Lovely place & cocktails. Food average. Salad not very exciting, a lot of yellow Iceberg lettuce . My husband had items missing from his meal that should have been included, as per the menu specification. Will try again, though. Staff were attentive.

Food on another level. Had a real mix of dishes as a family. Steak burger, pizza, pasta & a Sunday roast! Absolutely every element of every dish was fantastic. Not had a flawless meal to such a degree that I can remember. Staff could be a bit more cheerful but doesn’t take away from the level of food served. Outstanding.

Had our works Christmas meal here and the level of service was poor , nothing wrong with the food it was all well cooked and tasty and everyone enjoyed it but once we was seated at our table the only time anybody showed any interest in you was to put a plate of pre ordered food in front off you , not once did anybody ask are you ok , anybody want more drinks . Asked for the dessert menu and it arrived and we waited and waited eventually somebody went to the bar for drink and tried to order there but was told someone will come to your table . Given it a 3 as the food was good , service that's another story ..

The food and service were ok, but it was very cold inside. The staff said the underfloor heating was on, but it wasn't nearly enough to keep us comfortable. We ended up sitting with our coats on.

Another great meal at the Manor Court Azzuro. Pizza and pasta was Lovely aswell as the wine. All very well priced. Staff fantastic and a great atmosphere

This is not an Italian Restaurant - it serves a few Italian dishes and pizzas but also has loads of other things on the menu too. This means that very little appears to be freshly made - it is just heated up from the fridge/freezer. I imagine the pizzas are good as we were sitting near the pizza oven and they certainly smelt good! The food was nothing more than okay but the service was generally good and the waiting staff friendly. The deserts were better (we had waffles & tiramisu) and were not too badly priced.

Visited as a group of 16 friends for an evening meal. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by attentive (but not overly) staff and shown to our table. The menu was extensive and provided for all tastes. Our food was served promptly, was hot, plentiful and excellent. Staff were courteous and welcoming. There was a discrepancy with the drinks tab at the end of the evening. It turned out to be a mistake that could have left a sour taste to what would otherwise have been an excellent evening however, it was subsequently dealt with quickly and efficiently by the venue and without any fuss. Mistakes sometimes happen but it is the way they are resolved that matters. Thank you Azzuro.

Lovely wood fired pizzas with a good choice of toppings - really fresh and excellent quality. Home made chips too - very good! Starters of mozzarella sticks were a bit average but the pizza more than made up for it. Staff very efficient and friendly. Overall very good value for money and family friendly too

We visited two nights in a row while on holiday, and all 3 of us really enjoyed our meals each time. The pizzas were cooked to perfection, I had an unusual yet very tasty veg pizza with olives and onion chutney. The restaurant is large and the covid guidelines seem to be followed very well making for a relaxing meal. We found the host and waitress really pleasant and could not fault anything about our meal.

We had a family meal here last week. We were staying down the road so it was an obvious choice for an evening meal. I visited to check it out a few days before we went and made a booking in person. It was disappointing to find that despite my personal booking they did not have it when we arrived so had to wait until the managed juggled some bookings around. It’s a large restaurant and because of the different parts of the restaurant it was well suited to the requirements of COVID 19. The menu is a combination of Italian and English pub food - we chose dishes from both cuisines. The food was overall OK - some good dishes and others poor. Pizza and pies were good though lasagne was quite disappointing. Service was good throughout the evening.

Came here Saturday night with my husband, sister and brother in law They have been before and enjoyed it , so thought we would try it . I’m pleased we did everything was good the service and the food the prices was really good we had a 3 course meal all different and we all had clean plates ( nothing left) we are looking forward to going again soon.

On arrival everybody is polite and attentive but once you are seated you are forgotton about, nobody checks on you and you have to ask twice for extra drinks and they dont even ask if you want to see the desert menu. When the bill finally arrives (i had to go and get it after asking twce ) there is an £8.00 "discount" but it does not add up and so when i asked they explained that the "discount" is wrong, computer error as its an £8.00 addition as we asked for a £6.95 starter to be served as a main , we would of been better buying two starters and still save money.

