Had dinner here as it is the restaurant at the hotel in which I was staying. I had a bad experience at Marco Pierre’s in Birmingham, but wanted to give it another go. It was very disappointing. Had the salad with goat cheese to start with, which was rather simple. Then I had the Sirloan Steak and asked for it to be medium rear. The steak came out after a long while, very cooked. I never send food back but that was hard to eat. Another steak came out within few minutes as apparently they were preparing one at the time. It came out as if not more cooked than the first one…I really did not want to send it back, so ate it. They also offered a sauce with it, which I agreed to (peppercorn) for which they almost charged me £4! I would not recommend. I must say the waitresses were very kind and polite. Food was a big disappointment.

Steak was not what we’ve requested instead of a medium ribeye steak we had a piece of rubber not even close to ribeye poor quality and poor service

Had a lovely dinner here and the food was so lovely, I was really happy and relaxed here. A lovely relaxed feeling throughout the place and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you and we shall repeat the visit i'm sure.

We wondered why restaurant was half empty , you have to pay to park , which we did not know and staff in Marco restaurant did not warn us, we have received £100 fine from private parking firm, we will of course ignore as they have no rights, but never the less will not come back to restaurant or hotel, what idiots.

We went on Wednesday night, table for six , lovely food and staff , specially the waitress Alexandra .Steaks they were cooked to perfection. We will repeat for sure soon .

Wonderful evening, food was fantastic (highly recommend the buffalo wings starter)We were served by Joanna and Tatiana and they couldn’t do enough for us. We had certain dietary requirements and they went out of their way to accommodate us.

I had a business lunch meeting at the Holiday Inn Brentwood and, when we saw the MPW Italian, we though that was an ideal venue. Nice ambiance and decent service, but the food was very disappointing and no better than what you get at the many Italian chains. Bland pasts with tomato sauce, bland and dry chicken in breadcrumbs, etc. Definitely NOT what you would expect from a MPW restaurant and maybe going in the direction of Jamie's Italian?

Wow what a lovely place. We had a buy a gift afternoon tea here. Staff were really lovely. Friendly and attentive. Wow wow wow the food was very good. A very different style of afternoon tea. Mini burgers , sweet pot fries , olives etc etc. To finish amazing cakes. The lemon tart was the best I have ever tasted. Totally recommend

Stayed here for 5 night and ate in the restaurant every night, the food is the best hotel food I’ve had and I work away a lot, the staff are really down to earth and welcoming. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻5 STAR

Lovely staff looked after by the superb Tatiana. Great food to make a better day. Tried the Passori Rosso wine as recommended and was very happy indeed!

Went back for a second time having been given a voucher. We knew it was from a separate menu but was expecting more choice. 3 each of the 5 starters/Mains/Dessert had between £2.50 and £3.50 supplements on them, so only 2 choices from each if we didn't want to pay extra. Ordered Bruschetta with tomatoes and a small piece arrived with frozen cherry tomatoes on top. The waitress asked if we wanted it heated but that would have made the bread inedible so we waited until tomatoes thawed. The pastas were edible but a young man in the restaurant was vaping. I alerted a waitress but as I did their food was served and he put it in his pocket. He took it out after eating, the manageress walked past his table for a look, he had been alerted that he had been seen so the member of staff did not confront him but kept an eye on him. He didn't do it again while we were in there.

Never ever will try again decor is lovely.. They need to train the bar staff as poor boy had no idea and looked lost.... Couldn't tell me what wine they had so I had to ask for a menu.. No ice or lemon in drinks or asked if we wanted... And the food was so average. Alot of us had burgers which were dry and tasteless and even my sons Said his pizza was was just OK.. None of our group of 14 really enjoyed.. Sad as a birthday celebration.. And was pre booked so new we were coming!!! Looks nice inside but don't bother, I won't again!!!!!

A fantastic meal from a menu with lots of choice. Slightly expensive but I guess you're paying for the name.

The Staff and service at Marco's was amazing. Large family xmas party went off with out a hitch. Communications with the team for pre orders were spot on, even adding extra people at last minute.

