Fun, delicious, great atmosphere

We have been coming here for years as the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We really love the atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I particularly love the Penne Campagnola and the home made gelato is the best! There are always lots of lovely new flavours!

We held our annual charity quiz night at Rialto last night with every table fully occupied. The staff were all super helpful, very efficient and friendly. The buffet food was excellent in quality and quantity. We will hopefully be returning again soon. Thank you to all Rialto staff.

I went to the Rialto Lounge for a charity quiz. . The restaurant was full and the staff managed brilliantly with the demands on them. The food was filling and tasty and the ambience was perfect. Highly recommended.

We come regularly as the food is great and they are so welcoming to us and generous with our son. The gelato is excellent and I always enjoy the pizza. We are normally here early so it's a bit quiet but when we've been later in the evening, it is a fun night out. Thoroughly recommended!

Had an awesome meal with the family in Rialto today. Service great and food fantastic. Pizzas are a great size and super tasty, I had the calabrese which is great. Others in our group had pasta and seafood also and gave rave reviews for this. Also a wonderful range of ice cream flavours. Really love it here and will be back soon!

We used Rialto for catering on set as we were shooting a film in Dorking. The food, service and communication was amazing! They catered for all our dietary requirements including vegan, veggie, gluten free and other allergies. Couldn't recommend them enough! We had a very happy crew post lunch :)

Very good food service and decor and atmosphere

My first time at this Italian. I am half Italian and grew up eating delicious Italian home cooked food, which has since made it difficult for me to find local Italian places to eat that put a smile on my face. This one really did I'm very happy to say. Authentic Italian food that tasted like it was cooked with Italian passion. It is quite expensive but that won't put me off going back. The only thing missing for me, was complimentary fresh bread on the table - in Italy, this is the way it is and I missed it. I loved the atmosphere, and the split personality between ice cream parlor, and homely cosy restaurant. Highly recommend

Very good value; reasonably priced and generous portions too. I have been many times and will continue to do so.

We have visited the Rialto several times in recent years and I never cease to be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food cooked, the portion size, pricing and overall experience. Whilst it was busy this past Saturday evening, it deserves to be packed. These local independent restaurants need all the support they can get and when they are this good you have to book a meal with them.

I loved it.. All genuine Italian food beautifully but simply prepared by the family. Caring and attentive staff and very reasonable prices at the low end of the menu. Best whitebait I have tasted in years, not just unfrozen. Liver & bacon also superb as was the spaghetti al vongole.. good omelette as well.. fellow guests reported.Easy parking too. I shall be going again ere long!

Nice Italian eatery; accommodated gluten and dairy allergens. Most of the staff were very friendly; just one stick-in-the-mud caused some tension with her attitude.

We both said the worst meal we have ever had.the garlic bread you could snap as so hard the pepperoni pizza was like a cheap one you get out of a box.Nothing like a Italian Restaurant...would Not go back. Shame

Been a while since I last ate here. Friendly welcome and good service. I had the Palma ham and melon starter, a very generous portion. Main was duck with mash and brocoli. Again a very good sized meal, broccoli a vibrant colour and nicely cooked.

Another lovely evening spent at Rialto in Dorking…a great menu, attentive staff and yummy homemade gelato. We had the lovely Halyna look after us and nothing was too much trouble. Always great to support a local, independent and unique Italian restaurant. Even better if you hold a loyalty card.

I haven’t been here for a while, and I admit to being very fussy about good ice cream (I make my own). We popped in Saturday night and I tried the pomegranate ice, and was surprised and delighted by how good it was. Will certainly come back to try some others

As we approached the restaurant I wasn’t expecting such a rich interior, filled with Italian elements, this elevated our experience dining here.The menu was vast and filled with a variety of dishes to cater for all pallets.The service was prompt and fantastic, more so towards the beginning of our meal as it wasn’t as busy,nonetheless we were well cared for. Our meals were cooked well and could taste the quality of the ingredients. What really impressed me was the quality and taste of the sorbet and gelato, the best I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend and will be dining here again.

Really average takeaway pizza. Ordered a couple with rocket and it was soggy old leaves. Had chicken wings to start and they were tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend to be honest.

Absolutely delicious food, very welcoming and staff are lovely. It's a small seating area but truly lovely. Dine in, take away is an option and there is an additional two tables situated outside the front of the restaurant. Rialto also sell an amazing array of ice creams, I am never disappointed with the ice cream flavours sold, all made by them I believe and flavours change weekly. I always visit and there is never a disappointing visit.

A very enjoyable experience the service, the food, and the atmosphere was very good.

We were a family of four, with very different needs. Nonna, 13 year old birthday boy and two adults, We were greeted by a warm, kind intellegent waitress who was Ukranian - who spent time with us ordering and chatting through all the menu. `an amazing mother and generous lady. We had the seafood starter to share, King Prawns with garlic prawns, squid rings. Mains were Pepperoni pizza, meaty pizza, mushroom risotto with chicken, seafood risotto and 10/10 for a;ll. Thanked the Chefs for the amazing food and also the owner. Well the ice-cream sundaes also blew our minds - the warm friendly. kind family atmosphere and seriously amazed we have such an amazing restaurant in Dorking. Please go if you want wonderful food, family friendly and excellent food. Anyone who gives negative feedback, really does not understand the wonderfulness of this gem.

