Imaginarium Bistro Prescot Absolutely terrible considering bought gift voucher for people! Beef tough, roasties and Yorkshire pudding like bullet's , just thrown on the plate too. Sorry I bought vouchers! Poor service, staff weren't interested in comments when asking how was meal? Its gone right down hill since we went March!

We went to celebrate a family members birthday, we were booked in at 3.30pm it took till 16.45 to get our starters, the service to get drinks was just a nightmare!! We ordered a bottle prosecco and were given plastic flutes I was totally shocked, I was told they only had a few Prosecco glasses and the party in the outside had them? After the starter I was waiting to get the plates cleared and new cutlery, I was told I couldn’t have new cutlery they didn’t have enough I had to clean my knife and fork with the napkin, at this point I was speechless. The roast came and we had been so looking forward to it, well it was just terrible, you couldn’t cut the beef at all, it was like leather, instant mash potatoes and frozen Yorkshire pudding and stuffing ball, the carrots were really hard and the green beans totally overcooked. I made a point of telling the young girl how bad the meat was and she just dismissed me. After then spending another 30mins sorting out the bills I went to pay and stated I was un happy with what I had been served, the way I was told to wipe my knife and fork from my starter to use for my main, plastic flute glasses to drink out of? Poor service, I was told well I am only the supervisor, she stated they had a big party in and it wasn’t her problem? Not what I wanted to hear, very unprofessional I was then told to contact the owners if I was un happy, most of our party complained my sister in law was just given a card to say she could email her concerns. Absolutely shocking!

We visited Imaginarium for a surprise 50th birthday party last weekend. We arrived at a pre arranged time but they didn't seem to be ready or prepared for us. The service was really slow, but we all managed to get our drinks and was in the tent ready for the birthday girl when she arrived, albeit slightly later than planned partly due to the delays at the bar. We had ordered a buffet for 70+ people at £12.50 a head, when it arrived it was extremely poor. There were only a couple of trays of sandwiches, a couple of bowls of chips, some bread and tomato, a few trays of boiled rice and an exceptionally poor chicken curry and vegetarian curry. The lack of food and poor quality was brought to the Manageress' attention to which she reacted very badly, accusing the party organiser of bullying and threatening behaviour, a totally ridiculous accusation. Again, we put this aside and continued enjoying our evening. The party was due to finish at 10pm so last orders were called around 15 minutes before. As soon as last orders were called and no more money would be spent, the owner of Imaginarium came into the tent, turned the music off and launched into the dramatic performance that ended our night. She was screaming, calling people names, accusing us all of causing mayhem and even accusing us of assaulting both her and her daughter, complete fiction. This was totally unprovoked and unnecessary. The police were called and the night was over. Such as shame as the venue is lovely, lots of potential just bad management.

Next thing blue lights were everywhere as 4 police cars turned up!! The police expected a mass brawl and instead were faced with women flabbergasted at what had just happened. The police were just as surprised. The only aggressive person there was the owner!! Apparently we had been rude and abusive, but not abusive enough obviously as they kept taking our money right up until the end of the night when conveniently the owner decided to call the police. What an absolute waste of police time. The owner and manager should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and I feel so sorry for the young staff that work for them. I have read a similar review since about the owner's behaviour. Obviously hospitality is not the right job for her. My advice avoid this place like the plague!

Popped in quickly to see if they did take away food and they was happy to accommodate my request 😊 I got peri peri chicken and rice and it was UNREAL!!! Boxed with care too not just thrown in like most take away dishes.

