The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

We visited with some friends for the first time today. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We’ll be back.

Lovely staff, food and atmosphere.

Two of us had pizzas which were average and tasteless. My husband had a seafood casserole, it was luke warm and tasteless, obviously frozen seafood. We had olives to start with bruschetta, both not good. My husband sent back the seafood, I only ate half of my pizza. The waiter was charming and very apologetic. We were charged for two glasses of white wine but they didn’t charge for the revolting seafood. We will not be returning.

Maria is the best. Excellent service and pizza. The best pizza I have had in England Perfect host Maria treated us so well and food was Delishous. Thank you Maria. Thank you Angelo Pizza best in England. 10/10

Lovely little place for a coffee and light lunch! Coffees arrived fast and tasted great. My partner ordered the peri peri chicken wrap which was super juicy and I had the beef brisket ramen (genuinely 10/10 - I was pleasantly surprised!) we sat outside on clean tables and sofas… basking in the sunshine. Staff were friendly and attentive which was an added bonus too. Will be stopping by again when we’re next in the area!

Delicious gelato with some amazing flavours, between us we tried the lemon meringue, pistachio, chocolate, mango, vanilla and Nutella. All of them were absolutely delicious can’t wait to go back.

An anniversary meal and chose what WAS a great restaurant The text sent the dat before stating that had to reply with name number and time of booking made over a week ago as it would not be confirmed till this detail was given. Welcome was not what had previously experienced there and not given a great table. Had to ask one of the four waitresses if we could order a drink 10 minutes after being sat down - wouldn’t have minded but there were only 3 other tables occupied. Ordered starter without ‘peppers’ I had to explain to the waitress what peppers were as in “bell peppers, the green, red, yellow, orange ones- bit worrying really was not asked if we had any allergies which was surprising as this is a repeated question you’re asked nowadays. After and hour of arriving for our reservation, ordering and finishing our starter the main came. My wife ordered smoked salmon and pasta, what arrived was cooked salmon in the pasta not smoked a totally different taste and flavour. I asked to check the menu and smoked was stated, we explained this to who appeared to be the head waitress, who could not comprehend the difference in cooked or smoked, no apology or explanation was given and we were only asked to reselect, lasagna was asked for. I had ordered and had a lovely veal Milanese, with salad, which I finished, my wife asked that hers now be cancelled as would not want to eat on her own as I was finished, minutes later a lasagne arrived this was duly returned and the bill asked for. Very unprofessional No apology Poor service A total and unfortunate change and a restaurant I will not voluntarily go to again Times are a changing and this is a shamefully wrong direction

La experiencia fue excelente. Las pizzas eran deliciosas, pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue el servicio de Patricia. Su amabilidad y eficiencia nos hizo sentir como en casa. Sin duda volveremos. ¡Gracias, Patricia!

Thought I’d write a review since this place wasn’t open last week when I wanted to eat there and really hope it opens again soon. I’ve been coming here for six years ever since I moved to the area with friends, my partner or even just by myself. My friends and I love it as a down to earth, independent Italian restaurant with fair prices - so hard to come by these days. Their food is great - pizza, pasta, crunchy Ceaser salad and nice house red too. I love the semi-old school decor. I threw a bday party here on a Friday evening once and service was amazing for such a large table.

We come for lunch and pasta was verry good. We try the silk Handkerchiefs with Pork and prawn dish. very good for first time in London. thanks to Urooj for good service and recommend dish

I've reviewed this restaurant before but after a fantastic meal last night am reviewing it again. Usually go with the whole family but yesterday went with my husband for his birthday and we had the best burger (him beef, me chicken) with delcious truffle oil fries that we can remember! Also had fried Mozzarella and prawn and gnochi starters which were enjoyed too. Our server was very pleasant and helpful , the drinks were cold, the atmosphere was good (it was quite busy for a Tuesday evening) and service was quick. Am definitely going to return soon. I have a taste card so get the advantage of 2 for 1 midweek but if we fancy a meal at the weekend I am happy to come here and pay full price. Was looking to see why the 1 star reviews and most of them seem to date from a period around Sept/October 2021 when they maybe had staffing problems, would recommend you give it a chance if you haven't been before.

Pasé por aquí porque tenían mesas disponibles, y estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho. El servicio era excelente, el café muy bueno y la pasta excelente - incluso la pasta sin gluten que es muy fácil de liar. Sin duda nos volveremos a parar.

Order from prezzo from time to time mainly when there is a deal on through one of the many delivery sites. The pizza is always great quality and tasty and they have white pizza Bianco options that I really like. The garlic bread with caramelised onion is always lovely too, this said if we had to pay full price I would buy elsewhere as there are various pizza options locally. But if there is a deal and its the same price I would recommend you give it a try.

Ambiente accogliente, molto bravi tutti e proprietario molto gentile. Ho mangiato un’ottima pasta insieme a mia mamma, se dovessi mai ripassare da Chippenham Sì andrei di nuovo sicuramente!
