We were a party of 8 celebrating an Engagement & 30th Birthday and were welcomed by friendly helpful staff. The drinks were reasonable, the food was good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a lovely evening and will definitely go back again.

We ordered from Red Rum Cafe and had our lunch delivered through Just Eat. It was made and arrived earlier then the estimate window. A treat to get lunch delivered as not many companies deliver in this area so we were happy. The food arrived warm, generous, fresh and very tasty. We would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again in the future! Thank you very much for the lovely lunch! Thank you!!

Went to Franco’s tonight as long time regular, the service was as splendid as ever, however I did feel bad on the front of house staff as they where upto they’re usual standards but where receiving a lot of complaints due to the wait time for the food. In addition this, once the food did arrive it wasn’t what we were used to, still edible but not the usual. Therefore me and my partner hope it will be turned around soon!

Mohammed served us and was fabulous from beginning to end, very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He recommended dishes, brought exactly what we ordered without writing it down, and remembered who ordered what so when it came to the bill, he itemised each of our group separately so we could each pay our own, and was absolutely correct. An amazing asset to the place.

So following on from the discriminatory reception from the well known il Bordello restaurant nearby, we decided to try a different Italian restaurant, one not as well known except to the locals of Wapping or well reviewed but I am so grateful we found this place. It is genuinely a little gem situated opposite Tobacco Dock. There are old ships sitting in a dry dock so the view outside is pretty cool. We walked in and were immediately warmly welcomed and seated at our table. The people on the adjoining table were locals and mentioned how good the food was so that was very reassuring. We ordered from the starter menu the gamberoni e rucola (pan fried prawns, garlic chilli), cornetto di salmone (avocado and prawn mousse wrapped in smoked salmon) and burrata (with ham on a bed of rocket with a sweet glaze) All of which were exquisite. Mains consisted of a lobster linguine and a fettuccine al salmone. The lobster was unfortunately a tad over cooked but was bursting with flavour and the linguine and all its sauce was worth licking the plate for. The fettuccine my partner had was so rich and creamy I was in heaven with the taste I had. Desserts; just a tiramisu. It was so light and delicate but packed with flavour. Drinks consisted of a couple of rum swizzles and a mojito. If you like your tropical pineapple and coconut flavours then this is the one for you. I even took one to go. The mojito was very nice but just needed a tad more sugar for my palate. I also ordered an extra pizza to take away cos I had such a good time and loved the food so much. Portion sizes were very healthy, not American size but definitely substantial Service was brilliant. It got a bit busy halfway through our meal with lots of groups and families dining but we felt cared for and appreciated for our custom. Staff saw us out after we finished eating with smiles and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Came here after my friend recommended it, having had a good experience at the Mayfair location. Unfortunately the pastas were really poor. My spaghetti bolognese was really bland with no flavour. My friend's cacio o pepe was very salty. Thankfully , the waiter was able to switch the pasta for my friend , but the replacement that came was also poor. They took one pasta off the bill but unfortunately due to the poor quality, won't be dining here again.

I have recently had a full knee replacement operation and I am still finding it difficult to walk which is why I use my mobility scooter to get about. On the 27th August we decided to go to coffee 2 for lunch only to be told, in a loud and hostile manner that I wasnt allowed in the shop, he loudly proclaimed that it was his "companies policy" to not allow mobility scooters (mine is a small transportable model). I didnt make a fuss and left. When I got back home I checked the website for their Bromsgrove shop and it clearly says that access is good for wheelchairs etc - DEFINATELY NOT a disabled shop!!! As in my opinion some wheelchairs and much bigger than my scooter.

Won best pizza in Europe 2024: don't feel its better than the institutions in Naples, but it's one of the best neopolitan style pizza joints in London. Crust was amazing, but make sure you eat the pizza with the knife & fork and not your hands, else you will make a mess. High quality toppings and generous amount on the pizzas. The Cheesewick is a unique take on quattro formaggi, and the crispy pepperoni pizza slice is delicious and unique if you can handle the heat and love the crisp (it's first deep fried, then baked in the pizza oven). The downside is the atmosphere - the restaurant is very small, and the tables are very close to one another. It's always busy so it's really hard to hear your conversation with all the surrounding noise. Service is highly efficient and we did not wait long for our food despite it being a full house (<45mins to be seated, order for 2, eat and leave). Would recommend a visit for lunch as the Ricordi (ragu special) can sell out by afternoon and make sure to reserve well in advance because walk-in would be very difficult.

Brilliant evening with friends and Derek was an absolute star! We were seated immediately on our arrival and our drinks order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. The food came at a suitable speed and everything we had was excellent. However the best part of the evening was Derek who looked after us brilliantly. So we will definitely go back! Thank you Derek.

We popped into this lovely family run restaurant on way home from seeing our daughter in london. Used the TripAdvisor nearby restaurants and had a lovely meal with friendly service and great atmosphere. No alcohol licence so you can walk to the nearby shop and buy beers or wine and then pay a small charge to the restaurant.
