Bellissimo Ristorante in Richmond upon Thames

We arrived late afternoon before the Saturday rush. Very friendly staff prepping for post 2nd lockdown service. They still had time to chat about recent struggles but were very positive about the future. This is the first meal here for me although the morning coffee is excellent. We ordered a pizza each and a bottle of very good house red syrah. I could see the kitchen chef rolling and cutting dough in front of the gas pizza oven. The pizza has lovely toppings, were as thin as you could make and very tasty. With an extra large wine and Calypso coffee the bill came to £53. A reasonable price for friendly staff, a nice vibe and good food.

I can't believe that I have been living here for seven years and have never been here. On a last minute meal decision before the second lockdown my friend and I decided to meet here for dinner. A lovely restaurant although it was really cold as they kept on openings the doors!For starters I had the special of the king prawns and my friend had the mussels..both dishes were absolutely delicious..for mains I had the veal pasta this was incredible, I could have eaten three times more this is not to say the portions were small it was so good that I could haven't just carried on eating more. I then had the tirimisu for dessert, another hit. We had a lovely meal here..prices however are on the high end. Also some of the public areas like the toilet could have been given a bit more attention and it was cold in the restaurant..the food however was on point. Next time I want to try their steak pizza!

Absolutely 10/10 every time I go. Everyone I take says the same. Fantastic for any occasion. I’ve had a pasta dish every time so far. Never have I ever enjoyed Italian like it.

I have no idea how the food is here, we sat for nearly 30 minutes and didn't see hide nor hair of anyone to take our order, not even for a drink. My hunger outweighed anything else and rather than chew my own arm off we left.Thanks for nothing.

Toilets out of order, no toilet paper. Absolutely disgusting. Even if the food is good, this is unacceptable for a public restaurant

As frequent diners before lockdown, we had a few favourites on the menu, so had a special request for their steak pizza which is usually featured as a special. Bellissimo did not disappoint! The steak was cooked to perfection and the portion was more than generous. The crust...always in incredible. To accompany the pizza we added the pear salad, which was filled with the creamiest goat cheese, I’ve ever tasted along with prosciutto and juicy slices of pear. As this is our favourite local restaurant, we are pleased can support them. Always friendly, can’t wait to visit when things return to normal.

We’ve been eating here regularly for the past couple of years and seen it slowly going downhill. Last night will be our last visit. The place was like a furnace with fan heater blasting out directly behind us. The guys standing around the kitchen could see we were struggling but totally ignored us. As usual there was only one waitress. There were only a few tables occupied but we had to wait 10 minutes for her to come to us. We managed to order drinks but then had to wait an age to order food which the kitchen then got wrong.To be fair the food was ok but the service was just awful. Probably not the fault of the waitress and more due to managers being too mean to employ more.We won’t be going back. There are too many other good restaurants in Twickenham for us to waste our time here.

A great place to get a simple yet amazing meal. Delicious food at not very much, lovely staff and a great friendly atmosphere.

We were looking for somewhere for lunch in Twickenham prior to watching the BaaBaas play Fiji. We found this restaurant by chance, and they had space. They soon got pretty busy, but the staff coped well, and waiting times were perfectly acceptable. Menuwise, we both went for the pasta, pleased to find something a little different from the usual run-of-the-mill that most places offer; and my tiramisu was the lightest I've had for a long time. Prices seemed resaonable enough for that quality in the London area. We'll certainly go back if we are in the area again.

Valentino's menu is up to high class Italian restaurants. One can choose between a delightful veriety of dishes. A nice surprise.

Popped into this delightful little restaurant, as love all things Italian, and was not disappointed, one of the best lasagne I have had, followed by a delicious tiramisu, good service, very good value, will return.

Amazing food, amazing hospitality,amazing prices just the best in Twickenham so far, for all the Italian food lovers and pizza!!! Just amazing!!!!!

The wife and I stopped here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Looks small from the outside but there are lots of tables across 3 floors. The pizzas and calzones looked amazing. Can recommend the veal pasta, it was delicious. I’m always a fan of restaurants with an authentic and open kitchen. Service was ok.

Fabulous food, no gluten free options given for breakfast however they where more than willing to adjust the meal to suit me... Definitely will go back... Staff where friendly and helpful.

Have lived in Twickenham on and off for enough years to have seen this place go through a few changes but have never been in. Looking for Italian on Easter Sunday for a dinner we decided to give it a go. The restaurant was clean and tidy and despite there not being a lot of customers, the music and. lighting helped to create a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Service was good and we were promptly served our starters (bruschetta and mussels) followed by mains (wild boar ragu and carbonara). Food was gorgeous but we probably won't have starters next time as couldn't finish the mains! Enjoyed a limoncello after our dinner before asking for the bill and being pleasantly surprised by the cost. We will be back!

