paid £40 for meal for 2ppl, its a joke the amount wouldn't even feed 1 person 🤔 it was cold and uncooked, really disappointed:/ better go in and book a table at least u get what u paid for.

Ordered regularly throughout lockdown and food was lovely not as nice anymore no choice of sauce menu has changed and way more expensive :/

We got there at 2:00pm and danced out at 9:30pm.......seven of us! The food was amazing..... it took a while to arrive, but when it did, we could see why... everything was freshly cooked and was delicious! Mehmet was so attentive and pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. We all had a fabulous time and will be visiting again in the near future.

Attended a pre booked party. The organisation was appalling even though everything had been provided in advance. No planning by management people finished whilst others still waiting to be served staff trying to find who's was who's food when singer came on. TOILET filthy one broken no flush and full. I asked q member if staff who politely told me nothing to do with her she worked downstairs... that's not the answer. To get to the ladies you walk past the men's which is in fact next to the kitchens and every door is wedged open. Not exactly hygienic and not a nice sight for the 15 women queing for 1 toilet . Thank god we all had a great night because we was all with family who we love and had a ball with. As for the management of the restaurant your rubbish at doing your job.

A chicken kebab we ordered gave my partner food poisoning resulting in 2 days off work sick. I phoned the restaurant and explained what had happened and they said they were very busy last night and this was the first report of food poisoning they'd had - basically insinuated that I was lying. Left my number for a manager to call me back and still haven't heard anything. Will be following up with the local EHO who I'm sure will be interested in looking at this given the 1* FHR which I wish I'd noticed before ordering. I have waited 5 days to hear a response before posting this review but the restaurant isn’t interested in the slightest.

A wonderful evening here would highly recommend! We were a large group (30), and we were served by Diane who truly made it for me. She was lovely, a beautiful smile and a lovely nature. She was so friendly and she served us all single handly with no problems at all and still kept her smile even though it must have been quite difficult to serve so many people. Would definitely come back again! The only suggestion I would make to improve would be that due to us being a large group we had one long table and so it was difficult to socialise with each other.

We booked this restaurant for a group of 32. From initial contact they couldn’t have been better as a number of calls were made to adjust numbers. We were upstairs and it was lovely. My meal was fresh, tasted great and was very reasonably priced. Our server, Diane, couldn’t have been better. She took all 32 individual orders, served all of our starters and mains and kept us in drinks all evening. We were all served more or less together. Nothing was too much and everything went so smoothly. Can’t recommend highly enough, especially for large bookings.

I had 3 chicken wings and 4 cubes of lamb for £22. Not what it says.

Just moved in to Huyton and I decided to explore a bit. La Vita very nice and friendly place. Good food as well. I will definitely back. But one let down. I booked table online and to be honest when we arrived no one really care about our booking they act a bit like they didn’t know where to put us and in the end they split large table and sat us down. No issue but what’s the point of booking system. Anyway we enjoyed and we will be back for sure!

Went here last night with a large family group for my niece’s 18th birthday. As we were a large group, we had all been asked to pre-order our meals, so that things would be quicker and run smoothly on the night. Well, that didn’t work! What an absolute shambles of a birthday meal! We sat down at 6 pm and most of us didn’t get our meals until 8 pm, after watching and listening to the waiting staff running around the room and up and down stairs shouting out to customers asking if anyone had ordered particular dishes that were ready! It was like something off Faulty Towers, only not very funny! When the food came it was cold and very average. As far as we could see, the restaurant had taken too many bookings for the amount of staff they had to cover 2 full floors of diners. They really couldn’t cope and it made for a very unpleasant experience. When one of our (very hungry and agitated) diners went to complain to the manager/owner (he couldn’t decide which he was), he was told that if he carried on, we would all be thrown out! Not very good management skills for a very relevant complaint. He did eventually apologise to a couple of members of our party just before we left, but that isn’t good enough. I would not recommend this restaurant at all and we will be avoiding it at all cost!!

This is a great place, I would highly recommend! It was quite a spontaneous choice as we were wondering around the high street and decided to pop in. The atmosphere was so inviting, we felt very welcomed and offered a nice table by the window. The decor and lights were just right for the relaxing evening meal. There was a good choice of food and drinks on the menu. Portions came very generous, too. Volcano shaped pizza is unbelievable, looks and tastes great! Soft cheese, crusty pizza base, and plenty of ham inside. We shared one pizza for two people and were both full! All in all, the food was amazing, lovely and smiley members of the staff, outstanding customer service. Very clean and cozy place.

The food was cold, Thai fish cakes was burnt, salad was not fresh it was brown in colour.

Great food every time always hot and fresh!

Food was very tasty BUT was near cold which was extremely disappointing considering we live in L36 . Don't begrudge paying for quality but for the price portion sizes in the souvalki were poor. Not enough onions or pepper's nor bread. Overall disappointed. Won't be ordering again.

What can I say.. Food was brilliant, service was great and the atmosphere was superb! First time here and definitely will be back!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and after reading all of the reviews; I wasn’t looking forward to going. But I’m glad I did! We were quickly seated, handed menus and our drinks orders were taken shortly after. The drinks arrived and our food order was taken. There was a bit of a delay but nothing out of the ordinary for freshly cooked food! And we’d also asked for our sharing starter and main to come together. Now I must add we only ordered the sharing starter based on reviews of the portions being small. I got the chicken skewers from the grill menu with fries instead of rice. It was huge! My friend got the chicken carbonara which was also a decent portion. The garlic bread to share that we ordered wasn’t necessary! We’d barely touched the garlic bread so was kindly asked if we wanted it to be boxed up to take home which we accepted. The price for the quality of food was brilliant and the service was second to none! Nothing was too much trouble, both staff members we encountered were polite and friendly. Then there was the bonus of a limoncello shot on the house! My friend was driving so they even done her an alcohol free one which I thought was excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back! Only feedback I’d give is for the menus to be given a wipe over, one of the ones we were handed was a bit sticky.

