I was really looking forward to reviewing this place as it looked very good with a nice menu however I cannot as my wife and I left after 15 minutes as all that happened in that time is we were given menus and told what was not available.Two tables that were seated after us received menus, ordered drinks and then ordered their food. We were ignored completely for some reason and so we left and had lunch at Gordon Ramsey’s Burgers in Harrods which is literally across the street.The manager saw us leaving but made no attempt to find out why which made the whole experience even more disappointing.I will never go there again.

This was our first time eating at Zia Teresa and we were not disappointed! The food is so tasty and the staff are friendly. My husband said its the best Pizza he has ever tasted...and hes tasted a lot! My pasta was fabulous! MUST VISIT!

Disgusting restaurant. The food and staff are terrible. Bad pasta which was brought in 2 minutes which shows that they had it there and just reheated it. A dish was terrible and the waiter was arguing that he knew better .

Sempre vou por lá qdo viajo a Londres. Foi onde, indubitavelmente, comi a melhor lagosta da minha já longa vida. Chego a salivar qdo lembro. O único inconveniente é que, como ela vem inteirinha, ela dá muito trabalho mas vale a pena cada esforço feito.

The atmosphere is very inviting, service impeccable, food great. The live piano music was a bit too loud, but other than that perfect.

Just dropped by as we were hungry and found our selves enjoying a very good meal of various pasta dishes. They have a good selection of wines even by the glass. Finished the meal of with a nice dessert and an excellent Italian dessert wine. Left feeling very happy with the experience.

This place is absolutely well known in London also by the people who travel here frequently for business.It is a classic Italian restaurant in London offering high quality "Italian standards", almost like in Italy.Surfing on the menu many many beautiful choice available from the Italian Classic, and any food is outstanding as well presented in the proper way.The place is expensive and maybe this could even increase because the Brexit and the future tax on import goods, but considering you are in a nice place almost in central London, having nice food and perfect service you'll be satisfied anyway.It is the Option for Italian Cuisine in London. The place does not look anything like the photos. Painted all white looks like a clinic no table clothes anymore. Sticky old tables reminds of a school canteen. The old sitting arrangements have been removed now replaced with old looking tables. The food is nothing special with increased prices trying to be a modern restaurant. Would be coming of the list.

Unfortunately this time the food was absolutely disgusting, I live nearby the restaurant and I pop in quiet often to eat it use to be very good, I had not been for a few months, for some reason this time the food was disgusting i cud not evan taste it because as soon as they brought it to the table the smell of it was disgusting, it litteraly stunk.The only thing that was good was the roast potatoes and the wine other then this I cud not take the risk to taste the other dishes as I don’t want to get food poisoning. I would have at least appreciate if some element of customer service acknowledgement was offered in regards to my complaint however this was non existent and when leaving the establishment, was greeted with total disrespect, after paying a fool bill and leaving a tip.

my daughter and I go to london every february for her birthday and we struggle to find a decent italian restaurant but not any more.. this place is amazing.. staff welcome you as soon as you go in the door.. they take your coat and hang it up...place is nice and clean.. food is AMAZING the best carbonara ever and profiteroles sooo nice, they do charge you service charge, but if you do not want to pay it they take it off the bill... i prefer to tip if its been good. toilets were very clean as well.

The food was just average. Nothing really special. The taste of everything served was just “bland” and seemed to lack the creative processes any really good Italian chef would apply. I got the feeling I was in a family owned restaurant that was just going through the motions. This is London, you can do much better!

Had a really good lunch here once again. Visited with a party of 6, which included 2 Italians. Speedy and friendly service and delicious food. Met with approval by our Italian guests.

I adore this place. Every visit is a success. The food is delicious (best carbonara ever) and the atmosphere is gentle and friendly, service very warm. Also, although there are some very costly wines on the (huge) wine list, the cheaper ones are excellent. I recommend the Primitivo. Long may this place continue.

We stumbled upon this place after leaving Harrods where every cafe had a queue, so it was very welcoming. It was about 3 o'clock and without a reservation, we were shown to a table downstairs, right by the entrance to the loo. Seating disappointment aside, the main courses hit the spot and got top marks. The pizza quattro stagioni was excellent, so too the mushroom risotto. The clam linguine would have been great if the chef had eased back on the salt. The desserts, however, were poor, especially he profiteroles which were dry and tasted a day old. The creme caramel was blah. Overall, we came away satisfied.

