The best restaurants serving Indian food in Newport South Wales

Been in multiple times since lock down after previously visiting the Caerleon store. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The selections of fillings for your wrap / sandwich / salad is amazing too. Super helpful with my dietary requirements. The range of salad fillings is amazing too, including couscous, sun-dried tomatoes and olives. The portion sizes are incredible. I'd highly recommend the ham salad, Falafel and hummus or the onion bhaji and mango chutney. The brownies on offer are great too, tried to vegan one in Caerleon which is great hopefully in the future more dairy free options are added. Would eat lunch here everyday if I could

I like to believe I'm a curry connisure, This takeaway ticked all my boxes, especially the heat, and unless they let me down on future orders, they will remain my favourite in Newport.

The waiter was transparent with me when asked for recommendations and suggested an authentic dish. Owner was lovely. The dish tasted like what my south Asian family would cook for each other.

Best kebab shop in Wales. Make sure to come to Red Chilli. Waiting time is quick and the boss is the best, peaceful and amazing food. Large selection of food 😋

Absolutely disgusting food, inedible. Was told the delivery wait would be 45minutes, it was over 1 hour and 20 minutes. The food was awful, and we had to bin it all!! I phoned the restaurant and was told that the regular chef wasn't in, so he didn't deny the food was horrible. I asked for my money back as we didn't eat the food and was told the driver was too busy to come back but that he would post the money through my door at the end if his shift which he did not. £30 spent on no food! Do not recommend and would never visit here again!!!

The food was delicious and flavoursome. And served in good time. It was Sunday evening, so not too crowded atmosphere. Abdul and his team made it an excellent evening and experience for us. Will strongly recommend.

I had previously booked a table for a group of 25 people for a leaving party. Arrived there 15mins ahead of booked time to find the building in darkness and a sign saying it was closed due to unforseen circumstances. I had no call, despite taking all contact detail at the time of booking. Sign left in the door by environmental health stated a NUMBER of things about RATS, in and around the food prep areas, food, drinks and their (rat) droppings. Diabolical customer services. Never mind cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting & then to find out the reasons are RATS! In their kitchen, cellar, bar, on their food and cooking utensils etc.

Most pathetic customer service , they are the most rudest people I have ever seen in a restaurant business.

My partner and I chose this takeaway for it's high star rating. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed and unimpressed with our meals. Mine went in the bin. Mushroom rice was overdone and burnt in places. I can only describe the butter chicken as disgusting. Tikka chicken slices covered in sickly sauce with lumps of onion thrown on top. Waste of money.

Beautiful interior, great food and excellent service!

Had take away of Chicken bhuna and Delhi karhai checken. Very tasty.

You will be hard pressed to find better Indian food within a hundred miles.