I had a fabulous dining experience recently from here. As a vegetarian I went for the hummus and falafel flat bread, the plating was unique and brilliant and the taste was exquisite! The sauce was tasty and the salad mixture was fresh and juicy 😊

A Friend hired this venue for another Friends Surprise 50th Birthday Party, good communication prior to event, we were told a maximum of approximately 70 people which we adhered to, even letting Friends down on a first come first serve basis. We had a staggered arrival between 4-4.45pm due to Birthday girl arriving by 5.15pm even so there was long queue at the bar and a lack of seating in the roundhouse, the limited staff were bringing chairs in at this point, the bar was quite poorly stocked and the wine was overpriced for the quality of it A few niggles but nothing to spoil the evening until the buffet, poor quality chicken curry, a few foil trays of overcooked rice, some chips, a small platter of sausage rolls and a few platters of dry, bland sandwiches that I wouldnt serve at a Childrens party. Our lovely Friend who organised this approached the manager with her disappointment at the buffet to then be verbally attacked as were a few of our party, they then called the police lying that we were all brawling, laughable, this was a female only event and the majority of us are in our 40s,the only brawling we do is boxing for fitness, pure lies and a waste of police time and I believe this is not the first time said Manager has done this .Our Friend is a very successful Business Woman and hosts and organises many events, lots for multiple charities also and this really upset her at the way she was mistreated by the owner, the rest of her family were almost as bad as her, they also stated we bombarded the place all at the same time, again untrue Such an unprofessional outfit, I couldn't even say business, the circus theme is quite fitting There are much more welcoming and better quality places to eat at in Prescot, Harringtons and Pinion never dissapoint

After my original review was deleted.. clearly the truth hurts. Unprofessional. Attended a party here this weekend in the roundhouse, no problems until the buffet provided, a polite and professional small complaint was taken to the manager all with good reason, she then turned it round onto us and said she felt intimidated and bullied- yet then stood behind the bar laughing while she could see how much distress she had caused- totally unprovoked. We carried on with our party, to then have the delightful owner push through our party, take control of my phone and our sound system, all while shouting, name calling and actually shoved one of the people with us. She then called the police claiming that there was 75 people brawling, which was never the case at any point- a waste of police time. So extremely unprofessional from those involved. Both owner and manager should be ashamed, but the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Attended a friend’s 50th birthday party in the tent adjacent to the restaurant. Having a fabulous time, (all women ) Dancing, enjoying ourselves, but when we received the buffet it was not as expected for £12.50 pp. when a couple of girls mentioned this to the staff during the evening about the buffet not being good and it was met with aggressive outbursts. Then 10-15 minutes before we were due to finish at 10pm the owner appeared shouting and saying to switch the music off being aggressive for no apparent reason. Also in attendance was a number of police cars of which the owner had called them as to which was totally unnecessary, even the police said so. Don’t know what the owner’s problem was as no trouble was caused just a lots of ladies having fun a celebrating a birthday. Be very careful if you are thinking of booking this venue and spend your money there, it is not worth it. 5 stars for the atmosphere made by us in the party not for the place or staff.

I attended the venue as part of a group attending a friend's 50th birthday. The excitement building up to the event was amazing and the planning that went into the night was impeccable. Everything was agreed with the owners before hand and wow how they did not deliver!!! I was charged £26 for a bottle of prosecco and my friend was charged £22. I mentioned this in my next visit to the bar, 1 person on the bar for 70 people!!! - and this was rectified - not sure if this happened to anyone else. I have eaten here so many times and was looking forward to the buffet - what a disappointment. I paid £12.50 for 2 cheese triangle sandwiches, chips and chopped tomatoes, despite the organiser being informed there would veggie options!! Then when the quality of the buffet was challenged the manager was so unprofessional and became totally defensive. This is not the first time she has done this reading other reviews Then to top the night off the owner called the police saying 70 women were fighting and 4 police cars came. There was nothing but good vibes, singing and dancing in a room full of women mainly aged 40+. Again I believe this is not the first time this has happened. I have always given doubts when I've read negative things about this place but I feel it's ok until you have a problem and they will not accept any criticism and jump on the defensive. If you can't handle a complaint professionally then you should not be in hospitality. I'm so disappointed and at a time when hospitality is struggling and there's lots of competition in our lovely town you should deal with your customers better. Show less

Would not recommend at all. Real shame had high expectations but was an awful experience. On several different visits.