Nous avons été surpris que notre fille résidant en Angleterre nous emmène dans un restaurant italien pour prendre un English Breakfast. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Loin de là.Pour un prix raisonnable de moins de 7 £ nous avons eu un petit déjeuner 'full' avec bacon, saucisses, œufs et tout ce qui va avec (même les baked beans).A noter que les toasts sont du 'vrai' pain, pas du pain de mie industriel.Service cool et très arrangeant, ils n'ont pas hésité à remplacer certains ingrédients non tolérés ou non souhaités.Bref, une belle surprise à quelques mètres de la gare de Twickenham.

We had booked to come for lunch on the recommendation of a friend before an England Rugby match. When we arrived it was not too busy but within an hour later it was full.As it was a big match day there was only a set three course menu but with five or six dishes available for each course, I recall, but still a good variety. Service was good but there was no pressure at all to rush. Time was at our discretion. We enjoyed each course and the food was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly even though it was very busy for them. Result, a great lunch!

Ok, so we had just come out of the Rugby, but that doesn’t excuse this place for serving probably the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. They were busy, but that doesn’t excuse the woeful slow service, and jacked-up prices. I opted for the Twickenham Pizza after a good 40 minute wait. My other half and two friends with me opted for various pasta dishes. It was clear when the food arrived that the chef (term used loosely) has lost his passion. I had one mouthful of my pizza and sent it back. Base not cooked - raw in fact. Blando topping with one (yes one) piece of chilli on it, and all for the Princely sum of sixteen pounds. It was disgusting. Not wanting to wait for a replacement, I shared my other half’s chicken pasta. Oh dear. Not just oh dear, but really oh dear. On a plus-note, they didn’t charge for my pizza. But how do these places stay in business? Not a great atmosphere with people struggling to get in and out of their seats owing to packed-in tables.

I came here with my wife on Saturday for some lunch and we were mightily impressed. I had the Napolitano sandwich which had mozzarella, parma ham, sundried tomato and avocado and was delicious. My wife had pasta of the day (spaghetti with tomato sauce, parma ham and chilli) and it was also very tasty and spicy. Great quality food and good value. I would love to go back and try their dinner.

My 1st visit but will definitely be back. A friend and myself visited on a busy Saturday evening and were fortunately able to get a table straight away. The restaurant has a bit of a Tardis feel, seems small upon entry but has several different levels for dining. We were on the main floor and although it looked a bit cramped, we were very comfortable once seated.Service was excellent, just attentive enough without being overbearing.Food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced.Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went Sunday evening and it was very good. Pizzas are excellent and staff were friendly and efficient - a real pleasure. It has a very good layout over several floors.

Went here for lunch on a weekday - was pleasantly busy and had a really good meal. Had Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (very generous portion) followed by a quality pizza (just the right amount of toppings, very nice base and crust). Definitely returning again soon.

Have been here a few times. Food was always very good. But was very disappointed this time. I ordered the Calves liver. It was very chewy. Also the toilets were in a very poor condition. Unfortunately won’t be re visiting If the toilets are bad , doesn’t say much for the cleanliness of the kitchen

The menu seems to offer a decent amount of Italian dishes , but I was disappointed .The pizza was dried and overcooked , started had few ingredients missing and arrived at different time , the sea bass was tasteless and had a strange addition of vegetables , not the best Italian I had, considering there are many other options nearby .The decor is poor and no amex or contactless is accepted.Our waiter was polite but incredibly slow , drinks took ages to be made and at the end we gave up on puddings . Not going back .

Booked a table here for lunch before heading onto the rugby at Twickenham stadium. The only menu we were presented was the “Match day Rugby menu” which was a £45 set 3 course meal. Add the £8 gratuity per head then drinks and it starts to turn into a very expensive option for lunch. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the quality of the food justified the cost but the unfortunately it didn’t. This is classic example of a restaurant concentrating more on turning tables over then the quality of the food making it feel more like a fast food restaurant.I would look for other options before dining here

Rugby Dinner - Not sure where to start !!1 service : the waitress was ridiculous , messy and rude 2 food : pasta bland and tasteless , pizza inedible 3 drinks : waited ages to receive water into dirty glasses and served the wrong wine twice no apology but a laugh into our face from that "waitress"4 price : very expensive for all that crap and they put service charge on the bill, really?? We got cramped and seated on a dirty table , it was a mess , we could hear chefs shouting , waited ages to order and our waitress was terrible ! Never again !

