He estado aquí varias veces antes y siempre me pareció una buena experiencia.

When shopping in Newcastle we always call at Ninos, always have a good meal and a couple of stongbow cider to wash it down, but on our visit last week both draught beers have been taking out. When I asked why the reply was only bottle beers would be served. So my two pints of cider at £6.50 now become 4 bottles of stongbow at £12.80.we do enjoy our visits to ninos so I will have to have one bottle, and have another 2 drinks for £5 elsewhere in the gate.

I have visited this restaurant quite a few times and told friends and family how good it was. Food I have always thought was exceptional in comparison to other italian restaurants we visit and prices basically the same. May have made a mistake taking the groupon offer and visiting with a friend this evening. Not a patch on what I have experienced before, what has happened to our little treasured restaurant?? The food order took much longer to arrive. Half of the menu was unavailable so much so I checked with the waiter what he did have available. Fair enough you don't expect for a groupon voucher in reality to have the same service, but they could in effect be putting good customers off going back. I must admit this is the first dissappointment I have experienced with this restaurant so will still go back at some point in the future hopefully it will get back on form, hopefully!!!

I've not had such a poor meal for a while. There were nine of us and no one enjoyed it. Staff sloppy - one person didn't get his meal. The basic problem was the food wasn't cooked. It was just things added together quickly either on a pizza or pasta. I've never had such a tough prawn. Colleague's lasagne had vegetables not properly cooked. Large doughy pizzas with insufficient toppings. This was poor food at restaurant prices. Don't go

Quite busy for an early Tuesday evening. We were quickly shown to our table and our drink orders taken. The staff were pleasant and efficient. We ordered potato skins which were cooked well and a decent size portion, though the tomato dip is very spicy!! The main we ordered half pizza half pasta, again decent size portions and the pizza was delicious, both the base and the topping. The meal represented great value as we had a groupon offer but even without it we would return again and pay the regular price, it was an ideal pre cinema meal.

We went on a Saturday evening and it was not very full, i can see why now. My starter was ok but can not go wrong with a tomato and mozzarella salad. My partner had the smallest brushetta we have ever seen, bad value for money, two tiny pieces of bread with chopped tomato on, he was not impressed. He wanted the lasagne but the waitress said they did not have any left, why didnt the chef just make one then? we both said our pasta dishes were bland and tasteless, mine was supposed to have chilli in but there was no taste of chilli at all. Waitress was very attentive and frendly. I will not be rushing back in a hurry.

Well just finished a staff night out and to honest this place was terrible. We waited approximately 10 mins for drink order to be taken and to be told that many of the drinks were not on eg strongbow etc starters were okay can't complainMains were a joke pizzas!!!!!?!?!?!?! themselves were nice but they left someone in our group waiting 30 mins for food whilst the rest finished their pizzas. The manager came over and escalated the situation further. Inexperience and immaturity spring to mind here. The staff then called the police which was a joke as we were only asking where one of our friends meals were as it had been literally 30 mins between first pizza and last for a table of 12. It seems a common error in this place but really the police called. We paid our bill reluctantly as the police watched on but what a mistake as the managers kept her evil hawk eyes on us the whole time. Fair play they took a few things off the bill but it was still a waist of time. Ruined by lack of experience and professionalism. Avoid at all cost!!! Especially if you want a fun relaxing night out !!!!!!!!!! 0/10 stars

Terrible service! Such a shame as the food was quite nice. Waited 20 min for someone to take our order although the waitress looked across 4/5 times and carried on re-setting tables. Apparently they had had a busy lunch but there was us and 1 other table in. Eventually ordered food and when it came out pizza wasn't as described on the menu and I received the wrong pasta. Wen I told the manager was told to carry on eating my pizza whilst they cooked another pasta which was disappointing as I expected to eat them together. Anyway 15 min late my pasta came out scorching hot and my family member and son had finished their meals as I was just starting the other half of mine. There was no cutlery on the table so I had to help myself to cutlery from another table. The manager sat around chatting with the waiting staff and no attention was paid to any of the customers. Worst customer service I've received in a very long time. Will never go back or recommend anyone else does.

