The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Went to la vita on the 15 th march and was greeted by a little rude man in a grey shirt who had no idea who we was even though we booked for a party of 28 for a 50 th and it didn't get better from there the staff were rude and the only way I can describe the service was shocking we had to go the bar ourselves or you didn't drink and the food took 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive and no kids menu when asking how long our food would be as we had waited over an hour we were told rudely with an eye roll we had to wait for starters to come out only 3 people ordered a starter when the food bear in mind after an hour and a half came out we was greeted to a waitress shouting the what the meal was even though we all had table numbers then as it got too much for her a scruffy looking man with a sweatshirt appeared helping her not knowing what was going on, it's seems to me that just eat delivery people was getting priority on service, by the time my food came I'd gone passed hunger, my son had ordered a pizza, (no kids menu) with chips and I had to go to the pass and take a bowl of chips as I'd asked the waiter 6 times for his chips, no working member could help us, to sum up our experience, we was a big party, from arriving no one greeted us, we was all just stood around I had to ask if we could sit down, to top it off, every single drink bought we had to go the bar ourselves as we got no table service not one team member asked us if we wanted a drink avoid like the plague .

We arrived late afternoon before the Saturday rush. Very friendly staff prepping for post 2nd lockdown service. They still had time to chat about recent struggles but were very positive about the future. This is the first meal here for me although the morning coffee is excellent. We ordered a pizza each and a bottle of very good house red syrah. I could see the kitchen chef rolling and cutting dough in front of the gas pizza oven. The pizza has lovely toppings, were as thin as you could make and very tasty. With an extra large wine and Calypso coffee the bill came to £53. A reasonable price for friendly staff, a nice vibe and good food.

Très déçue par ce restaurant qui au premier abord paraissait être une belle adresse italienne. Les plats étaient plutôt bons, seul point positif de cet établissement où l’on a été de surprise en surprise. Pour info, prévoyez 12% de pourboire et 1livre/personne pour les couverts (precisé sur la carte au début jusqu’ici tout va bien !) il fait aussi consommer au minimum un plat + une boisson. Nous sommes tombées sur un serveur des plus désagréables qu’il soit, aucun sourire, pas aimable… Et à la fin la cerise sur le gâteau : il ne nous donne pas le détail de note et nous tend le TPE ou un tarif 10livres en trop était affiché. On retourne voir la carte. Et bizarrement le temps que l’on recalcule ce que l’on avait pris ce gentil monsieur rectifie son « erreur » en mettant directement le bon montant. Dommage qu’on ait vérifié ce qu’on vous devez cher monsieur ! Bref nous ne recommandons pas ce restaurant, il y en a beaucoup dans le coin où vous mangerez tout aussi bien ou mieux sans vous faire arnaquer !

Nos recibieron muy cálidamente y nos presentaron un excelente menú de comida y bebidas. La comida era excepcional. Gamberoni salsa piccante estaba perfectamente cocinado y la salsa a la espera. Perfecto para ser limpiado por el calzone mini fresco ... que eran ligeros y mullidos. Prosciutto y Rocket pizza era delicioso . . masa de pizza suave increíble con un montón de jamón y cohete. La carbonara fue tremenda. Tan fresco y sabroso. La carta de vinos era amplia y a un precio muy razonable. El servicio era increíble y tan amable. Recomendaría encarecidamente este encantador lugar a la vuelta de la esquina de Borough Market.

My husband and I decided to go here last minute the staff sat us right away they were extremely friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and piping hot and was absolutely fantastic. Very happy with our choice and we recommend highly!

Renato’s, Bristol – A Hidden Gem for Drinks and Pizza Renato’s is a fantastic spot in Bristol, offering a warm, welcoming vibe with a great selection of local ales, lagers, and ciders. We made a last minute booking and turned up on time. Lovely restaurant and nice vibe. Got served quite quickly and all going well. Lovely cocktails too. Not a lover of food coming out when cooked so didn’t bother having a starter as good chance would have come out with main meal or after. Three pizzas and one chicken Milanese. Chicken looked and tasted good. Pizzas are more pizzette in size. Like a garlic bread starter size. My nduja sausage topping one had tiny amounts of topping, more like a margarita with a hint of flavour. I told the server when collecting the plates, though wasn’t asked what I felt about the food. Taken aback but nothing more. Overall I wouldn’t return unless it improved portion size and toppings. Sorry. Promised a lot and delivered medium to little

He visitado prezzo Mill Hill muchas veces durante sus días ocupados y más tranquila. Nunca me han decepcionado en la comida o el servicio. Realmente debo decir que mi última visita se merece millones de estrellas. No sólo la comida (espaguetis con langostinos) era deliciosa, pero el excelente servicio hicieron toda la visita sea inolvidable. Éramos 8 y pedimos diferentes platos: entrantes alonge con pizzas y pastas para el plato principal, terminado con postres y cafés. La presentación de la comida era genial, la comida fresca y caliente suban a tiempo a la mesa. Gritarle a la dirección especial. La señorita fue muy acogedor y se aseguraba de que se sientan cómodos durante toda la visita. Sin duda volveremos!

Went back to the coach house after visiting when the new chef Dominico had taken over.A great improvement in the decor giving it a more modern feel.matched by the change in menu really authentic Italian ingredients..Excellent starter of smoked duck accompanied with poached pears followed by a wonderful see food salad and my wife’s halibut in a red prawn sauce followed by two crepes .Great atmosphere packed house need to book early for a table

Food poor to average, customer service poor will not be returning plenty of alternatives nearby. Should advise that no cash is taken now when making reservation

This a fantastic restaurant. The quality of the food is exceptional authentic. Aldo the owner/ chef was chatty and welcoming, and we were looked after by lovely shyanne. What a smile! Thank you both.

The food here is amazing, really tasty. We came here last night. My husband and I had the spaghetti bolognese and the kids had pizza from the bambino menu. Then for desserts we had profiteroles and the amaretto cheesecake. I cannot rate it highly enough for quality and value for money. We have eaten here four or five times now and have never been disappointed. Would come here every night if I could. I don't write reviews very often - well hardly ever; but if you want excellent food at a very reasonable price you should try this one.
