Visited with my son for dinner. We had the pepperoni pizza and carbonara. Very well cooked. Extremely tasty. Great atmosphere and setting. Super attentive staff. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Food and Great Service!

Service was good and a lovely setting but so disappointed with the food. Pizza over cooked. Risotto was tasteless and two different riosotto dishes were the same. Rice was hard and bland. Overpriced meal. Won’t be returning. A place to miss.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. The food was delicious and served hot . Being an Italian restaurant it did come up to expectations . Perhaps a bit overpriced starters but very happy with quality ,mains and dessert . The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was nice. The Christmas decorations were very tasteful. Perhaps the music should have been a bit louder as we could hear other people ‘s conversation. All in all , Ornella and the other lady were ver friendly . Apologies to Ornella for insisting on finding my lipstick 💄! I thought I ‘d left in the toilet but turned up in my bag later ! Thank you so much for trying to help 😊 Happy New year you! P

Delicious food in fantastic surroundings

We had our work Christmas meal here and had a brilliant time - everyone was very impressed. The food, staff and service were amazing. We all really enjoyed our evening and the Bushy Park deer even made an appearance at the window - perfect :-) Thank you everyone at La Fiamma, you are phenomenal, we will be coming back :-)

I was expecting more from this Italian place but it disappointed me. I thought it was supposed to be a quiet elegant atmosphere, instead kids were left roaming around tables and being loud. Food was way overpriced for what they offer. Very basic. Parmezan wasn’t served with the pasta, I had to ask. And they put it for you, they dont even leave it on the table as a proper Italian restaurant does. High service charge that they add automatically to your bill. Overall, not going to be back here! Nothing Italian about this place

Lovely restaurant which seems very quiet most of the time. I think weekends are busy. In fact I hadn’t been here for many years. It’s quite difficult to park nearby but it’s a short walk from Bridge Road Hampton Court where you can park quite easily. Food was exceptional and the servers were lovely. Really attentive and the restaurant looks so pretty at the moment with Xmas lights etc. Definitely worth a visit. The tortellini was amazing and the garlic bread. All our dishes were lovely but my sisters pasta with salmon was very salty.

Had a group of 20 people dinner in the restaurant. Lovely staff, so friendly. Food was amazing, i loved the pasta and pizza and so christmasy vibe with lights. Very close to Hampton court palace as well. Definitely recommended and going back again.

Todo estaba bien hasta que nos atrevimos a responder que una de las comidas no era buena: Una comida tenía calamares que eran demasiado masticables para comer. La camarera simplemente se jodió la cara y no dijo nada cuando se lo dijimos mientras limpiaba los platos. Luego, el personal más veterano de la casa se acercó (después de una consulta en la cocina) con un calamar crudo en una bandeja, para informarnos de que la comida tenía calamar bebé y el 'chef' había estado cocinando calamares durante 30 años para que sepa lo que está haciendo! ¡Entonces se volvió y se alejó! Ninguna disculpa en absoluto, ni siquiera ningún reconocimiento o aceptación de que el cliente no lo había disfrutado. Aceptamos que podríamos haberlo mencionado antes, pero la persona que tenía el calamar no quería interrumpir la comida de todos los demás. El costo de la comida dudosa fue retirado de la factura al final, pero solo después de que me quejé de su actitud! 3 of 4 meals were good. One had issues but the management did not accept that, instead they argued that the chef knows how to cook and never apologised at all: they just walked off!!!. Unbelievably poor attitude, and in this industry!!!! It was the attitude of the 'chef' (who was actually signalling to get us out of the place (!!) and senior front of house that was just so wrong. If you go here, don't dare to feedback on the food as they don't like it!

We had a Lovely meal here last night. My calzone was very good, better than expected (as in some restaurants they can be pretty poor), my son really enjoyed his seafood ravioli.

Very good. We had two pizzas. The waitresses are very kind and professional. We went there on a Saturday, it was very very noisy though. But nice atmosphere inside. We will come back to this.

Been eating her for good few years. Our last meal was very disappointing. I couldn’t eat my bolognaise as it was so salty. I did tell the staff as they took my over half full plate away. There was no comment or apology and no concession re the bill. They could have at Least taken our bottle of water off the bill. At £5.00 This wasn’t the first time this has happened. So disappointed as it’s made us think twice about going. It was more the lack of care or interest from the staff that the inedible meal that was disappointing.