La cuisine n’est vraiment pas terrible. Pizza margharita carré sans travail de texture. Linguine aux « gambas » mais plutôt grosses crevettes. Très peu de parmesan qu’il faut en plus demander au serveur. Et le service est déroutant. Pas le temps de finir qu’ils enlèvent les assiettes. Pas de sourire et accueil glacial.

Well, located directly opposite Harrods and in the heart of London the location couldn’t be better could it? Couple that with an Italian reception upon entering you might be lead to assume that you’re in for some traditional culinary delights? Well I’m sad to say it falls dreadfully short on all counts. Sure, even if you turn up without a booking (as most probably do) they do a good job of finding you a table, but that’s where the good job ends. The food selection is typically Italian and our group of 5 picked mains from each of the variants. However, none of them satisfied. The risotto was tasteless, just rice with a couple of molluscs thrown in. The pizzas of which there was two ordered were burnt on the base and impossible to cut and even less enjoyable on the palettes. Oh and we didn’t get the soft drinks we ordered either, despite two reminders. One pizza seemed to have been missed initially from the order too. All in all it was a great disappointment. The bill however was large and tips expected, complaints ignored. Try at your own risk but there are far greater choices in the area but as the majority of custom is via tourism I suspect these establishments can afford to have an off day.

The pasta and salad were fine with the location being convenient to Harrods's. Curious to find a charge, as a carbon tax, for disposing of paper and plastic.

Erano diversi anni che non andavo. La qualità è calata tantissimo. Abbiamo ordinato 4 pizze è un piatto di penne al pomodoro. Le pizze erano di pessima qualità e la pasta era preparata con un sugo pronto Barilla. Il personale al contrario era molto ospitale è simpatico. Essendo un ristorante italiano direi che deve migliorare qualcosa a livello culinario dato che i prezzi non sono bassi.

Arrived for our evening meal and was surprised to see the venue very quiet as it is Xmas period.

Been here a few times now and was originally introduced to the place by a friend who originates from Rome and is a regular there. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere really does make this place, they sometimes have a pianist in the corner and it is always busy in there. On our last visit we ordered the burrata, margarita pizza and linguine with clams. All delicious, would recommend!

I had dinner here and I saw a mouse!!! When I complained to the Manager, I was informed this was normal for London. Disgusting!!!!

We met some friends here who were staying at a nearby hotel.

Il locale più kitsch mai visto!!! Terribile!!! Solo un susseguirsi di luoghi comuni ( falsi!!) sull’Italia!! Arredamento tremendo...vecchio...canzoni italiane in sottofondo (tipo Albano, Umberto tozzi ecc!!) e mangiare che nulla a che fare con la cucina italiana!!!

We arrived and were seated and treated very well by our waiter. We had everything from a toast to a bottle of wine to appetizers (taste the beef with truffle) to entrees. After, we toasted with Limoncellos and dessert. Nothing was out of place and we were made to feel welcome with friendly demeanor and excellent food.

N'avons pas dû attendre pour être placés, la serveuse est venue rapidement prendre la commande. Les plats servis n'avaient rien d'extraordinaire. Le serveur nous a mis trop peu de parmesan sur les pâtes et est reparti avec le fromage. Très bruyant.

4 giorni a Londra e avevo voglia di cibo vero. Zia Teresa ha soddisfatto a pieno il mio palato. Mangiato una pasta con le vongole veraci ( la propongono in bianco o rossa) ma su richiesta alla versione in bianco lo chef ha aggiunto dei pomodorini Pachino e l'ha resa veramente ottima. Cottura della pasta perfetta, vongole ottime....insomma mi sono sentita soddisfatta.

Cette pizzeria est très décevante, les pâtes n’ont aucun intérêt, le parmesan est versé sur le plat directement par le serveur puis retiré aussitôt après. Les serveurs sont plutôt polis mais tellement pressés de vous voir partir qu’ils retirent votre assiette à peine votre dernière bouchée engloutie. La profiterole est à fuir : molle, sans glace, nappée de crème au faux chocolat, tellement sucrée qu’elle écœure en deux bouchées.

I have dined in a fair amount of Italian restaurants during my life. I kind of missed the wow-factor here nevertheless the food was good.

Had to quickly shelter from the rain, so literally ran into this place. Not too busy and the pizza and tuna salad were excellent and reasonably priced. The waiter was a little too attentive, but it was his first day.

All the restaurants close to Harrod's are incredibly overpriced. Not this one. The food is "old school", not the fancy Italian haute cuisine of other places. The food is classic, like home cooking. We had pizza and it was OK, nothing fabulous. The linguine al Vongole was better. Wine is reasonably priced, and the place has a nice vibe.