Very nice food Waiter and waitresses were welcoming Chef even asked my son if he wanted to see the oven that they cook the pizza in as he could see the flames from it! Very reasonable in price Would definitely go back

A hidden treasure chest !!!Last minute meal before heading back to Leeds, less than 5 minute drive from south shore holiday park. It was a family meal with my Teenage son who is Gluten free. What can we say, Kendal the waitress was brilliant, a warm smile as we walked in, and she was passing between restaurants, yes there is 2, supervisors should drink the same water !!!All meals were great, especially Pizza from the wood burner oven. Yes even the GF pizza base. Romantic for couples, friendly for families, groups seemed well looked after. What more can we say, keep up the good work ALL. Well done CHEFS. Great food in nice surroundings. The sea bass was delicious as was e chicken in mushroom sauce. If you've room for a sweet try the melted mars bar fondue....Delicious

For starters we shared the meat and olive platter, best olives I’ve tasted but needed some sauces/dipping oils to go with it. I had pasta meatballs for mains which was nice but overly tomatoey for me. My partner had the mushroom truffle oil pizza which was delicious and wish I’d had that instead! Rest of the party enjoyed their meals. Calzones looked like small babies Drinks a bit pricey but expected. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice range of desserts I spotted. Would return again

My sister and husband had eaten here twice before and enjoyed the occasion both times. I liked that the restaurant has various rooms where you can dine, the bar etc. Our welcome was very friendly and efficient and we were quickly seated at a good table - drinks orders taken at once, served with a delicious, warm fresh tomato bruschetta - perfect - such a nice touch! Food orders then taken and we all opted for various pizzas - the funghi and capra were particularly good - very good size, with just the right crisp base and amount of topping - we had some sides of mixed salad, chips, rocket and parmesan - also very good (just, I wish restaurants would stop using balsamic glaze - it does nothing for a salad at all). Also, the pizzas quickly got cold - maybe the result of serving on a wooden platter rather than warmed ceramic - however, a minor gripe - all in all, a very enjoyable evening - good food, reasonable prices and very good service. On the wine front, we chose one recommended by our waiter - a Nero d'Avola - perfect with the pizza. I shall look forward to visiting again to try a different pizza - lovely!

We visited Azzuro's as a family of 19, to celebrate my nephew's 18th birthday. The service was friendly and warm, a small seating issue was sorted immediately and the food was very good. We will most definitely be back. Alison

We went for my daughter's birthday because she loves the bruschetta they give you ...as it was her birthday she got an extra portion which she loved! We had the vegan pizza and it was absolutely gorgeous...as was the pasta had by others in the party...we even took our own cake which was lit by the staff and our daughter had a lovely birthday..thank you !

For our good friends birthday we booked a table for 4.

We don't often come here, and I am sure why not. Staff we friendly and accommodating when it came to changing a dish for my friend. We sat in comfy seats for a drink before moving to our table. Our order taken, we enjoyed catching up over drinks before food arrived. Starters included squid, soup of the day and King prawns. All perfectly cooked and piping hot. Followed by pasta for me, fish for my friend and pizzas for our husbands. After some debate, we also decided on dessert, but after waiting some time, we had to ask a waiter for the menu to look at. After apologising, he took our order : a selection including cheesecake, dipping platter and coffees. The food was excellent, only disappointment was being forgotten about for desserts - we were told it was our waitress 2nd day, and the positioning of our table. This was near the back of the restaurant and near the toilet. Both my friend and I were knocked several times by other diners going to and from these and had to adjust our chairs to avoid being knocked while eating.

Visited without a booking as a party of 7 and staff were really welcoming.....drinks orders were taken promptly and our table was ready shortly after. The food was outstanding, I’m told pizzas were delicious and there were a number of vegetarian options, the vegetarian special pasta was really flavoursome. I usually eat in the orangery but enjoyed the Italian experience and will return very soon!

