Terrible service, got a takeaway on the way back home to Warminster, half way back realised we were missing a drink and one of our starters, no one told us our food was ready even though we said where we were sat down waiting, so the pizza was Luke warm, horrendous service

Great experience, manager/ the person who showed us to our table was very helpful and accommodating. Waiter was friendly and food arrived very quickly and was delicious.

Nothing different here and the standard Pizza Express menu, so you know what you are getting. However both the salad and pizza we ordered were well presented and promptly. The staff were helpful without being overbearing. All together a good experience when you 'need to eat'!

Food was good as always and our waitress was lovely, however the manager was rude. Whilst waiting for our food, a large party turned up who were then seated. The manager informed us that our waitress was serving the big table so if we needed anything, to ask him. had a voucher code that needed to be scanned before printing the bill, so with this in mind, I went in to show someone the QR code before asking for our bill. I found the manager, (who had said to go to him if we needed anything), who looked at me as if he was happy to help - however, when I showed him the voucher, he rudely replied: 'we are serving 30 people right now can you wait'. While I understand that the staff cannot be in two places at once, I don't think it's acceptable to speak to paying customers in that manner. Especially by the manager who is supposed to be setting an example. Not to mention, other than the big table the rest of the restaurant was almost empty, and there were several front of house staff members. I will not be returning to this pizza express.

Came here during the week for a very late lunch. Restaurant was very quiet. Ordered La Reine Pizza, which was very tasty with a fantastic choice of topics. Served very hot which was excellent. Pizza is reasonably filling and very good value for money. The waitress who attended to us was absolutely lovely, very friendly and cheerful and did not make us feel rushed at at all to order. Felt we could take our time being here. Very relaxed atmosphere. We sat in the outside seating of the restaurant, which is very nice, however, this area would be much improved if there was some soft background music playing to give a bit of ambience when the restaurant is quiet.

We went to bornemouth for a few nights , but didn't realise you had to book most restaurants to get a table. We tried various places , then came to this pizza express. We spoke to Damien (think this was his name) who was meeting and greeting and checking bookings. He said he was full , but went to check and after a bit of jiggling managed to fit us in ,2 adults and 2 children . So thank you . We also had good food, the pizza was lovely , kids enjoyed it and friendly staff . So yes worth a visit .

Noisy with poor service, manager charging around doing takeaways, chefs shouting out, no atmosphere whatsoever! Very echoey

Dilia was wonderful she's a asset to your team and wonderfully kind and welcoming. I came on my own and she made me feel very welcome and checked up on me. Manager also gave me a nice welcome thank you to both of you!

we stooped for tea. restaurant sadly empty, bar a few other eaters, like most restaurants at present- i hope they survive.two pizzas and a canneloni. all came very quickly.almost too quickly?? i wonder if mine was 'pinged'? could've been a bit hotter as well. puddings were that of a chain and predictable, but tasty enough. staff were friendly and attentive. nice decor, but lacked atmosphere, but that was because it was empty.

Went here with my friend for some food. Ordered pasta bolognese and garlic bread. The portion was very small half the size of the bowl, the pasta dish tasted unusual and bland and not like a pasta dish and the meat was watery. I also ordered garlic bread which didn’t even taste like garlic bread, dull tasting and no garlic. I’m so unhappy and I complained to the waitress about my meal yet nothing was done and she didn’t really seem to care. Meal was not worth the £26.00 I spent on just myself. The only thing that was worth it was the wine. My friend is also super unhappy because her meal was small and burnt around the edges. She also paid a good amount of money. Will not be visiting again unless manager or someone from the company can resolve this. Also flys flying everywhere around the restaurant very off putting and quite frankly disgusting.

Good social distancing in restaurant. Food was very good. Top marks to service and waitress Delia who was amazing with our granddaughters. Also to host Damien. Had a very pleasant meal.