Don’t be fooled by the 5 starts for atmosphere- that was all us, because we had a wonderful party in the roundhouse, in spite of the actions of the Imaginarium staff and owner. Two young servers were trying their best. 75 women at a 50th birthday party. Almost £700 was handed over for a sad, small buffet of watery ‘chip shop’ curry, ‘kids sandwiches’ sausage rolls and fries. We rightly complained, were met with a bad attitude from a rude manager, and ultimately paid the balance anyway. Some party food was added to the table 45 mins after we had cleared the original offering which went untouched as guests had eaten what they could from the buffet and the party had carried on. They didn’t let us know more food was coming when we made our complaint, nor once it was served - a silent acknowledgement of the poor state of the food maybe? Two hours later and just 15 minutes before the end of our party, having taken our custom at the bar, an apoplectic woman demanded we left amongst vicious name calling, shouts and screams. Very extreme behaviour from the owner of Imaginarium, (although if I’d behaved like that I wouldn’t have admitted to the affiliation) and I can only assume a way to retaliate following the food complaint. Made more shocking by the fact that we had paid in full for the dismal buffet and continued to enjoy our evening as normal. They must have made a fortune on the bar alone. Would you believe they actually reported a brawl to the police, to prompt them to make clear us out…..the officers were all wonderful and understanding, and chatted to us while we cleared away. The cctv proved not to be working and the police’s time was wasted. I’ve spotted a theme amongst the reviews here, and you will see a similar tone from the managers responses, mentioning cctv (which couldn’t be shown) but this isn’t the way to deal with customers -as anyone who has worked in hospitality would say. I wouldn’t suggest holding any kind of function or special meal here as it’s likely to be ruined by the lack of customer service and volatile management. We still had a wonderful time dancing the night away together until that point.

Monday evening I was scrolling down my instagram feed and up popped the attached post which boasted 50% off food, happy days I was thinking.. a nice mid week treat with a couple of drinks after work with a cheeky discount, well don’t I REGRET seeing that post now! Upon entering we was greeted by a loverly young waitress who showed us to our table, I explained we had booked online for two people and asked if it’s okay for a third guest to join us to which she assured us this was no problem, very polite may I add. We proceeded to sit down, order drinks and ask if the set menu was included in the 50% off deal advertised on instagram, yes that’s all included she replied. Order placed, 15 minutes goes by and all three of us drooling at the thought of steak, bruschetta and calamari arriving any second… and then CRASH BANG WOLLOP. “When youse booked did you write the special code in the comments section?” FFS here we go I thought silly me I haven't wrote the secret password in the bloody comment section! Sat there drowning in embarrassment alls I could wonder is how one shall acquire thy secret password to the 50% off when there is NO mention of it what so ever in the advertisement. So after double checking the post and my sanity we asked to speak to the manager to resolve the situation. Thud..thud..thud a black cloud of misery in the form of a restaurant manager appeared. To keep a long story short any attempt at keeping our buissness was shot to the ground and shortly after the bill arrived for our drinks un requested. Thankfully the spice chilli up the road saved the day, with top notch service and food as always. Not even I could IMAGINE the experience we had tonight.

