Excellent hidden gem 💎 for unique Italian food 🤤 a bit expensive but it’s probably because of the location. The restaurant is very cosy and it’s also a wine 🍷 bar . Dog 🐕 friendly and cater to gluten free too !

Wanted something nice for three of us, one veggie one who only likes traditional food and one who doesn't like two spicy. Found something on menu for all of us reasonably priced.

The whole meal was awful. The owners and staff were very short with the young girls who were new to the job. Fishcakes were not nice and tasteless. Lasagne, was bitter and pasta was very thick and under cooked. Service was slow and no one asked and checked on our food. Will not be returning.

I had a wonderful meal at Avanti, a cosy and authentic Italian restaurant in Jesmond. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and warm. I started with the meatballs, which were juicy and flavourful, served with a rich tomato sauce and bread. For the main course, I had the lasagna, which was one of the best I've ever had. It was layered with tender pasta, creamy béchamel, and a generous amount of cheese and meat. It was very filling and satisfying. I finished with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a cup of coffee, which were the perfect end to a delicious meal. I would highly recommend Avanti to anyone looking for a great Italian dining experience in Newcastle.

The food was mediocre, the staff were too conceited for the derelict location and The decoration was also tired, it made the atmosphere completely dead.

Always a great meal- the staff are amazing and so friendly, and the food is delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant has a magic about it; the cliantele always seem to be animated creating a happy and friendly atmosphere. The waiting staff are equally fun, friendly and accomodating. All in all, it is an enjoyable eating experience and makes one want to go back again and again.

This afternoon I went to casa italia and I ordered two hot chocolate. I already know this place, and as soon as I entered no greeting, no one seat you in the table, all the tables are creammed each other and the lady seated us in a small table where I was tight with someone sitting behind me, but very close to me that I barely move. So I moved to another table myself. The hot chocolate came and it was good, but not too good as the Italian hot chocolate must to be tick and the hot chocolate I had was pale and milky, but the taste was good. The price for two hot chocolate was exaggerate 8 pounds. No customer service at all, no prices displayed in the items they sell and all the tables were dirty. It is a small place. It is not difficult clean 4 small tables and if you do this job, you must have a good customer service. I work in a restaurant and I know very well the job. This was my third time in domus italia and things hasn't change. I won't come back
