The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Visited for the first time last night as part of a small family meal. Staff very friendly, and a nice venue, although very noisy i think due to the high ceilings and open plan layout. The food was nice. Not amazing, but not bad. A little overpriced. Probably wouldn't go back sadly.

We came for a meal with family, three of us had pizza and two of us had pasta with garlic bread. The last time I visited must have been over 7 years ago, and the menu didn't appear to have changed which is a shame. I ended up ordering the same pasta dish I had previously (linguine genovese). Overall I would say the food was average. The pizzas weren't anything special, and the quality of the toppings could have been better. Equally the pasta dishes were average, if a bit boring. The garlic bread was delicious though! It would be nice to see some different things on the menu and perhaps some additional ingredients to some of the pasta dishes.

Our dining experience at Cona was nothing short of exceptional truly unforgettable from start to finish. We indulged in their 3-course Sunday roast, complemented by a few additional starters and sides, each dish reflecting the impeccable quality and care put into the food. To begin, we ordered the Wagyu Quesabirria and the Truffle Tagliolini. The Quesabirria were outstanding, crispy on the outside, with tender, melt in your mouth wagyu inside, perfectly paired with chimichurri and chili dips that elevated the flavours even further. The Tagliolini was rich and velvety, with the earthy aroma of truffle and the sharpness of parmesan coming together in a luxurious, comforting dish. We couldn't resist a second starter, the Chicken and Mushroom Lasagna. While mushrooms aren’t usually a favourite of mine, the presentation and refinement of the dish won me over. It was delicate yet full of depth a true testament to the chef’s craft. For the mains, we got the Salt Marsh Lamb and the Corn-Fed Chicken. Both came accompanied by a generous serving of wagyu fat-roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich, flavourful gravy. The lamb was perfectly cooked (i got medium), and the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. We also added sides of Truffle Mac and Cheese and Truffle Mash, both indulgent, creamy, and packed with flavour. The mac and cheese, in particular, had the most satisfying cheese pull! To finish, we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding with clotted cream and a Chocolate Fondant paired with salted caramel ice cream. The desserts were, in all honesty, the highlight of the meal. The sticky toffee pudding is an absolute must try, warm, gooey, and deeply satisfying. For drinks, we went with a dragonfruit and a strawberry mocktail, both vibrant, refreshing, and noticeably fresh. These were no ordinary mocktails! The service was flawless throughout, attentive staff, quick table resets between courses, and a sense of fine dining without the pretense. Cona effortlessly combines minimalist design with elegant touches, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. If you’re in Bradford, this is a culinary destination you don’t want to miss!

Friendly and accommodating staff, and the food was delicious. The kids menu was perfect for my children and offered lots of choice.

Amazing place we had dinner, everyone was kind, easy communication, tasty outstanding Italian dining experience.

Very pleased with the food until the Chef walked through the dining area with what can only be called a dirty grey Chef's jacket, they come in White and you use an appron for safety first and to keep the jacket clean, to the owners of no 32 I would send him on a hygiene course, I was head Chef for over 20 years and never did I look so dirty as him.

One of the only Italians in the area open on a Sunday night but we really enjoyed the food. We ordered pastas and they were extremely tasty. The service was friendly though a little relaxed.

This used to be our pre cinema restaurant, we booked a table for 4 for 5.30, we ordered pre meal drinks, at 6.20 we ordered our meal, my wife fancied a dish on the smaller menu only to be told by the abrupt waitress that the smaller menu ended at 6pm and that there where notices displayed saying so, from our table we could not see one notification ito inform us of that, why not just print this on the smaller menu or remove the smaller menu from the table at 6pm our bill of £141 pound arrived and we where not aware that a 10% staff tip was involved, luckily we picked up on this and asked for a revised bill, we still left a cash tip for the nice younger waitress, who was excellent, our next and future pre cinema meals will be had further down Stockport road,

We stopped in last minute for dinner with our 2 very hungry young kids (4 and 1). We didn't have a booking and it was a Saturday night. The team made us feel so welcome, finding a table for us, and getting the food on the table super quick. They were lovely with the kids. We were made to feel very welcomed. Plus the food was delicious - kids and adults food alike. Thanks to the team for a great evening. Highly recommend!

Es la primera vez que visito Regginas, pero sin duda volveré de nuevo y ahora pensando en reservar una ocasión de 40 cumpleaños familiar allí. Había escuchado diferentes opiniones con el principal negativo (también leyendo en Tripadvisor) es que era caro para lo que tienes. No era el más barato, pero se obtiene lo que paga y los 4 de nosotros tenía comida de calidad y una gran cantidad, así que no se quejaría en absoluto del precio. ¡Pero eso no significa que ahora puedan subir los precios! El lugar en sí tenía un buen ambiente y no estábamos sentados en los regazos de los comensales adyacentes que se ve en algunos establecimientos para abarrotar tantas cubiertas como sea posible. No tuvimos prisa de ninguna manera y el servicio fue excelente Una crítica sería que cuando nos leyeran los especiales, preferiríamos ver un tablero de Especiales con el precio. Uno de nuestros invitados tenía el pez tew y le encantó btw

Very nice Mother’s Day 3 course menu meal. Delicious food and great service. Relaxing environment

On arrival we were shown to our table. A server came to take our order. It all arrived at the same time, starters and mains, which was strange to me? Through out our whole time sat there, not one server came over to ask wether our food was ok or if we needed more drinks etc? The food itself wasn't great, The chicken served looked an tasted horrible, chips were tasteless, coleslaw was just shredded veg and salad was poor. They may have had a busy day with it being Mothers day but that's no excuse for poor service!! We went after 5pm an it wasn't overly busy? I certainly won't be going back and won't be recommending it to anyone!!
