Hatti in Newport

We are regular customers of Hatti, I enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Great restaurant, thank you

Planeer curry was lots of white creamy sauce but less panner. I also ordered king prawn Balti with little to few prawns and I still have half the container with onions in it with sauce. I think having 40% off means less for your money. The meals are not cheap in this place so I’m quite upset still paying any amount of money for (what I thought good quality fair amount supposedly food). I won’t be ordering from you again. This is the second time this has happened.

worst ever briyani & red wine i ever had in my life. its not at all indian restaurant except the menu. If you want to try indian receipe, its not the right one.

Lovely food and lovely service. Come for my friends birthday and they have her a cocktail on the house. The curry was delicious and so flavoursome

This is second time I have ordered from here . And both times the food has been hot. And very nice too . Not like some others. I could mention. Where the was warned up and then cold when got it. And what made it worse. I always ordered from them . So would have thought they would look after their regulars. . But no all the think about is taking your money.

Extremely late, this is the third time this has happened now along with other problems so will 100% not be ordering from here again. Rang up once to see where food was, was told about 10 minutes away. Did not turn up for another 40 minutes. Assuming the food was with them the entire time as the food was not the warmest. Absolutely appalling service

Habib was excellent and recommended great food, very tasteful, large portions, would highly recommend. Will be come back when in the area.

Order food to be delivered asap and it turns up 2 hours later….

We found a bit lump of grissle in our food and the Nan bread was no flavour at all very dissapointing this time I would request a refund the food is still here for collection

Disappointed tonight with my chicken tikka biriani, plenty of chicken but the rice was very greasy with an excess of burnt onions - edible but nowhere near as tasty as the last time I ordered. The madras sauce I ordered was OK but again, not as nice as last time. Saving grace was the peshwari nan which was lovely.

I usually have a great Madras from Hatti. This wasnt a Madras...wasn't spicy at all. The wrong curry was delivered. I tried to eat some of it but ended up throwing in the bin.

Food within estimated delivery time but was cold as driver had drove past us then didn’t call for another 10 minutes. He’d clearly been driving around a while. Food was bland, lacking spice and flavour. Tikka was dry and curry skimped on meat.

Order arrived with many things missing. Rang up to tell them, they said they’d send it out and it would be there in 30 mins, it didn’t arrive until 2 hours later just as I was getting ready to go to bed. Absolutely appalling service and from the phone call it sounded like many other people had the same problem that night.

Stunning food the second time of ordering

Very bland curry which is surprising because when I ate in the restaurant it was delicious. Is there a different chef for takeaway orders I wonder?

I have been waiting for nearly 2 and a half hours! The food was cold so wish i could have given more stars. After waiting for such a long time i had gone past the hunger of eating a big meal so have bearly touched it :(

ordered a takeout from here tonight was OK but nothing special had the chicken maharajah buna and chicken pathia asked for chicken tikka for both with apna style spice, the chicken tikka flavour was bland not like tikka at all n the currys were lacking spice . the mushroom rice and garlic naan were good. have had better at other spots so personally won't be rushing back .

Service was very poor! Delivery time was changed after the original time it was meant to be delivered and even then it was late again. We waited over an hour and a half for the food! I called the restaurant and they said they had a problem with delivery drivers but when I complained via Just Eat they said the driver was stuck in heavy traffic … on a Sunday night at 8.40pm! The 40% off is an amazing deal but they obviously cannot cope with the amount of orders! Food wasn’t as good as usual! Poor

The food is always top tier when I order. The boys in HATTI are really nice and friendly. I fully recommend everybody try their food

Had a family meal here, 14 of us with relatives visiting from Canada. First time here, and was sooo scrumptious !!! Portions were very generous, flavour amazing and timing spot on. All servers were fab, Shuvo went above and beyond for our side of the table ensuring our drinks were always topped up and our meal was good. Would come again when next in the area 🥰

What a lovely place to eat. Food is spectacular, the ambience is super. Staff are really helpful and can’t do enough for you. Shuvo was incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. I would definitely recommend here and can’t wait to go again.

a very poor meal, the onion bhaji’s were soggy and came with no mint sauce, poppadoms were also not crispy, ordered the chicken pathia, the chicken was very dry and there was no spice to the sauce in fact the keema nan was spicier than the curry. all delivered like warm, I don’t usually leave bad reviews but the hatti came highly recommended and it was a big disappointment, unfortunately one of the worst indian takeaways i’ve had.

1st time we ordered (directly of their website) food was delivered but the driver tried to charge an extra £10! I had to argue and show proof of my order before he would let me have the food...however the food was good if a little cool. Ordered again tonight and the food was average, the order was messed up with curry sauces incorrectly labeled (written in Sharpie) mixed kebab was inedible, covered in a thick coconut sauce and onions which completely obliterated the flavour of the kebab meat. Won't be ordering again. I'm sad about this because I really wanted to like this food.

No! just no! The Lamb Medium curry was 50% oil on the top and for £9.90 you would expect the container to be at least half full, even if that is will pure oil! Absolutely disgusting, I have messaged the restaurant to mention it with the photos but how can they send that dish out happily? Avoid.

Ordered for the first time here and was very impressed with the food taste & quality. Food Items: Paneer Butter Masala was top notch with the right blend of sweetness & hotness. Panner cubes in it was very fresh, soft & tender. Garlic Naan matched very well with the masala. Vegetable Biriyani was just perfect & heavenly. Order Placement: The person who took my order via phone was very prompt & helpful with suggestion's. Delivery: The delivery woman took effort to deliver on time although google maps was incorrect within the new estate. Verdict: The entire food tasted just like how you get back in India. Could definitely recommend. Will order again & hope the consistency is maintained as always.

The location is good and delicious food, friendly staff, Only drawback with Car parking but you can use opposite car parking just £1 pound for 2 hours. You need to do online payment.

We ordered roti, and they served tortillas!! It's hard to believe that they claimed this was a Roti, and on top of that, they charged almost 4 pounds per tortilla.

I went for my first sit down meal at Hatti's. The onion bhaji's were the best I've ever eaten. I had Butter Chicken for main. This had a lot of flavour, and creamy. Abz and Shuvo our waiters were very helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening with delicious food.

Lovely meal. I like a nice hot naga curry with lots of flavour and this hit the spot. The staff were great especially Shuvo who is a lovely waiter and a credit to your establishment.