10 gents for lunch. Few beers, set meal and red wine. Friendly and attentive staff who looked after us very well. My starter of bruschetta and tomatoes was very tasty. Lamb shank on mashed potatoes with rich gravy and tiramisu. All well cooked and tasty. Highly recommended

Lovely warm welcome. Staff are friendly an accommodating. Wasn’t particularly packed for a Saturday evening. What let it down was the quality of the food and the prices. Bruschetta was served soaked in garlic and oil. Difficult to eat and garlic overpowered the tomatoes as well as ruined the taste for all other courses to follow. The seafood risotto can only be described as tasteless with parts of it seemingly felt reheated. As for the ragu pasta, ragu usually melts in your mouth from the slow cooking process. This meat was in hard chunks and very difficult to chew. We felt let down by the new styleValentino’s and much preferred the food and prices for the previous Bellissimos

Bellissimo is a nice restaurant, slightly oddly laid out, but especially lovely in the summer when you can sit outside for lunch in the sun. The food is good, sometimes a little under-par. The aubergine parmigiana was huge for a starter and the flavour was strangled by the cheese. I have had the pizza and its good. And oddly the full English breakfast here is great. If you are looking for a haute cuisine take on Italian this is not the place for you, but if you just want some hearty pasta and pizza its pretty good.

If you like Italian food, especially their seafood dishes, and good pizzas, then this is the place for youWe live locally and have been promising ourselves to try out this restaurant, simply because it always looked so inviting from the outside. We were not disappointed - our meals were truly excellent, but best of all, the service we received from the delightful Lucy (Lucia) was top notch. This is a charming restaurant with its own unique ambiance and style - rather expensively priced, but with exceptional personable service and fresh, delicious and filling food.

What a great meal we had last night. Wonderful food and excellent wine. Many thanks Lucia for looking after us so we’ll.

Often driven pass this restaurant so my wife and 1 plus 2 friends decided to give it a try. We had a great evening and the fun and friendly service from Lucy (Lucia) was a great plus. My main of polpettine (filled pasta in a sage/butter sauce) was dry and stodgy and lacked any sign of a sauce however my wife's choice of seafood risotto was a roaring success. She declared it the best risotto she has had and put the difference down using a proper fish stock with the rice. There was also a generous portion of seafood with the dish. Our friends had a calzone gordo gel (enormous) and a pizza Lollobrigida which both were well recieved. The red house wine of Montepulciano Bis was the most expensive part of our meal at £18.95 a bottle.What's the the lesson learn't - let your wife order for you!

Stumbled on this after meeting friends for a drink, what a fabulous find. It was always a cafe but the owner converted it in February to a restaurant - very glad he did! The first time I went I had one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten (and I'm fussy), our second visit we tried the pasta and it rivalled, or bettered, some of the 5* restaurants I've eaten in. The waitress couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Just to tick all boxes it's unbelievably good value. It's going to be become a regular and they really deserve success. Oh yes - and don't be put off if it looks full, there are loads more seats upstairs.You won't be disappointed.

Following the Rolling Stones concert at Twickenham, we made an unscheduled visit to Vaentino's Bellissimo for supper, whilst the crowds of concert goers subsided. An excellent impromptu evening, good atmosphere, food & service

We wish we’d known about this fantastic Italian sooner. We ve lived in Twickers for 6 months and only just discovered it. This is now our favourite, excellent food, lots of it and at good prices. Very friendly staff as well. When I think of all our times in Italy, this is the real thing. Thanks so much.

The moment I arrived, the friendly and gorgeous hostess, Dee, gave perfect recommendations for the perfect red wine and a delicious fish dish that I was craving. (I know you should do white with fish, but whatever.)Loved the atmosphere and could imagine it would be full of energy on a busy night, this evening it was just myself and a few other diners. What I loved more than the spot-on recommendations, was the fact that Dee was very open to my comments on wishing I’d ordered a slightly healthier dish - by advising me they can make any dish healthier with a comment to add less sauce, or whatever. I’ve been missing this during my stay in England thus far.So, suffice to say, with a great variety of dishes to choose from, I’ll be back regularly with the confidence to add little notes to my order that won’t offend the chef. My experience was BELLISSIMO! Thank you!