Been there couple of times and once they said they have dress code because I was with the kids and they didn’t let us in so if you’re planning to go with kids avoid this place . GL

Went here again after much too long a gap. An excellent selection of Italian wines and authentic Italian cuisine - why don't we dine here more often? No explanation - relaxed but attentive service - an art so many get wrong

Called in recently for a family Sunday lunch. After being given a warm welcome, we were served a superb meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be back soon.

Lovely to arrive at 6.30, fab service lovely staff, food starters were fab. Time to order pudding…. Erm waited, tried to ask to order, gave up managed to ask for bill… no check by presumably the owner as to how our meal was just bill and machine!!! Shame as we’d had a fab evening until then. Needs more staff as it gets busier but sadly I wouldn’t recommend- disappointing end to the evening

We ate here last night as part of my wifes 40th birthday celebrations to hampton court palace. All i can say is this place is amazing, and put the cherry on top of an amazing day. The food was out of this world good. I had the duck special starter which was mind blowing. Ive never tasted food this good in my life. Then onto the mains and we had the fillet stake and again mind blowing. And the pana cota at the end was to die for. The staff, were friendly, welcoming, attentive and just on it and i can not fault them in any way at all. Then there is the setting which is beautiful and welcoming, with the most amazing views of bushy park. We traveled from dover in kent for this celebration and i would not hesitate to do it again in a heart beat if it meant we could come and enjoy a meal here again. Thank you for making our night.

The atmosphere in the old wood-panelled room is great and the view through to Bushy Park is lovely on a sunny evening. For us, the food and service didn’t match the £70+ per head price tag. The scallop starter was underwhelming - small scallops and average salad. We both chose pasta mains from the Daily Specials board and both were good. I especially enjoyed the swordfish pasta with olives. Dessert was disappointing. We shared a Mascarpone Crepe which was nicely presented but lacked the wow factor. The service was minimal. No checking if everything was okay, no pouring wine - just delivering food and the bill. This a good restaurant but there are lots of others in the area at this price point who are delivering a better experience.

Wonderful restaurant excellent food noisy

I strongly suggest steering clear of making reservations here. The awful and discourteous service I faced when attempting to order drinks outside was disappointing. Initially, our order was taken, but then a rude staff member approached us, stating that the establishment had specific rules prohibiting serving drinks and coffee without food, without providing any clear explanation. Having frequented this place last year, it seems the management has lost interest in enhancing their service and has forgotten the essence of hospitality.

I do not normally write reviews but I feel this place definitely deserves one. My first time in the area with some friends on Monday evening and we found this authentic Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and very filling. The waitress was attentive and very welcoming despite us not having a reservation. She made sure we had a lovely evening. La Fiamma I will definitely be back!

It had been recommended by a few and love Italian food so booked it for a special occasion. The location is lovely and our table was facing a window overlooking at Bushy park. The food menu was mainly pasta (which I love) and the options for kids were good too. My issue was really the fact we found a hair in my daughters food and y when I told the waitress she replied saying all cooks were hairnets, took it away and changed it. There was no an apology or any sign of being embarrassed by presenting a plate of food with hair on it !!! Never mentioned again, I was disappointed and continued my meal but understandably didn’t enjoy it as much due to this experience. All in all very disappointing service and although the food had potential to be great, the hair in my daughters food and lack of apology or acknowledgement dampen our experience.

This place took my breath away, from the food to the atmosphere. The staff made us feel so welcoming and the food is sp delicious. I will be visiting this place again and again.

The menu is quite standard for an Italian but it was clear that the food was homemade, fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were perfect, generous without being too much and pricing is fair. Overall, the fantastic service we received which was practised yet Personal really left us feeling like we’d had a great meal and would return. Definitely! Thank you for a nice meal La Fiamma.

La Fiamma is a restaurant that you can always depend on. I've been going there for many years, ever since the current owners have worked there. I was there last week with a group of friends and, as ever, the food was of a very high standard - lovely and fresh and delicious. The service is excellent with attention paid to detail so that you can truly relax and enjoy the meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant itself is always spotlessly clean and inviting with lovely views over Bushy Park. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend La Fiamma to others and indeed have done so many times.

tonight was the second valentines day that I have come to this lovely restuarant with my husband. The service and food is always fantastic. I love the atmostphere as well. It is our favourite local restuarant.