I was one of a party of 16 who had booked this restaurant for a special occasion . I was hoping I could give a better review than my last one, but sadly not. I appreciate a table of 16 takes some handling, but the person booking it was assured we would be served as quickly as possible. Well...not so !. It galled me that a table of about 10 men, mostly American, were seated after us, but their order taken first..ummmm??...then we get on to the wait....and wait...and wait...eventually our order was taken, 3 of us ordered from their specials board, only to be told at least 15 minutes later that this option was not available.... so back to the main menu....the crab pasta was revolting, tasted off and not of crab more like mackerel, just a fishy horrible mush really !! then the meatballs and pasta, very very dry and hardly any sauce...the lasagne, an overpowering taste of aniseed, dry and "clarty", calzone pizza very "bready"....chips tasted dry and frozen, not fresh. One person had to wait another 5 minutes after everyone else was served for their pizza ?? why ??. No staff came round to ask if the food was OK, apart when clearing away the plates. I was asked if I had finished because of the amount of food left on the plate, and when I replied I had left it because it was not good, the waitress did apologise, but it is was not her fault. No one came to see if they could recitfy the situation. Eventually we got the bill, when paying at the till in the bar, the lad asked was everything ok, I said no, several meals were definitely not OK, he didn't know what to say, so said nothing. To sum up, Food - out of the 16 meals 7 were definitely poor...Drinks - extortionate !!, Service - non existent. Will we return - definitely not, you have had two chances and blown both.

Table of 16 booked for a leaving party. Very disappointing overall. Long long wait for food although I appreciate this happens when cooking to order so I was hoping the food would be good. Food arrived pizzas v good but other pasta dishes not. We know this should have been pointed out at the table check but it was checked early and we hadn’t really eaten much.

We visited tonight for the first time and will definitely be returning. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the restaurant itself has a great ambience and we loved the decor/lights etc. Our party of five had a variety of starters, mains and desserts which were all freshly prepared and delicious.

We had a marvelous meal here on Friday night. We were staying in the hotel and decided to eat here The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our food was delicious and we had the Risotto and it was the best Risotto we have ever eaten ..Complements to the chef. We enjoyed our evening .with lovely wine and great food

Went for a special meal with a friend. We were disappointed with the ambiance of the restaurant and the food was nothing special, it felt also that we were rushed through even though the tables were mostly empty, on a Saturday night!!

Good food and helpful staff can get busy so book definitely in high season. Watch the size of your pizza...were 12 inches but they will give you a box to takeaway what you can't eat.

My family enjoyed a super visit to this super Italian Restaurant. Luckily we found everything to be spot on. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything that we ordered was perfectly cooked enjoyed. We could not fault a thing, and look forward to returning soon.

Ate here this evening with a large group and I’m sorry to say I must disagree with the reviews on here. Absolute opposite of “authentic Italian food”. Food had been pre ordered as there was 15 of us and several orders were wrong, the garlic mushroom starter had been microwaved - hot in places and cold in others. Service was very poor and we were the only table in the restaurant so not due to being busy. Risotto for main was tasteless.

Fab evening spent in the lovely Italian restaurant of the Manor Court complex.Food was first class and service was attentive without being intrusive.The huge pizza fire is an excellent addition to the ambience of a truly welcoming Italian restaurant.Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We had just moved here and needed a nice restaurant to celebrate an 18th. We chose here as menu looked nice and it was short notice and they could accommodate us. There were twelve of us and we all enjoyed the food. Staff seemed rather rushed it was the first week after Xmas and probably tired wanting to get home but it made it a little uncomfortable so after we finished our meal we quickly moved into the hotel bar area. I would like to try here again as the food was good.

We came here following a number of recommendations about their ability to cater for a coeliac diet. We were not disappointed. There were 10 of us all together; a mix of adults and children and one coeliac. The menu is varied and everyone found something they wanted. The staff were absolutely lovely and Claire, in particular, was great with the kids. The food was lovely and everyone enjoyed what they had. Go with a healthy appetite though as the portions are very generous! When our coeliac ice cream came out with a wafer they spotted the error quickly and replaced it with a completely new dish. A great meal out.

La lasaña era preciosa, la torta de zanahoria un poco seco y hecha en el borde pero delicioso de todos modos. Sin duda otra vez, pero que no tiene nada de especial es lo mismo que otros restaurantes italianos en un entorno más agradable.

