I've been to Santa Lucia a couple of times. First night i went for a pizza. Taste was good but the dough was quite heavy to digest. The second time i preferred to avoid pizza and tried spaghetti carbonara which were extremely disappointing. In a restaurant which is supposed to serve real Italian food is unacceptable to prepare carbonara with cream. And if someone does, at least it should be written on the menu The dish had no taste and i walked out extremely disappointed.

Pizzas are very good and my wife had an excellent lobster and prawn linguine. Olives and bread both excellent. Service was fine. All in all would recommend a visit. One caution - our table backed onto an open stair (descending) so I had the uncomfortable feeling of sitting above a "drop".

From a warm welcome by Crisha and her friendly colleagues, to lovely loaf of homemade foccacia, then wine, pasta, pizza....Sta Lucia is truly special. We keep going back for last ten years and we still love it. Thank you Crisha and everyone at Sta Lucia, you all are amazing!

I ve been there once. The location is beautiful, good oven and beautiful interior. Regarding the food, Maybe I ve been unlucky, but the starter was absolutely below the expectation: bad tasting fried octopus, low quality arancini (and small). The pizza (al metro) was definitely below the expected quality, despite it was very good looking... I'd say 5 out of 10. Quite cheap, considering the location, but don t expect quality. Good for local people/average expectations; Italians might be disappointed, as I was.

I booked Santa Lucia for 5 on Sunday night . Was all done by email from their website but still could not find the booking on arrival. Fortunately there was space available on the ground floor ( basement is hot and stuffy to the point of making it really uncomfortable) Pizza by the yard was great as always, very crispy and delicious. The fillings are on the poor side when it comes to quantity and it could be a little more generous. The place is very loud so it is difficult to catch any waiters attention. Service is the low point which is such a shame as this restaurant has the potential to be a great local. Welcome is inexistent , smiles are not on the menu, it is abrupt and coldly efficient. No goodbye either or any intent to check if you enjoyed your evening. will give it a miss for a while.

A very good Pizza in London. All the ingredients were fresh. Very similiar to Napoletana.I will totally recommend it!I had a vegetarial "Calzone" and was Delicious!You can also find original italian products and beer. Make sure you visit soon. We visited over lunch with friends and each had pizza shared. The pizza is baked by the yard and is probably the very best i have had in London. We rushed away for the football but we would have been better Staying and enjoying desert.

Way better than Pizza Express etc. They have a big wood burning oven that gets pizzas cooked in less than 5 minutes. Great taste, service, wine. Buy your pizza by the foot, served on elevated wooden trays. ideal for sharing. Can get very busy at weekends, dont go downstairs unless you have to - atmosphere much bettr upstairs, or sit outside and watch the world go by?

Our first night in London this year. This excuse for a meal was so excruciatingly disappointing!! Undoubtedly the most vile, horribly overpriced, inedible pizza we have EVER attempted to eat. It is safely packed into the rubbish bin, never to be seen, not by us at least, ever again.

Pizza is absolutely delicious and the service is very good. I have been going there for a very long time.

We visited Santa Lucia for a birthday meal and I was most disappointed. Service was not particularly friendly and certainly didn't justify the hefty 12.5% service charge that was automatically added to the bill. Wine by the glass was expensive and the food mediocre. The sharing platter of Italian meats was OK but the equivalent of their garlic bread which is pizza based was burnt and tasteless.My son's carbonara pasta was probably the best of the four meals, mine and my daughter's pizzas, run of the mill with thick pizza base (I know it is supposedly the Naples style not the Rome style) and not worth returning for, and my wife's salad a disgrace.The area probably means they can charge the prices they do, but mediocre food, expensive house wine and indifferent service means this was a one off for me - not recommended!

The foods was very very good. We asked for something simple that wasn't on the menu and they created something much much more delicious and on target.

The place is famous for pizzas and accommodating big groups. Also you can find roasted/grilled fish on the menu for a healthier option. Always busy and fun atmosphere.

Santa Lucia is an amazing italian restaurant nestled in lovely Chelsea/Fulham neighborhood. The atmosphere is very typical, from the decor to the loud italian staff, love it. I had eggplant pasta and my friend had seafood pasta: both tasted amazing and fresh. Would definitely recommend it, you can even have a very long table underground if you are a big group of people like we were once.

Santa Lucia delivers the best pizza in the region and transports you to Italia. The pizza by the metre presentation always leaves first-timers' eyes bulging and mouth-watering in brilliant delight. The ristorante delivers an authentic atmosphere and warm welcome through the enthusiastic staff from the friendly hostess to the servers to the pizza chef proudly displaying his master class Naples-honed skills in the centrepiece wood burning brick oven. The biggest quandary is how to navigate the rest of the tasty menu and give the kitchen chef a chance while always fitting in some of the pizza (suggest mixing it up sometimes sharing pizza as an appetiser or as the main). And don't even get me going about the fresh desserts. Locals keep Santa Lucia buzzing on the Hollywood Road, while the sister ristorante Made in Italy suits if you find yourself strolling down the Kings Road. Buon appetito.

