Had dinner with my 3 year old he loved his pizza. My sea bass was good the fish was perfectly cooked. Wait staff were very friendly.

We worked with Sabatini on a private dinner for over 50 guests as part of an academic conference and were so impressed from start to end. So accommodating, professional and organised - a great to work with. Our guests loved the menu, the ambiance, the service and the food was excellent. We have lots of vegetarian and vegans who were also super happy with the choices offered. Highly recommended for business or a personal visit and a huge thanks to the team. We'll be back!

The dining experience exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only was the food delicious, but we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the inclusion of both starters and mains. As a delightful bonus, we were treated to complimentary shots of Limoncello to conclude our evening. The waiter, Ryan, provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate our requests, including offering a starter not listed on the menu, which the chef, Sam, graciously prepared for us. Every dish we tried was superb, and Ryan's attentive care made us feel as though we were receiving personalised service throughout the meal. We can't wait to return to this family-run establishment on our next visit to Exeter. It's a gem that deserves more recognition among the city's dining scene. Kudos to Ryan, Sam, and the entire team for a truly memorable dining experience!

This is the most fantastic restaurant, it’s independent, the food is top class and presently beautifully. Everything we had was a taste sensation (especially the aranchini). The staff are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. A fabulous place to have a lovely lunch with pals.

From the moment we booked and arriving we were looked after by the excellent manageress Sophie. The 5 course meal was outstanding and complimented by a varied drinks menu. We didn’t feel at all rushed during the meal and were served by very attentive staff. Well done to all the staff we will definitely be returning. Thanks all.

First class Italian restaurant. Superb food and drinks within a great setting, The ambiance is perfect, you feel like a guaranteed good time is about to happen as you walk through the door.

A group of four of us came in December for lunch. The restaurant is conveniently close to the cathedral, but while the restaurant was busy it didn’t feel crammed. We each had both a main course and a dessert. Three of us chose the pizza- these were tasty and cooked well - no complaints. Most of us then chose the bread and butter pudding. This was excellent - and had a Christmasy twist. Service was efficient and pleasant throughout. All in all not bad. I’d probably return but wouldn’t necessarily rush back.

1st visit after friend recommended restaurant is nicely decorated,food was delicious my only criticism was pasta was very thick and sauce whilst tasty didn't quite live up to its description ,plentiful and well cooked chicken but the highlight was the desert I had the panna cotta which I have to say was one of the best I had outside of Italy. Service was efficient but lacked any personality and no check back!! however as a hospitality manager I am rather critical when I go out and notice more of the smaller details. All in all reasonable value, tasty food in a nice location and will return.

Excellent food and service - portions were very generous. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me and my wife - we will defiantly recommend this restaurant to our friends and family .

Really looked forward to an early dinner here. The atmosphere and decor is lovely but what music are they playing. Dreadful and very loud. Alas our meals were not cooked properly. Soggy pizza and chewy Gnocchi, limp sea base skin. It was awful. Give them there due they were very good about it and gave us free desserts. However would you serve tinned peaches with a pan a cotta when there are so many fresh ones available. Sorry won’t be recommending this restaurant any time soon.

Popped in for food on a Friday evening. We hadn’t booked but were told we could have a table if it was returned in an hour. I am glad we accepted the offer. Food was excellent and the service equalled it. Will most certainly be back. Best pasta I have eaten in quite some time and good portion size.