Went to this PizzaExpress the other night before going to the theatre.The staff and service was excellent and the layout was very roomy and much nicer than some of the older ones.If they have taken your favourite pizza off the menu, they will still make it for you.Like my one is called “FOUR SEASONS” it was as good as ever.

Quite simply, this is my favourite Pizza Express, reinforced even more by a visit last month to one out of the area that was poor in comparison. Why does this Pizza Express work so well? I think it is the layout- it's nicely decorated and inviting, the food is consistently good and the staff are always so nice. Ok, it is just a pizza place- but it's a good one. It offers good value for money, cheerful staff and I've never had bad food from here.When we visited the other day it was quite early, so not busy at that point. We had booked but were early but that wasn't an issue. We used o2 priority codes which make the meal a bargain. We asked about the offer and whether they allowed you to pay extra to upgrade your pizza to Romana's ( as the one we visited out of the area didn't) The guy explained that they do and that some won't as they are all franchised. We had a friendly waitress take our order and drinks arrived quickly, shortly followed by our meals. I had the Padana Romana which is a fave of mine and my husband had a Diavolo Romana. Hubby had asked for half the amount of cheese on his and they got it spot on. Both pizzas were really tasty and we enjoyed them. It was getting busy as we were eating but the staff seemed really attentive to everyone and the place had a nice atmosphere. Perfect to grab a bite before the cinema. With our code, our meals and drinks came to £20- bargain. We'll be back- even without codes, it's a laid back place to eat with lovely staff.

Last monday on 02/09 we had another dinner out at pizza Express, being served by Nicole and I got to say thats she's great. Giving recommendations, always with a smile on her face. Nicole can bring a really nice and positive vibe.

Would not go again. The female member of staff was extremely rude. She even over spoke my 4 year old daughter. I asked for the childs starters and mains to come out together but that never happened. Disgusted

Met at the entrance by a cheerful staff member and asked where we would like to sit.We ordered drinks and Pizzas,drinks were brought quickly and the pizzas in an appropriate time.The food and drinks were very good .Altogether a pleasant experiance. The staff make it better -cheerful,very busy but still find time to pass the time of day.THANKYOU.

Monday night 05/08, I went for the first time with my fiance to Pizza Express. I couldn’t be more pleased of the fact that I decided to be there. Food and kitchen are amazing and also quick service. Prices acceptable and great atmosphere. I do appreciate to Samson and Dilia for getting us so well and welcome. You guys make the difference, we laugh so much. I never felt so comfortable before in a restaurant like in here. We will come back.

Visited this branch before attending a concert, the menu is the same as every other PE but I have to compliment the service received. The place was fairly busy but the servers were extremely friendly, very attentive and seemed genuinely concerned that our dining was up to standard. There is a difference between good service that is 'forced' and good service that is real.

We often eat at Pizza Express restaurants and are happy with the food. This Pizza Express though we felt had the best food - very tasty, good quality and well presented. Well done to the pizza and pasta makers :-))

I visited this branch of Pizza Express on a (surprisingly quiet) Saturday evening considering how busy the BH2 complex was. The restaurant looks very clean and has a good atmosphere. We were seated quickly but unfortunately the service went downhill from here.

Lunchtime visit. Couple of tables in. Waitress was lovely and helpful, food was tasty and filled us up. Only negative was manageress scolding a chef unnecessarily loudly for something minor so we could hear it

We had an absolutely lovely meal this evening. We only ordered pizza as we had quite a large lunch but we ended up ordering sweets too. They were out of one of our chosen desserts but our lovely waitress swapped it for another which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wrong order arrived (let's be honest it's not rocket science to get a pizza order correct), second attempt was an undercooked soggy pizza with an egg dumped on top. It was one of those ocassions where you think i should cut my losses and head elsewhere but we perserved in vein. Pleasant staff, but get the basic food product right is a must. Bill was discounted when i made my comments known, but i would much rather have paid for a decent product that hasnt chaged in 30 years. Personally we will never go back to this particular restaurant.

I love the pizzas here. Had padana, really good. Fig with mascarpone and coffee, lovely.

