Vine aquí por primera vez según mi recomendación primos y yo no me puedo quejar. Es un lugar con una decoración preciosa (es como que estás en Italia) me pidió el encendedor versión del pizza vegetariana, que viene con la ensalada y fue absolutamente deliciosa y muy auténtico. Todas las pizzas son artesanales y la calidad sin duda brilla a través. El personal es muy amable (de buen aspecto, también). Sin duda volveré aquí para experimentar el sabor de Italia.

Hassle. Felt they wanted to serve us as quickly as possible to free up the table. Ordered one Carbonara and one Arribiatta pasta. We left both as cold and tasteless. Not an enjoyable experience as staff were not interested as to why our plates were hardly touched. Not cheap.

Buscamos en varios lugares en el barrio italiano antes de colocarnos en hechos en Italia y fue una buena elección. El personal era muy amable, especialmente Luigi que también nos ayudó a la orden. Tienen muy buenas pizzas estándar y también muy agradable casa tagliatelle con salchichas pasta casera italiana. También probamos los Gnocchi y queso burrata durante un segundo, que también estaba muy bien. El personal incluso nos ofreció después de la cena chupitos gratis limoncello 2 porque el tiempo nos reconoce. Recomendaría este lugar acogedor con un personal amable para una cena agradable. Intenta conseguir una mesa cerca de la ventana, si es una cena de parejas.

We picked this restaurant in James street because this area is full of nice restaurants. We ordered quickly but the food was so long for 1 pizza and 2 pasta plates. I had my pasta a la carbonara first which was not at all carbonara, completely dry and the bacon full of bones, my dad ate my dish. The second dish arrived (risotto with prawns and lobster) after we finished the first one. The risotto was just simple rice with some seafood and then the pizza never arrived. I told the waiter that we were still waiting for the pizza and he was chocked that we didn’t get it. He knew it because HE took the order and never came to us to ask if everything was okay. We finally asked for the bill 5min later which was counted with the pizza we never had, and some dishes we didn’t ordered, so I told the waiter again that we never got the pizza and he was still ckocked.

I never write reviews but today I decided I had to from my husband's trip advisor account as the experience was terrible. We had booked a table for 5 for a christmas party. When we arrived we were told our table was upstairs but to our disappointment we were on an empty floor which was freezing cold. we asked to be moved and were told that if a table becomes available they would move us - but no one came to speak to us to apologise and say that there isn't a table available. Given i had booked a table in advance i was expecting to be seating at a good table. The waiter also said he knew it was cold when I told him - I'm not sure why they would seat anyone on that floor if it was cold!

I have already been to two other Made in Italy in London (King’s Road and Notting Hill). This one is definitely along the line. Relaxed atmosphere, simple but ample choice of typical Italian dishes. The pizzas are a definite staple dish. Choice of regular mozzarella or Buffala mozzarella or even, mozzarella crust.

Had lunch here, We had a pizza and it was great. Lovely place, staff was great. Highly recommend it :)

One of the great sounding names of Italian pizza in London, in its Marilebone branch. Still the reliable quality and the friendly service. You basically can't go wrong but given that we are not in Italy I would recommend the basic Margherita for maximum enjoyment.

Guys I'm always coming here for eat and every time is always better than the previous one! The staff is always polite and attentive specially the sexy guy called Giorgio! Every time that I came I always try something different like pasta pizza salad or a mix of starters and all of them are so nice!! The prices are really good. I suggest to everyone to go to this restaurant!

The food in Made in Italy is outstanding, probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff is also lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back soon.

We have a nightmare experience with this restaurant. We were given the menus and the waiter came to take the order. We gave him our choice according to the menu. He brought the starters and drinks. later, he brought the main course dishes which were pasta and a one meter long pizza. which we didn't ask for. We felt it was a way of manipulating with the order since the area was crowded with tourists and visitors. I found out they wanted to charge us 45 pounds only for the pizza. We started arguing and investigating the bill. We finally end up with a bill of 41 pounds for the whole food. I warn everyone to be very careful while visiting this restaurant.

We found this restaurant by strolling through the streets of London on one of those extended dates...The food was amazing. We have started with some meatballs and aubergine parmigiana, before going for some mains. I would wholeheartedly recommend the aubergine starter - it was amazing! The waiters were lovely and able to provide a very good wine recommendation. The whole set up is quite quirky and romantic. It gets a bit busy in the evening, especially on Saturdays (that's when we came!), but it's still not much of an issue as it doesn't disturb your conversation. If we are ever in the area again, we shall return :)

Well - always looked at this and thought how cute and decided to try it last night. First things first - up four flights to loos and bit of a horrid experience. When I told the waiters they argued with me.....oh dear! Food distinctly average - over cooked salmon with limp leaves to garnish, sour spinach, poor courgette fretting etc etc. Prices high for the quality - felt like a real tourist trap! However - pizza looked very good. Will not re-visit!