Best Gelato in Surrey all homemade

My partner and I are obsessed with the authentic gelato flavours at Rialto Lounge and it's become out local little treat, with always new flavours to discover and try out! We've sat in as well as had takeaway from here, and love the variety of authentic Italian dishes on offer and high standard of dishes! The staff are so welcoming and attentive, and the decor is lovely and so colourful! Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful evening at Rialto. We had a marvellous seafood risotto followed by wonderful homemade ice cream and excellent wine. The service - as always was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable evening as usual. Finally very good value for money

Had spaghetti bolognese & cheese garlic bread to take out. Both were delicious!Collected very quickly. A quiz night was taking place so very busy!

Went Sunday lunchtime for a family meal, wasn't too busy and seated promptly. My starters of Calamari were cooked perfectly, my daughter had garlic bread (very much like a flatbread) which I couldn't resist pinching a portion, and it tasted as good as it looked. For mains I chose the Seabass, was served with boiled new potato and roasted veg. The fish was cooked to perfection, very delicate flavoured; not usually a huge fan of new potatoes, but these were just right and a great accompaniment. Haven't been back for a while but well worth it, will visit again next time I'm in Dorking.

Best gluten-free pizza in Surrey, lovely staff. It's a great place. I wish they'd hand out handphones for annoying kids on tablets, but that's a small gripe in the face of great food and fab service

My wife and I popped in for lunch today; we both had the Sea Bass from the lunch menu - it was excellent, well cooked and very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful - thank you to everyone.

Best Italian restaurant in a ten mile radius? On that basis Dorking must be the Italian food blackspot of Europe. Travel ten miles, twenty even but don't eat here. This food completely lacked the instinctive flair, delicacy and great ingredients that I associate with good Italian food. I have Italian friends who can rustle up better food in twenty minutes with a couple of tins from the supermarket and basic cooks' ingredients. As for atmosphere, the little there was of it was soured by some very uncalled for rudeness from a waitress in response to a perfectly polite enquiry about dessert. Bear in mind that including the service charge in the bill should mean the management have taken steps to ensure the staff actually deserve it. If you find yourself desperate for Italian food in Dorking, with no means of transport, postpone your visit to the Rialto until you've seen it featured on a Gordon Ramsay show.

As a family of 5 we went and really enjoyed the food and the service here is good. This is the second time we have been. The children's make your own pizza is good. The quality of the pizza is above average and easily beats a poor mass market chain like Pizza express. A place that charges a ridiculous amount and who has some of the rudest worst waitresses I have ever come across in a restaurant. But that is the power of marketing. I would give Rialto's a try as an independent pizza place which actually offers good value for money and whose staff are polite, it deserves your custom far more than a rip off chain restaurant run by a Chinese hedge fund. The Ice creams here are also fantastic.

We visited with two of our grandchildren. The staff were friendly. The was a wide choice of options with pizza, pasta and main courses. I would recommend the seafood pasta, and my husband recommends the duck. The children loved the icecream.

We love this place with our young kids. Decent food, well priced and completely accommodating of young kids including plastic tableware. Our kids love the food especially the ice cream :)

Excellent spagetti bolognese. Pleasant place when not too busy

Booked for a team meal, mid week, late afternoon. 22 people. We were given a pre order scaled down menu which was fine. However, on arriving at the venue, it was apparent that we were expected to squeeze in around the tables so we were literally shoulder to shoulder (and I mean touching). A couple of colleagues arrived after us and it was a physical impossibility to get the chairs at the table. They knew how many were coming but didn't provide a relaxed seating arrangement. Food was OK, it's subjective so won't comment apart from the gelato puddings went down a storm, fabulous flavours on offer and very good value for money. Unfortunately, whilst the two waitresses were efficient in bringing the food out, they seemed to be lacking in enthusiasm and smiles, almost like we were an inconvenience. As we were so crammed in against the back wall, they were handing over boiling bowls of soup over the heads of colleagues opposite me. A local corporate booking worth hundreds of pounds, think we deserved better

We visited this restaurant in December around a theatre panto trip, unfortunately we couldn’t get into pizza express so tried here. It’s definitely not the locality for why it was empty. The pizza was wet and soggy, the waitresses poor and went to take out bread we paid for away as our meal arrived, and it was generally not great. The toilets are dated and that’s fine for some restaurants but this not great. We didn’t feel we could complain as Christmas spirit dictated not too and we aren’t complaining type but unfortunately not a great experience. Then just to top it off a 10% service charge included (albeit that you can decline it but let’s be honest you don’t feel you can especially at Christmas). Definitely wouldn’t re visit and advise a swerve on this one.

This is one of our go tos in Dorking for a work team lunch. I had the fantasia salad again which was so good as usual. The tiramisu was homemade and apparently extra special.

DONT GO HERE Dreadful won't go in here again food was very bad customer service was awful to asked the waiter telling her that the chips were black and gone off she literally grabbed my food and took it off in a really rude sighing manner clearly not happy with her job 😅 after that I said don't bother I'll leave horrible customer service and dreadful food

Good food, service got slow because they had more customers coming in, it was a random find and I am glad I did go in.

Had dinner here tonight...what a great evening ! Staff were absolutely delightful .food was delicious.. 4 of us had brilliant aroncini and fitto zucchini and olives..yummy main courses..pizza..porcini/funghi risotto with truffle oil...chicken with mozzarella and Parma ham and spaghetti carbona...no room for puds or the wonderful looking gelato ! Restaurant was bustly and fun..lots of families earlier on..very 'la famiglia'. Such lovely staff..we will be back very soon !