Had a lovely meal here but it was very busy and we had to wait some time from when we placed our order to when we actually received it. The waiting staff were run off their feet.

Booked our table on line.This our 2nd visit last was @ Airshow. This time the manager Dila so welcoming as all the staff. Very quick service, smiles and checked frequently asking if we required anything. The Roma Padana was massive, lasagne delicious, bottle of wine reasonable price. Very handy for the BIC, park in the BIC park suggest prepay walk over to the Hermitage Hotel and the restaurant is in the shopping centre overlooking the park

Our work place went for our Christmas meal this year here. The food despite not being my thing was over all quite good, however myself and others were very disappointed that we could not obtain any mayo of a y description. That may seem petty but if you want a condiment then you should be able to get a simple thing like mayo. If I ever come again I will be equipped with my helmans!

We have been to pizza express countless times but this visit was extra special as we tried the new mushroom and pine nut vegan pizza which we were impressed was being advertised on the board outside the restaurant. We had had a bad experience with a different restaurant earlier that day while visiting Bournemouth and were relieved to have great service and delicious food here to make our last evening here a positive one. We ordered the jackfruit pizza too and had half each - a very good idea! So grateful and happy that a chain restaurant provides us vegans with such delicious food!!

Visited here last Sunday early evening (first weekend of Christmas Tree festival & 2 performance show of Supervet at the BIC) so as you can imagine the whole of the BH2 complex was packed.

Pizza Express is Pizza Express, it isn’t going to blow your socks off, but it is in my eyes a solid, reliable chain. Went here recently as part of a large group and for the most part the size of the party did not faze them. Admittedly the starters came out in dribs and drabs but all of the mains were pretty much served together. Drinks service was also a bit patchy, with orders getting forgotten.

Below average food in a beautiful location. The BH2 is a lovely area. The food here was average at best. My kids love the dough balls. Pizza is below average. I had a salad and it was awful. Barely edible. Service was extraordinary so I feel bad for leaving a poor review on the food. Our servers were exceptional.

Have just come down from uni and visited with my friends. Was served by a lovely lady called Dila, she was so friendly and very helpful the whole evening and my Padana was lovely too.

Amongst all the Italian restaurant chains, I’ve always found Pizza Express the most reliable.

Have eaten at various Pizza Expess's before but this one was disappointing. Seated very quickly and order was taken. Drinks came but the server brought the wrong one for one of us.

My friend and I had lunch at this branch of Pizza Express today as we have always enjoyed eating at the restaurant chain. On this occasion, whilst the food was excellent, the service was appalling. There was only one other table occupied so the staff were hardly rushed off their feet. We stood and waited and waited and waited for someone to appear & show us to a table, eventually the chef took pity on us & seated us. I had to fetch the menus myself. After some considerable time a waiter sauntered over & took our order. The staff seemed to have friends visiting (not eating) who were far more important than the - very few - customers. That level of service continued throughout the meal, I have never experienced anything like it at any other branch of Pizza Express but if this is the norm at BH2 its no wonder they were almost deserted.

We arrived on the Friday of the Bournemouth Air Show 31.1.18 at 6.30pm. The manager greeted us with a smile, we said table for 5? he said 'have u booked' we said 'no'. Within 2 minutes we were sat down. NOCOLE was our waitress, brilliant, kind, friendly, smiley, quick, good with the children. Childrens menu perfect, Pizzas delicious. Quick service because we needed to go to the evening fireworks. Clean loos, the only thing acoustics not good but hey we were there for a short time, will go again, thanks NICOLE & the manager on the day

Pizza express is always reliable in terms of the food quality and staff. This one is brand new in the new cinema complex. It's nice and big, so plenty of space. The staff were excellent (and funny) and it was a really nice meal.

Dila was our waitress. She was charming and helpful. Much improved gluten free choices. Pizza was yummy

Took my little brother for a late lunch here yesterday, we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very smiley and chatty. Felt very welcome in the restaurant thanks to her as she was very engaging and easy to talk to.