Absolutely top star service, lovely staff- especially our server Alex! Food was lovely, with a great selection choice and was very well cooked. Will be returning. Recommend.

We went for the Christmas lunch menu. We had crunchy chicken to start with. Which was ok. And then the turkey dinner, well how disappointing! The carrots were obviously frozen as they were bendy and watery. The roast potatoes were so burnt they were inedible. The turkey was chunks that looked like they’d been cooked in the microwave (they called these escalopes) the only things I could eat were the sprouts and a parsnip. Wish we’d headed up the road to the nags head. Yuk. Btw service charge was added to the bill automatically. We won’t be returning. Shame

It‘s really rare to get a service like this nowadays. The food is brillant but even better is the outstanding Service!

3 business partners attended Marcos for lunch and evening meals during our stay at the hotel. Food was of a very high standard and the restaurant accommodated our specific needs perfectly! The service was excellent. The service from Tatiana was particularly good and she was very pleasant.

I was really looking forward to going to Marcos with the family, but found it to just be a little disappointing.

Had a groupon voucher for 2 course meal, when given the menu saw there was very little choice nearly all had supplements so took the option to upgrade to main menu with a £19 credit.

Is not my first visit to this venue , steaks are perfect and deserts delicious . All staff is friendly and they couldn’t do more for us , it was my sons birthday so the candle on the desert is always a good touch.

Nice setting . Drinks list was all wine with no other choices without asking .

If you want to see 15 waiters/waitresses running around cluelessly go to this restaurant. It was my 2nd (and last) meal here as staying in the hotel. Like Fawlty Towers modern day with 15 Manuel’s. I was served by at least 6 different staff tonight and I only had a pizza and then some cheese plus 3 drink orders. Had to chase the drinks orders every time. My daughter at the age of 7 made a better pizza and boy was it over spiced and too hot - just awful. Cheese straight out of a very cold fridge - had to leave it half an hour to thaw! So...service so laughably unprofessional, uncoordinated and useless serving food that was in the same category. How Marco Pierre White can allow his name to be associated with such garbage is extraordinary. Don’t go!

We stay at the hotel regularly, which is welcoming and very comfortable. MP's restaurant is perfect for our stays and even a night out. The menu offers a great range of dishes catering for all needs. On top of that we're have always found the service to be top class, and the restaurant would not be the same without the staff. In particular we want to give special thanks to Tatiana and the team for looking after us every time. She makes us feel very welcome and nothing is too much effort. Thank you and can't wait to go back again...see you soon ;-)

Taitana was brilliant and she made me feel very welcome and comfortable as I was solo for work. Great service by herself and the young lady training. Will return without a doubt.

What a lovely visit! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and our server Tatiana was extremely attentive, had a pleasant disposition and very helpful. The food was tasteful and met the expected standard as always. I’d highly recommend dinning here.

Food here is appalling. Avoid crab pasta. Staff couldn’t make a Bloody Mary because it wasn’t on the till! Ole slaw turned up 10 mins after finishing meal.

Very nice well presented food and extremely helpful staff. In particular Tatiana, who couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend Marco’s to anyone.

Am absolutely awful experience. The food was awful and poorly presented. Lacked taste. The staff were thin on the ground, with no obvious organisation or training. One member of waiting staff had very strong body odour. The pther kept leaning across the table, interrupting conversations to remove plates and glassware that was still very much in use. It was such a poor experience I actually felt that any second someone would jump out with a film crew!

This is the second time in the space of a few months I have visited the holiday inn Brentwood and also visited its new Marco Pierre white restaurant, I have to say the standards are still extremely high and Tatiana my waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming

I would like to congratulate Tatiana for her brilliant customer service whilst staying at the Holiday Inn over the last 6 weeks , nothing was ever any trouble very accommodating and professional always served with a smile .