La atencion fue excelente por parte del chico joven, encargado de este restaurante. En todo momento estuvo pendiente de 4 españoles que no conocen bien el ingles y, entre italiano y español, nos entendimos a la perfección. La comida estaba buenisima y aunque los precios son altos, merecio la pena. Recomendable al 100% y, esta junto a Harrods, por lo que si despues de una visita a estos almacenes, deseas comer una buena pasta, ensalada o una pizza, con una cerveza Italiana, este es el lugar.

Cenamos a base de pizzas, sencillas pero muy buenas y preparadas en un gran horno de leña que se observa desde la sala en la que estábamos. El local es muy grande, con dos pisos y bien cuidado. El servicio excelente, con camareros de la familia italiana que lleva el local. Lo único negativo, el precio para el tipo de comida que es...pero bueno, es Londres y, además, está al lado de Harrod's...

A magnificently painted ceiling and cosy restaurant really makes you feel like you're in 19th century Florence. The food is alright, not amazing, but is ok if you're just looking for somewhere new to eat, or stepping away from the excitement of harrods.

Después de tantas visitas durante muchos años, mis dos últimas visitas han sido realmente decepcionantes. He notado que ha habido muchos cambios de personal, antes siempre recibías la más cordial bienvenida, ahora a nadie le molesta si estás allí o no, se han quedado dormidos. hay muchas mesas más allí, no hay espacio para respirar, pero sobre todo, la comida que alguna vez fue realmente increíble, ahora es horrible, de hecho, ¡la peor comida italiana que he probado, calentada en un microondas! la lista de vinos es muy cara, mi Lasaña se quemó y el tiramisú se secó, he visitado este restaurante cientos de veces antes, y siempre tuve una experiencia increíble, después de mi primera decepción, no quería escribir esta mala revista, ya que siempre podemos tener una mala y desafortunada, así que más recientemente hice otra visita, y esta vez fue aún peor, aunque mi amigo dijo que su salmón era excelente, muy decepcionado después de tantos años, debido a su ubicación, seguirá siendo un buen negocio, pero a menos que todo el personal anterior regrese, su antigua reputación ha tenido su día. He sido cliente habitual de Zia Teresa a lo largo de los años, siempre disfruté de llevar a los visitantes allí y me sentí bienvenido cada vez y disfruté mucho la comida.

Excellent restaurant italien face â harrods

Dopo una giornata passata in giro per Londra troviamo per caso questo ristorante proprio di fronte ai magazzini di Harrods...Per nostra fortuna troviamo un tavolo libero...il personale (tutto rigorosamente italiano) è gentilissimo e ci ha messo immediatamente a nostro agio...Piatti di alto livello, servizio da ristorante stellato...Il tutto accompagnato da un pianista che suonava ottima musica...conto in linea con gli standard londinesi...consigliatissimo

Restaurante italiano bem localizado, ao lado da Harrods, ótima comida italiana a preço justo. Mas o melhor é o atendimento, que é o motivo que nos faz voltar sempre q vamos a Londres. O funcionário que faz a diferença é o Daniel, um brasileiro residente em Londres que com toda simpatia e paciência atende aos brasileiros em português. E ele dá ótimas dicas de pratos, sobre a cidade, enfim é uma experiência agradável que sempre fazemos questão de repetir - pela qualidade dos pratos e mais pelo atendimento do Daniel!

The music was very loud and was not lowered despite several polite requests. Prices were very high and the staff could not give a damn whether the customer was happy or not. The food was not bad.

Se avete nostalgia della buona cucina italiana, questa è uno dei posti dove vi consiglio di andare.

Non sono solita ad andare nei ristoranti italiani all’estero, un po’ perché scelgo la cucina del posto e un po’ (tanto) perché spesso e volentieri sono specchietti per le allodole che non c’entrano nulla con la cucina italiana.

Food was great and service was good. We had the scallops and bruschetta as appetizers. Spinach ravioli, spaghetti alla carbonara, linguine alle vongole as entrees and some tiramisu for dessert with coffee. Delicious. There was also a piano player that was very talented and added a great touch to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Eşim ile beraber 1 Mayıs 2019 tarihinde Restaurant un karşısında olan alışveriş merkezine girmeden önce Bu Restaurant un dış masalarından birine oturduk.Gelen garsona sadece bir şeyler içmek istediğimizi söyledikten sonra kendisi sipariş ileri alıp içeri girdi. Daha sonra dışarı gelip İngiliz nezaketiyle(!) yemek yemeyecekseniz kalkın lütfen dediler.Bu arada öğleden sonra gerçekleşen olayda dışarıdaki masalarda bizden başka hiç kimse yoktu. Gönül isterdi ki Restaurant la ilgili yorum yapalım ama maalesef buna imkan tanımadan nazikçe kovulduk.