Visited Nino's on a groupon voucher. The night before I rang to book a table as instructed in the voucher conditions. I originally asked for a table at 6 but the female I spoke to asked if we could come in at 5.45 which I agreed to. After having to spell out my surname twice I thought everything was sorted. We arrived at the restaurant a little before 5.45. I advised the waitress that I had reserved a table and gave the surname. Her response wad "we don't have a reservation under that name, however we have one for Paul". At the ripe old age of 47 I think I know my name or should I have just been Paul for the night??? After checking with the manager she came back and said we could have a table and that it was the manager who had took the booking. Number 1 - big of you to give me a table which I had already booked. Number 2 - if the manager makes the booking error does that make everything ok??? Food was ok but there are better Italians to choose from in Newcastle

I visited on a Saturday evening with a group of friends. I usually visit for lunch when shopping in town with my sister and go for the happy hour menu which has always been fine previously. The waitress was new and couldn't spell anything so my sister nearly got a piña colada instead of a Pepsi. We waited 25 mins for the drinks to come and even longer for the starters. The starters were the only enjoyable part of the evening. The restaurant was almost empty and I can see why now. I ordered salmon which was so over cooked you had to chew it and the risotto which accompanied it was gloopy and tasteless. The most disappointing part was the manager who replied "well that's how we cook it here" but that's not how it should be cooked anywhere! My friend's pasta dish with king prawns was tasteless and the prawns were so hard you couldn't cut through them!Either very poor quality, frozen or the chef is unable to cook fish. We did have both dishes taken off the bill but it ruined the evening and the manager could do with a course in customer service skills. I don't think I will be visiting again!

After taking in a movie at The Gate Vue, Newcastle, we called into Ninos Italian restaurant. It was busy and we were seated quickly. We ordered from the main menu and were served drinks quickly. Our starters were not far behind and were tasty. I ordered a classic Calzone and would recommend it 1000%. It was very filling and crammed full. I have had that dish in main different places and countries and that's been the best. The rest enjoyed their pizzas and we were very happy with the overall cost for three with drinks. Although it wasn't particularly busy, our party of six waited 10 mins to get out drinks order taken. It then took a further 15 mins for our drinks to arrive and our food order to be taken. Thirty mins for food to arrive and there was a combination of opinions from our group - pizzas were okay, pasta was below standard - not generous portions and the Pesto Chicken Penne contained only three small pieces of chicken - for just under £10. At no time were we asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. Staff seemed pre-occupied with chatting at the bar.

I had never been to Nino's before and as we were going out for my leaving lunch, someone else suggested it so I just went along with it. I was not really sure what to expect because I am not a huge Italian cuisine fan and I did not want to end up paying a lot of money for something that I would not eat. However, I was very surprised at how nice the food was and how little the food cost. My colleagues and I went in at lunch time and the restaurant was quiet. I love the way that it has been decorated and the use of light and space to give the restaurant an airy feel that whisks you away to Italy and a million miles away from Newcastle. As we were there for lunch, we were able to take advantage of a 'half and half' deal which is something that I had never heard of or seen before. It is where you have the option of having a smaller portion of two dishes rather than one large portion of one. I went for Pesto Chicken and Meatball Pizza. The food was served by a happy, polite and professional waitress who was incredibly accommodating and efficient. She gave us enough time to order without being pushy and when the food arrived, she served it to us with minimum fuss and without interrupting our conversation. The food was hot, tasted delicious and I ate the lot. I could taste all of the individual ingredients and it tasted like it was prepared with love by someone who knew what they were doing. I could not believe that it only cost around £6-£7 for food of that high quality when I have eaten worse for less. The restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in the corner of the gate on the first floor. The restaurant is large and spacious, atmospheric and uncluttered which means that you can enjoy your food and conversation without feeling claustrophobic or having to shout. The staff and the service was excellent and the food was amazing. It was a brilliant way for me and my colleagues to enjoy our final lunch together. It may not have been my first choice but it will be a choice I consider next time I am peckish and in the Gate.

We both had half and half from the happy hour menu. pizza was soggy in the centre and had to mix the pasta into the sauce that seemed to be all at the bottom of the dish. Definitely not the nicest Italian by a mile and won't go back here as there are other, nicer places to eat. Waiting staff nothing to shout home about either. We have been big fans over Ninos for a few years but last nights experience has cemented the view that the place is seriously going downhill. We arrived just after 5pm to an almost empty restaurant. The waitress was cheerful enough and took our order. We ordered wine and drinks arrived promptly. The food, when it arrived, was hugely disappointing. My half marinara pizza was dripping in grease and the arrabiata pasta was tasteless - certainly not the chilli kick I've had previously. The waitress agreed with me the pizza "looked wet" and offered a replacement but we had tickets booked for the theatre and I didn't want another long wait for sub standard food. We were unable to pay by card and we weren't advised about this until the bill arrived - another annoyance. Very disappointing experience in what used to be a favorite restaurant.