Shocking attitude! We arrived at the restaurant after rushing back from the theatre to try the new refurbed restaurant! We got there at 10:10pm after checking the restaurant was open until 11:00, it wasn’t very busy. We were eventually approached by a waitress from the kitchen to be told ‘the restaurant is closed’! I said the internet states 11pm, ‘I’ll see what I can do’ and went back to the kitchen where I watched her talk to the chef and him shake his head! The answer I got was ‘we can do you a pizza cause the kitchen is now shut but the pizza oven is still hot!!!!!! If it were a speciality dish that we were after then maybe but this is an Italian, simple easy food, which clearly the chef couldn’t be bothered to turn on a stove once more.....Would not recommend this place purely because it seems the wage is more important than the returning customer!

We have frequented this restaurant over the last few years and have become regulars for breakfast/brunches as we live locally.Since it has been refurbished we have been in twice and the change in personnel is clear!New staff/team not nearly as welcoming as before (to the point where they were rude, in particular on Sun 25/03). Management don’t seem to have resource levels correct either, so service standards were really poor.Previously you were greeted upon walking in- these days (on both occasions) it’s a case of find a seat and we’ll come over when we’re ready.We had to walk up and get menus, when I asked if we could get service, I got an abrupt reply from the waitress, which I couldn’t understand because she was eating her breakfast at the counter and I clearly interrupted. Surely you could have breakfast before customers arrive, given you were open for 20-30 minutes already??When our order was taken the waitress didn’t write our order down and I knew then we were going to have errors. 15 minutes later our drinks arrived (and went back because one of them was wrong) Then when our food arrived we had to return 2 of the breakfasts as they weren’t done as requested. We requested food to be well done only to get sunny side eggs and not well cooked scrambled eggs. My 2 year old also had to settle with what was served up as I wasn’t sending his back because he was hungry by the time food finally arrived.We also pointed out that our food was missing sausage from the breakfast and the comment was something along the lines of; yes we know the kitchen doesn’t have any...no prior notice was given when ordering and I later saw a Chef walking in with 2 Waitrose bags (I wondered if they had sausage in them?)We paid full price for our food, which in itself is a bit of a joke. I come from a food background and always leave something for service because I’ve worked as a waiter before and understand the pressures it brings, but for the first time in a VERY long time I couldn’t bring myself to leave anything... service was THAT poor.Anyway, I don’t normally complain or rant on forums but I felt so compelled after this experience to share this, so that the team can step up and hopefully make the changes that get the business back to what it was.

We stopped at the Italian Caffe Bellissimo for lunch by chance and found it to be bellissimo!Our sandwiches were very tasty and the drinks well made. Service was efficient and very friendly.Unexpectedly the sandwiches were served with salad, which had dressing.  My companion dislikes salad dressing and so left the salad uneaten. One of the cafe owners noticed this and insisted on providing a new salad without dressing free of charge.

Following the England Wales game at Twickenham Stadium we were fortunate to be offered a seat at the Bellisimo restaurant. The service in a totally fall restaurant was still friendly and good, the food very pleasant and the atmosphere lively and buzzing.I would recommend this restaurant for post match eatery.

Last night we got to visit the newly refurbished Belissimo Italian Resteraunt/Bistro in Twickenham.The Bistro style resteraunt has had a full re-vamp, opening up the available space in an ingenious way, creating 4 levels of dining area with cosy mezzanine sections - all decorated with truly Italian Rustic charm.The new menu has something for everyone, from small tapas style plates to full fine dining classics, and a very good vegetarian selection and gluten free pasta is available.The portions are generous, and the starter platter we had was a feast for the eyes - indeed all of the dishes we saw were very well presented, with only the finest locally sourced (where possible) ingredients.The wine menu is a good selection of Italian regional classics, very reasonably priced.All of the staff are very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing and Lucy and her team are always happy to help.This is in our opinion one of the best Italian fine dining experiences we have had in Twickenham, and we'd recommend this little slice of Italy to anyone - weather you want a quick coffee during the day, or a full dinner, as we did.In summary, if going for dinner it is advisable to book - but best of all, take your time and savour this little slice of heaven - It's worth it!