I was staying nearby, and wanted a nice steak. The reviews were pretty good, so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't book ahead, just turned up, but it was a Monday evening so it wasn't that busy. Service was reasonably quick. I was seated in the bar with a menu, and someone came to take my order in a few minutes. A short while later (about 5-10 minutes?) I was taken to my table.The food was good. I had creamy garlic mushrooms, which came with a couple of pieces of garlic bread. When I'd finished, it wasn't long till my main course arrived. I like my steak 'blue', and it was! All in all a pleasant meal, although maybe slightly on the pricey side.

Excellent is all that can be said. Good staff and prices. Whether it's pasta dishes or the gorgeous steaks.Faultless

As we live close by, the Azzurro is always in our minds if we want a good meal at a reasonable price. Staff are always helpful, and there is never a long wait to be led to our table.The king prawn and calamari starters are difficult to resist, with the result that quite often we have two starters instead of a main course, especially as upon arrival at the table we are greeted by an amuse-bouche to set the scene. The pizzas are always freshly made and with ample toppings ,(always with extra chilli in my case). The pasta is well prepared and tasty and the wine and Timothy Taylors Landlord is well up to standard. Whats not to like?

Lovely restaurant great meal cooked as required. Attentive but not overpowering staff. Both my wife and l ordered rib eye steak medium/rare and it came perfectly cooked with chips onion rings mushroom tomatoe and side salad. Several sauces available as extras. Topped off with two lovely deserts, and coffees made it a very nice experience.

Oh dear, What a disappointment, I really wish I’d taken notice of the last review in May.I am definitely not a foodie and I hate those really patronising reviews which disect every aspect of someones restaurant.But for the sake of other customers not entirely wasting their money as we did I recommend that if you do want to try eating here, you absolutely must insist on them not adding oil to the top of… actually everything!!!Having said that, I did ask them to only add a small amount, but I think they must of ignored that request.Certainly the worst pizza and pasta dish I’ve ever had unfortunately

A good large venue which is buzzing when it is busy. We had lovely homemade pizzas and the starters (especially the calamari) were delicious. It's great to see the pizza oven fired up and chefs cooking as you eat. The pizza varieties are a bit lacking for me personally, but maybe that's because I've been so many times and have had all the ones I like! But I still enjoy them. The specials were really good on this occasion including the duck which was cooked perfection. All in all a great local venue with good friendly service. Thank you

We have been a number of times to this restaurant and have never been disappointed. Went yesterday evening having been turned away from the Lobster Pot as they were "too busy". The Azzurro were also busy but fitted us in without a reservation. With hindsight I am glad the Lobster Pot weren't as accommodating.The complimentary bruschetta is so tasty (not my husband's favourite so I get his portion). Husband had calzone (very large) and I had lasagne with mixed salad. We shared chips which are the best we've had in a restaurant (or indeed at home). Portions are generous - which is a shame as we couldn't fit in dessert. Did have coffee which finished the meal off perfectly. Whole bill was £32 and worth every penny. We will be back

I have been coming here for years and it never fails to deliver. Excellent value for money and the food is amazing. The staff are very friendly and will help whenever needed. I had the calzone and fries. The portions are more than adequate and I always leave feeling full. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Attended with a group of friends in a large party. All the meals were correct and arrived st the same time. Very accommodating to dietary needs. I would attend this restaurant again.

What a great meal we had, 37 of us. I booked a fortnight ago for the Rugby Club's U12's Christmas meal. Booking was a doddle, one phone call and the arrangements made. Whilst I did pre book the majority of the meals the flexibility showed by the restaurant is to be commended. No shows and late arrivals were treated with professionalism and good grace.The meal was an unbridled success, 37 meals delivered with only one mix up, caused by me. 37 happy diners. Our number didn't even prevent the staff from dealing with a large number of other diners, smaller parties than ours but valued customers none the less. I aim to make this our location for this traditional treat for the players and their families.

First visit for a while, used to be a regular occasion. Really busy, but staff faultless, even to the point of serving a steak with a favourite sauce and dressing which is no longer on the menu! Three large parties in at the same time as us, but service couldn't be faulted.Steak was as good as I remembered....