Really good food and friendly staff. The gnocchi is excellent. We also asked for a garlic bread with melted mozzarella to start and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

My husband and I just returned to our hotel after a casual dinner at Zia Teresa. We had such a nice experience. We just wanted pizza, but with some atmosphere. We ordered the pizza on the special list and a Ceasar salad. We had a lovely Barolo wine by the glass as well. The atmosphere was just what one wanted an Italian restaurant to be. There was an excellent pianist playing, it was lovely....

I was very disappointed at my first time at Zia Teresa. I haven’t seen my friend for a very long time and we decided to go and have dinner at Zia Teresa which she highly recommended. At arrival we were placed at our table and then asked for some drinks straight away, we kindly asked to have some more time to decide and the manager seemed annoyed at our request.

The restaurant is in a great location and you would expect a lovely experience, seen the luxury location in Knightsbridge. This is not the case.

Peroni was big bottles always a plus and the lasagne was spot on. Would come again.good after Being in Harrods all day

We had booked on line and were given a table right by the front door. We accepted it although I was surprised at being given a table with a running drought given we had bothered to book. We were then given the menu and told the Dover sole,the lobster and clams were off! Thus the best dishes were not available.

I came with my son. I ordered a gravlax salad which was 90% salad leaves and tasteless. V expensive for unimaginative food

Très déçue. Les pâtes ne sont pas fraiches et en plus mal cuites. Les serveurs sont beaucoup trop présents cela en devenait oppressant.

Went here after some shopping in Harrods with my Mum, and absolutely loved it. Hands down, the best carbonara I have ever had, and I cannot wait to go back to London to have some more! Excellent, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere 🍝

Arrivati all’improvviso in 11 (6 adulti e 5 bambini). Ottima accoglienza richieste particolari esaudite. Servizio gentile e veloce. Ottime materie prime e cucina italiana che non ti fa certo rimpiangere casa (Londra è cambiata grazie a Dio). Direttore di sala attentissimo nel seguire i clienti. What a lovely little Italian restaurant! The service was amazing. I actually can’t stop thinking about one waiter in particular - he was absolutely gorgeous ! I digress... so errrrr.... the food was delicious! I had the salmon, green beans and roast potatoes. I didn’t want it to end. The wine was extortionate so we only had one bottle between the four of us. I will definitely go back - just hope that waiter will be there when I return

I have just left this restaurant and I am absolutely disgusted. I was here with my mother and we ordered a quick lunch. At the end out bill came to £33.58 - as we had no small money we gave them £53.58 so we would get £20 back.

I visit Zia Teresa every time I visit London. The food is delicious, and it doesn't cost a fortune to eat there. It is located adjacent to Harrods, so convenient to stop in after shopping.

We last ate at this restaurant 12 years ago on a trip to London with our teenage son, the food then was very good as it was when we returned on Friday, again with our son, now 26! It was his treat and he wanted to return, we were not disappointed! It’s not fancy dining just good old fashioned traditional Italian food in pleasant surroundings that haven’t changed for a long time, this is a good thing! The food was fresh tasty and very good, the service was efficient and the staff friendly. Hopefully it won’t be 12 years until we return!

I have been to this restaurant at around 18:00. It was myself and another gentleman, we supposed to have an informal business meeting. Both of us were very well dressed. The restaurant appeared to be half empty. We asked to sit to have a drink and a coffee. The waitress refused to give us a table; he said this is a restaurant not a bar.

Hace ya casi un mes que fui a cenar ahi, y la comida estaba realmente buena, pero nos atendió la manager y ella fue muy grosera con sus compañeros y hasta con nosotros, eso hizo que no pudieramos disfrutar bien la comida.

We came to this restaurant around 7-8pm on a Friday. Not expecting the best food ever but just something where we could chill out and enjoy food, with a few drinks.

Trovare un buon ristorante italiano all'estero è cosa rara e questo è decisamente ottimo. Servizio ineccepibile, cibo ottimo, location accogliente. Prezzi un po' alti ma si sa, siamo a Londra. Ci si sente accolti e coccolati. Si esce soddisfatti. Consigliatissimo!
