Good service, great food, amazing atmosphere

Getti was perfect for a quick supper late on a Saturday. The team managed Covid restrictions very well. Food was excellent an d quick to arrive.

We were early but that wasn't a problem. Waiters were polite and attentive but not pushy. Food was excellent - tasty, hot and promptly served. Have eaten here before, both in company and solo - always same high standards. Will be back!

My maiden visit - and sadly now last for a while thanks again to covid - to this smart, but unpretentious ristorante in the beating heart of Jermyn Street. Apparently pronounced "jetty" as in "protégé", I received excellent attentive service from various waiting staff, who recognised when I wanted to make my own choices while offering assistance when I required it. Granted, it was hardy fully representative of a normal Wednesday afternoon as we were still under restrictions, so they had more time to spend with the fewer punters who'd turned up. Nevertheless, I suspect it's generally an efficient and friendly venue and if I returned today I suspect they may even remember me, despite being central London. The food was very good indeed; it's hard for an Italian place to be superlative, as there's just so many competitors out there. My bresaola starter was decent, but the seafood risotto main truly superb - authentic, simple, yet very flavoursome, well-presented and satisfying. I told them it was the best I'd tried in years and I stand by that. Wine-wise, the choice was appropriate and each one sampled was served at ideal temperature. I was graciously offered a post-prandial grappa too! All-told, a worthy destination for reliable, smart yet affordable Italian food served with charm. Cheaper than nearby Al Duca and arguably just as good on its menu. Their second branch at Marylebone had to close courtesy of the covidity; let's hope this one doesn't end up following suit.

Have been to Getti before and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, I would have given them 5 stars but for the fact they didn't seem able to serve hit coffee, my guest and I returned our cups only to be replaced with equally cold cups. Can recommend the bolognaise and the prawn pasta

Getti is a simple Italian restaurant in he heart of London that is friendly, simple yet has very sophisticated aspects. I knew this restaurant in its former guise in Maddox Street nd it does not disappoint!

What a lovely find. Had a theatre night with a friend and decided to try here. Italian is not my fave but boy was it sensational. Food was delicious and the service fab. Ate and drank before the show and then had drinks again after. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant as it doesn’t happen often. We will be back. So thank you to all the staff. I shall definitely recommend you to everyone.

Prime location in Jermyn Street with attractive decor but little atmosphere. Fairly good menu. Wine expensive. House wine poor and not sufficiently chilled. Overall disappointing.

Lovely meal. My partner had a lovely mushroom pasta dish and I had a very nice pizza - piccante large and suitably spicy. We didnt have a dessert- straight to a cup of tea which was nicely presented! Service excellent. Will go again. Chosen as next door to Jermyn Street theatre.

This was an early dinner as we were going to the cinema round the corner. We were greeted warmly by staff and asked where we would like to sit. Whilst waiting for my husband we were offered drinks and ordered a starter. As soon as he arrived we ordered, and our individual dishes and side orders were absolutely delicious! The attention we received by waiting staff was exceptional and we ate absolutely everything! Amongst the 4 of us we had 2 different types of steaks, a tagliatelle bolognaise and a salmon dish. We shall return! Thank you Getti!

Good food and service we were upstairs so ambience not quite as lovely it is downstairs but altogether a lovely afternoon.

Had a great meal here, service was attentive and smooth. The Bolognese is sublime. If I had a small complaint, the music was too loud (90s rock) which totally didn’t work. But we we asked them to turn it down, they need some decent music on low! Definitely worth a visit.

Really friendly staff. Tasty food and really good value for the centre of London.

Three of us came here for a pre-theatre meal. Two lasagnes were very nice but the Little Italy Chicken Parm was awful. It’s a shame because overall the service was good but you wouldn’t call this place value for money and the menu is quite limited.

Good quality Italian food, served quickly and professionally in this nice little restaurant locted in Jermyn Street just 1 minute walk from Piccadilly Circus. Ideal for pre-theatre dinner, or a lunch between shopping in Regent Street, Piccadilly, and S James's. Large protions. Acceptable prices.

We just had such a good experience here that I had to post a comment. It’s not a mind blowing luxury restaurant, but just such a nice oasis a stone’s throw from Picadilly. Kind, pleasant staff who were all of them the perfect level of friendly but not “in your face”. Comfortable chairs, nice background music. And such good food! The carbonara was the best we’ve had and the Gorgonzola ravioli was perfect. We will be back, thank you!

If you are in the area shopping or going to theater the place to have a meal before you go. The food is very authentic not over priced. Good service nice selection of Italian wines by the glass. It does not brake the bank. Try the Veal Milanese with fried zucchini or the traditional melanzane parmigiana. Excellent. I loved the new decor.