Years since I've been here as I don't live in Bridlington anymore but pleased to say the food and service were still as good as I remembered, despite being very busy with large parties at Christmas. Disappointed at first because my favourite steak was no longer on the menu but thrilled that they still offered to make it for me! It tasted every bit as amazing as I remembered and we all left feeling very full and relaxed after a lovely family meal. Will try not to leave it so long between visits!

We were looking forward to our meal this evening having read previous reviews. Unfortunately it was not great. We ordered the pâté and selection of mixed cold meats to start along with a garlic pizza bread. The paté had not set properly and was sloppy. The mixed cold meats were fine especially after asking for some oil dressing for the accompanying salad. Why not have oil and vinegar on the table?We had ordered wine with our meal which was on the table and open before we sat down. Nobody came to pour the wine or check to see if it was ok. It was ok thank goodness. Our main courses were lasagne and linguine with crab, mussels and clams. The lasagne was ok but no better than pub food. The linguine was awful. The pasta was way over cooked. The mussels were full of grit and had loads of broken shells with the pieces throughout the pasta. The clams were in hiding along with the crab. It wasn't eaten. We did point out the worst of the meal which was the linguine when asked if everything was ok. We were not charged for the linguine and that was good.Would we eat here again? NOPity as the wine was good!

We drove past here on our way to the coast and thought we would try it as the exterior looked inviting. We were not disappointed. Fresh wood fired pizzas and great pasta. Portions were v generous too. Would share a garlic bread between 3 for starters. Lovely interior and great service. Would recommend

Having previously been here because of the great food, we went again as a party of 6. 1 member of the group ordered Tuna Steak, however when the rest of us were served, we were unfortunately told there was no Tuna available. Alternatives were offered and once it arrived, we were immediately told it was on the house.Mistakes happen, but it's how the mistake is rectified that matters, this along with the attentive staff and good atmosphere made for a very pleasant evening.If you want great Italian food in Bridlington, look no further.

We went with a party of 8, our village dining club outing. What a good choice, the place was buzzing, a great atmosphere. I thought with it being busy the service would be slow, but no, it was spot on, we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food, all the staff were friendly and efficient. The menu choices are many and varied, something for everyone. All our choices were freshly cooked and tasty, my starter of baked figs was superb ! At the end of the evening it's customary for us to vote, it received a 9/10 or 10/10, the highest votes ever received from our club ! So that says it all !

Food was ok, nothing remarkable, but fine. Ordered a bottle of (not inexpensive) Barolo, which just got plopped down on the table, already opened with small inappropriately sized glasses to drink from. Never had a bottle of wine "presented" like this before. No one bothered to check on the table to enquire if the food was all right or not, or did we need anything, only with change of staff at end of evening, did someone come by for the bill. Although open until later, once the room cleared ( this was before 9 pm) staff started cleaning, felt very uncomfortable with the clatter going on around us.

3rd visit recently, each visit has seen the same quality of food, a great Italian menu with everything sampled being delicious.The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are very good.Their pizzas are to die for, as is their garlic bread! You won't beat the chocolate fondue as a dessert! This place has a great atmosphere for any occasion be it a family meal, romantic night or a works do.

We've been twice before and the quality of the pizzas is excellent. Nice surroundings and perfect for our way home after a day on the beach at Filey. I've only rated at 4 as the service wasn't as good as before. Nothing specific but it was a bit slow (they were full) but when we've been before there was one very friendly waiter who wasn't there last night. Last night they were ok but didn't "engage" at all. Notwithstanding my comment above I'm very happy to recommend.

This is one of my go-to g/f eateries. Food is lovely in both the Italian and English restaurants. Good ambiance and comfortable seating. Food is well presented and plenty of it. The staff are lovely and helpful with all my g/f enquiries. If there is one minor let down, for me personally, it is that the menu is not labelled with what is/can be made gluten free. They say it is down to the new labelling law! So you have to ask what is or can be made g/f. Please don't let this put you of going there though. I have never been made to feel uncomfortable when asking my barrage of questions about g/f and as a general rule the waiter/waitress can answer my questions then and there or will go and ask the chef! As I said earlier this is one of my local go-to restaurants.

