I couldn't find an individual Prezzo listing on trip advisor for this branch but the manager is absolutely awful. We went in on a Friday night without reserving. She told us to sit and wait and she would be with us shortly. So we sat. We waited. She didn't tell us how long the wait would be and when we tried to ask her, she ignored us or rushed to another table. The restaurant was obviously short-staffed but that's no excuse for not giving the customers information. I have worked as a waitress a few years back so was appalled by how rude she was. When we tried to ask her again, she snapped at us. A new waiter arrived at the restaurant for his shift, he spotted us and walked immediately to another table to take their food order. She finally snapped at us that we would be seated now. Fed up, we walked out and into the Pizza Express down the road, where both the service and food was fantastic. The manageress should be ashamed- I only wish I'd got her name so I could mention it specifically on here. Just as good service should be rewarded, bad service should be flagged up, especially when it comes from someone in a managerial position. IF IN STANMORE, AVOID. There are other, better chains. Such a shame as I normally love the food in Prezzo.

We went to Prezzo on a Saturday at 7pm. The restaurant was almost empty (about 4 tables occupied) so when they showed us to our table (a 2 seater table) we asked whether we could sit at the booth table (for 4) and were told that the tables were ALL reserved. we were a little surprised as it was prime time and as mentioned earlier, the restaurant was almost empty. 30 minutes passed and although a few more parties arrived, the restaurant was still quite empty (photos attached). To cut the story short, by the time we left (past 8pm) there were still well over ten 4-seater tables that were empty so I can only assume that the staff were lying as they could not be bothered to change our table.

My wife and I went for dinner here, the couple beside us complained that the bottled water that was served to them was warm and the glasses where dirty, the waiter didn't want to listen to what they had to say and argued with them, to the point they got up and walked out. This frustrated me, It was such an easy fix to replace the bottle of water and glasses and was completely unnecessary to upset them and to argue with them. THIS GUY NEEDS TO GET SOME TRAINING AND NEEDS TO DROP THE ATTITUDE !!!

Went to Prezzo with a group of friends and having heard positive views about the place was looking forward to it. Started with the mixed starter to share - for £19.99 there was a selection of meat, 'Italian Hummus', crab balls, squid, olives & fried mozzarella. Being told it would be good for 4 it certainly wasn't. Everythng was average. I also tried the lamb ravioli, which tasted overwhelmingly of mint. It doesn't work. My main was the lasagne and it was the worst lasagne I have ever eaten in any restaurant. Two layers, liquidised meat, flavourless - in fact the ready meal lasagne from Tesco is better then this. Also tried the king prawn spaghetti and whilst the prawns were fresh the sauce was too sweet, a sign sugar had been added. No dessert but they have no clue how to serve a single espresso. Ther service was poor and the Prosecco overpriced but not too bad. Overall this is a poor excuse for an Italian restaurant.

Nice décor, not very busy with customers. Both my husband and I had king prawns in tomato sauce with chilli and garlic with spinach – very nice but not enough bread. My chargrilled chicken fungi with house fries was too burnt and chicken dry but sauce nice (I previously had this complaint but thought I’d give it another go unfortunately), one of the group also had chargrilled chicken with a different sauce and had the same complaint. House fries were nice.My husband had Pizza vesuvio – looked good on arrival but disappointing on quality.5 starters, 5 mains, bottle wine, 3 bottles beer and 1 litre sparkling water came to approx. £30 per person including tip. Portion sizes could be more generous.Used Tesco Clubcard vouchers, otherwise not worth the money, told vouchers not accepted on Saturday but I insisted as I had already phoned the restaurant to check and the voucher stated valid Monday to Sunday. Eventually sorted.

Situated in Mill Hill Broadway, near the roundabout Mill Hill circus. We were a party of 11, there for a birthday celebration. The restaurant has a smart modern décor. The food was well presented and delicious, when it arrived, but unfortunately the evening was spoilt by the staff. The initial waitress who took the drinks order disappeared, or went off duty. The food order was taken by a different waitress, and arrived spasmodically. Getting attention of the staff was nigh on impossible, and required 3 personal visits to bar area, where the staff remained oblivious to our needs, or the needs of other diners, despite the restaurant being half empty. It is a shame that the management are unaware of the indifference of the staff. Disappointed Cannesdid surfingsyd

The food is like any other Prezzo, the service can be really slow at times, I normally end up walking up to ask for the bill or something!

Food was average but the service was poor. Plenty of staff visible but somehow failed to cope with a half full restaurant...other Prezzo's are much better.

Worst service I've experienced in many years. Made all the worse by the fact that there were as many staff as there were tables in the nearly empty restaurant. Staff were totally indifferent to our presence in their establishment.Food average for the money. Definitely worse quality and smaller portions than it used to be.Another reasonable mid-priced chain bought out from the original owners and totally destroyed.