I have been going to Nino's for a couple of years with friends. Service has been a bit hit or miss sometimes, as there have been occasions where I've had to wait quite a while for my food, or to get the attention of the staff for a drink refill, which often leaves you feeling a bit stranded in the restaurant. But, what brings me back is the decent food at decent prices, particularly their happy hour deals, both of which are very reliable. The meals I've had there, pasta, pizza and risotto have always been nice. Last time I went was a couple of weeks ago with a friend for a bite to eat before seeing a film. I had half margherita pizza with half a bowl of pasta carbonara, which came out relatively fast. It was a good meal, and the portions are very generous. The food is not 'out-of-this-world' amazing, but it is definitely reliable. The biggest drawback for me about Nino's is the drinks. The glasses they give you for tap water are quite small, which isn't great when you're eating a dish that is quite salty or spicy, and it's not always easy to get the staff's attention for a refill - whatever you're drinking. In all, Nino's is a solid restaurant, and definitely one of the best places to eat at the Gate.

Last night the food took a while to arrive and had obviously been left to cool before it arrived with us. I rushed to eat my pasta dish as it was luke warm and my husbands chips were cold! At the end of the meal a trip to the toilet provided a clean toilet but I don't think the floor had been cleaned for a long time. Very dirty. Was here on Saturday night as part of a work leaving do. Staff were very patient as a lot of people turned up late with the horrendous weather, actually coming from work etc. If you're a woman and are wearing high heels be VERY CAREFUL walking in, the floor tiles are extremely smooth and therefore slippy in heel. A few of us skidded walking in and we were terrified to stand up and go to the toilet incase we skidded again. The waitress admitted they'd had a few accidents cos of it. Not good really. Other than that the place was nice. Food was nice and we were served in good time considering there was loads of us. I had the parma ham and pineapple pizza, nice but not amazing. I'd probably go again if it wasn't for the fact that it's in the Gate. I haven't been there for a few years and was surprised to see hoards of rough people. It's getting like the Bigg Market in there! And the area just at the entrance was like running a gauntlet of drunken horrors. I'd recommend going there for lunch and not on a night!

Me and my mum have visited here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the food. The quality has never waivered, the portions are a good size, and theories of always full of flavour and freshly made. You can tell the pizza and pasta is made on the premises and knocks spots of many other 'Italian' restaurants. We had half pizza and salad today which was idea for lunch, and the salad was a proper dressed salad not some lettuce. Great value, great food.

Judging by the smart, clean look of the restaurant I had high hopes for this place but as my title suggests they were soon dashed. There's a fair amount of choice on the menu but unfortunately the food is nothing to write home about and the waiters are clumsy and inattentive. To start with our order wasn't read back (which always increases the chances of something going wrong). Different waiters were coming to the table. After sitting with empty glasses for a while my friend asked for some water which then went to the wrong table. (We noticed this rather then them. Meaning we had to order it again). Looking round we didn't seem to be the only people who weren't offered more drinks though. Add that to the fact there was no recommendations, specials or upsells they're missing every trick in the book for providing a more personal service and maximising sales. No check backs were made on the food. Which would of subsequently been useful considering my pasta came out wrong. After making it obvious that we were wanting to leave we still had to ask for the bill. All this would of been understandable if the place was busy but it was dead when we arrived and at best a third full when we left. The food itself came out quick and wasn't too bad but unfortunately the sloppy boring service spoilt it for us. Perhaps if the staff spent more time on the floor rather then talking to each other at the till they would look after their customers better. Needless to say we won't be rushing back in a hurry.

Myself and a friend popped into Nino after always noticing it, but never giving it a whirl. It was happy hour, so we thought we'd get ourselves a good deal. How wrong we were.We weren't greeted when we arrived and when we asked to sit at a certain table, we were firmly told 'you can't, it hasn't been cleaned!' The waitress handed us menus and didn't explain the deal nor take a drinks order. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, a waiter then took our drinks order, but no food order. So we waited and waited..Eventually another waitress took our food order. My friend ordered the chicken and pancetta pasta with salad and I ordered the bolognese pizza with chips. The food came out within approximately 3 minutes and after tasting it, we could tell why. Should've just went to Pizza Hut or better yet, Tesco for a couple of their Italian Microwave meals.Didn't get checked back on.Drinks weren't topped up.Staff were standing around doing bugger all.Table wasn't cleared before getting the bill (which we had to shout over the restaurant for).Waited about 15 minutes for our change. She explained not long. Another 20 mins passed and I asked again she said not long I asked for time in mins she said 5 max and apologised offering us drinks. I said we would all love a complimentary drink but would not be paying for extra drinks because we had been made to wait almost an hour for food. 57 mins after ordering our food and complimentary drinks arrived. It's such a shame as although the food is pricey for an Italians it's delicious.