Very poor. Met a friend for breakfast and the woman serving us was not overly friendly but not rude, not a bad start. The refit looks good but there were only a few other diners, so it surprised us that service was quite slow, but that was OK with us. We received our meal reasonably quickly once we'd ordered and we were asked if we needed anything else so we asked for sauce. After about 5 minutes of our food getting cold I had to get up and walk to the back of the restaurant to the kitchen to find out what happened with the sauce. The waitress held up a white bowl and said she was in the process of getting it and she would also bring the salt and pepper. We still had to wait another couple of minutes before she came. It left us wondering what it takes to put some brown sauce in a bowl. Meanwhile the food was cold, and rather average, but not horrible. After our meal we sat for about an hour chatting and the restaurant emptied of all other diners. We saw nothing of the waitress again and our dirty plates remained in front of us the whole time. The restaurant also became colder over time so we figured they'd turned the heating off to "freeze us out!" However, still no sign of the waitress! When we were ready to leave I called out to the back (I wasn't going to get up again to walk to the kitchen because I shouldn't have to) for our table to be cleared and for the bill. The waitress chastised me for calling out because the woman she had been chatting to at the time who heard me didn't work there and had to pass it on. I explained that I didn't want to come out the back again and that I shouldn't have to ask for service. She told me I was very rude because she was very busy!!!! There was no-one in the restaurant so I asked her what she was busy with and she said she had someone come in for a takeaway. I'm sorry but this doesn't sound like it would keep someone so busy for an hour that they don't even come out to clear the table or even check on us. I told her that I would give her some advice, diners like to have their dirty plates cleared so they can talk after a meal, and what if we wanted something after the meal? What if we wanted another coffee? The waitress very sarcastically thanked me for the advice, and then proceeded to complain to the other workers and/or friends who were out the back so they were all standing and staring through at us, whilst tittering to each other. I have to say this is the absolute worst service I have ever experienced and neither my friend nor I will ever go back!

We decided to eat in here on a Sunday at lunchtime. We both decided to have Spaghetti Carbonara. I am gluten free so asked for gluten free pasta. Although, I was charged an extra £2.00 it was not a problem. The Carbonara was really delicious, in fact, the best Spaghetti Carbonara I have had anywhere. The coffee was really good too. The staff were really friendly and very attentive. We love the decor of the restaurant too. Very authentic feel about it. We will definitely return very soon. Really enjoyed our lunchtime meal.

My wife and I visited for Valentine’s Day. We pre booked in advance. On arrival we were presented with the £39.50 Valentines menu with no other menu available. It would have been good if they told us when we booked that the Valentines menu was the only option. None of this was a major issue for us ( you kind of expect this on Valentines Day) so we carried on with the night as planned.The place was very quiet for Valentines Day. Many people came in and left without ordering, after seeing the menu. We were not so wise. The service was slow. We waited around 15 minutes to order. We were in the lower level and we appeared to be forgotten about. The food was not great and certainly not worth the price. The starters and puddings were mediocre. I had steak as a main course, it was not cooked the way I asked but to be fair it was tasty. It was accompanied by undercooked and cold potatoes with cold vegetables (they were not meant to be cold). My wife has a tiny piece of dry, overcooked sea bass. When we got the bill, they had the audacity to add a service charge. Overall we paid £98 for three courses and two soft drinks. We also got a glass of prosecco each.Overall, it was very bad value for money. I would not recommend.

We used to go here often because we only live 2min away but there seem to be new managers/owners after the refurbishment. The lovely waitress was not there when we went. Smokers kept going in/out causing a cold draft with smell of cigarette smoke. The tables under the mezzanine are just below the floor level. Disgusting to see shoes coming past all the time. Everything can land on your dish. The red wine was served too cold. The food was not good. The starter with buffala mozarella came with a chunk of soggy, tasteless tomato (it was about to go off). The bruschetta was very, very oily. The bill was incorrect with something on it that we never ordered. Very disappointed and upset that our favourite Italian closed for refurbishment and now re-opened but has gone downhill. We will not go back. A real pity, it used to be so nice.

Vi spiste 4 personer og fik både kød, pasta og pizza, samt efterfølgende dessert.Alt var godt og vi vil helt sikkert komme igen :)Det eneste problem var temperaturen, det var 2 grader udenfor og næsten ligeså koldt indenfor, så næste gang bliver nok når det er lunere udenfor.

I had a 4 Gustibus pizza and my husband a Valentino Burger and for starter a Pane e Olive Italiane (italian focaccia bread with marinated olives and balsamic oil dip) and for dessert we had Portuguese Custard and a Panna Cotta everything was amazing with a nice cappuccino caffé. The best lunch and good price! Definitely we are coming back the service was excellent!

Would not bother returning here. There are some good Italian restaurants in Twickenham and this is not one of them. Very average boring food. Service is not good either. Definitely give this one a miss.