The restaurant has its own style and interesting design: natural wood tables, enough space for comfortable seating.Service was good.We ordered food from 3 different sections of the menu: pizza, fish, and chicken.Pizza had an odd shape. It reminded me of lavash bread with melted cheese. Cheese did not stick to the pizza at all and ran out of it.Salmon was presented as steak, but did not have any indication of being grilled.Chicken did not have any salt or any spices. Very plain food. Not even close to Italian food.

Although the staff was super friendly, smiley and very helpful and the pizza tasted really nice with fresh ingredients, the small portions, especially the calamari (7 extra small pieces with a touch of mayo!) leave no choice than to be disappointed...

Suday, lunch time, amazing weather and terribly missing Italy.....stepped in this restaurant by accident and been welcomed by the genuine smile of Giorgio, the manager. His "Buongiorno" makes me feel home in seconds!!! The restaurant is busy, but the staff is relaxed, friendly and smiling, you can see them entertaining their customers, helping them with the menu, making sure they are enjoying their food, making them laugh. My Parmigiana is delicious, the tomato sauce is balanced and the mozzarella is to die for!!! The pizza looks great so I decide to have one... simply out of this world! I have no words to describe the tiramisù, I just loved it!! I leave the restaurant looking forward to come back with my friends!! Thank you guys: you made my day!!

We met my friend and her daughter at Selfridges. The daughter suggested a simple but charming Italian restaurant right around the corner near Bond St station. We were each with our daughters celebrating a mother – daughter weekend and started the evening by order the Brits favorite champagne, Prosecco. We live in France where champagne is king but “when in Rome”. The tone was set. The pizzas looked great and were delicious. They’re big and served on a wooden slab elevated above the center of the table. We ordered a pizza for two (for four of us) and the special risotto for the fifth diner. Pizza with arugula, parma ham and shaved parmesan cheese was excellent. For dessert, our friends ordered something with nutella- all I can say, is there was not a trace left. Nice serving staff, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go again.

Vi fikk servert to store porsjoner med en knallgod pasta. Betjeningen var hyggelig og imøtekommende, og restauranten var svært koselig med et rustikk preg. Tilnærmet norske priser (på det vi bestilte i alle fall).

Give the pasta/gnocci a miss and go straight for the pizza! I could not believe that I would have found pizza so good outside of Italy, in fact its better than some of the pizza I have had in Italy!Service isn't that efficient but is very friendly. I'll be going back soon

We were seduced by the nice smell in front of the restaurant,- dish of the day was a truffle risotto and it smelled delicious!The restaurant is cozy and was well visited. The guest and the music made the place a little noisy but OK if you don't have to discuss important business. The staff was very friendly, affable, and Italian speaking what is always a good sign for delicious Italian food. the food was delicious and I can recommend this place for an informal good dinner.

Small Italian bistro, first visit. Decor is obviously faux but is charming anyway. Ordered 3 pizzas and got the unexpected mega pizza pictured. Good fun. Shared a 'Ferrero Roche" cheesecake. Staff friendly. £22 each including coke and two small beers.Will be going again

Me and my cousin were in the area of Christopher Place thinking what to have. After seeing menu outside we decided to give it a try. Staff was helpful and attentive. We ordered house carafe of white and ordered some bread. As any Italian place bread  was good and we got olive oil and balsamic vinegar as standard. We did not feel too hungry so didn't order starter, now i regret it. For mains we ordered tagliatelle bolognese and truffle mushroom parpadelle.We were nice surprised by quality of food. Pasta was tastyamd flavours were just right. After mains my cousin chosed dessert choccolate suffle and I had grappa.We ended up sharing a dessert because it was dellicious gooey in the middle and with decent ice-cream.Highly recomend. Romantic atmosphere for couple.

I go there quiet often with colleagues and I always enjoy the quality of the pizzas. The service is friendly. It is a small place which serve good value for money pizzas. Don't ask more but it is already a lot.