Wouldn’t recommend visiting. Food looks lovely online (and probably tastes it), Sadly we didn’t get the chance to try any of it as my experience was shortly turned sour. We booked online for a midweek offer they had been promoting, after having a drink, a lovely young girl took our order, we made the waitress aware that we was making use of the aforementioned offer while ordering our food, this was fine we was told. Fifteen minutes go by and the waitress comes back to us proclaiming that we now cannot use this offer as we have not put a certain code in our booking reference - which was firstly not mentioned on their social media where I saw the offer (see attached image) and secondly they had no problem letting us all order our food in the first place. We admitted that we didn’t know anything about this reference, I politely asked to have a word with the manager, I explained the situation to her and asked the obvious question of can we not just book another table for now with this reference code and she basically said no, as we have already booked our table ( the restaurant was completely empty to add, us being the only people in there) surely some custom is better than none? If the manager would have at-least tried to show some sincerity or even a simple apology for THEIR mistake, we would have happily paid full price for the meal but the manner we was spoken to was totally demeaning and at this point we we had been put off dining in there. With no attempt to resolve the situation the manager walked away, shortly after, the bill for our drinks was put on our table (despite still having 3/4 of a drink still) and coincidentally the music was abruptly turned off- the atmosphere instantly went from bad to worse. Safe to say I won’t be returning anytime soon due to the appalling customer service.

We've been to Imaginarium a few times now as it's local to us and it's such a lovely place to enjoy some great food and great service. Today we tested their new Sunday roast via Just Eat and it was really good! Delivery was quick, packaged up well and still hot. The mash especially was really creamy and tasty! Always one of our fav places to eat.

Superb food, friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely be going again soon. Presentation of food was fantastic.

Went here also on New Year’s Eve set menu £39 per head starter ok main food was supposed to Be hunter chicken and triple cooked chips chips were triple microwaved but hot and chicken was cold sent that back and ended up with desert not much you can do wrong with a shop bought banoffee cheesecake shocking won’t bother spending my money locally again.

We were booked in for a matinee at Shakespeare North and had planned to eat in their cafe, but found it was only offering snacks as the chef was off sick. The lovely team at Imaginarium managed to squeeze us in despite being busy, and we really enjoyed our lunch. The pasta with creamy garlic sauce was luscious.

I hired the Imaginarium for a surprise party for my boyfriends 40th. From booking the venue, sorting out what food we wanted, to organising the night, Robyn and the staff were amazing! The staff on the night couldn’t have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and the drinks so reasonably priced. I will be hiring the venue again! ❤️

A hidden gem. Within cricket 🏏 ball throwing distance of The Shakespeare North. Didn't know how close it was until a staff member asked if we were attending the theatre. So they could prompt us 5 minutes beforehand . Very professional and courteous. The food was delicious and plentiful. Staff attentive and polite. The bistro is surrounded by ample parking paid for via the NCP app.Looking forward to my next visit. My only criticism would be that it did not open during the day for coffee. Prices are much cheaper than most coffee shops. Please put pizza on the menu. Food of the gods and children alike!

Have been in the past and really loved the setting and ambience however we went to the Halloween party yesterday and they had sold too many tickets. It was so busy so our children struggled to join in as they are so young. The entertainment was geared towards older children so as a result of this the younger children just ran around wild. It would have been better to have had a toddler session and an older children session.

Myself, my husband and our 4 year old daughter visited tonight for an early tea and had a fabulous time. The place itself is lovely and cozy and really well decorated. The waiting staff are so friendly, particularly the young man who served us for most of the evening… he and the chef also went out of their way to accommodate our daughter’s strange little requests (e.g chicken nuggets with carbonara!) and nothing was too much trouble. The food itself was tasty as well. We will definitely be returning :-)

First time I'd been here and what a cute little place! Lovely cosy feel to it. Italian theme with old style Italian music to match. I ordered the lasagne and salad and my husband ordered the halloumi burger. Both were tasty and filling. We had biscoff cheesecake for dessert which was delicious! Great service. Will go again!