Great place for taking work colleagues

Went with a colleague for lunch, service was good and also quick which was great for us. Food was very good and wine selection just as good. I would have liked to see some specials or perhaps a lunch set menu.

I have to say that Getti is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to - and I have been to Italy a lot! The carbonara really is out of this world and for the price, you really can’t go wrong! My favourite restaurant in London!

A great meal out tonight. Fantastic pasta and oven cooked pizza. Ideal for couples or families, very child friendly. Waiters were attentive and professional.

Al più la si potrebbe paragonare, qualitativamente, a quella di un normalissimo Autogrill nazionale; purtroppo, tuttavia, il prezzo decisamente troppo caro delle mediocri pietanze servite, fa crollare miseramente l'intera valutazione - già estremamente modesta, come accennavo poc'anzi.

Excellent service and good ambiance. Have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Ideal position. However I was disappointed there was no Set Menu which you have had in the past and wine was on the expensive side.

Ate here on a busy Saturday lunch time, good menu selection at reasonable prices for Central London. The quality of the food we had was excellent, and enjoyed by all. Friendly and efficient staff, would definitely return, and highly recommend it.

Visited here on Tuesday with work colleagues after a day long meeting. Some of us had to travel home afterwards so we ate early. I booked over the phone and the table was ready when we arrived. One of our party was vegan and there was something suitable although not a hot main which is something

Was a bit worried having seen some negative reviews after I'd booked it, but we had a lovely time. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and well cooked. I chose calves liver which is always a test and it was just right. Didn't have dessert as too full. House wine perfectly acceptable and fairly priced for London in particular. I'd be happy to go there again.

We'd come up to London see a play at the Jermyn Street Theatre and hoped to find an eatery nearby. Nearby turned out to be right next door!

We went to the cinema just around the corner and went here for a meal, it was fantastic, good service, excellent food, reasonably priced and a good happy atmosphere, thoroughly recommend it ,

Was traveling from the states with my family with two young children had an Amazing meal here! Authentic Italian that doesn't get any better. We are very particular about our Italian food and dishes and Getti exceeded our expectations.

Had a wonderful dinner here while visiting London. Arancini were the best I’ve ever had—served with a delicious cream sauce. Gnocchi served with a wonderful tomato sauce, with cherry tomatoes. Pizza with prosciutto was good. Excellent service.

We had a very nice lunch at Getti as part of a day out in London. The service was excellent and the food enjoyable. One to return to.

I eat out in London several times a week and have been here just a few times in the last eight years. My visit tonight was a reminder of why I don’t eat here regularly. The service was slow (we had to ask where our drinks were after about 10 mins and our sides arrived a long time after our mains). The wine was disappointing, my chicken Milanese was wafer thin and our bill was expensive for what we had.

Surprised that could find this quality so close to St Paul's. Great French quisine.

Great food, very impressed with the steak dish and the traditional spag Bol. Will definitely go again, only reason didn’t give it 5 stars was the adding of service charge! But that’s London for you I guess

When I were in London I visited this restaurant 3 times.

La carta de vinos es posiblemente una de las más confusas que he visto en términos de cantidades: es casi imposible calcular cuánto está ordenando realmente. La comida estaba bien (tenía pizza y mis amigos tenían pasta) pero muy caro para lo que podrías tener en una docena de restaurantes a poca distancia. Hay lugares de mejor valor para comer cerca.

Estaba buscando un lugar para comer al final de una excursión de un día con mi hijo y me encontré con Getti por casualidad. El personal era acogedor y el servicio fue bueno. Tuve taglierini con langostinos y calabacines en salsa de ajo, chile y vino blanco. Mi hijo tenía lasaña y ambos estaban deliciosos. Ambiente agradable y buena música a un volumen cómodo. Definitivamente regresaría.

Las propinas deben ser voluntarias. Muy mal humor. Carbonara super pesada. Carta de vinos aburrida pero cara. Hay una razón por la que estaban casi vacíos cuando los otros restaurantes tenían esperas de 45 minutos o no tenían disponibilidad. Pero no habíamos planeado con anticipación y cuando no planificas la cena, te quedas atascado con los lugares que nadie quiere

This place has gone down the hill significantly since our last visit. Booked table not ready, much reduced menu, messed up our food order, undercooked pizza, incredibly expensive very ordinary wine, lots of young staff being ineffective, very small porion size. Pre theatre light meal, the food content just over £50, bill more than doubled with wine and 12.5% service charge to £106. No atmosphere, a very ordinary and disappointing experience, used to feel a bit special, now just not worth the effort, might as well do one of the big chains, because this is now an overpricedor imitation, go elsewhere

Visited this restaurant after visiting the theatre. Stumbled upon it by accident. Great service, lovely food. We visited around 10pm so was relatively quiet. Would recommend and visit again. Reasonably priced, for 2 courses for 2 people and a drink was £45!