Hmmm after hearing raving reviews from a friend, I thought we would come here for a special celebration. There was only one waitress, who seemed to struggle to serve several tables. It took a long time to order, which we didn't mind too much. However the most disappointing was the food. My boyfriend's pizza had a soggy bottom!?!?!?!? That makes the texture very unpleasant. It was a cheese and aubergine pizza, which has moist ingredients, but it should have been dealt with so the bottom is nice and crisp! The flavour is also a bit bland. My Calzone is okay, but nothing to write home about. I think Pizza Express does better Calzone..... again waited ages to get the bill. Of course, service is automatically added, even with the slow struggling waitress...... Would not return to this branch. Have been to the other made in italy branch at King's Road, way better.

También hablaban el español. la comida esta muy bien y sus pizzas son increíbles. pedimos una pizza de un metro entre 4 amigos. impresionante! era la segunda vez que iba y no me defraudo! la próxima vez que visite londres los visitaré sin ninguna duda!

I ate here this week. The food was very nice, unfortunately we waited a long time to be served, and for our food to arrive - even though there was only about 5 other people in the restaurant. Not the end of the world, however when the bill arrived, I discovered that I had been over charged for the glass of wine I had ordered. The manager happened to be serving us by this time and argued that the size of glass wasn't sold (125ml glass is on the menu), and when I showed her this on the menu, she then argued that I had drunk the larger glass I was served, and therefore should be charged. She was incredibly un-gracious and rude and left a very bad taste in my and my friend's mouth. I won't be rushing back, which is a pity as the food was tasty and I work nearby.

Santa Lucia is part of the Made in Italy group which makes great pizzas and good and reliable Italian food. Specials can be very special! Great take away and they make enormous pizzas with superb crusts. Medium priced and nice house wine!

J'allais souvent diner au Santa Lucia avec mes enfants quand j'habitais Londres, les enfants adoraient, pizzas "al metro" (comprendre rectangulaires), spaghetti carbonara d'exception, spaghettin vongole tres bons et bine relevés. J'y suis retourné en mars 2014 et c'est toujours très bien, musique de salle un peu forte et incommodante, mais pizza toujours aussi bonne. Les desserts laissent un peu à désirer, leurs gateaux au chocolat Ferrero ne sont pas très convaincants Dommage.

I often go to Santa Lucia if I fancy eating a good pizza. It is really good and they always use good quality ingredients. The place inside is very nice and the satff is very friendly

Yesterday night I went to Santa Lucia with some US colleagues. And I always do when I've people coming from abroad and I meet them in London.Reason is that, being Italian I strongly believe in the absolute superiority of our cuisine and I love to demonstrate :-). The place looks Italian and actually is since almost everyone there is Italian including, of course, the chef (or pizza maker). More, before becoming gluten intolerant, I could taste the pizza and it is really good, also for (high) Italian standard. It is prepared according to the Naples style, so tick and soft (vs Roma style - thin and crispy) so someone may not completely appreciate it. But it is his/her fault, not definitively an issue with this place. You can order pizza "at the meter" with different toppings, some completely Italian, some adapted to the local style. For gluten intolerant people they can prepare risottos of meat. Worth a visit!

I live close buy and go to Santa Lucia one in a while for dinner. In summer months (especially when the weather is nice) it does get pretty busy so would advise to book a table in advance. I like the food - simple, traditional Italian food. That's why I go there! At busy times service is a bit struggling... but as long as they serve good food I'll come back!

I attended this restaurant as part of an event, which means we paid upfront for our meal. So we arrived at 7:30pm were seated by 8pm. We had a young waitress who was super clumsy and was clearly not given any clear instructions on how to serve . We received our anti pasto at 9:30pm at which point we were starving. We were a table of 6 and the starters were only enough for 5 people. The starter was nice, the usual mozarella, mortadella, salami etc.. but i was surprised to see roasted carrots i have never seen this in an any italian restaurant here in the UK or Italy. We then had to wait until 10:30 pm for our dinners they were of a good portion size, good taste and presentation. I had the gnocchi in a tomato sauce .The chairs were soooo uncomfortable especially since we were seated for such a long time :( The cherry on the cake was the panna cotta its was basically butter with chocolate sauce on top... i could have made better at home. We basically left the restaurant at 00:30 that was seriously the most drawn out dinner i have ever had... i will not be back in a rush because of the service. The restaurant is cute and cosy but they need to sort out the service and improve the dessert recipe!

We waited more than 1 hour and half to get a table on thursday night!.The guys at the restaurant looked pretty confused and messed up, finally the seated down in the back terrace, with very little space between a table and the other. We ordered pizza (looked nice), a caprese salad (mozzarella was actually very good for being abroad), a chichen salad (nice but very few chicken slices) and a fritto misto (small as well).Overall food experiense was nice, but overshadowed by the service.