We were after gluten free pizza and entered this restaurant due to the sign at their front door proclaiming that they had gluten free pizza. On making our order and requesting that it be gluten free, the waitress abruptly told us there was no gluten free pizza and angrily crossed our order off her pad. Even after we mentioned the sign at the front of the restaurant (pictured), she stated that the sign was for gluten free pasta only (which is obviously incorrect). Highly disappointing experience. Ps avoid their coffee, and be prepared for a 10 minute wait for the bill.Mushroom risotto was good, at least.

I used to go to Made in Italy quite often. I loved the quiet atmosphere, the Italian music, the fantastic greeting from the former manager, Dario. The pizza was always great and the staff very attentive. I've been there a couple of times in August and September and I found the place turned into the usual tourists trap: crowded, messy, with poor and rushed service. Pizzas are still quite ok, but not really the same. The quality if the 'nduja they put on pizzas is absolutely random and varies from extremely spicy to not very spicy, so there's not a standard you can expect. The last time we had to wait for our tablw for at least 15/20 minutes, despite having placed a reservation in advance. The waitress showed off she didn't need to write down the order despite it was 7 of us), so she made a bit of a mess with the drinks. The music, same as the previous visit in August, was tucky and so loud it was impossible to have a conversation.The overall experience was exhausting and frustrating, very far from the chilled out pizza night we used to have when Dario was still managing the place. I wouldn't recommend Made in Italy to anyone, at least not now with its new "loud club vibe". From now on we'll go to Sacro Cuore.

Es un restaurante pequeño y sencillo pero muy acogedor. El camarero es encantador y muy alegre, al igual que la otra chica que nos atendió.Se cena en un ambiente relajado ya que las luces están apagadas y la única luz que llega es del exterior y de unas velas que decoran las mesas. Las paredes están decoradas con carteles en italiano y la música que suena es también de allí.Pedimos dos pizzas para dos (aunque con una podría haber sido suficiente) y bebimos cerveza Moratta, típica italiana, que también estaba muy buena.Pagamos poco mas de 30 libras ya que, como en Italia, nos cobraron £3.50 por el servicio.

Siamo stati a cena una sera con amici italiani, premetto che non amo mangiare nei ristoranti italiani all'estero perché in genere si mangia una scimmiottatura della nostra cucina, ma qui non è stato cosi, eravamo in circa 20 e siamo stai benissimo, ottima la pizza al metro, molto digeribile e ingredienti di prima qualità. Cortesissimi i gestori :-)

Cosy Italian style restaurant although music wasn't Italian. Lovely choices of Italian wines and reasonable. The pizza and salad were tasty but 2 of us had spaghetti carbonara and it arrived cold and quite dry. As we both felt the same we sent it back and the manager was very apologetic and made us fresh ones. These were better but we still both felt it could have had more sauce. The staff were very apologetic and then brought us the home baked cheesecake and ice cream complimentary which was lovely and a nice touch. Prices are reasonable and it's got a nice atmosphere. Toilets are 2 floors up and it's freezing going up the stairs. Pizzas seem to be more the specialty though so maybe safer vet.

Il locale di per se non è nulla di speciale, ma la pizza al metro è davvero ottima, dalla passata alla mozzarella fatta da loro. e finalmente un salamino buono e non quelle porcherie di chorizo che si trovano qui! Tornerò di sicuro

We love going to small places in st christopher´s place. All other places were full so we chose this one, the place was empty and I have no clue why. We had the most wonderful food. As a starter we got a dish with ricotta and burrata and some hams, it was so delicious and fresh. Then we got a pizza it was also very good. All of the four pizzas were served as one and it was a very nice experience and I have never seen it before. The service was quick and nice. My only problem was with the music, it was to loud and very boring, italian pop music. I had to ask them to lower it a few time, which they happily did but somehow it was always tuned back up.

The waiter took my empty beer bottle and asked me if I'd like another, I clearly said "no thank you". A minute later he whisked my glass off the table and went to fill it with a new bottle. I stopped him and said "I_don't_want_another_beer", he said "oh sorry sir" and left it on the table. Next time he was passing and told him "I don't want the beer". He gazed into the distance, smirked to himself, took it away, popped the cap back on and put it back in the fridge. I've had waiters push drinks on me before but this takes it to another level. Interestingly, when I first entered the restaurant before we spoke, he flagged up on my radar - he was dripping in arrogance through his animated body language.The pizza was satisfactory but £16.42 for a pizza, beer and service in an average restaurant didn't offer good value.