Early evening meal before the theatre around 5pm on a Monday, booking recommended, clean environment and service good, prices normal London, food presentation and flavours were very nice and in some cases unusual particularly the spinach, enjoyable start to an evening.

Nice little place a block from Leister Sq - quiet, good food and service. We were all happy with our choices: Tagliatelle del casa, Bolognese and liver & chicken. Desserts were delicious. Definitely try the chocolate cake and fried Gnocchi filled with Nutella!!

Delightful lunch with a work colleague. Sat upstairs where there is plenty of space between tables for a quiet conversation. Delicious calamari, pasta and pizza. Attentive service could have had us in and out inside the hour but we lingered over coffee and were not hurried off. Perfect for a working lunch.

Fantastic food and the service was great. Place is easy to find and not too big - ambiance is casual and not noisy. I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli. It was pleasant enough but the portion was tiny for £13! On the plus side, the restaurant was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive. I ate with colleagues who all said their food was nice and, for some reason, their portions (of different options) were much larger than mine! Overall, I would probably give it another go.

A pleasant meal, but please drop the optional service charge and carbon free dining charge. Either include in your prices or allow the diner to decide what tip to leave.

The carbonara was small but tasty . The lasagna was five layers of pasta , no sign of meat or sauce and had been cremated to a crisp . When this was pointed out to manager at the end of the meal she calculated how much had been eaten of it and knocked off £5.00 . She insisted it was freshly made that morning , but didn't realise that if you leave it in the oven all day it won' t be too appetising at 7.00 pm.

Had lunch here with a colleague. We had calamari, margharita pizza, lasagne, seafood pasta, and a small side salad and some peroni beers. We sat upstairs by the window. It was very pleasant. Good food, and very good value. £9 for a Margharita pizza! I will be returning.

We booked Getti for 6pm midweek and were one of the first customers with a nice window seat. We’d had a long day so we’re really looking forward to a great meal. The menu is a straight up traditional Italian with a fair amount of choice. We skipped starters and just had bread and oils. Our party ordered a pizza which was by far the best dish of the three, spaghetti carbonara which was ok although somewhat thick in texture. The lasagne was luke warm and was returned - another portion followed by it looked cremated and pretty sad. The restaurant quickly filled up and the atmosphere is good. The service was ok and the bill overpriced. It’s a shame but I wouldn’t recommend.

the restaurant cancelled the reservation 2H before we were supposed to have lunch. Very unfortunate.

Knew we were in the right place when several of the other guests were Italian - the staff was speaking to them in their native tongue. Food was very good and service excellent. It was right around the corner from our hotel, so happened upon it. Pizza crust was crisp and not greasy and my husband loved the lasagne. Definitely recommend.

Delicious authentic Italian food. Excellent service especially as we were in a rush for the theatre. Good wine and cost overall was very good value. For somewhere so central a fabulous experience we will be back.

Solid Italian food offering. I’d suggest making sure to make a reservation - they were keen to turn all those without one away when we were there. I made a ressie maybe 20 minutes beforehand no problem so definitely worth it to not run the risk of being turned away. We had good portions, good service and good food all the way around.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera.ll ristorante molto elegante e allo stesso tempo accogliente. Ottima accoglienza anche da parte del personale di sala, sopratutto da parte del maitre Gianluca, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta dei clienti sempre con il sorriso! Piatti squisiti, per non parlare della cheesecake alle fragole bontà per il palato! Consiglio questo ristorante veramente a tutti, non ve ne pentirete!!

Situated close to theatres in Piccadilly Circus, Getti is great place to enjoy Italian food and still be a 5 minute walk from multiple theatres.

We don’t live in London but whenever we go to theatre land we visit here. It’s not cheap but the food is excellent. I had the clam linguine which was delicious and shared a tiramisu for desert. Food is very reasonable. What pushed our bill up was we went a bit overboard on the drinks as we had enjoyed such a fabulous day. So had bottle of wine plus extra drinks so our own fault really! Plus there’s no pockets in shrouds as my granny used to say.

My Girlfriend and I went for a lovely dinner at Getti. The decor was tastefully done and the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Visited on a Wednesday at 5pm. It was practically empty when we arrived, so easy to get seated, but 3/4 full when we left over an hour later.