Wow what can I say I wish I could give more stars. After not knowing where to throw my little boys 1st birthday party we come for tea one night and seen the soft play and dine which is an amazing idea for little ones. I enquired about having the party here and the manger couldn’t have been more helpful. We had the party in the roundhouse section of the bistro and hired the soft play from there sister company imagine soft play it was perfect for the little ones and we had a bouncy castle outside the round house. Food was absolutely gorgeous everyone was giving compliments to the chef. It was a perfect day for my little boy I couldn’t be more thankful. Everything about it was amazing start to finish thankyou again for making my little boys birthday the best day ever x

Gorgeous restaurant with the perfect addition for little ones, soft play and dine is the best idea when you don’t want your baby sitting in a chair waiting for food (or waiting for us to finish eating!) a lovely dining area with super helpful staff and management! The food is always spot on and even the chef knows my regular order now 🤣

Really disappointed with immaginarium bistro, it had improved over the past 12 months but has gone down the pan again. Chorizo in honey was like chewing a sticky toffee and the chips were really undercooked. They did change them but by the time they arrived the rest of the meal had been eaten. Overall really disappointed.

The priorities of the staff are very very wrong. We attended here the evening before ‘the managers wedding’ three families in the whole bistro and 50 minutes after ordering …. Still no food. We asked how much longer after 50 minutes and staff informed us ‘chef is starting it now’ we got up and left. A lady with glasses and blonde hair did not see the issue and said oh sorry it’s the managers wedding tomorrow. That is not an excuse for the service. There was at least 9 members of staff in the building. A women with a baby who I assume was the bride was ensuing everything was about her. If the wedding was going to cause this much disruption then it should have closed. Staff walking past giving no eye contact because they knew customers where not priority. Imagine sitting there for a hour and something is walking past pointing at places where bunting needs to be placed. I will never return here, nor will I share with others. Your priorities are wrong. The bistro should have shut.

We recently visited for soft play and lunch on Wednesday. The food was delicious and the kids loved the soft play. Such a brilliant idea in a gorgeous setting. Kris served us and went above and beyond to help a little girl who couldn't see her mum. He was so pleasant and really interacted with the kids in a professional manner. It was lovely to see. We will definitely be back again!

We waited over 90 minutes for our mains to arrive (starters were relatively quick). Some people came in after us, got the full order, and then left before we got our main. We repeatedly got told it was because of the large table they had in but again, the majority of these people got their main course before we did. It was so loud in there. We asked for the music to be turned down, which they did, but the large table that was in was just so loud it spoiled the evening even further. The server we had was polite and kept us updated but we couldn't wait to get out of there ultimately, after waiting so long for everything.

Went here for a 40th in their outside 'tent' style area. Had a great time . Ordered food later on in the evening from here and it was good quality and very tasty. Staff were friendly and provided great service.

After taking a recommendation from an Instagram blogger I decided to select this place for a birthday meal for my daughters second birthday, this was the perfect place as the soft play and dine option would be such a great idea for my child to have fun whilst being in sight. Service was quite slow having waited over 45 minutes for food but we give the benefit of the doubt. After receiving food the atmosphere in the resturant was ruined and I am absolutely disgusted as to what happened last night. A table next to us had a negative dining experience which they have left on the review of there own however after they left a review the manager and the owner ran (flew) at there table screaming in there faces and shouting at them to leave and they didn’t need there money despite the table spending over £250. The whole thing was very near looking to end up in a physical altercation, bare in mind my child and nephew was there and so many other families were dining. This completey ruined our night, it left our children and family shaking. Whilst this was happening the manager was also standing arguing with a baby on her hip Some of the staff literally quit and left on the spot. Meaning on Instagram today the bistro was closed. The whole experience was so poor, you really wouldn’t expect to see this behaviour at a local pub never mind a upmarket bistro. Never have I ever witnessed behaviour from an owner, manager or staff. You really should be embarrassed at your behaviour and ability to handle challenging situations. I had such high hopes of this place and we were all really looking forward to coming to experience however I will never put my daughter or family in a vile situation again.