We had a lovely dinner at this place, a great location in Marylebone. The food was excellent, we took antipastis (cheese mostly) and pastas with red wine. Everything was great. The waiters are lovely. It was just a bit too long before we were served, especially for the drinks because it makes us wait usually ;) but the waiter apologized for that, and we know that it happens sometimes!

Exactly as I would expect of a family business.. Pizza was superb.We are in London for just two days. Husband found reviews for this place, can't understand why some weren't great. But hey... Very busy, the staff weren't able to spend time fawning over us, but who wants that anyway!Really great pizza.... What more is there to say!We will be back!!!!!

Great selection on menu though best are the homemade flat pizzas, wine selection could have been better but Venician grape Prosecco was totally spot on, thoroughly enjoyed friendly service, only uneasy part in the evening was unpleasant smell from Gutter in front.

We had booked a table here for 6 of us, and even though 2 of our party were 30 minutes late!!!!! The guys at the restaurant were so accommodating and cheerful. The place was very busy for a Monday night and we were looked after well. Food is really tasty, very authentic, 4 of the party are ItalianAnyway it's very good food, wood fired pizza oven, with specialist meter long pizza even, so yes, good food and reasonably priced

A friend and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch and this restaurant seemed really welcoming. Our young and enthusiastic waiter was most attentive. We both ordered pizza. I had a Romana, he had a salimo. They were co-joint and brought on a wooden plank which was rested on a stand. They were really delicious, the stone baked pizza bread was crisp and flavoursome. Excellent. We sat at a table on the pavement watching local business people rushing around in their lunch hour. I will definitely be returning!

Food was very tasty and fresh. We were served quick and the waitress brought out our drinks in good time, same with food.Perhaps if there were more people in the restaurant they would have struggled, they had 4tables to serve and yet looked over worked.Friendly place none the less.They do have a downstairs and upstairs area, so if you want it for a party im sure the upstaira can be booked for private functions, it seems it has a separate entrance for it.

Had booked a table and got to choose it when we arrived early. Service amazing - left to our own devices with a drink and a sharing board until we were ready to order. Great atmosphere and wonderful authentic Italian food, complete with an Aperol Spritz. Love, love, love it here. Lots of amazing cars to watch driving by too !!

we were looking for lunch on a Sunday and thought we would try it as it is slightly cheaper than the other Italian restaurant a few doors down James Street. Service was friendly, we did not wait long for the food, though long enough to know it was freshly cooked. They make their own cheese (burrata?). My daughter opted for the risotto of the day, which was mushroom, but we had pizzas which looked and tasted home made . My husband had a stuffed crust, and i had the thin crust . I was surprised there were no olives on any of the pizzas, but both were delicious, We were tempted by the desserts and had a pannacotta, a tiramisu and ice cream ( mandarin and vanilla sccops). Price was reasonable too.

I am not one to go for Italian food in London, however if you'd ask me this is actually a place that I would reccomend with all my heart. I have been there in several occasions, mostly with Italian friends when we wanted to treat ourselves with some proper italian food. The service was good, staff always friendly and attentive. However, the last time I visited Made in Italy they exceeded every expectation. I went there with my family and my grandparents who after few days in London needed some familiar flavours. They accomodated us last minute (and it was 8 of us) on a Friday night, in a table in the room upstairs so that we could have more space. Even if it was very busy downstairs, most of the staff members kept checking if everything was okay. Filling up the glasses, making sure we had bread on the table (a true rarity in London) and even asking us for song requests. There is nothing I honestly wouldn't reccomend from that menu but you must try their home-made ricotta cheese with truffle, to die for, and their pizza with home-made burrata.At the end of the night we were all singing and joking with other tables (we must ahve looked very folkloristic to our english neighbours) in a proper Italian style. They made my family feel so welcome that they made me book the same table at the same time for the following night. What can I say...Thank you Made In Italy! :)

I went with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. The staff were immediately friendly, helpful and accomodating - i.e. were more than happy to bring out our cake at the end. They were enthusiastic, too - which helped make our evening more fun. The food was very good (and reasonably priced!). This restaurant is ideal for groups.

Had dinner here one night recently and the two people who looked after us was just magic .. young man downstairs was impressive but the young lady upstairs was brilliant and joked with us and some of the Italian diners all night .. food was really good and authentic .. superb value and the outside decor would not give the impression of the jewel inside ..