After a day shopping in town we decided to visit Nino's ive ate here a few times b4 and i can say not much has changedOur starters were quite poor calamari was bland and swimming in some sought of "sauce"... Garlic mushrooms were bland chicken wings had too much pepper on. Garlic bread lacked garlicOne person in our group ordered a surf and turf medium to well done sirloin steak when it arrived it was minus the prawn when we questioned the waitress she simply said do u want a bowl of prawns to which we replied no she would like the meal she asked for so the waitress took away her meal and said it should be about 10mins by the time her new meal arrived we had nearly finished our meals and Her steak was Rare!!!I opted for half and half italliano pizza and Arribiatta...the pizza was overly salty and the arribiatta lacked flavour and was very lukewarmWe were told that the surf and turf would be taken off the bill which we appricated however on receivin our bill we found items we did not have Fairly poor experience Average food...Shame really put a dampner on our day

I often go to Ninos at least 2 or 3 times a month regular customer right here! The atmosphere is quiet and lovely. I mainly come for the Happy Hour service where you can choose from their half and half choices, which is such good value for money. I think the menu offers a great selection of vegetarian choices too. I always get half salmon pasta and fries - never lets me down. Their dessert specifically their ice creams are heaven. As I come here often the waitresses/waiters recognize me and are really friendly and welcoming.

It was pretty quiet at 7ish on a Monday evening, so plenty of places to sit. We explained that we had seats in the cinema for 8 and the waitress advised us on what on the menu would be quickest. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food and wine arrived promptly and we were all done by 8 o'clock without being rushed. The sauce and the meatballs were delicious.

Had always seen this place but never visited and, I'm sad to say, will not visit again. We arrived at around 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and we're seated quickly. We were then not asked about our drinks for quite a while but this wasn't an issue as we ordered our food and drinks together this way. Our drinks arrived promptly. We then sat waiting for our meals and we had been waiting about 20 minutes with food constantly coming out. I was sure some of the custoners came in after us but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then the couple behind us got served and I knew they came in at leat 15 minutes after us and by this time we had been waiting around 30-40 minutes. So, I stopped the waitress and asked politely if she knew what had happened to our food. She just said 'oh, i'll check' and then disappeared. We waited about another 10 minutes. No one came over to explain and the lady I asked didn't even come back which I would have done myself having worked as a waitress before. My fiance had view of the bar and said he saw them suddenly pull the paper our order was on off the bar and take it into the kitchen so we assume it was just never acactually ordered. But we got no explanation. The waiter said sorry when it arrived but no explanation and it was sort of an aside. Other people were checked on while eating as is customary, but we were not. When we were done, we asked for the bill from the same waiter who had taken our order. He disappeared and came back, cleaned tables, milled around but we had no bill after a considerable wait. In the end we went to pay at the bar as we were tired of waiting and we had already wasted over an hour. Some sort of apology or explanation would have been nice. Everyone else seemed to be served fine but we felt very ignored and undervalued and thus will not be returning or recommending this to anyone.

Decided to try Nino's for lunch with friends as recommended for the tasty pizza's and was not disappointed. The garlic bread starter and the mushroom pizza were very tasty and the pasta dish went down well too. All three of us chose the eton mess for desert and were only charged for two of them as the waitress explained they thought there was not enough fruit for all three. A bottle of rose completed our lunch catchup. The restaurant was quite empty for a Thursday lunchtime so there was not much of an atmosphere but the service was fine and it was an ok place for a chat and catchup with friends. We will have to go again in the evening to get a proper feel of the place.

I will start by saying the last time we visited Ninos we were a little disappointed and had therefore been a little reluctant to return.... However, tonight was a pre-cinema treat!Service was prompt and polite, the food was really beautiful. My partner had pizza and carbonara, our boys had pizza - all were declared delicious! Slight problem with my order which was rectified immediately and I was given a glass of wine on the house. We had a great relaxed dinner and will definitely be back!