Bit of a strange experience for our visit but an ultimately honest one. Booked as was advertised as a kid friendly play day with soft play set up. This was perfect as we visited with our children. Arrived earlier than our booking and the waitress was brilliantly accomodating to get us sat down quickly and was continually attentive. Starts were of a top quality, extremely tasty and well priced. Things went south however when it came to the main courses. We were offered the "special" to which we ordered 3 of. The main courses arrived minus 1 special also with a kids portion of one of the mains the adults ordered. (This was a kitchen mixup acknowledged by the waitress and rectified quickly) 20 minutes passed and the 1 special that was missing had still not arrived so we asked the waitress, just to be told 10 minutes later "oh the chef said we had 3 at the time but got none left now" Understandably frustrated we asked to speak to the manager. 20 minutes passed, all the adults had finished their mains, yet still no response from the manager. A member of the party went in to find the manager. The manageress on duty was also caring for her child and immediately went on the defensive asking "what do you want us to do?" We tried to understand the mistake and accepted the offer of a "free main" for the inconvenience. The replacement main came, albeit nearly 50 minutes since the rest of the main courses, but had no fork to which the waiter said he would bring. By the time the fork arrived, the steak was cold. We, well within our rights, sent this back to the kitchen but was received with a very snotty response from the chef of "well it was warm when I sent it out" Following this the bill was sent to us and we requested the card machine. Before the card machine arrived, we were met by the "owner" along with the manageress, holding her child, aggressively confronting us regarding a review that one of our party, quite rightfully, left. In front of our children we were instructed to leave the premises despite us stating we had not paid yet. We were humiliated in front of other customers, in front of our young children, and with zero consideration of accountability taken for what was a clear disaster in the kitchen/communication department. It's a real shame as the food we had was really nice, the service prior to this was really good and the premises are really nice. To be aggressively confronted by an owner or manager of a business however in that way is both totally unacceptable and totally unprofessional. I manage business myself and at times I need to hold up my hands and admit I need to be accountable for the actions of the business. This was not the case on this occasion. The lack of responsibility taken was horrendous. I must note that the waitresses on duty, the supervisor (young lad), the lady I'm charge prior to 3pm were all brilliant. This review is solely aimed at the management, the owner and the chef on shift.

Started out a lovely day! Ordered starters and let the kids have a play. Kids food come and the nuggets tasted of pepper! Then a few hours later we ordered our mains. 3 specials a burger and a pasta dish. 2 specials, the burger and a pasta dish come out. The pasta dish was a children's portion (which was recifified immediately (amazing) but the last special didn't arrive and no mention of it. We asked about 20 minutes later (when we seen a waitress/waiter) to which we were told oh yes I will check. Come back about 10 minutes later (as the whole table had finished their meals) to advise they had no specials left! So meanwhile everyone had finished their meals, I had no meal and got told what do you want me to do about it by the manager! The manager was absolutely disgraceful, her attitude was unbelievable and she should not have a business if she cannot take accountability for their actions! I then ordered a steak medium (as the manager said I can do this for free) and it come stone cold and more rare than medium. So we took this back to be told by the chef, "i sent this out 10 minutes ago so not my problem!" So I had no meal what so ever as I went passed hungry by then! We put a review on before we left (after we asked for the bill) to be confronted by the manager, the owner and the chef screaming in our faces about the review! We had young kids with us and had been there since 2pm and we had been nothing but understanding to waits etc but to be confronted with such anger was a disgrace! We was told to leave and not pay but just to get out, which we did as our children had gotten upset but the situation! Looking at previous reviews on how others have had a bad time at the restaurant and how management had handled the situation, was our experience! Will not been returning at all. Disgraceful!

Visited with a friend and our two babies. The soft play is such a good idea - the babies could play whilst we waited for our foods. The salt and pepper chicken wraps were lovely! Will definitely come back again - please keep the soft play!

Booked a table for 8 for a 40th birthday. Staff were so helpful. Decorated the table for us. Service was great and the food was delicious. It was a perfect night, couldn't fault it. Thank you so much, Diane xx

We had our sons christening party here and the day was simply spectacular. From beginning to end the employees couldn’t have done enough for us. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure the day went without a hitch, the food was incredible, again, nothing was too much for them. They made us feel like number one and I really can’t thank everyone enough. A real gem in the heart of Prescot.