The prices are a little high for the quality of food. Best value are the pizzas. Staff seem to sit everyone near to each other even when the restaurant is quiet.

Really lovely food and nice decor in the restaurant. The bruschetta on the tables is delicious and we all enjoyed the garlic bread we shared to start. The chicken dolce vita (I think it was called) was absolutely delicious. It would be nice to have the option of chips instead of new potatoes but these were more healthy. The kids enjoyed their pizza too. Not cheap, but lovely flavours. Will go again.

We visited on a Thursday night as a couple, we were greeted well, served drinks promptly and shown the menu while waiting to be seated. Once seated we had complimentary bruchetta. The restaurant was very busy and the food did take a while but was first class when served. The only reason this is not 5 stars for me was how spaced out the servings were. If you were visiting with a family this could be frustrating but as a couple sometimes it is nice for it to take a little longer.

We chose the Italian restaurant, service was excellent, the food was very good, we all had different starters and mains, all of which were spot on, would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.Well worth a visit, we will definitely be back.

Came here by chance as our first choice was closed on a Sunday. We were glad we came as the whole experience (for a birthday celebration) was very good.We were greeted at the bar, then taken to a comfy seating area to look at the menu before going to our table. The dining room is nicely decorated with a light, airy feel and was wasn't hot and stuffy on a very warm Summer evening.All our food, from the complementary bruschetta to desserts were delicious; my risotto was the best I've had anywhere. Prices were as we'd expect from the quality.All the staff were polite and attentive; all in all, a lovely place to visit and we will return soon I hope.

In my opinion tables were too close together. Only about a foot separated me and the person on the next table. I could hear ever word of their conversation. Can't fault the food. Service was good, had to ask twice for another drink though. Felt a bit forgotten about. Overall great food but not a great atmosphere so wouldn't return in a hurry.

Had my Mother's 80th Birthday meal.Fantastic food, lovely venue.There was around 40 of us in total, Varied meals from Lasagne to Scampi all served at the same time.Everyone enjoyed the food.Thank you and your staff for a great day.

We visited for a family member's birthday on Sunday and although we arrived before the time we had booked, the restaurant were more than happy to accommodate us.We are local and so I can't believe we haven't been before...we didn't know what we were missing. The restaurant is lovely, beautifully decorated and cosy. We all enjoyed our meals and everything was excellent value for money. The service was great and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be returning for another visit soon.

Had a wonderful meal here. The ingredient were fresh wherever possible and the meal was delicious from start to finish. Not over priced and even the house wine was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to dine there again.

The food was nice. Not the best but nice. Had to ask to order wine twice. For dessert I ordered a melted Mars bar with things for dipping. Firstly the pot was the consistency of water, so when you dipped it just ran straight of, instead of it been a thick lovely sauce it was a like a watery sauce made from powder, the waitress said it was meant to be like that, so it's false on the menu and shouldnt be called a dipping fondue dish. No apology offered she just walked off. Bad customer service. She should of spoken to someone and then spoke to me

Me & my boyfriend visited azzurro on Monday & loved every minute, the service was wonderful & the food was all delicious. It was a celiacs Dream & the gluten free options were many & delicious, first restaurant I've found that does gluten free garlic bread for starter! I was told the regular options were also great quality by my boyfriend. Will definitely visit again :)

I visited this establishment, in October, 2015 with two family members and was pleasantly surprised at the extent of the menu, for such a place, situated in a remote part of the county.I had as a starter, fig with blue cheese, which was excellent. Its s shame, there was only one fig served as the starter, which I thought was a little overpriced. When I asked the waiter to tell me the name of the blue cheese, there was a stoney silence, which always worries me, when front line staff are not told, by the kitchen staff, the ingredients of what they are serving to patrons. I suppose it would have been all the same had I been allergic to some food-stuff. I was even m ore surprised when I had to request the waiter to go and enquire the blue cheese, rather than an offer to seek out the information.The fish dish I had was reasonable, but given the fact the place is close to the fishing port and docks, I am surprised there was not a wider choice of fresh fish and shellfish, given the abundance of local shops in the town itself, selling fish and shellfish.There is a wide choice of .beers, but at £4.40 a pint for Italian Lager, I think that is a little overpriced; maybe you can charge that in a higher class restaurant, or night club, but after all, this is a mediocre side of the road eating house, which has yet to make a name for itself.Overall, it makes an effort to be good, but on a Saturday evening, I would have expected more patrons present. As it was, there was a violent thunder storm, so maybe sensible people decided to stay at home rather than venture out.I returned a few days ago and still found the same pricey drinks on offer. Food was fair to reasonable and there remains areas for improvement. Please take a good look in the mirror and then you may get some good reviews.Next time I am visiting the area, I may try it out, to see if heed has been paid to my remarks.

