Hatti in Newport

ordered at 7 arrived 20 past 9 stone cold waste of money ended up in the bin will not order again

2 hours and 45 minutes to be delivered from point of order. Appreciate places being busy but zero communication to help.

Ordered 2.5 hours in advance. Food was 25 minutes late and cold. We paid cash and driver didn’t have enough change so he ended up with a £3 tip for food that wasn’t on time and not to the expected standard.

Order still hasn’t arrived. Call the restaurant numerous times to be told they have left, in no circumstances should it take 2 hours for a curry

Absolutely delicious food as always and spot on delivery. The Paneer meals are so, so good. And we're fussy eaters, so we asked for no coriander and no onions etc and they took note of all of our requests and sent it as we wanted. Yum!

Apologies for being late bit cold

Estimated delivery time was over an hour ago and we're still waiting. Spoke to the restaurant and they havent even started cooking it yet. Why accept orders if you're so backlogged?

I have visited Hatti many times and every time it has been outstanding. I could not recommend Hatti enough, our waiter Abz was fantastic tonight we will be back!

Went Saturday with families best Indian around.they give us upstairs table.food was amazing service was absolutely amazing Abz who served us he was looking after us so well and always smiling.drinks and food all came on time .we shall be back soon.keep it up the good work thank you for everything :)

Great Menu really good selection of dishes. Food fantastic service is great really friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant one if not the best Indian in Newport.

We follow up a complaint to justeat 1st of January from your reply on goggle review - Hatti justeat reply back & they Refused a refund & we appealed with the same answer Disgusting service from them & yourselves with no option of a refund from the restaurant or just eat

Had take away, good was ok. Mixed up food lids so ended up people eating wrong food.

Awful salmon starter inedible was off . Duck starter over cooked very dry . Arrived cold would not order again ... ever

Not a very good Christmas Meal and the atmosphere was very poor. It seemed that the quicker we got it over with the better Disappointment for our guests too. Plastic throwaway dishes used for baby sized ice cream as pudding.😭

Pre-ordered at 5pm to arrive at 8pm. Tried to contact the restaurant at 8:15, phone was constantly busy. Tried to get an update via JustEat, no response. Food eventually arrived 45 minutes late and cold.

Had a table of 9 of us everything runs like clockwork, every request, all timings, everything was spot on. What a slick operation and lovely food too. Will be coming back again soon!

We went to the restaurant for Christmas Day and it was out of this world. Hot , fresh and so tasty! We will definitely do it again.

Always, always quality food from Hatti. Sometimes from other places you get four lumps of meat floating in a generic sauce, but Hatti always packs as much meat into the dish as they can, and the sauces are genuine. Altogether great.

Second time ordering, the first was great but this time the food was terrible. No taste whatsoever to the chicken tikka. The masala sauce was pure coconut and too sweet to eat. The chips were cold and dry.

Planeer curry was lots of white creamy sauce but less panner. I also ordered king prawn Balti with little to few prawns and I still have half the container with onions in it with sauce. I think having 40% off means less for your money. The meals are not cheap in this place so I’m quite upset still paying any amount of money for (what I thought good quality fair amount supposedly food). I won’t be ordering from you again. This is the second time this has happened.

worst ever briyani & red wine i ever had in my life. its not at all indian restaurant except the menu. If you want to try indian receipe, its not the right one.

Lovely food and lovely service. Come for my friends birthday and they have her a cocktail on the house. The curry was delicious and so flavoursome

This is second time I have ordered from here . And both times the food has been hot. And very nice too . Not like some others. I could mention. Where the was warned up and then cold when got it. And what made it worse. I always ordered from them . So would have thought they would look after their regulars. . But no all the think about is taking your money.

Extremely late, this is the third time this has happened now along with other problems so will 100% not be ordering from here again. Rang up once to see where food was, was told about 10 minutes away. Did not turn up for another 40 minutes. Assuming the food was with them the entire time as the food was not the warmest. Order food to be delivered asap and it turns up 2 hours later….

We found a bit lump of grissle in our food and the Nan bread was no flavour at all very dissapointing this time I would request a refund the food is still here for collection

Disappointed tonight with my chicken tikka biriani, plenty of chicken but the rice was very greasy with an excess of burnt onions - edible but nowhere near as tasty as the last time I ordered. The madras sauce I ordered was OK but again, not as nice as last time. Saving grace was the peshwari nan which was lovely.

I usually have a great Madras from Hatti. This wasnt a Madras...wasn't spicy at all. The wrong curry was delivered. I tried to eat some of it but ended up throwing in the bin.

Food within estimated delivery time but was cold as driver had drove past us then didn’t call for another 10 minutes. He’d clearly been driving around a while. Food was bland, lacking spice and flavour. Tikka was dry and curry skimped on meat.

Order arrived with many things missing. Rang up to tell them, they said they’d send it out and it would be there in 30 mins, it didn’t arrive until 2 hours later just as I was getting ready to go to bed. Absolutely appalling service and from the phone call it sounded like many other people had the same problem that night.

Stunning food the second time of ordering

Very bland curry which is surprising because when I ate in the restaurant it was delicious. Is there a different chef for takeaway orders I wonder?

Service was very poor! Delivery time was changed after the original time it was meant to be delivered and even then it was late again. We waited over an hour and a half for the food! I called the restaurant and they said they had a problem with delivery drivers but when I complained via Just Eat they said the driver was stuck in heavy traffic … on a Sunday night at 8.40pm! The 40% off is an amazing deal but they obviously cannot cope with the amount of orders! Food wasn’t as good as usual! Poor

ordered a takeout from here tonight was OK but nothing special had the chicken maharajah buna and chicken pathia asked for chicken tikka for both with apna style spice, the chicken tikka flavour was bland not like tikka at all n the currys were lacking spice . the mushroom rice and garlic naan were good. have had better at other spots so personally won't be rushing back .

Had a family meal here, 14 of us with relatives visiting from Canada. First time here, and was sooo scrumptious !!! Portions were very generous, flavour amazing and timing spot on. All servers were fab, Shuvo went above and beyond for our side of the table ensuring our drinks were always topped up and our meal was good. Would come again when next in the area 🥰