I probably dined in more than 20 different branches of this chain and I was always satisfied with the service and quality of the food. Only downside is when they are busy pizza arrives little late but in general it is a good place to eat

We had booked to have Dinner at Post Office Road, but noticed on Trip Advisor that this branch had better reviews. Service was excellent and Nicole?, plus both male servers were extremely friendly, helpful and great with the kids. The waitress was really helpful regarding making alterations to a pizza for our teenage daughter and the food came very promptly. Kids menu as always was great for our little boy - it's lovely they offer a starter for them so they can join in a full meal. We had a fantastic sharing Antipasto, plus Calamari for our daughter and swapped the sauce at her request. All our Pizzas were really tasty. They even brought over a brownie with a candle in for my husband's birthday. Great food and a bargain with Tesco Clubcard picking up the majority of the bill.

As usual all fresh ingredients - current chef does pizza to perfection. As usual no problem as a solo traveller

We visited after watching a film and had a superb meal in a modern and friendly environment. It is the first time I have eaten at pizza express and I was very impressed.

Had a lovely meal made even better by the great staff. Been to many others in this chain but can honestly say this is the best.

Booked in advance for this restaurant in the new BH2 complex for a meal before going to an event at the BIC. We received a friendly welcome and were quickly seated. Lots of choice on the menus but we were given time to choose whilst drinks were brought to us. Really great food, piping hot and delicious. Desserts were also very good. Nice clean restaurant and easily accessible toilets. We had to wait a while for a couple of things as staff were busy but we would be quite happy to eat here again when we are next in Bournemouth.

Great food, both me and my friend had margaritas with dough balls on the set menu. Lovely Italian lady served us and was really helpful and overall great service.

Visited at a somewhat quiet time, using the o2 priority app discount. The waitress who served us was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Both me and my friend had pizza which we both enjoyed, and we had calamari to share. Will definitely be returning, and compared to my experience of staff at other restaurants in BH2, the waitress was far above the others.

My boyfriend and I visited here on a busy Saturday night before going to see a show at the BIC. We were running late because we’d struggled to park but managed to find a table at Pizza Express in the BH2 complex. The staff here were amazing, all were extremely helpful and friendly. The absolute shining star of the restaurant was our waitress Nicole. She was literally running from our table to the kitchen to make sure we got our food quickly so we wouldn’t be late to the BIC. As well as this she was attentive to all her other tables at the same time and nothing was too much to ask.

Quiet night but good attentive service. No issues with making things no longer on the menu. One main came out wrong but could not have been dealt with better by the waitress and resolved easily within 5 minutes with no hassle. Would definitely recommend

This is a new pizza express in the newly built BH2 region in the town.Its as good as any other one we've been in, We also had a £10 Tesco voucher to use from our club card point so the 2 pizzas and 2 soft drinks cost around £16. Good value and polite staff, worth a visit,

Booked a table for eight in the restaurant in the new complex. Although not full, found the acoustics bad which made conversation difficult. Ordered a Romana gluten free as at another restaurant this had been thin, crispy with a good amount of topping. Regrettably last night's pizza was barely cooked with just a smear of topping. Not worth complaining about as wanted to leave asap due to headache. Unable to get WiFi connection.

We had excellent pizzas at Pizza express in Christchurch so thought we would go Exeter Crescent branch after the pantomine. Service was slow - pizzas did not arrive for half an hour and when they did they were soggy and a little lacking in topping. Refused to pay service charge.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Pizza Express on our last visit. Dilia was our waitress and she made the visit even more special. She was kind and attentive to my little girl. The food was delicious. Keep the good work.