After arranging a trip for the weekend for nine of us to watch England vs Argentina we decided it would be nice to grab a meal after the match. Knowing it would be busy in Twickenham we booked in advance. This is where we mistakenly chose Bellissimo Ristorante. Oh what a mistake!We phoned up to make the booking a couple of weeks in advance and then phoned again to pay the £5.00 deposit each, fair enough. All was good.Before the match my wife and some others did a scouting mission into the restaurant, as women do, to check our reservation and also if the food looked nice, the toilets were clean, there were no dead rats on the floor etc. Most had pre-decided from the menu on the window what they wanted. All was good.After the match we had a swift couple of pints in the local watering holes and turned up promptly at Bellissimo Ristorante. We were greeting by a scruffy looking chap who escorted us to our table. All was good.Then…. We were greeted with the “Rugby Menu”. This was an A4 piece of paper with watered down version of the main menu. The only difference was that the choice was less and the prices were about 50% higher. We told one of the staff that we didn’t want to eat off this menu but the main menu we read when we booked at which point she said she’d ask the chef. (The chef must make all the big decisions). She came back extremely unapologetic and in a condescending manner told us no, this is the “Rugby Menu” and that’s it. We pointed out that this wasn’t the menu we were told at the time off booking, but no joy. She then went on to say that everybody knows they change their menu on Rugby days. We’re from Wolverhampton, about 100 miles away, so I’m not sure this is the case. Did you know? You do now!After some abuse from the waitress (we stood our ground for the good of our nation) she eventually said we could have our deposit back and leave… I did check when we got home and looked at their online menu and….A) They do offer a Rugby menu online but nowhere does it say this is a replacement to the main menu. In fact it looks like it’s more of a special offer of £39.95 for three courses.B) The actual menu offered wasn’t the one in “A”. It was a watered down more expensive version of the main menu.C) At no point at the time of booking, and there were plenty of opportunities, did Bellissimo Ristorante inform us of a change in menu.Some may say it’s down to supply and demand. Others may say it’s taking advantage and a complete opportunistic rip-off. Take your pick but at lease ask them when you book.

We were in Twickenham for the Rugby but had been let down by the restaurant we had booked. We were passing Bellissimo and despite the pressure of the day they agreed to fit us in, despite the size of the party. Because it was match day there as only a fixed 3 courses menu but there as plenty of choice including fillet steak! Service was very good - efficient, fast and friendly. The food was very good and portion sizes more than ample.

Taken here one evening by friends who live locally, we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the welcome, the surrounding hubbub of people enjoying themselves and the food.....oh the food. Our party had A fungi risotto, a chicken pasta dish, a crayfish dish and I had calves liver. The liver, on a bed of spinach and mashed potato was simply divine! The other dishes were all given very positive comments.This restaurant appears small on entering but there is plenty of seating upstairs. The predominantly female staff on the night we visited were friendly, attentive and efficient, leaving nothing further to comment about!

Did read previous reviews before we went so we wondered how it would go! Had no reservation but staff accommodated us quickly. There were no issues with the staff at all. Very friendly and happy to advise on the food and the wine. Had the antipasti for 2 which had a lot of different meats but was missing any cheese. Quite a nice platter though. Tried the penne with chicken and mushrooms which was served absolutely burning hot and tasted good when it cooled enough to be able to eat it! Partner had pizza that he said was very nice. First glass of wine was fantastic, not sure the second was the same brand as it didn't compare. Service charge was automatically added which I don't like personally but at £80 for the two of us I suppose it's fair for London. It's an ok place for a regular meal out.

Regularly come hear for their full English breakfast, which is really cheap and good quality. It's a nice little place with a cosy atmosphere and a relaxed vibe. Looking forward to trying their proper menu and having some of the Italian food. It's always busy in the evenings so must be popular.

Outstanding Pizza..untouchable anywhere. Was with an American from New York ...who rates it as best has has ever eaten.. Have to agree. Book early before match at The Stoop.. Nice people too

A lovely meal, wonderfully cooked and presented. It is nice to find an independent restaurant serving traditional dishes. All very atmospheric inside too.

The mixed reviews suggest i might have been lucky. Been here twice for dinner and both times was highly impressed. I have eaten in msot good italain restaurants in London nad i think the crayfish pasta meal I had here is as good as anything I have had in London and Italy. My family were of a simialr view and my wife lived in Italay for a year. The anti pasta was also excellent and the chocolote torte/ cale I had was very good. I have also had takaay pizzas which were very good and as good as anything in the area. Negatives: Dont think the wine list is much cop and the house red is poor but second time avaoided that and the wine was ok . Upstairs a bit noisy with some rubbish music . Service is just ok so dont expect 5 star service. But I love this restaurant as the staff have character and the food is really really good and portions generous.