Food and drinks took a very long time, and the food was pretty tasteless. Gave the restaurant another go to see if it was just a bad night and unfortunately no change. Lots of empty tables, and wait staff waiting around despite customers wanting more drinks and food - pretty inside, but not enough to warrant the prices they charge for the poor food and wait service

Didn't have a good experience here tonight, took ages waiting to order food and drinks, kids meals were very average and adults didn't end up eating as the food still hadn't come out nearly 2 hours after arriving. Manager very defensive when we complained I won't be returning unfortunately

Food was ok but service wasn’t good. Generally slow at the start and then forgotten about after main. Was given the menu for desserts but never came back to ask if I wanted to order anything. Waiter had gone on break. The one other staff member was busy taking drinks outside and only came over to clear our bottle of wine, by which time it was too late.

We visited the restaurant on the themed Tapas Thursday. The food was immaculate. Meatballs were fantastic. The whole meal was excellent. Also received great service. Could not rate the place high enough.

TAPAS NIGHT - WOW, WOW, WOW - Our first time here, it was amazing, great setting, great food, great staff, I was blown away, will definitely be going back, what a great little find.

Great place for a dinner had a little mishap with the starter, the soup of the day came out cold 🥶 but was sorted out quickly and rectified well done to the staff for reacting to the issue 👏 price of the food is very reasonable considering the price of everything nowadays! Would recommend if you have never tried!

Visited this welcoming restaurant with my mum as a late Mother’s Day surprise. With this being our first visit, we didn’t know what to expect. It was an evening to remember! Very quiet for a Wednesday evening, we had the place to ourselves! Can’t understand why it wasn’t busier as it was such a good experience. We ordered the spicy meatball linguine and chicken layered salad, with a side of garlic bread. All well put together with fine ingredients and good portion sizes. Not sure how we managed dessert on top of that but upon hearing the cheesecake of the day was Lotus biscoff, I couldn’t really refuse! My mum had the warm chocolate brownie which also went down a treat. Overall, this is the best meal out we’d both had in a long while. We were welcomed in and served by a cheery lady (think her name was Judith?) who was very attentive and checked up on us a number of times to ensure we had everything we needed. I’d urge anyone in the area to give this place a try. If you’re looking for a special meal out, the Imaginarium Bistro is your place. I can imagine this being a popular spot in the summer, as it has a wide open space outdoors. Moderately priced and great tasting food. A nice atmosphere with well thought out decoration. Service also top quality. Cannot fault it and will be back soon!

We booked a table for 7 for Mother’s Day. We had a 3 course meal and I can honestly say that the food was so delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Without doubt the best lamb roast dinner you’ll get in Prescot. Atmosphere is great, staff are always attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

This was my last meal on a visit with my long distance relationship. Honestly it couldn't have been any better if they tried. The music was perfect and the atmosphere with all the lights and the theatre theme was just wonderful. Both of us enjoyed our food tremendously and we are both fussy as hell. Went to the imaginarium bistro yesterday and was put off from ever returning. We booked at table at 4:45. Went in to be left standing without being greeted and shown to a table for about 5 mins. We did eventually get a table and were left for 15 mins without even a drinks order being taken. During this time staff were cleaning around us and ignored us waving for attention. In the end we gave up and left-told staff at the till what happened and just got a “sorry about that”. Had a lovely meal in another restaurant in Prescot with fantastic customer service and food so it’s the imaginarium’s loss as we spent £80 and gave a good tip to that other business. It seemed like the staff were indifferent and not too bothered. I’ve visited before and it’s been nice but I can’t see myself coming back after this experience and won’t be recommending to family or friends.

What can I say .from start to finish it was bad . Waiting for ever for a drink.