Lovely meal and a very relaxing evening

I recently visited la vita and unfortunately I was quite disappointed. The children's meals arrived significantly later than the adult dishes, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. Also it was incredibly difficult to get the attention of the staff throughout the meal for updates on the children’s food and the bill etc. Most good restaurants know that small children should be served first to stop them fidgeting and fussing while the adults wait for theirs, it actually ruined our night with how late the children’s meals came out compared to the adults. What was left of our food after we’d fed most of it to the children to keep them quiet was cold by the time theirs came out. Which we then had to eat as the children had eaten most of ours. I’d have much preferred to eat the pasta that I’d ordered rather than my child’s chicken nuggets!!

New menu is extortionate. Was a nice menu for take away. Now it's no better than a cheap kebab shop. Last time I order takeaway or go there for dinner. Just lost a very loyal regular.

Came here on a Monday evening. Between three of us had a pepperoni pizza, which was very well enjoyed by my son, a penne pollo pasta which my partner enjoyed. I had orecchiette with Italian sausage, broccolini in a creamy tomato sauce. I ate it all, it was OK, but found that there was too much sauce for my liking which drowned everything out. Tiramisu pudding was OK. With 2 peroni and 2 coke came to 60 pound. Good value and staff very pleasant. A nice restaurant with large open front which, although welcome, helped us to enjoy the vapes and cigarettes of all those outside.

I don’t understand the bad reviews about this restaurant because it’s really not true. Also the cocktails were very good and the staff knows what they are doing! They were very busy for a Sunday evening as well. Great job everyone!

Sweaty burger and chips, absolutely not worth the money. Malteaser sized falafel, absolute joke.

Apart from the risotto (think someone forgot to season it) we can’t say the food was absolutely awful. It was just the whole experience was a bit meh. We arrived to a pretty much empty restaurant but was left stood there very awkwardly for a good few minutes waiting to be seated while the waitress was polishing glasses or something behind the bar. And then we had the extremely annoying experience of another family arriving after us who apparently knew the staff or were regulars or something, as she immediately put down the glass and called over to them and seated them before us! I felt like walking out there and then. We managed to place our drinks and starter orders pretty quickly, but after that it was like we were invisible, we had to stand up and shout the waitress over before she’d notice us, this was to order the main course, and then more drinks. We couldn’t even be bothered for the dessert and coffee menu afterwards, it wasn’t worth the effort. The cocktails were rubbish too, we ordered our favourite ones first and they tasted disgusting and nothing like they should. When we ordered the second ones we were watching her making them and she wasn’t following anything like the correct recipe or proper ingredients?? It was like someone had let my 4yo behind the bar to ‘make potions’. We stuck to gin after that. Needless to say we won’t be back!!

Was very disappointed. Burger Bun clearly frozen and not fresh, had half another bun stuck to it. Salad not fresh (browning). Caesar Salad again not fresh.

Pretty awful to be honest. Food was hit and miss and the service was non existent. We had one drink each and a main but then were unable to order more drinks and desserts due to a rude and ignorant waitress. I was tempted at...

Worst meal I've had out for months,soup starter was good with flat bread but our main meal was ruined,we ordered 6,only 6 mains, and five came,we reported this to the waitress who took our order and she walked away. The other five of us finished our meals and asked about the 6th meal and the staff said it wll be here soon,15 mins later it arrived too late,such a pity because it was my brothers birthday and it was his meal that went missing once bitten ,twice shy,never again. Despite the missing meal the food was below average and needs a lot of training of the staff

I’ve used this place for many many years, liking the food yet always thinking it to be overpriced. Today however - being charged £6.50 for literally four prawns, has finally lost my custom. Beyond cheeky.

A party of 12 adults and 2 children went for a celebration for a 30th Birthday. Staff were brilliant very friendly and accommodating. We had a table down stairs and requested to move upstairs as there was more room, no problem, the staff helped carrying...

Incorrect order received, ordered Lamb Kebab, received Chicken, had already started to eat meal to late to contact.

Had the potential to be lovely but it was stone cold. I will never understand why any restaurants put the drink in the SAME bag as the food. Food cold and can warm. Makes no sense. The Greek salad was dripping in water and the bag was filled with grease. Could be so much better with a little care.

Disappointing. This is the 5th time that ive received my order with part of it missing, usually the tub of salad, last time the rice, sometimes i havnt bothered calling about it other times i have an waited an extra half hour on top of the previous hour for the rest of the order to turn up an by then the halloumi kebab is stone cold an rock hard. I always write vegetarian on the note.. one time i received a rack of ribs …for the amount you pay, £17 quid for a small meal there shouldnt really be any issues 🤌🏻

Food was over a hour late from the original time it was due to come and cold. Terrible experience. Prawns where over cooked but cold and one was even burnt. Lamb was over cooked and chewy. wouldn't waste your money or time.

I ordered two salads over 2 hours ago and it’s still not arrived. I called the restaurant for an update and the lady said the last of the orders have just left… that was over 40 minutes ago. Now I can’t get through to the restaurant as either no one answers or the number is busy!