I often visit the Marco Pierre white restaurant whilst attending the hotel to work. Every time I am left extremely satisfied with both the food and service - particularly Tatiana who always makes us feel extremely welcome and ensures our food is of the standard it should be. Whether it’s simply just a quick lunch or sit down meal I have never been disappointed and would highly recommend to ask for Tatiana as a waitress if you want a great experience. 10/10

So I stayed in the holiday in for 4 days with work and luckily for me there was this Marco's restaurant newly opened. The staff were very friendly and the food was brilliant. I didn't have to wait too long to be served and when I did the food was of a great standard for a fair price. I would definitely recomend this to anyone

Half way through my work stay and the customer service has been exceptional. Mani and klodian have look after myself and my colleague and made us feel very welcome! They are a credit to the business! 😊

The service we received from the bar staff made our trip so enjoyable and was the main reason we rebooked. They work tirelessly to ensure that customers are satisfied. They make excellent cocktails and I have never had to wait at the bar. Mani has an exceptional knowledge of gin. Klodian goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and no request is too much trouble for him.

Stayed here through work for a number of weeks in a row, therefore have tried most of the menu, food is always excellent and never get bored of the menu, especially pizza. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you, especially Tatiana.

I was in Brentwood on a business trip, and decided to try the restaurant. I was waited by Maisie, she actually made the experience better than the meal, she was very attentive and promt and engaging. Maisie helped me to decide on the Meatballs, and I wasn't disappointed. Good meal and great service.

Spoilt for choice in Brentwood to eat out, we chose at short notice to visit Marco's on a wet Wednesday afternoon. There is a pay & display car park with the threat of a £100 fine, but it transpired, your payment can be waived at the adjoining hotel reception.

Three of us eat at local restaurants every two months: this is easily the worst.

Surrounding looks nice plus with the weather been nasty outside we thought we give this place a try as we were staying at the holiday inn. Unfortunately food did not matched our expectations, we even had to give back the starters as it was too salty, if we were paying £40 then yes I wouldn’t of mind but we actually paid over double that, and for that price we expect much more.....I’ll give this place a miss next time. I should of drove down the road to the city centre which was only 10mins away

Delicious cocktails and great personality from a chap behind the bar, I believe his name was Mani. Modern bar with loads of room to spread out; decor is perfect. The bartender previously mentioned was happy to make any cocktail my friends and I could think of and everything tasted great definitely worth the money! Will be back for sure.

Have visited this restaurant twice now but im afraid that it will be our last. First time we felt fairly positive after our visit as we had a very nice waitress and the food was nice. on ordering a cocktail we were told they did not have the ingredients for the one i chose but made me an alternative. The restaurant overall was quiet but they advised to come back on a Friday as they would have 241 on cocktails and music. Two weeks later we returned with friends on a Friday eve to be told cocktails were 241 all evening. Again the restaurant had only a couple of tables filled so lacked atmosphere. We ordered some cocktails and were told they didn't have the ingredients for several of the choices we made which was very disappointing due to the special offer which seemed ridiculous to then not have supplies. Our food was ok although they had changed the menu and the one on the website had different choices so that was also disappointing as we had already made choices that were now unavailable. Also the staff appear to be doing there best but felt they did not have enough experience to give a professional service. When we asked where our previous waitress was from our first visit we were told she had left. mmm think i know why. Shame really had been looking forward to this place opening. Very disappointing !!

Maisie, our server was a delight. Knowledgeable of the menu, portion sizes and what might appeal to us most. She was efficient without being invasive and deserves credit for our lovely evening. We enjoyed the food too, which met Maisie’s recommendations. 😊

Nice and cosy restaurant. Very friendly staff. Special thank you to Tatiana who served our table. She was very helpful and attentive. Tatiana also reminded us to take a ticket for the parking which we had forgotten to do at the first place.