I went with a friend a couple of times and I have to say that the pizzas are delicious. We also ordered dome antipasto and they were amazing. They do their own cheese which is spectacular.We ordered three antipasto, two pizzas, a glass of wine and a coke and the bill was 44£. Fair enough for the whole food!!!I'll go back soon

It recreates the "aura" of Italian pizza places, without being neither pretentious nor cheap looking. They usually play nostalgic Italian music, from the '60s to the '90s. If you are from Italy, you will really feel like at home! I tend to meet my colleagues on Fridays after work. We are three Italians and we think that a nice pizza is the perfect treat to end the tough week and get the weekend on mode on! :)The staff is very friendly and pretty much fun, the pizza lovely, made with genuine and fresh ingredients and reasonably priced.I would absolutely advise giving the pizza burrata and 'nduja a try! :) It's amazing.We also had coffee, limoncello and tiramisu. Everything is worth a try!We'll be back soon!!! :)

well made Italian food, friendly efficient staff and reasonably priced. I proper pizza oven at the back that cooks a pizza in one minute flat.I will be going back again...

We stopped here for lunch out our teens' request. We were wary because it was EMPTY. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. We had garlic bread with cheese - which was basically pizza dough with butter, garlic and cheese. It was delicious! We also had pizzas, calzones and salads that were very good. The staff was very attentive. And by the time we left, the restaurant was crowded. It was a nice break from shopping on Oxford Street.

Simple, unpretentious, wholesome, delicious. Waiter very helpful & friendly. We will definitely eat here again.

We just found an authentic Italian in london which is very rare!! , we walked into James street after whole afternnoon shopping last sunday, fancying something to eat , so many choices but just right at end of it we noticed a really cosy restaurant , we didn't expect but we been greeted really warmly I supposed as Italian do, however we had the best pizza ever since we living in London we couldn't believe it , also the manager he was recommending us the pizza with burata cheese telling that they produce their own cheeses which is amazing , never seen a restaurant produce cheeses , anyway You got to visit them you won't regret.

Group of 6 guests at 2pm on a Sunday. 35 minute wait for the drinks order to arrive.The wrong drinks arrived. There was floating items in the water.The coffee mugs were filthy. My coffee was cold and I was offered to have it microwaved or changed for an alternative drink as the restaurant had run out of milk. The alternative drink I received was incorrect and not what I asked for. All the ice had melted in the glasses before it got to us. 2 portions of fries that were supposed to accompany mains arrived 10 minutes later and were left to go cold. After 1 hour it was obvious that they had not even started to prepare the rest of the food, nobody had informed us about any problems or even checked on us. When we got the manager to come over he was barely apologetic and more concerned about justifying the wait by telling us that 2 of his staff had phoned in sick. That is not my problem! The restaurant should not have seated us if they could not cope with the table. We paid him for the drinks and promptly left without any food! Useless waitress. Useless manager. Wasted over an hour of our lives and cost us £15 for the drinks. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

平日17時半頃に予約なしで行きました。まだ席はガラガラで端の席に案内してもらいましたが、30分もしない内にほぼほぼ埋まるほどの人気ぶりでした。真ん中の席は落ち着かなそうだし、18時以降に行く場合は予約が必要かな。

The food tasted like authentic Italian and better than some restaurants we ate in Italy, which we visited many times. It was also nicely presented.There was a variety of food on the menu with portions being generous and prices lower than you would expect considering the location. The interior was rustic Italian with space well used also several tables outside when weather allows. The manager was very friendly and so was the rest of the staff. Highly recommended for those who want proper Italian.

My husband and I were craving pizza one night, and the place where we planned to eat had closed. We knew James street had many restaurants, so we headed over there. We chose Made in Italy for its rustic ambiance, and weren't disappointed. We were seated at a table for two on the main level next to the kitchen and pizza oven. Space is at a premium here, but we were told there is more seating upstairs. We liked our table and enjoyed being able to watch the cook and the passers-by outside. Our Italian waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered two pizzas and a half liter of wine. The pizza was delicious and the wine was smooth. I gave it four stars because I prefer a firmer pizza crust (had to use a knife and fork - it was too flimsy to eat it "American style"), and it ended up costing about $50. A bit pricey for me. However, I would return if ever back in the area.

Un petit restau qui joue la carte de l'authenticité dans le decorum, mais ca s'arrete la. Le service est tres long et brouillon, beaucoup d'erreur dans les commande et surtout des plats qui n'arrive pas en meme temps. Coté plat justement, et ben c'est du classique de la restauration d'aujoiurdhui, c'est industriel, les pate seche du supermarché quon fait cuire et on y fous une boite de conserve de.sauce toute prete. Les pizza sont immondes. Les prix sont a l'image de l'Angleterre: surévalués.