Just had lunch here today with a friend. We had the calamari to start which was not breaded really soft but served in a garlic kinda soup. The calamari was gorgeous but not so keen on the soup that it was served in. I had the calzone which came with a little gravy boat of a tomato sauce but it didnt need it as there is tomato inside the pizza anyway. It was delicious. My friend had the arrabiata pasta which was also very nice and we had a bottle of house merlot which was very nice. We finished with an irish coffee which was also delicious. The meal came to £50 for the 2 of us so a bit expensive for a lunchtime menu but there is an option on the menu for a happy hour cheaper menu which would have been cheaper had we not had the bottle of wine :-) which i think was about £15.00 overall though nice food clean restaurant and very attentive staff

We popped in here for something to eat before going to a gig at the O2 round the corner. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas we had - very nice. Did not really expect such a decent pizza in a place like The Gate so was pleasantly surprised. My wife was not too pleased with the risotto though. Would certainly go again (bit not for risotto)

Popped in on a Monday lunchtime and was pleased to see it was busy, but it was the summer holidays.Ordered a couple of pizzas, which were amazing and amongst the best I've tasted, with crispy bases and great toppings, french fries were undercooked, white and soggy.Could do with a quicker service and more waiting staff.Toilets stank.

Never having eaten at a Ninos before, I was really looking forward to this meal. The restaurant was almost empty - aside from my partner and I, there was one other couple and a hen party of around 14.The waitress who took our order was unenthusiastic to the point of boredom - she clearly didn't want to be there and made no effort to mask this. Although the food came quickly, it was nothing special - My bolognese pizza tasted fine buy was very thin and a little soggy.A different waitress gave us the bill and took our payment, and this one was even more surly than the first. Perhaps they were just bored by such a quiet night! To top off a rather disappointing meal, my partner was quite violently ill in the night - whilst it's not certain that it was this meal, it has to be said that aside from this, we had eaten the same things all day, and I was thankfully fine.

Me and some friends went here as a 'hangover munch' after a hen night. We only choose here as we had 10% off but very glad we did.I had the chicken arrabiata which was lovely! And my friends had calzones, they were very good, and massive, they struggled to eat them. The price was surprisingly cheap, especially for the quality, even without the 10% off.Service was good, and it was definitely a even better choice than expected.

Food was excellent , on par with Niño s Jesmond which we frequently go to. We bought a Groupon for the Gate which is meant to open at 11.30 but we couldn't go until 12. The girl immediately said I'll tell you about the Groupon' before we had even sat down. She then proceeded to tell us what we couldn't have! Her manner was apauling! She even leaned across the table to get the coupon off the table which was under my purse next to. No asking just reached over and helped herself. We ordered food and the two blonde waitresses who took our order and served us were lovely. They were polite and friendly.I know we had a Groupon but this should not be at the detriment of the service. Surely the whole point of them is to get returning custom? My advice, don't go and pop across the mall to Frankie and Bennys!

As of late I have begun to tire of the endless stream of Italian restaurants that we, as the ever cherished consumer, seem to be bombarded with. This veritable cornucopia of Trattorias showcases the fact that Italian cuisine remains high amongst the favourite haunts for the chronic restaurant frequenters, as indeed it should. However, whilst we are spoilt for choice, it is undeniable that, as the number of Italian establishments increase, so too does the difficulty in finding one of any real worth. For this reason, throughout the past few months, I have either been seriously disappointed or casually indifferent whenever I have had the pleasure of eating at yet another Pizzeria. Unfortunately, I have to say that it started off on a somewhat less than positive note. Upon entering, my partner and I were asked if we required a table for two. After answering in the affirmative, the young waitress then proceeded to walk away without a word. I assumed that we were required to follow, and follow we did. It turns out that she was in fact showing us to our table so a scene in which we ended up following her into the loo was not played out for the general relief of all involved. After we had been served our respective Coca-Cola refreshments (which were as flat as my toilet joke above) we were asked if we were ready to order. Herein follows what we deigned to feast on:Starters: Garlic Bread with Mozzarella Bread and OlivesMain: 2 Pizza Margharita (their spelling, not mine) with two side portions of chips.Deserts: Three Scoops each of different flavoured ice-cream (Total Bill: £37.60)Whilst the cheesy garlic bread was as promised, i.e. cheesy and garlicky, the olives were somehow sub par. As starters go I can't imagine where one can go wrong with olives, as the amount of preparation needed is minimal. In any case, they were almost unbearably salty and I had difficulty in finishing them. The main courses were much more satisfying. The pizzas had been cooked for just the right amount of time and the tomato-to-cheese ratio had been meticulously well measured out. I'm afraid to say that the time spent on perfecting the Margherita pizzas seemed to have been taken from the care put in to preparing the chips, however. In short, I was served chopped raw potato. Four or five of them were edible, but by the time I reached the bottom of the bowl I might as well have been digging through soil so fresh and ripe were the chips. When I informed the waitress that I couldn't eat said fries, she said:"Well you've already eaten most of them, what do you want me to do?"The lack of an apology almost stunned me into silence. When I had recovered my wits I replied:"Do whatever you think is best"As we had finished, she cleared the table and after a brief conversation with what I assume was her manager she returned to tell me that the chips had been taken off the final bill.At this point I was ready to forgive and forget, everyone makes mistakes after all, right? More fool me. What money and dignity we saved in sending back the chips we paid for in the half-an-hour that we waited for six scoops of ice cream to be served in a half full restaurant. I guess they showed me.