I booked with Wowcher for an Italian afternoon tea for my daughter and I on the 22nd May. We have experienced a few similar offers in different restaurants and have always enjoyed them and had good experiences. Although we had a pleasant time in the pool, sauna and hot tub we were not impressed with the afternoon tea. We were the only ones in the restaurant and we were asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for a glass of wine which I knew that I would have to pay for but my daughter asked for a latte . We were not offered tea , which I presumed would be served with an afternoon tea. The food presented in a little box of shelves contained all that was advertised but most of it was unappetising. There was a small very dry cheese burger and the olives were large and hard, the ham and avocado was presentable but the cake with cream had to be scraped from the wooden shelf. Altogether a disappointing afternoon tea which had nothing special about it. To be charged £3.90 for the coffee when no alternative was offered seemed unnecessary.

Went in a few cars for a family 50th birthday meal. Food was lovely couldn’t fault it as were the staff.

Been there couple of times but the best time was my last visit ! I was served by Nora . All the team is nice but Nora is beyond amazing . She’s also the best to recommend food! Would definitely come back and ask for Nora to serve me . Great service and food

Me and my partner went to Marco's for the first time yesterday evening for dinner. We came out of there with a big smile on our faces. We was very pleased with the service and quality of the food. We was welcomed by polite staff that looked after us well. The food was delicious and well priced. We didnt have to wait long for each course. We will definitely we returning in the future.

Went here for my birthday. Staff didn’t know but worked it out when family gave me a card, so they arranged a free dessert with candles and a song. Many thanks to the waitresses that arranged that.

As I didn’t have any change for the parking machine, I had to download the app costing a whopping £5 + service charge

Standard MPW franchised restaurant that MPW probably doesn’t even know exists. Service is very good as are the surroundings.

Stayed in the hotel a few times always choose Marcos as the staff are a credit to them, especially Tatiana she goes out the way to make your time there enjoyable and never disappoints. Also credit to the chef always top food.

We fancied going out on Friday night but hadn't booked anywhere so we decided to return to Marco's. To be honest, the chicken wings had been calling us back! Not had wings this tasty anywhere outside of the USA. Could do with a little more blue cheese dressing and celery sticks though- it seems you get the same amount of celery whether you order 6 or 18 wings!

The Location is very cool and the food too. Excellent service, i have been served from Nora which been very kind and professional.

We went to Marcos for dinner on Friday night with the family and it was lovely. Food was really good, served quickly and pretty well priced. Staff were attentive at all times and Tatiana our waitress was very sweet and personable, she was genuinely interested in making our evening as enjoyable as she could.

Perfect for a mix of kid ages, great food and service from Nora Will go back and try the breakfast !!

Having heard good things about Marco's, I thought I would see for my self and I was not disappointed.

Very disappointing, visited on a quiet night. Food was average at best, my partner ordered a burger which was dry, over cooked and inedible. The waitress explained this is how the burgers are cooked here! Service is over the top to over compensate for the poor quality of food. I understand it is a “reasonably priced” restaurant but I would defiantly go else where. Either Mizu 2 minute walk away. Or hope on the train and go to the ivy city garden near Liverpool st. Same price, excellent service and food.

we had a fabulous meal yesterday 31st march , excellent service from Tatiana and all the staff , the ladies received a glass of champagne on arrival and a box of chocolates at the end of the meal , and that extra special touch made the day more special

I just had dinner here and felt compelled to leave a review. My waitress Noorahan was outstanding and made my visit really enjoyable. Even though I was dining alone I felt like I had company and I would definitely come back again.

We went Sunday for a lunch treat for my husbands birthday. The surroundings and ambience is lovely and it’s spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was excellent especially from Nora who was our waitress. She was very friendly and efficient and I happened to mention it was my husbands birthday. She arranged a dessert with candles and a card. It was a lovely touch to our visit and very much appreciated. We will certainly return

We waited a while to try it out in case of teething problems being a new restaurant. It was average, I wouldn’t go back nor did anything particularly stand out it was simply okay. Service is good, over priced for food quality.

My husband and I booked last Sunday lunch time. First impressions were really good- lovely environment, friendly staff good atmosphere.

I was approached by our server Alanah when we came in, she was so polite with a warm smile. My wife and I were offered drinks to start with as we browsed the menu. We asked about nut free dishes which she adivsed us through the menu very well. The food was really tasty and the service was fabulous. We will be defiantly coming back in the future with friends