We have tried various branches of Prezzo, this evening was our first visit to the Mill Hill branch and we wish we had gone elsewhere!! The restaurant was pretty empty so we chose a table located on a slightly raised level and we were the only table occupied in that area for the duration of our meal. Aside from initially taking our order and bringing over the food, no one bothered to come to ask if everything was ok, if we needed any addition drinks etc or to even check if we'd finished our main courses and wanted our desserts (the kids had the set menu). After unsuccessful trying to flag down staff on 3 occasions I looked over to the bar to find 6 staff members all huddled together having a chat and drinking coffee!! At this point I was pretty annoyed and just walked over and asked if I could get some service over at my table. The look I got from the waitress made me feel like I was being a nuisance or inconveniencing her!The last straw was when we asked the only waitress left (everyone else had disappeared except for another bar staff) if we could get our bill to which she replied "Yes I'll get it in a minute", that was the longest minute I've ever experienced!! She continued to put candles on ALL the tables in the restaurant AND LIGHT THEM!!! Again I had to leave my table to find her and ask again if we'd be likely to get our bill anytime soon, she did bring us our bill after putting candles on a further 2 or 3 tables.Needless to say we did not pay service charge!!This was our second awful experience at a Prezzo in recent months and have come to the conclusion that service at all Prezzo restaurants have gone completely downhill, unfortunately I don't think we'll get the opportunity to be proven wrong as we've decided that this would be our last visit to this restaurant chain. Quite sad as the food is actually quite decent and if it were not for this I'd have given them a 1 star.

I visit regularly, it isnt cheap but for the standard of food and service I believe it is worth it. The decor is lovely and the restaurant is warm and welcoming. The menu is extensive. i recommend the pollo carbonara from the al forno section but I do wish portions could be a little more generous. On a previous visit my boyfriend was hungry even after desert..The manager is always incredibly polite and friendly, remembering my regular order.

Went here for family dinner as its a local restaurant. Unfortunately the service deflated our evening. Food was fine with good crunchy mozzarella in carozza, and good value prosecco. Can't understand why the service was so poor. Restaurant was not full, we were seven people spending a decent amount of money, so no excuse. Looks like they've given up in this franchise.

Went in here on a night that was pretty empty, my partner has to sit with a wall behind him, so we pointed to a table we liked, and was told that was for only for five people, I pointed out that there was only two people on the other tables which were the same and was told that the one we wanted was reserved, we reluctantly took another table and ordered drinks, after ten minutes we noticed the table we wanted was still empty so my partner asked another waitress could we move there and she said yes that's fine, within 1 min of us moving the other waitress had come over and told us again to move as this table was reserved, with much embarrassment we moved back and my partner then said we would just pay for our drinks and leave, she then changed her tune and offered us the table we had wanted anyway, we of course refused, she then said to have the drinks on the house for the confusion she had caused, we also refused that and paid the drinks bill and left....We went to Prezzo in Stanmore and had great service and a great meal, will never go back to the Mill Hill Prezzo again,,

The food is to be expected for a chain restaurant, and the service does not stand out. We visited as a group of 4, and were seated in a booth - only to be asked to move after a half hour to a smaller table, despite already ordering our drinks and food. Not really sure why this was, as it was a week night and very quiet. Getting the attention of a waitress can be difficult due to the layout of the restaurant - if you're on the raised seating area, you are out of sight of most of the staff and so you have to wait until one comes up to your table. It's not bad, per se, but with so many great independent restaurants in Mill Hill, it would be nice to see Prezzo up their game to keep up with the competition.

Went for lunch, was shown to a table where the seating was covered in food - asked the staff to please clean it before we sat down. The 2 people serving obviously wanted to be somewhere else - their attitude was very lax and not interested - really service was non existant unless you stood up and asked them to help. Pizza was very nice tho - the only one working hard was the guy that made it. Truffle chips were tasty. Salad arrived with old soggy peppers. Asked twice for dressing which arrived but wasn't very nice. Didn't bother complaining because we could see the girls just could not care less. One was on her phone mostly, the other did try to smile and do her work. Asked who the manager was and it was one of the two girls. Got the bill asap and left. Wouldn't go back.

Mediocre pizza chain food tasted as though it had come form the freezer at Iceland.Diabolical service, staff preferred chatting at the bar rather than serving paying customers and they still had the gall to add a "compulsory" service charge. Manager was very rude when this was pointed out to him.My tip, don't bother, plenty of decent independent pizza establishments in the area, that want your custom.

Quite pleasant, tables have lots of space between them, food was better than expected (basic starters, and then I had a burger & friend had a pizza). A couple of minor service glitches (the waitress was v nice, but didn't have great English). Would return. The menu has a sellotaped-in-specials-section that both looked naff and was torn

We were a massive family party for lunch at Cafe La Fiamma. I cannot praise the service highly enough. My nephew is non verbal autistic and at one point, got up from the table and wanted to go to the park, just as lunch was served. Not a problem, the waiting staff quickly sorted my nephew and his parents' lunch into a picnic and passed it through the long windows into the park. It makes such a huge important difference when restaurants have such easy warmth and kindness towards children like my nephew. We're all so grateful, thank you. The food was also delicious. We had a fantastic time and hope to see you again soon.

We arrived late afternoon before the Saturday rush. Very friendly staff prepping for post 2nd lockdown service. They still had time to chat about recent struggles but were very positive about the future. This is the first meal here for me although the morning coffee is excellent. We ordered a pizza each and a bottle of very good house red syrah. I could see the kitchen chef rolling and cutting dough in front of the gas pizza oven. The pizza has lovely toppings, were as thin as you could make and very tasty. With an extra large wine and Calypso coffee the bill came to £53. A reasonable price for friendly staff, a nice vibe and good food.

The food was classic Italian though not in an old fashioned way. All dishes were attractively presented and most importantly everything was cooked just right. Service was great and we had the good fortune of a table with a view over Bushey Park which was magical. Service was excellent.

We come to Richmond about once a year & found this restaurant on our last trip. Loved it so much we returned & it did not disappoint. We both had seafood pasta, mine was with a tomato based sauce with hint of chilli, & husband's was creamy. They were both superb. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of Italian white wine it went down a treat. We shared the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert as I remembered how large it was ! Overall a great meal out & very reasonable price.