Four friends decided to go out on a birthday celebration . It was a Saturday night so I wasn't sure what we would find. The restaurant was busy we had booked but not full. Easy drinking and chatting in the bar area before our table was ready. We were there for the evening so waiting wouldn't be a problem. The staff were friendly , polite and helpful I don't remember waiting for our food which was hot and tasty. A large pizza to share as a starter was thin and crispy just as I like it I followed by salmon pasta really good and a great night out grazie mille

The pizza here is the best pizza ive ever eaten!! thats no lie (at least the best in town) Very nice prices for top quality food.. only complaint would be CUT YOUR GARLIC BREAD STRAIGHT!!!!

We Just visited this hotel again tonight for a evening out to celebrate my birthday and to have some food which we know is the best around however as a family we were not impressed by the service we feel the service is not as good as it was the previous time we ventured to this hotel even then i felt the hotel was struggling with the level of staff available and this time we left early as I felt the atmosphere was very heavy and has not improved in terms of service which is very sad for me i would urge the management to increase its staff levels and to interact more with its customers its a shame I have to be critical but i believe the service is just as important as the food you get which is very good I do hope the management take on board my comments seriously and implement some serious change in the future

Seven of us visited this restaurant for a pre-Christmas meal, with two of us not having been before. We only booked a few days beforehand and were actually surprised to get a table just a week before Christmas.It’s quite a large restaurant but it was nowhere near full and I would think that if there were only two of us the place would have felt a bit like a cavern.The food, however, was very good. Some of us had pizza, others pasta on one had fish. All comments suggested that we were happy with what we were served.Staff were friendly and service was good, as it should have been with them not being full. I thought the prices were fine making the evening good value for money.If we go again it would be as a group in order to get a bit more atmosphere.

I recently visited the Azzurro restaurant with work colleagues for an evening meal. The food was absolutely outstanding. We all had 3 courses and not one of us could find fault with anything we had. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. Upon arrival we were welcomed in the bar and drinks orders taken, there was a good choice of drinks on offer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Azzurro and look forward to a return visit.

Friday night in Azzuro wasn't too busy so we couldn't really understand why the service was poor. We had to ask for a wine list, we weren't offered any water. We had to ask for the desert/coffee menu and it didn't arrive so we just didn't bother. The food was nice so l wouldn't give a lower rating but good food has to go hand in hand with good service-reasonably priced and pleasant surroundings-Buck up the service and I would recommend.

Had a fab meal here with my partner on a saturday night, food was delicious and reasonably priced. We both had starters (garlic mushrooms and melon) and pizzas with a variety of toppings which were very nice. The atmosphere was lovely, little touches like the candles on the table and the fairy lights in the restaurant made it feel cosy and romantic. Even though the restaurant was quite busy we were served fairly quickly. We will definitely be returning again!

From out of the area so hadn't been for several years - just as good as I remembered - wide choice - superb food - attentive but unobtrusive service - will be returning soon.

We ate here a couple of days ago (recommended in a good food booklet) on bank holiday Monday and they had no problem fitting us in short notice, as a large group of ten. The staff were very welcoming and gave us the menus to look at while we waited for our table. The Italian restaurant is separate to the hotel and has lovely decor with plenty of space. We had 5 children with us and although there is no children's menu, they were happy to make smaller versions of anything on the menu. We all had starters which were huge and very tasty. The main courses were also generous - the seafood ravioli was excellent! Desserts were great with a homemade icecream counter for the kids and and a really good choice of puddings. We didn't feel rushed and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend for this area if you are sick of fish n chips and pub grub. Reasonably priced too.