Visited this restaurant with friends for lunch. A lovely place which overlooks Bushy Park and we were made to feel very welcome. The Italian home made pasta was excellent as was the Crepa Al Mascarpone dessert with chocolate sauce and Ice cream. I shall certainly visit again and recommend to friends.

I had a wonderful meal in this friendly and welcoming restaurant. The food was delicious, the ambience charming, and the view of Bushey Park is Reilly special. We were told the deer come to the windows in the summer, but be warned- you’re not allowed to share your lunch with them, I’ll be visiting again soon.

I went to La Fiamma for lunch with a group of friends last week. I will definitely be returning. The hostess was most welcoming and looked after us so well. The food was excellent - three had risotto, one had pasta and I had pizza. We shared a bottle of wine. Two of us had crepes which were beautifully presented and my friends said were delicious. The setting is wonderful - large French windows opening directly onto Bushy Park with railings, perhaps to stop the deer looking in closely in summer! I have been recommending La Fiamma to other friends since that visit and am already planning a return visit.

I am very surprised seeing 1 star reviews for La Fiamma! We have been going there for 2 decades now for family celebrations. We visited last week for my father in law 75th birthday dinner and it was great! The food was amazing and cooked like in Italy, which is what one wants from an Italian restaurant. We had seafood risotto and a seafood pizza. Both were great, as usual. House red wine was a very palatable wine from Umbria. It was nice to see the same staff working there over the years. And the location is fantastic - overlooking Bushy Park.

Take care that they do not allow you to enter unless you have a "proper dress code" whatever this means. We were allowed to visit the castle but we were not properly dressed for this restaurant apparently

A lovely birthday meal with my wife and some friends, food (as always) was super tasty, the ladies enjoyed several cocktails and the wine rounded off a fabulous experience. Highly recommended as a great restaurant with atmosphere.

I had a truly awful experience while attempting to make a reservation at this restaurant, all thanks to the unhelpful and downright rude manager I encountered on the phone. My attempt to make a reservation at this restaurant was a nightmare, primarily due to the manager's horrible and unhelpful attitude on the phone. It's astonishing that a she is in the hospitality industry could be so discourteous and uninterested in assisting potential customers. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against dealing with this establishment in any capacity. It's clear they have a long way to go in terms of providing decent customer service.

We love how this place is always so calm & chilled. The tables overlooking the park are glorious. A super wine list. Delicious food. Good service. What more do you want!

I've been here a few times now and overall, the food is good quality, the staff are pleasant and service speedy. Definitely worth a try. I've only ever been for dinners but imagine it is just as good for lunch!

Dropped in here last night for dinner on the way home. Although it was very quiet (as you might expect late on a Tuesday evening in November) it still had a good atmosphere. Food was excellent - not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and greate location. Also note that it serves proper Italian food - many of the staples that you would have to search hard for in certain other "Italian" restauants in the area. So if you want your fill of tricolore, stinco or tiramisu, this is the place for you.

I came for dinner last night and I want to say that it was excellent. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Personally I fully recommend the veal and I know my partner loved her pasta. 5 stars, well done. I will be back for sure :)

I was so disappointed on my last visit here. I’ve been eating at this restaurant on and off for years. I think they must have changed hands as the food was mediocre and the service was ok. It used to serve food made with care and attention and this time I paid £13 for 3 prawns on a bed of soggy salad and watery garlic sauce. The service was ok but slightly underwhelming and it wasn’t even busy. Such a shame as this used to be one of the best Italians. I won’t be returning.

I visited this restaurant last night. The place itself is beautiful and they where welcoming. I had the mozzarella, tomato and avocado to start which was not worth 10.50. For main I had the special pasta and the chicken risotto. It was so salty that we could not eat it at all. No one asked if our meal was okay, only when clearing I mentioned that we couldn’t eat the food. No one said anything and they didn’t seem to care. It was £100 not worth spending at all and wouldn’t go back again.

Lunch visit on a Tuesday for four. One other table occupied by three people. No set menu. Starters were shared as garlic prawns were £14.95 and Calamari £12.95 or thereabouts. Prawns numbered 4 ie £5 a prawn. Calamari were thin rings, really thin, plonked on a plate. Starters vastly overpriced. Rossoto mains were good. First bottle of wine left on table with no cooler, second bottle we were given the cooler. Service was pleasant enough but whole experience underwhelming and for £199 disappointing. Been before in the evening when busy but bearing in mind there were only 7 diners at lunch would have hoped they put in more effort. Won't be returning but will go back to Mute Swan or Mezzet on Bridge road. Not terrible but the whole experience underwhelming. Best bit was the sleeping deer outside the restaurant.