I came down from Bristol to enjoy a nice Christmas Eve dinner with my family at pizza express as we love it back home, I was, however, surprised at how kind, friendly and cheerful the waitress was, her name was Dilia I believe and she made the whole experience dining there, even more of a delight, it was enjoyed by everyone even more than the pizza express back home! Brilliant, definitely found our new place to eat every time we come down

I have to say they do the best pizzas. Although they were obviously slammed and I had to wait a little for my pizza, the staff were friendly and my pizza was perfect. I have eaten here before and never been disappointed. In not sure of my waitress's name but she was brilliant and the manager wasn't afraid to work, which nice to see. Thank you x

We had planned a family day to go this pizza express after the cinema as a special treat.

Being a chain restaurant, I was hoping for an ok meal. However, the team here really do deserve a huge amount of recognition for making it a wonderful evening out. They found a comfortable space for us that was suitable for a restess toddler, were attentive and went above and beyond. When they saw how much my 3 yr old was enjoying his olives (and polishing off everyone else's!), they took his pizza away and topped it up with more olives. He was so happy and relaxed there which made it all the more enjoyable for us. On top of that, the vegan options and staff knowledge were spot on. Makes such a difference to have a meal I can enjoy and not just opt for chips and salad.

Went here with Kylie and the kids. Parking was expensive but I can't blame PE for that. Amazing fun overall. Met by a bubbly Aussie girl who made us all smile. Food was really good. Pizza was excellent. Calamari was spot-on. The staff give this place a real vibe. We'll be back but without the kids.

Let me start by saying that this was our first visit to this PE restaurant - I never knew this one even existed and only found it by chance.

I went to beach holidays with family and on last day we all was hungry and wanted to have pizza so we decided to go to this restaurant and and we got excellent service and pizza was fresh and yummy as we have 2 discount vouchers and the manger and staff was happy to accept them I diffidently recommend this pizza express beach

Went twice to this branch this week, both times the good was excellent and the service good too. One mistake with mains on one visit which was rectified and compensated for. The kids packs are very good - they come with chefs hats and stickers - my kids wore the hats all through themeal. Both meals were eaten during early evening and the restaurant was fairly quiet but it still felt like a warmer atmosphere than I've found in some other pizza express branches.

Went here with a group of friends. Got served by the half Italian/half Greek waitress - top marks for service and fun! Her friendly approach and helpfulness made the meal here more enjoyable. Restaurant staff could learn a lot from her! Apologies but don't remember her name! Pizza here was lush as always and good value for money. Only drawback is the parking is expensive in this shopping centre.

Visited for a quick lunch during my break at work. Was welcomed by the door and told I could sit wherever I wanted (unusual for restaurants but a good way to please a customer!). Was worried the food would take long as I only had an hour but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 10 min of order. My waitress was lovely and came for a quick chat which I really enjoyed. I asked her for food recommendation and she was very helpful - informed me the pizza I was considering was very spicy. Upon politely asking her if the chefs would be able to remove the spice she assured me it was not a problem and did not hear the chefs complain either (I was sat very close to the kitchen). The pizza was a very large size for a main for one so i'd say the value for money was also good. Ate a 3/4 before being full and the waitress said not to worry and brought me a takeaway box to bring the leftovers home with me - minimising waste which I loved! When I finished I went thank the chef for taking the spice out ; he was very kind and explained how he made It to suite my taste and make it sweet. Overall, the food was great but does not beat the excellent customer service!

Went here on a Thursday night with family used a set menu code here good choice for set menu . Food was really nice and it was busy but didn't wait long for food to arrive, waitress was really nice, attentive and friendly she finished her shift while we were there and came over to say goodbye, didn't get her name unfortunately. Gentleman who took our bill was also friendly. Good atmosphere and clean and tidy, definitely recommend and I will be going back

I went here becuse I had a Clubcard voucher to spend. This Pizza Express was newly opened so I thought I would try it. I walked in ewithout a booking and was given a choice of table, so I set outside overlooking the Mall. The waitresses and waiter that served me were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This turned my solo visit into a very pleasant experience.

Amazing food, Friendly staff. Very happy! You can just FEEL the positive atmosphere in this restaurant. The staff are clearly happy in their jobs and it creates a fun and relaxed environment. Would love to come back.
