Piazza Firenze in Mole Valley

Went with my family, and I was disappointed. The pasta portions were very small and my partner was still hungry after his main. My pasta dish was okay but lacked flavour. The pizza’s were quite good. It’s disappointing that this is the best Leatherhead has to offer, the dishes lacked flavour and there was nothing particularly memorable about them.

I don’t usually have anything else other than pizza takeaway from here for my lunch as they’re perfect and this restaurant is by far the best pizza around. I was eating in this time and I took my mum here for her Birthday, we were warmly welcomed on arrival and had a nice table to the side it was very busy with a great atmosphere. We both love red wine and we had a valpolicella and it was the perfect temperature. I ordered the Chicken on a bed of spinach & sauté potatoes in a mushroom sauce everything was cooked beautifully the sauce was perfect I really enjoyed this and my mum ordered the lasagna which was perfect tasty and she really enjoyed it. We shared the tiramisu and they added a candle for her birthday which was lovely, it was the lightest loveliest tiramisu we’ve had. This is a great restaurant for a large or small party we’ll be back to eat in again

The food is ok, but incredibly small portions for the price. A side of fries for £5.10! is smaller than a child's portion and very soggy, obviously been sitting out for a while. Checked the dine in menu and it's cheaper on there, so they've over charged me. The salami pizza was again soggy and had 2 pieces of salami per slice. The Melanzane was nice though just very small. Not a great place if you're hungry. The whole meal Just disappointing sadly.

Reasonable variety of pizza options, friendly and relatively quick service. Woke with an unsettled stomach the next morning.

What a fantastic Italian restaurant. Great service - swift and polite without being over bearing. I had the risotto, wow! Friend had Bolognese Calzone and that was absolutely gorgeous too. For dessert I had the chocolate and pistachio torte was which soft and delicate. Well recommended and will return if ever I'm in the area.

Last night we attended this restaurant with friends. We have never been before but want to support local businesses. Very pleased and we will be going back. The starters were tasty and fresh. I had a gluten free base pizza . Normally these don’t taste great and I avoid them when out, but this was the best I have ever had and so nice to have a pizza again. The staff were friendly and service was quick but not too fast. This restaurant is reasonable in price with good quality food. Thank you for a nice evening

Staff were swift, lovely with my nieces and attentive . Pizzas were in the shape of a fish for the children and tasted delicious. So unusual to find a pizza without a burnt crust !

Visited on a Monday evening whilst staying nearby and had a starter of bread and olive oil followed by the Tagliatelle ratatouille for main. Would certainly recommend it and a relative who lives in the area visits quite regularly for the authentic Pizza's.

Some of the worst pizza I’ve ever tried. Kids pasta served at varying temperatures. Very fast service but you’d be better off going to a crappy chain

Visited with work colleagues midweek, and the restaurant was busy. There is no air conditioning so the first hour was quite uncomfortable. The food was great and we had lovely service too. I opted for lasagna, house salad and a carafe of white wine, all great . All my colleagues enjoyed their meals too.

First time writing a review eventhough been coming here for a few years now. Never been dissappointed, just keeps getting better! Love the fact that staff remember our orders😁! Makes us feel so welcomed!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat during the recent football match and the place was understandably quiet… but this didn’t affect the service or the food. It’s a small menu with a decent selection of Italian standards. We all went for a pizza and they didn’t disappoint although the calzone was a little bland it was an impressive looking dish nonetheless. Let’s not forget the staff, who were brilliant.

Fabulous place, the staff are absolutely lovely and make you feel very welcomed. The food is delicious, and the puddings are insane (definitely rate the chocolate fudge cake!) definitely will be visiting again.

Outside looked tired but inside! Wow! Lovely warm welcome, wonderful food, really excellent. Would highly recommend and when in area again, will revisit. My brother and I loved it. Excellent chef!

Took our family of 5 here tonight. Food was really good. Staff were really attentive and looked after us well. Service was fast. The restaurant was not busy, but there was a really nice atmosphere.

We were a big group of 22, and we were all raving about our food, the service, atmosphere, everything! Definitely our favourite restaurant in Leatherhead. Some of our party had vegetarians, vegans and gluten free dietary requirements and they handled it perfectly.

Me and my friend came here for the first time last week and had the most AMAZING service/ food. The staff were so friendly and fast, they even gave us a glass of wine on the house after we’d finished our meal!! We came back again today and left feeling exactly the same - full, happy and high in spirits. Will definitely be coming back again soon! :)

Great service very friendly waiters, food came out quick and tasted delicious, great for the price. Only downside was the waiter disappeared for 15 minutes when we had finished our food and looking for the bill. Would definitely recommend

Once again I went to Firenze in Leatherhead and was in no way disappointed. I was surprised to find the same staff and the food was excellent. As usual I bought the chef a drink and he acknowledged that. THE ONLY SAD THING WAS THAT I WAS SAD TO HEAR THE OWNER HAD DIED 9 MONTHS AGO. BUT THE SON NOW OWNS THE RESTAURANT, THE SAME STAFF WERE ALSO THERE. The food was fantastic, the Service was extremely good. THE Restaurant began to fill up over the course of the evening. AND gradually filled up, which from my point of view was nice to see. I would add that I have not visited Firenze Restaurant in over 5 Years. BUT yes the staff knew me and laughed and joked with me. that either says something about the Restaurant, or me ? HOWEVER i moved from Fetcham to Cyprus, but now am back in England, but not Surrey but deep in East Sussex.

