Zizzi - Hampton Court in Richmond upon Thames

We ate as a family of four. The waitress was excellent, she was very attentive and could see we had young children. She did everything possible to make the meal a stress free experience. Brilliant service and great food. We will return

I have been to this Zizzi many times and it is always a pleasant experience. We went just before Xmas and it was especially nice with the Christmas decorations. There were also fewer children which made it easier to talk as the noise volume was lower and my friend is hearing impaired so this can be challenging for her. The toilets could be better, they need a revamp so the same level of attentiveness is given to other areas of the customer experience. Beata served us and she was absolutely lovely. Very smiley, and attentive. She was warm, friendly, and efficient. She is a credit to the Zizzi team! The food was delicious as always. I would have preferred more pine nuts on my pizza as there were only 4 or so on there though.

I got to say, I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but living nearby in West Molesey, I thought me and my friend should go here to have dinner. The calamari was tasteless with no flavour or salt in the batter whatsoever. The vegan cheese was like cream that made the pizza soggy. I ordered extra mushrooms as a topping (the only topping) and the pizza came out with 5 small pieces of mushroom. The only half decent bit was the ice cream. Spend your money elsewhere. I’d rather go Pizza Express any day.

Gluten free pizzas are safe for coeliacs, thank you Zizzi for providing these and the dairy free pizza. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about cross contamination etc. my confidence in them meant we booked a table for 11, with one coeliac person.

We had our work Christmas dinner at Zizzi Hampton Court and just wanted to say how wonderful the ladies who served us were. Lola, Andrea and Layla didn’t stop smiling all night, were super helpful, the food was delivered really promptly and tables cleared quick. Nothing was too much trouble. They really added to the lovely atmosphere of the evening.

We hadn’t booked a table, however we were given a friendly welcome and seated. Menu choice was good and orders were taken quickly. I had the rainbow lasagne which was tasty but so hot and I had to wait a while for it to cool down to eat it. Service was good with lots of staff.

We booked a table for today as a treat after visiting Hampton Court Palace. We arrived and stood waiting for a while before someone asked us to wait a little longer. When we were finally shown to a table, it was right next to the hatch for the dirty plates and next to the toilet. We asked if we could move to another table and were told by a very unfriendly member of staff that there were clearing up. There was no hint of warmth from her or an offer to sort the other table out for us. At that point we didn't want to spend any money at this restaurant so decided to leave. Wish we'd booked Pizza Express now.

The manager was also lovely - we are local and eat here a lot and it does make a difference! Way better than any Zizzi restaurant we have visited recently. Food was alright, manager who greeted us in green dress was lovely. Let down by the fact they don’t make it clearer it’s cash less other than a small sign… won’t be going Zizi’s anymore if they don’t accept cash… embarrassing… alienating customers who work in the trade, total bill £200… will spend that elsewhere.

We ordered the margarita pizza well done. It was absolutely amazing. Layla our server was the only thing better!! We also dipped it in Caesar dressing which gave it a wonderful flavor. Trust me I've been all over the world and this is the best well done pizzas I've ever had in England.

Such a pity as we have been coming to zizzi for years. On Sunday evening we decided to try and get a table for 7 of us as we were treating friends for dinner but it was a complete disaster. We waited an hour and 10 minutes for the food and with three small children, this was carnage. By the time our food arrived, theirs had been finished ages ago. The food wasn’t amazing to say the least. The waitress was lovely but so stressed and working on around 10 tables so clearly short staffed. Eventually after we called her over to order dessert she disappeared and we sat again waiting for dessert only to eventually ask where it was and for them to say they’d run out o f the specials menu dessert but no one had actually bothered to come and tell us this so we sat waiting oblivious to this fact and having to then find something to order again as it was part of the special. When we then tried to pay for the bill, we then couldn’t add a tip onto it and were told it’s a new pro esss where we can only pay cash if you want to split the bill?? Which doesn’t really make sense? Luckily we had cash on us to give her a tip as I felt so sorry for how tired and stressed she was. We have always come to zizzi, I am part of the zillionaires club which I didn’t even bother using and don’t think we’ll go again which is so sad as it is right on our doorstep.

Lovely meal with the family & great service!

We popped into Zizzis last night for an impromptu dinner with family. We waited an hour for our meal. Manager never came to apologise or explain the wait. Tables that sat after us got food before us. Seemed to be understaffed and our sweet waitress looked to be serving over 10 tables at once! And to say the pizza was underwhelming is an understatement. Scant toppings, thin dry slices of mushroom, tiny pieces of pepperoni and three slices of ham! This on an £18 pizza! Dessert was amazing and saved the evening. Won’t be coming back.

Fantastic service! Have always had a great service at a Zizzi’s restaurant however Hampton Court is in another league! They set the standard! Thank you to Anita, Inna, Eban and all the staff! You’re amazing! Look forward to seeing you soon :)

We wanted to have a drink, and the waitress said that we can't have a drink if we don't also order food 😁. Which seemed bizarre to me, because every time we were not asked for such a thing. And what we had to order was circled in the menu and all started from 15 lira a portion. 🤦 So I left and left her alone 😀😀

This is the best Zizzi we've been to in London. We were greeted by the lovely manager, who made sure we had a lovely table. The highlight of our lovely experience here was the food and Inna. Inna made sure we were content at all times. She also helped us capture our memories at the restaurant. We were blown away by the food. It was lovely on the taste buds and well presented. We highly recommend this place for a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would also recommend it if you're celebrating something as the staff will make sure you have a great time.