Visited this restaurant on a recommendation from a local, and where not disappointed , we arrived early but were taken to our seats having purchased drinks from the bar the bar man carried the drinks to our table for us as both my husband and I are disabled, the food was very good the service was quick and efficient and the price was very good for a restaurant of this standard would definitely recommend.

Been to the Azzurro a few times now for meals out and family occasions and always found the staff friendly and enjoyed the food. We decided to book for my husband's birthday last week. Although the menu and layout is the same, some of the friendly familiar faces were missing. When we arrived (7pm) we looked through the menu sat at a dirty unwiped table, then the waiter came to take our order dressed in a food stained shirt, not a good start! We enjoyed the starters only to have another waiter bring our main courses also with a food stained shirt, carrying our dinner plates with dirty tea towels. It seems something has changed at the Azzurro and that maybe it's just the customers that dress for dinner! Shame.

We booked a table for 7 at 7pm for a 50th birthday celebration, and arrived promptly. The restaurant looked busy, and we were seated in the foyer and our drinks order taken. Then we had a very long wait until our food order was taken, and when one of our party asked if we could order we were told abruptly "one minute!". We were not made to feel welcome by the member of staff who took our order, it seemed we were just another inconvenience to him. Eventually we were taken into the restaurant, but it was 8.25 before we got our main courses.The food in general was good. One of our party had a burger which was just "OK" but the rest of the food was tasty - mind you - after so long a wait a scabby horse might have tasted fine ! Amazed to see we had been charged 65p for a dash of Pepsi in one of the drinks !! and thought the drinks were very expensive compared to nearby restaurants. Would we go back ?? Can only say.... maybe..... the slow service and the cost of the drinks would put us off just popping in.

Good food in decent surroundings with excellent staff. This comes highly recommended. Didn't disappoint!

We happened upon this by chance and thought we would give it a go one evening. 4 adults and a toddler for early evening meal.Warm welcome, drinks served quickly. Ordered food in the reception area before being seated right in front of the open kitchen. Staff were fantastic and attentive and helpful.We were amazed with the speed for arrival of the courses. We didn't have any starters although they did look fab.The mains were a great size, seafood pasta FULL of seafood - calzone huge!!!!!! Very reasonably priced for quality.Would definitely return if in the area again.

Me and the husband hadn't been out together for over a year so I was really looking forward to a nice meal together and wasn't disappointed. Service/staff very attentive - even offered to book a taxi home for us, nice touch to have a pre-meal drink and take our orders in the bar area - didn't feel like we were waiting long at all for the meals. All food perfect, lovely ambiance and atmosphere, decor, even the music. Just hope I don't have to wait another year to return! A lovely treat, many thanks!

modern friendly Italian restaurant. No actual GF menu but the waiters do advise which dishes can be made gluten free - includes pizza and some pasta dishes.

Everything about his place is good. The whole ambience, the food, the stylish decor. Always go here for special occasions Whether you're looking for something special, like fillet steak or just a pizza it's a great place to eat out. The atrium area is lovely for a drink before eating. There are tables outside and the summer cocktails are good too Do yourself a favour and try it out.

I have been to the more traditional restaurant next door and praised it on trip advisor very highly. And with this in mind we thought we would try the Italian side of the complex.Result = Very Disappointed The best part of our meal was the onion rings and the chips. I am not afraid to spend money but when I feel that I have been robbed I will tell you and tonight I feel that way. A Half of lager and vodka and orange nearly £9.00 then how much profit have they made out of the meal.The pizzas were supposed to be thin and crispy just like I like them, however they were the opposite quite thick an doughy.Sorry Azzurro but tonight you failed to deliver and I won't be returning.

Brilliant family meal at Azzurro after a day out at Flamborough Head. Great staff and superb fresh pastas and pizza. Deserts were amazing with home made gelato as well!! Definitely recommend it as an alternative to the usual pub grub and fish n chips. A class above the rest