The food has always been good though the plates are always way too hot which makes it hard to even move it after the waiter places it on the table. The service could improve as last time I was there we waited a while before anyone coming to the table and almost 20 minutes waiting for tap water. It’s overall a very good place with a nice view. Just wish they could improve the service.

We had read various reviewsa about this place, many of which were not complimentary. People commenting about dress code, attitude of staff, price, portion size etc. We therefore decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt and go with an open mind. We're so pleased we did. The staff were very friendly, the portions were generous and for the money we thought it was very good value. We had dressed up as it was a birthday so we were not challenged on any dress code. All in all, we had a lovely time and would recommend this restaurant.

Went to this restaurant yesterday for my brother’s birthday. I was a bit hesitant initially since there are a couple of negative reviews on Trip Advisor. Our meal was absolutely superb! All of them !! There were five of us. For starters I had Tricalore, my brother had the scallops, can’t remember the other starters but they all looked fab. My pasta (Pasta di Granchio) was perfectly cooked, I was married to an Italian who owned a restaurant so I am very, very fussy about my pasta. All our starters, and mains were perfectly cooked and presented. The restaurant is comfortable and stylish, overlooking Bushy Park. Our waitresss, was friendly and efficient. Thank you for making our day special. Very much appreciated and I am sure we will be back

Seemed nice at first, nice setting, service really poor non attentive, and when we questioned one of the quality of the meals, waitress became confrontational and not professional. We said we were just giving feedback, so paid in full never to return. Where as the English manners and etiquette gone. Shame

Amazing views over the park. Food was okay, but a bit expensive for what it was.

There is something odd about this place, which is a shame as it has so much potential. The food is pretty good… but as others have said, the need to say it’s “smart casual” is odd and unnecessary (given the ambience and place). The service is adhoc - some of our servers were lovely but others were poor (the fact we had several says it all). Next, the food is served FAR too hot - especially for children. They don’t accept AMEX, they refuse to provide WI-FI… not great in a mobile dead spot… and lastly, the acoustics kill the place. There are so many hard surfaces that it is like eating amongst a gaggle of geese… probably OK when less busy, but when full it is insufferable. They should carpet the ceiling or under the tables as restaurants claiming to be “fine dining / smart casual” do.

Friends and I had an amazing meal here. Italian food at it's best, lashings of red wine, superb setting overlooking Bushy Park and good service.

Had a fabulous meal early evening so quiet but that's just what we wanted. Amazing setting just on the side of Bushey Park.

Not impressed at all with this restaurant. We ordered calamari fritti and a garlic bread for starters only to receive about seven rings for twelve pounds, for mains we got two calzoni ai fungi (the only type available) and a quattro stagioni. Both calzoni had a hole in the middle where I presume they had attempted to pour some sauce on top with a failure as the calzoni were almost empty. Service was ok but not once were we asked how our food was, so we didn’t feel the need to express our thoughts on the food. 12.5% service charge added on top as if the food wasn’t overpriced already! Definitely would not recommend, there are plenty of other better options around.

Yet another lovely meal. We tend to come here for all our celebrations, yes we save up a bit for it but its more than worth it! We have always felt welcome and the service is always friendly but not pushy. Our 4 children love the food, veiw of the park and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. 4 children no matter how well behaved can be a little hard to manage at a resturant espeacailly as our 2 boys have ASD. But we have never felt awkward or judged here. I was shocked to see so many negative reviews espeacailly around dress code. We aren't 'posh" and don't dress overly smart, but this is a resturant not the kind of place that I'd even think of turning up to in my gym kit. Give it a try you really won't regret it!

I am a regular at La Fiamma and it is the best restaurant in town. This family run restaurant that looks over bushy park is an elegant and high quality restaurant. The food is the best and we are truly lucky to have it right by our doorstep. You must visit them if you are in the area.

Sheila was an amazing server( and pretty too :) ) .it was quiet she still made sure everything was the best it could be. the special Capriolo was a great dish. the Venison was sooooo tender and flavourful. if the dish wasn't so darn filling I'd stay there all day. great drinks, great food and astounding service.

On a Saturday afternoon after a lovely walk around Hampton Court I was looking forward to going to this restaurant as I love Italy, I am an older woman and had a coat, blouse, trousers on. Was so upset when I was not allowed in...