A good place for traditional pizza & pasta with a few Italian specialities. in centre of pedestrian area, near shops and theatre. Not too busy so good service.

Stopped b6 on spec with higher management on a Saturday lunchtime. The venue are providing reduced cost lunch time menus which are perfectly acceptable. Took the Seafood Spaghetti and drinks. Still excellent quality

We booked Piazza Firenze for a company celebration and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food was plentiful and really tasty, and we had a great event. Thoroughly recommended!

Just try pasta or pizza .lamb and chicken are really bad. Almost burnt but they call them crispy!!!

Stumbled across this place on a trip to Leatherhead a few years ago. Choosing to eat in this restaurant was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The food and service is exceptional. I usually go for the Calzone or Seafood Risotto, which are both reasonably priced. Having eaten here at least 20 times, the consistency of quality is impressive. The fact that I have to travel 20 miles to get to this restaurant, pretty much says it all. If you like Italian food, or for that matter, just good food. Then you should definitely check this place out.

Visited this restaurant as our usual restaurant was closed. I now think we will be visiting this one from now on. The food was really nice and the service was great. Will definitely be returning

What a disappointment. Used this restaurant regularly pre covid and always had an exceptional eating experience.. how things have changed. Menu looks appealing but don't be fooled.. Cheap ingredients, some of it bought in frozen I would guess by the lack of flavour and poor presentation. Over priced starters for what was delivered and thrown on plates with no finesse or pride in presentation, with main courses not properly heated through. Waitress was very pleasant but seemed to be the only one working the restaurant floor. Cheeky 12.5 service charge on bill which only the waitress deserved. Used to recommend this restaurant to all but won't be doing that in the future or returning again.. Will try the other Italian a little further down next time.

Nice friendly waitress very knowledgeable about the menu. Food arrived very quickly and it was hot and tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone will return again when visiting the area again

Was passing through lunchtime and needed a quick bite to eat. Pizza Firenze and its menu looked kind of authentic so we gave it a try. Sadly, the food did not live up to the menu. What was described as panini was actually just a big slice of baguette and not what was expected. Pizza and garlic bread were OK but frankly not something we would come back for. Pleasant service, but a bit cheeky to add on a service charge as well.

Looking for somewhere to eat and decided to pop in here as we hadn’t been in years. I’m sorry to say it’s average all round. It seemed to take ages to get served even though the place was pretty empty. The waitress leaned over people with the plates rather than just walking round to the other side of the table, which I felt was awkward and a bit rude. I had a pizza but the cheese tasted soapy…. Weird! The dessert however was fantastic! A mint chocolate bombe type thing! The other three people I was with all also thought the food and service were average!

Probably the worst meal I’ve had. Spaghetti Carbonara tasted sour as though cream was off and strips of processed ham. My 2 friends had a salad where the chicken looked processed- pale and tasteless and the bacon rasher looked plastic. How difficult is it to make a salad with freshly cooked chicken/bacon. Although we all left food on our plates, not once were we asked if everything was ok- pretty standard question I would have thought if substantial amounts of food left. No option to have a coffee with oat or soya milk (my friend has a dairy allergy) so we didn’t bother. Avoid at all costs - bitterly disappointed.

Had a lovely meal tonight, we hadn't booked but they found us a table in less than 2 minutes. The food was amazing, staff were brilliant, restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere and the bill was extremely reasonable. Well done to all the staff, keep up the great work

Great place, polite staff. Great attentive table staff. Only two servers but coping better than some similar sized establishments with twice that number. Well run, well presented business. Service charge IS included in the bill total. Two wines, 2 soft drinks, two starters and two pizzas for main course £85 incl service charge.

We had a lovely lasagne, can't wait to go back and try other meals. Friendly service and reasonable prices too.

I have just had my wedding reception there, and it was incredible. The staff were fantastic, the chefs made some georgous food, and the drinks kept flowing. They made it a special night.

Sometimes you can tell a restaurant is going to be really good when you walk through the door and amazing smells of gorgeous food cooking gently waft past you. From the moment we walked through the door I knew we were in for a great evening and they didn't disappoint. Great choice on the menu and exciting specials to keep regulars coming back. We dropped in after a day at Chessington as a group of 6 and got seated. Kids stuff is high class the pasta amazing and some really fresh seafood in the Risotto Mare I had. Wish these guys had a place in Reading, fortunately they are not a chain and I am glad they are not. Letherhead has a very decent culinary attraction, I can imagine Genaro Contaldo getting excited about what they cook and how...proper Italian grub, simple and very well executed. Benisimo

We have only been here twice, but the last time was a few days after the first time, so that should explain how much we rated it! It is now firmly on our list of places to go for a great Pizza with helpful and polite staff, a nice atmosphere with covered external seating on the street. It has a holiday feel (without the weather). The food has been great so far although we haven't sampled everything yet! Service charge is automatically added to the bill. Defo worth a visit as these well run and friendly venues are dying out!

Absolutely awful dinner tonight it's a shame because we went there twice last year and was amazing maybe they've changed chefs but we ordered two fillet steaks and it was like trying to chew through leather and the mussels starter was not very well cooked after a few minutes of ordering the starter it was at the table so obviously microwaved or pre made I now have a very sick partner in bed sad too say we won't be returning there

I recently organised a large delivery of pizza in advance for a birthday party at Leatherhead leisure centre soft play. Stef was extremely helpful and made this so easy for me. The pizza was absolutely delicious, there wasn’t a single slice left! Thank you for the great food and absolutely fantastic service. Will definitely be recommending you.