Service was non existent - food was hot, but delivered with no comment and no commitment to our experience. Our comments were met with the standard, disinterested, 'Sorry about that'We had gone on a gifted Groupon voucher - maybe that was the problem - wouldn't bother with the place and I suggest you don't use it if you have a Groupon offer.

We went here for lunch, 4 of us with two Groupon vouchers which entitled us to a pizza or pasta each and a drink... we ordered out 4 mains and 4 drinks (simple.. that was what the voucher covered) however, we noticed on the blackboard that you could buy two starters for £6.25 so we ordered 4 = £12.50 when the waitress came to take our order we gave her the vouchers and enquired which starters were included on the 'happy hour' board deal, she explained to us and took our order. The food arrived and was average (it would have been less than average if we had been paying the normal price), anyhow, when we got the bill it had 4 individual starters at full price meaning that instead of paying £12.50 for 4 we were paying £24.00 for 4 average starters, we called to the waitress and she said oh you cant have yr starters on the two for £6.25 as you used a Groupon voucher for yr main course???? In astonishment I asked for the manager to question this as the starters were a complete separate thing to the voucher deal... no manager came across but a miserable looking young girl was consulted at the bar and the waitress re-appeared with a corrected bill, when I took the money to the counter I said to her, that was silly what you were trying to make us pay... with attitude she rolled her eyes and said 'well I changed it didnt I, its not my fault if you dont understand the rules of the Groupon deal!! It seemed there was more staff than customers which didnt make for a very nice atmosphere as they were just standing propping the end of the bar up! I've noticed on Trip Advisor that a few people have had to query their bill in this place so BEWARE! Its Sambucas standard food for 4 or 5 times the price :(

Called in for an evening meal and it was fairly quiet and the service was great - staff were very pleasant. The menu has almost too much choice but there were no healthier options such as salad which is what I really wanted. To start I had garlic mushrooms which stated that they came with bruschetta on the menu. When they came out, there was a bowl of garlic mushrooms and what appeared to be half a piece of burnt toast and not bruschetta. The garlic mushrooms were overpowered by vast quantities of garlic which is fine if you can stomach the taste. The "bruschetta" was just like overdone toast and rather uninspiring. I settled on the half pizza, half pasta option for my main (which is a brilliant idea for the indecisive! More restaurants should offer that!) and it was good value for money. I'd opted for carbonara pasta and a bolognese pizza. The pasta wasn't that great and was far too over-garnished with herbs and not that creamy but the pizza was better. The portion sizes are very generous so you really do get your money's worth, it's just a shame the quality of the food wasn't a bit higher.

Took a chance on happy hour here on Monday. The prices are very reasonable for a lunch menu and it looks nice from outside. Once seated we received our drinks fairly quickly and began to consider the menu. We decided quickly to go for the salad and the half pasta and chips. However we waited and waited for our order to be taken despite the restaurant only being half full. Eventually our order was taken by a pleasant staff member. The food arrived promptly and it was very delicious. I have read some negative reviews on here and I can honestly say the only problem was a little bit of slow service which for me was not a huge problem. The price was very good and overall we enjoyed the experience for lunch.

I’ll start with WOW! Easily the best steak I’ve ever eaten out in the UK. Blows other steak house restaurants around Newcastle out of the water. We recently spent some time in Argentina and the food is very authentic. Service was impeccable too. Special mentions to Angela who went above and beyond for us. Can not wait to come back and will be raving and recommending to everyone I know. A real great spot.