We popped in to Bellissimo for lunch, not really knowing what to expect as we were just walking past.It seems to be run by a really nice Italian couple, we were made to feel very welcome.The food we had seemed really fresh, pizza and pasta - both tasty, and what you would expect in a restaurant in Italy.There's an open kitchen which i always think is a good sign!It was really very reasonably priced - I think my pizza was £6!Will definitely be heading back and would recommend for lunch or dinner

Have walked past this restaurant with intrigue many times, we finally found the time to go for a romantic meal for the first time. Both being chefs we were very excited for some "real" Italian cooking. The style of the restaurant really made us believe it was something special but how wrong we were. Firstly, we walked in without a reservation, the restaurant was pretty much empty. We were half heartedly greeted by a scruffy waiter. We asked for a table for two and he kind of shrugged and nodded to a table by the window. Me and my partner both coming from 5* hotel backgrounds we have high standards when I comes to service. Being polite costs nothing. The attitude of this waiter really spoiled our meal. The food was half decent, calamari started came with a dead room temperature salad, simple food handling mistakes even a novice cook wouldn't make. How hard is it to keep things cold? Pizza I have to say were pretty good. The attitude of the waiter was the reason for this disappointing review. Didn't get his name but was wearing a dirty black shirt untucked and had dark hair and beard. I hope he will be warned and start putting in some more effort. Will not be returning. Waste of £35.

Ate here earlier this week, sat outside (despite the drizzle) and kept dry under the canopy. The food was superb. Mr W had a seafood pasta packed with prawns, mussels and langoustine, I had penne with the most gorgeous Italian sausage, broccoli and cream sauce, a green salad and roast potatoes - all cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Authentic Italian food and well worth a visit

Yo vengo aquí para el almuerzo la mayoría de los días, tiene una gran selección de ensaladas y sándwiches que son muy de alta calidad. Mi favorito personal es la pechuga de pollo, queso de cabra, aceitunas, pimientos y ensalada. Las porciones son grandes y en una muy buena relación calidad-precio - mi ensalada era de menos de 5 libras.

Me encontré con un amigo para almorzar aquí hoy (viernes) y estaba sentado promtply y preguntaron si me gustaría una bebida o algo para picar mientras espera. Cuando mi amigo llegó y llegó a pedir, la camarera era servicial en explicar los especiales diarios y acomodó mi petición de dejar un ingrediente de mi pizza. Cuando llegamos estaban pizzas bastante grande, cocinado a la perfección y con una cantidad perfecta de ingredientes.Sin duda, volvería, particularmente para probar su menú de la cena.

Aparecimos aquí después del Ejército y Partido de rugby navy. El restaurante estaba muy lleno, pero el servicio Safi era absolutamente increíble. Nos sentamos inmediatamente y a 5 minutos de nuestra orden había sido tomado - dentro de 10 bebidas y primer campo había llegado. La comida estaba riquísima y todo servido con una sonrisa hermosa. Gracias Safi - volveremos cuando en Twickenham el próximo.

Tengo que decir que este es uno de mis favoritos restaurantes en Londres, tienes que saber sobre buena comida tradicional italiana para apreciar lo que el dueño ha traído a Twickenham, en primer lugar debo decir bien hecho a este chico para todo el trabajo y diseño muy rústico auténtico hizo aquí. Su primera impresión cuando entras en le dará una cálida sensación romántica pero rústico de Italia, en segundo lugar, el servicio aquí es siempre muy profesional, pero el personal no están indecisos para una rápida charla. Platos increíbles que he sido cliente desde este lugar era una pequeña cafetería, sirven desayuno increíble, almuerzo también he estado 4 veces para cenar ahora y los ingredientes el chef utiliza bien. . Debo decir que el gusto y sabrá de lo que estoy hablando. . Guau. Uno de los mejores lugares de Londres. Todo el crédito va al propietario Alberto para llevar todo el éxito a este lugar por sus propios medios. Bien merecido. Gran lugar, buen café, increíble cocina italiana, bien recomendado uno de mis top 3 tan lejos en Londres. Yo soy un habitual aquí y permanecerá.

Belissimo was a 'go to' favourite local restaurant unfortunately the last two visits have been very disappointing and we won't be returning.Previously delicious and hand crafted pizzas have been dumbed down and burnt, calamari was not crispy and had no flavour or seasoning (at nearly £10 for a starter and now served with the cheapest tartare sauce I have ever had)Sadly the staff seem to have affected too (blonde lady a welcome exception) and service is curt and slow.Such a shame after a really great start. Empty tables on a Saturday night would appear to indicate others are voting with their feet too..

Vine aquí con mi novio y su padre y novia para catchup. El ambiente era precioso y muy pintoresco. El servicio era bueno y la comida era mejor. La comida llegó rápidamente y probado encantador. Yo estaba muy contento con mi visita.

I had an excellent breakfast here.The new special Valentino omelette was enough food to last the day.Very generous portions and good coffee.Service was a little slow and the waitress disinterested.Pleasant window seat with relaxed ambience.

I went with friends on a Sunday evening. The atmosphere was rustic and welcoming. The waitress was attentive and helpful. Food was hot, tasty and good portions. I would go back again if I was in the area.

I regularly attend Bellissimo and I can hands down say it is my favorite restaurant the value for money is astonishing and I've not once gone and felt disappointed.

He estado aquí un par de veces en días de rugby - que es muy conveniente para la estación y el suelo. La comida ha sido mediocre y pobre en ambas ocasiones con servicio de lo esperado, así como un menú limitado. I've been for lunch on Tuesday everything was perfect,,in this restaurant u can go everyday and still u have always reason,,,well done for service they always smiling and chatting whith costumers,,,we will definitely comeback

He comido aquí 3 veces para una cena y no me puedo quejar. Pasta y pizza increíble, gran servicio, un entorno precioso por dentro y todo a un buen precio. Llevé a mis colegas aquí para un desayuno temprano una mañana de viernes y la comida era todavía muy bien, pero el lugar estaba helada y nos sirvió bastante maleducado usando un chandal, no es el mismo ambiente. Decidimos darle una más, ya que la comida era tan buena (grasientos huevos fritos, ninguno royale y una increíble huevos revueltos, salmón ahumado y salsa holandesa ciabatta). La próxima vez era horrible y no he vuelto desde entonces. Era el mismo hombre de mal humor grosero, tan fría por dentro, pero esta vez la comida no fue incluso preparado! Mi ciabatta no había sido tostado, sin salsa dentro y había un bulto frío de congelación tirado dentro del sandwich mozzarella directamente de la nevera, ni siquiera un intento de liberar. Los otros desayunos eran tan decepcionante, no hicieron ningún esfuerzo en absoluto, no estoy seguro de que quiera volver para cenar después de eso.

En nuestra primera visita, mi marido y yo tuvimos pasta que era agradable aunque el servidor no era lo suficientemente atento disfrutar diciendo "corta" mientras que lejos de nuestra mesa.Visitamos una segunda vez y nos comimos lasaña. . . mala elección. Lasaña de queso estirado topping había quemado y qué no era quemada gomosos. Parecía que era alta en zapped rápidamente dejando el poco medio todavía frío. Yo estaba esperando para el servidor para pedir nuestros comentarios sobre la comida al final pero los platos eran simplemente rápidamente recogidos en silencio.Para futuros visitantes lasaña ordenar, preguntar si es fresco y se niegan a tenerlo si es quemada. O quizás algo más.

Visité este lugar ayer. La comida era muy buena, el personal era amable. Tuve vegetariana ravioles, mi novio cordero para principal y antipasti para entrante. Compartimos flan además de pistacho helado para el postre. Todo estaba muy rico y pasamos un buen rato. Pagamos 67 libras, lo cual me parece que es un buen precio (también teníamos 2 cervezas, una botella de agua con gas y 1 simple expreso hasta bebida). Volveré de nuevo.

Una comida muy normal bistec con amigos. Pedimos vino y no podíamos ver la botella o ver que en realidad había sido derramado la botella completa como fue comprobar derramado en nuestros vasos. Este fue el único peor una camarera agresiva que quería discutir por qué no quieren pagar el servicio automáticamente añadidos, parece que esto no era opcional.

Encontramos este lugar por casualidad la primera vez y ahora son un punto de venir. No reserve y siempre llegamos. Tiene un menú del día de rugby y la comida es muy buena. El lugar es maravillosamente rústico, personal amable y siempre un buen ambiente, pero para ser sinceros, una habitación llena de fans del rugby inglaterra es siempre va a ser bueno. Estar metida en la axila un desconocido en el Cabbage Patch es divertido, pero a veces poder sentarse y comer con un poco de espacio para movernos es el billete. I have been 30 years working in catering business this place is magic and the service so friendly, it is a Piccola Italia in the heart of twichenham, the food is nice honest and homemade, I would recomended to everybody!!!!

We always wanted to try this place every time we tried could never park. This time parked a 10 mins and walked. The service was a bit havoc, I think they had a side door and were serving takeaways making the only waiter busy. But the food was good in fact was one of the best ragu sauce I have had for a long time.Will most return

Walked in at Bellissimo we been told food is amazing,so we Thote let's try out but very disappointed the sea bass very blend and no flavour,my friend had duck but the sauce it was horrible it look like it has been siting there for days and no fresh,very dirty toilet nearly to fall a part,we would never go back and I would not recommend,at all and from the previous reviews that's is no way Italian or place for a good meal out.
